๒ กรินฺถิน: 5
1 อปรมฺ อสฺมากมฺ เอตสฺมินฺ ปารฺถิเว ทูษฺยรูเป เวศฺมนิ ชีรฺเณ สตีศฺวเรณ นิรฺมฺมิตมฺ อกรกฺฤตมฺ อสฺมากมฺ อนนฺตกาลสฺถายิ เวศฺไมกํ สฺวรฺเค วิทฺยต อิติ วยํ ชานีม: ฯ (aiōnios g166)
For we knowe that if our earthly house of this tabernacle be destroyed, we haue a building giuen of God, that is, an house not made with handes, but eternall in the heauens. (aiōnios g166)
2 ยโต เหโตเรตสฺมินฺ เวศฺมนิ ติษฺฐนฺโต วยํ ตํ สฺวรฺคียํ วาสํ ปริธาตุมฺ อากางฺกฺษฺยมาณา นิ: ศฺวสาม: ฯ
For therefore we sighe, desiring to be clothed with our house, which is from heauen.
3 ตถาปีทานีมปิ วยํ เตน น นคฺนา: กินฺตุ ปริหิตวสนา มนฺยามเหฯ
Because that if we be clothed, we shall not be found naked.
4 เอตสฺมินฺ ทูเษฺย ติษฺฐนโต วยํ กฺลิศฺยมานา นิ: ศฺวสาม: , ยโต วยํ วาสํ ตฺยกฺตุมฺ อิจฺฉามสฺตนฺนหิ กินฺตุ ตํ ทฺวิตียํ วาสํ ปริธาตุมฺ อิจฺฉาม: , ยตสฺตถา กฺฤเต ชีวเนน มรฺตฺยํ คฺรสิษฺยเตฯ
For in deede we that are in this tabernacle, sigh and are burdened, because we would not be vnclothed, but would be clothed vpon, that mortalitie might be swalowed vp of life.
5 เอตทรฺถํ วยํ เยน สฺฤษฺฏา: ส อีศฺวร เอว ส จาสฺมภฺยํ สตฺยงฺการสฺย ปณสฺวรูปมฺ อาตฺมานํ ทตฺตวานฺฯ
And he that hath created vs for this thing, is God, who also hath giuen vnto vs the earnest of the Spirit.
6 อเตอว วยํ สรฺวฺวโทตฺสุกา ภวาม: กิญฺจ ศรีเร ยาวทฺ อสฺมาภิ รฺนฺยุษฺยเต ตาวตฺ ปฺรภุโต ทูเร โปฺรษฺยต อิติ ชานีม: ,
Therefore we are alway bolde, though we knowe that whiles we are at home in the bodie, we are absent from the Lord.
7 ยโต วยํ ทฺฤษฺฏิมารฺเค น จราม: กินฺตุ วิศฺวาสมารฺเคฯ
(For we walke by faith, and not by sight.)
8 อปรญฺจ ศรีราทฺ ทูเร ปฺรวสฺตุํ ปฺรโภ: สนฺนิเธา นิวสฺตุญฺจากางฺกฺษฺยมาณา อุตฺสุกา ภวาม: ฯ
Neuerthelesse, we are bolde, and loue rather to remoue out of the body, and to dwell with the Lord.
9 ตสฺมาเทว การณาทฺ วยํ ตสฺย สนฺนิเธา นิวสนฺตสฺตสฺมาทฺ ทูเร ปฺรวสนฺโต วา ตไสฺม โรจิตุํ ยตามเหฯ
Wherefore also we couet, that both dwelling at home, and remouing from home, we may be acceptable to him.
10 ยสฺมาตฺ ศรีราวสฺถายามฺ เอไกเกน กฺฤตานำ กรฺมฺมณำ ศุภาศุภผลปฺราปฺตเย สรฺไวฺวสฺมาภิ: ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย วิจาราสนสมฺมุข อุปสฺถาตวฺยํฯ
For we must all appeare before the iudgement seate of Christ, that euery man may receiue the things which are done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or euill.
11 อเตอว ปฺรโภ รฺภยานกตฺวํ วิชฺญาย วยํ มนุชานฺ อนุนยาม: กิญฺเจศฺวรสฺย โคจเร สปฺรกาศา ภวาม: , ยุษฺมากํ สํเวทโคจเร'ปิ สปฺรกาศา ภวาม อิตฺยาศํสามเหฯ
Knowing therefore that terrour of the Lord, we persuade men, and we are made manifest vnto God, and I trust also that we are made manifest in your consciences.
