อิผิษิณ: 1
1 อีศฺวรเสฺยจฺฉยา ยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย เปฺรริต: เปาล อิผิษนครสฺถานฺ ปวิตฺรานฺ ขฺรีษฺฏยีเศา วิศฺวาสิโน โลกานฺ ปฺรติ ปตฺรํ ลิขติฯ
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 อสฺมากํ ตาตเสฺยศฺวรสฺย ปฺรโภ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย จานุคฺรห: ศานฺติศฺจ ยุษฺมาสุ วรฺตฺตตำฯ
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 อสฺมากํ ปฺรโภ รฺยีโศ: ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ตาต อีศฺวโร ธโนฺย ภวตุ; ยต: ส ขฺรีษฺเฏนาสฺมภฺยํ สรฺวฺวมฺ อาธฺยาตฺมิกํ สฺวรฺคียวรํ ทตฺตวานฺฯ
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
4 วยํ ยตฺ ตสฺย สมกฺษํ เปฺรมฺนา ปวิตฺรา นิษฺกลงฺกาศฺจ ภวามสฺตทรฺถํ ส ชคต: สฺฤษฺเฏ ปูรฺวฺวํ เตนาสฺมานฺ อภิโรจิตวานฺ, นิชาภิลษิตานุโรธาจฺจ
even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in love,
5 ยีศุนา ขฺรีษฺเฏน สฺวสฺย นิมิตฺตํ ปุตฺรตฺวปเท'สฺมานฺ สฺวกียานุคฺรหสฺย มหตฺตฺวสฺย ปฺรศํสารฺถํ ปูรฺวฺวํ นิยุกฺตวานฺฯ
having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,
6 ตสฺมาทฺ อนุคฺรหาตฺ ส เยน ปฺริยตเมน ปุเตฺรณาสฺมานฺ อนุคฺฤหีตวานฺ,
to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the Beloved.
7 วยํ ตสฺย โศณิเตน มุกฺติมฺ อรฺถต: ปาปกฺษมำ ลพฺธวนฺต: ฯ
In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace
8 ตสฺย ย อีทฺฤโศ'นุคฺรหนิธิสฺตสฺมาตฺ โส'สฺมภฺยํ สรฺวฺววิธํ ชฺญานํ พุทฺธิญฺจ พาหุลฺยรูเปณ วิตริตวานฺฯ
which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,
9 สฺวรฺคปฺฤถิโวฺย รฺยทฺยทฺ วิทฺยเต ตตฺสรฺวฺวํ ส ขฺรีษฺเฏ สํคฺรหีษฺยตีติ หิไตษิณา
making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him
10 เตน กฺฤโต โย มโนรถ: สมฺปูรฺณตำ คตวตฺสุ สมเยษุ สาธยิตวฺยสฺตมธิ ส สฺวกียาภิลาษสฺย นิคูฒํ ภาวมฺ อสฺมานฺ ชฺญาปิตวานฺฯ
to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in him.
11 ปูรฺวฺวํ ขฺรีษฺเฏ วิศฺวาสิโน เย วยมฺ อสฺมตฺโต ยตฺ ตสฺย มหิมฺน: ปฺรศํสา ชายเต,
We were also assigned an inheritance in him, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who does all things after the counsel of his will,
12 ตทรฺถํ ย: สฺวกีเยจฺฉายา: มนฺตฺรณาต: สรฺวฺวาณิ สาธยติ ตสฺย มโนรถาทฺ วยํ ขฺรีษฺเฏน ปูรฺวฺวํ นิรูปิตา: สนฺโต'ธิการิโณ ชาตา: ฯ
to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ.
13 ยูยมปิ สตฺยํ วากฺยมฺ อรฺถโต ยุษฺมตฺปริตฺราณสฺย สุสํวาทํ นิศมฺย ตสฺมินฺเนว ขฺรีษฺเฏ วิศฺวสิตวนฺต: ปฺรติชฺญาเตน ปวิเตฺรณาตฺมนา มุทฺรเยวางฺกิตาศฺจฯ
In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation—in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
14 ยตสฺตสฺย มหิมฺน: ปฺรกาศาย เตน กฺรีตานำ โลกานำ มุกฺติ รฺยาวนฺน ภวิษฺยติ ตาวตฺ ส อาตฺมาสฺมากมฺ อธิการิตฺวสฺย สตฺยงฺการสฺย ปณสฺวรูโป ภวติฯ
who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.
15 ปฺรเภา ยีเศา ยุษฺมากํ วิศฺวาส: สรฺเวฺวษุ ปวิตฺรโลเกษุ เปฺรม จาสฺต อิติ วารฺตฺตำ ศฺรุตฺวาหมปิ
For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you and the love which you have toward all the saints,
16 ยุษฺมานธิ นิรนฺตรมฺ อีศฺวรํ ธนฺยํ วทนฺ ปฺรารฺถนาสมเย จ ยุษฺมานฺ สฺมรนฺ วรมิมํ ยาจามิฯ
do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,
17 อสฺมากํ ปฺรโภ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ตาโต ย: ปฺรภาวากร อีศฺวร: ส สฺวกียตตฺตฺวชฺญานาย ยุษฺมภฺยํ ชฺญานชนกมฺ ปฺรกาศิตวากฺยโพธกญฺจาตฺมานํ เทยาตฺฯ
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him,
18 ยุษฺมากํ ชฺญานจกฺษูํษิ จ ทีปฺติยุกฺตานิ กฺฤตฺวา ตสฺยาหฺวานํ กีทฺฤศฺยา ปฺรตฺยาศยา สมฺพลิตํ ปวิตฺรโลกานำ มเธฺย เตน ทตฺโต'ธิการ: กีทฺฤศ: ปฺรภาวนิธิ รฺวิศฺวาสิษุ จาสฺมาสุ ปฺรกาศมานสฺย
having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 ตทียมหาปรากฺรมสฺย มหตฺวํ กีทฺฤคฺ อนุปมํ ตตฺ สรฺวฺวํ ยุษฺมานฺ ชฺญาปยตุฯ
and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might
20 ยต: ส ยสฺยา: ศกฺเต: ปฺรพลตำ ขฺรีษฺเฏ ปฺรกาศยนฺ มฺฤตคณมธฺยาตฺ ตมฺ อุตฺถาปิตวานฺ,
which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,
21 อธิปติตฺวปทํ ศาสนปทํ ปรากฺรโม ราชตฺวญฺเจตินามานิ ยาวนฺติ ปทานีห โลเก ปรโลเก จ วิทฺยนฺเต เตษำ สรฺเวฺวษามฺ อูรฺทฺเธฺว สฺวรฺเค นิชทกฺษิณปารฺเศฺว ตมฺ อุปเวศิตวานฺ, (aiōn g165)
far above all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age (aiōn g165), but also in that which is to come.
22 สรฺวฺวาณิ ตสฺย จรณโยรโธ นิหิตวานฺ ยา สมิติสฺตสฺย ศรีรํ สรฺวฺวตฺร สรฺเวฺวษำ ปูรยิตุ: ปูรกญฺจ ภวติ ตํ ตสฺยา มูรฺทฺธานํ กฺฤตฺวา
He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly,
23 สรฺเวฺวษามฺ อุปรฺยฺยุปริ นิยุกฺตวำศฺจ ไสว ศกฺติรสฺมาสฺวปิ เตน ปฺรกาศฺยเตฯ
which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