12 อเนน วยํ ยุษฺมากํ สนฺนิเธา ปุน: สฺวานฺ ปฺรศํสาม อิติ นหิ กินฺตุ เย มโน วินา มุไข: ศฺลาฆนฺเต เตภฺย: ปฺรตฺยุตฺตรทานาย ยูยํ ยถาสฺมาภิ: ศฺลาฆิตุํ ศกฺนุถ ตาทฺฤศมฺ อุปายํ ยุษฺมภฺยํ วิตราม: ฯ
For we prayse not our selues againe vnto you, but giue you an occasion to reioyce of vs, that ye may haue to answere against them, which reioyce in the face, and not in the heart.
13 ยทิ วยํ หตชฺญานา ภวามสฺตรฺหิ ตทฺ อีศฺวรารฺถกํ ยทิ จ สชฺญานา ภวามสฺตรฺหิ ตทฺ ยุษฺมทรฺถกํฯ
For whether we be out of our wit, we are it to God: or whether we be in our right minde, we are it vnto you.
14 วยํ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย เปฺรมฺนา สมากฺฤษฺยามเห ยต: สรฺเวฺวษำ วินิมเยน ยเทฺยโก ชโน'มฺริยต ตรฺหิ เต สรฺเวฺว มฺฤตา อิตฺยาสฺมาภิ รฺพุธฺยเตฯ
For that loue of Christ constraineth vs,
15 อปรญฺจ เย ชีวนฺติ เต ยตฺ สฺวารฺถํ น ชีวนฺติ กินฺตุ เตษำ กฺฤเต โย ชโน มฺฤต: ปุนรุตฺถาปิตศฺจ ตมุทฺทิศฺย ยตฺ ชีวนฺติ ตทรฺถเมว ส สรฺเวฺวษำ กฺฤเต มฺฤตวานฺฯ
Because we thus iudge, that if one be dead for all, then were all dead, and he died for all, that they which liue, shoulde not henceforth liue vnto themselues, but vnto him which died for them, and rose againe.
16 อโต เหโตริต: ปรํ โก'ปฺยสฺมาภิ รฺชาติโต น ปฺรติชฺญาตวฺย: ฯ ยทฺยปิ ปูรฺวฺวํ ขฺรีษฺโฏ ชาติโต'สฺมาภิ: ปฺรติชฺญาตสฺตถาปีทานีํ ชาติต: ปุน รฺน ปฺรติชฺญายเตฯ
Wherefore, henceforth know we no man after the flesh, yea though wee had knowen Christ after the flesh, yet nowe henceforth know we him no more.
17 เกนจิตฺ ขฺรีษฺฏ อาศฺริเต นูตนา สฺฤษฺฏิ รฺภวติ ปุราตนานิ ลุปฺยนฺเต ปศฺย นิขิลานิ นวีนานิ ภวนฺติฯ
Therefore if any man be in Christ, let him be a newe creature. Olde things are passed away: beholde, all things are become newe.
18 สรฺวฺวญฺไจตทฺ อีศฺวรสฺย กรฺมฺม ยโต ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏน ส เอวาสฺมานฺ เสฺวน สารฺทฺธํ สํหิตวานฺ สนฺธานสมฺพนฺธียำ ปริจรฺยฺยามฺ อสฺมาสุ สมรฺปิตวำศฺจฯ
And all things are of God, which hath reconciled vs vnto himselfe by Iesus Christ, and hath giuen vnto vs the ministerie of reconciliation.
19 ยต: อีศฺวร: ขฺรีษฺฏมฺ อธิษฺฐาย ชคโต ชนานามฺ อาคำสิ เตษามฺ ฤณมิว น คณยนฺ เสฺวน สารฺทฺธํ ตานฺ สํหิตวานฺ สนฺธิวารฺตฺตามฺ อสฺมาสุ สมรฺปิตวำศฺจฯ
For God was in Christ, and reconciled the world to himselfe, not imputing their sinnes vnto them, and hath committed to vs the word of reconciliation.
20 อโต วยํ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย วินิมเยน เทาตฺยํ กรฺมฺม สมฺปาทยามเห, อีศฺวรศฺจาสฺมาภิ รฺยุษฺมานฺ ยายาจฺยเต ตต: ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย วินิมเยน วยํ ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺรารฺถยามเห ยูยมีศฺวเรณ สนฺธตฺตฯ
Now then are we ambassadours for Christ: as though God did beseeche you through vs, we pray you in Christes steade, that ye be reconciled to God.
21 ยโต วยํ เตน ยทฺ อีศฺวรียปุณฺยํ ภวามสฺตทรฺถํ ปาเปน สห ยสฺย ชฺญาเตยํ นาสีตฺ ส เอว เตนาสฺมากํ วินิมเยน ปาป: กฺฤต: ฯ
For he hath made him to be sinne for vs, which knewe no sinne, that we should be made the righteousnesse of God in him.
