๑ กรินฺถิน: 15
1 เห ภฺราตร: , ย: สุสํวาโท มยา ยุษฺมตฺสมีเป นิเวทิโต ยูยญฺจ ยํ คฺฤหีตวนฺต อาศฺริตวนฺตศฺจ ตํ ปุน รฺยุษฺมานฺ วิชฺญาปยามิฯ
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also all of you have received, and wherein all of you stand;
2 ยุษฺมากํ วิศฺวาโส ยทิ วิตโถ น ภเวตฺ ตรฺหิ สุสํวาทยุกฺตานิ มม วากฺยานิ สฺมรตำ ยุษฺมากํ เตน สุสํวาเทน ปริตฺราณํ ชายเตฯ
By which also all of you are saved, if all of you keep in memory what (logos) I preached unto you, unless all of you have believed in vain.
3 ยโต'หํ ยทฺ ยตฺ ชฺญาปิตสฺตทนุสาราตฺ ยุษฺมาสุ มุขฺยำ ยำ ศิกฺษำ สมารฺปยํ เสยํ, ศาสฺตฺรานุสาราตฺ ขฺรีษฺโฏ'สฺมากํ ปาปโมจนารฺถํ ปฺราณานฺ ตฺยกฺตวานฺ,
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 ศฺมศาเน สฺถาปิตศฺจ ตฺฤตียทิเน ศาสฺตฺรานุสาราตฺ ปุนรุตฺถาปิต: ฯ
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5 ส จาเคฺร ไกไผ ตต: ปรํ ทฺวาทศศิเษฺยโภฺย ทรฺศนํ ทตฺตวานฺฯ
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6 ตต: ปรํ ปญฺจศตาธิกสํขฺยเกโภฺย ภฺราตฺฤโภฺย ยุคปทฺ ทรฺศนํ ทตฺตวานฺ เตษำ เกจิตฺ มหานิทฺรำ คตา พหุตราศฺจาทฺยาปิ วรฺตฺตนฺเตฯ
After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7 ตทนนฺตรํ ยากูพาย ตตฺปศฺจาตฺ สรฺเวฺวภฺย: เปฺรริเตโภฺย ทรฺศนํ ทตฺตวานฺฯ
After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8 สรฺวฺวเศเษ'กาลชาตตุโลฺย โย'หํ, โส'หมปิ ตสฺย ทรฺศนํ ปฺราปฺตวานฺฯ
And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
9 อีศฺวรสฺย สมิตึ ปฺรติ เทาราตฺมฺยาจรณาทฺ อหํ เปฺรริตนาม ธรฺตฺตุมฺ อโยคฺยสฺตสฺมาตฺ เปฺรริตานำ มเธฺย กฺษุทฺรตมศฺจาสฺมิฯ
For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10 ยาทฺฤโศ'สฺมิ ตาทฺฤศ อีศฺวรสฺยานุคฺรเหไณวาสฺมิ; อปรํ มำ ปฺรติ ตสฺยานุคฺรโห นิษฺผโล นาภวตฺ, อเนฺยภฺย: สรฺเวฺวโภฺย มยาธิก: ศฺรม: กฺฤต: , กินฺตุ ส มยา กฺฤตสฺตนฺนหิ มตฺสหการิเณศฺวรสฺยานุคฺรเหไณวฯ
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
11 อเตอว มยา ภเวตฺ ไต รฺวา ภเวตฺ อสฺมาภิสฺตาทฺฤศี วารฺตฺตา โฆษฺยเต ไสว จ ยุษฺมาภิ รฺวิศฺวาเสน คฺฤหีตาฯ
Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so all of you believed.
12 มฺฤตฺยุทศาต: ขฺรีษฺฏ อุตฺถาปิต อิติ วารฺตฺตา ยทิ ตมธิ โฆษฺยเต ตรฺหิ มฺฤตโลกานามฺ อุตฺถิติ รฺนาสฺตีติ วาคฺ ยุษฺมากํ มเธฺย ไกศฺจิตฺ กุต: กถฺยเต?
Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 มฺฤตานามฺ อุตฺถิติ รฺยทิ น ภเวตฺ ตรฺหิ ขฺรีษฺโฏ'ปิ โนตฺถาปิต:
But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14 ขฺรีษฺฏศฺจ ยทฺยนุตฺถาปิต: สฺยาตฺ ตรฺหฺยสฺมากํ โฆษณํ วิตถํ ยุษฺมากํ วิศฺวาโส'ปิ วิตถ: ฯ
And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15 วยญฺเจศฺวรสฺย มฺฤษาสากฺษิโณ ภวาม: , ยต: ขฺรีษฺฏ เสฺตโนตฺถาปิต: อิติ สากฺษฺยมฺ อสฺมาภิรีศฺวรมธิ ทตฺตํ กินฺตุ มฺฤตานามุตฺถิติ รฺยทิ น ภเวตฺ ตรฺหิ ส เตน โนตฺถาปิต: ฯ
Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16 ยโต มฺฤตานามุตฺถิติ รฺยติ น ภเวตฺ ตรฺหิ ขฺรีษฺโฏ'ปฺยุตฺถาปิตตฺวํ น คต: ฯ
For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ยทฺยนุตฺถาปิต: สฺยาตฺ ตรฺหิ ยุษฺมากํ วิศฺวาโส วิตถ: , ยูยมฺ อทฺยาปิ สฺวปาเปษุ มคฺนาสฺติษฺฐถฯ
And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; all of you are yet in your sins.
18 อปรํ ขฺรีษฺฏาศฺริตา เย มานวา มหานิทฺรำ คตาเสฺต'ปิ นาศํ คตา: ฯ
Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19 ขฺรีษฺโฏ ยทิ เกวลมิหโลเก 'สฺมากํ ปฺรตฺยาศาภูมิ: สฺยาตฺ ตรฺหิ สรฺวฺวมรฺเตฺยโภฺย วยเมว ทุรฺภาคฺยา: ฯ
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20 อิทานีํ ขฺรีษฺโฏ มฺฤตฺยุทศาต อุตฺถาปิโต มหานิทฺราคตานำ มเธฺย ปฺรถมผลสฺวรูโป ชาตศฺจฯ
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first-fruits of them that slept.
21 ยโต ยทฺวตฺ มานุษทฺวารา มฺฤตฺยุ: ปฺราทุรฺภูตสฺตทฺวตฺ มานุษทฺวารา มฺฤตานำ ปุนรุตฺถิติรปิ ปฺรทุรฺภูตาฯ
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 อาทมา ยถา สรฺเวฺว มรณาธีนา ชาตาสฺตถา ขฺรีษฺเฏน สรฺเวฺว ชีวยิษฺยนฺเตฯ
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 กินฺเตฺวไกเกน ชเนน นิเช นิเช ปรฺยฺยาย อุตฺถาตวฺยํ ปฺรถมต: ปฺรถมชาตผลสฺวรูเปน ขฺรีษฺเฏน, ทฺวิตียตสฺตสฺยาคมนสมเย ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย โลไก: ฯ
But every man in his own order: Christ the first-fruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 ตต: ปรมฺ อนฺโต ภวิษฺยติ ตทานีํ ส สรฺวฺวํ ศาสนมฺ อธิปติตฺวํ ปรากฺรมญฺจ ลุปฺตฺวา สฺวปิตรีศฺวเร ราชตฺวํ สมรฺปยิษฺยติฯ
Then comes the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 ยต: ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ริปว: สรฺเวฺว ยาวตฺ เตน สฺวปาทโยรโธ น นิปาตยิษฺยนฺเต ตาวตฺ เตไนว ราชตฺวํ กรฺตฺตวฺยํฯ
For he must reign, till he has put all enemies under his feet.
26 เตน วิเชตโวฺย ย: เศษริปุ: ส มฺฤตฺยุเรวฯ
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 ลิขิตมาเสฺต สรฺวฺวาณิ ตสฺย ปาทโย รฺวศีกฺฤตานิฯ กินฺตุ สรฺวฺวาเณฺยว ตสฺย วศีกฺฤตานีตฺยุกฺเต สติ สรฺวฺวาณิ เยน ตสฺย วศีกฺฤตานิ ส สฺวยํ ตสฺย วศีภูโต น ชาต อิติ วฺยกฺตํฯ
For he has put all things under his feet. But when he says all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 สรฺเวฺวษุ ตสฺย วศีภูเตษุ สรฺวฺวาณิ เยน ปุตฺรสฺย วศีกฺฤตานิ สฺวยํ ปุโตฺร'ปิ ตสฺย วศีภูโต ภวิษฺยติ ตต อีศฺวร: สรฺเวฺวษุ สรฺวฺว เอว ภวิษฺยติฯ
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
29 อปรํ ปเรตโลกานำ วินิมเยน เย มชฺชฺยนฺเต ไต: กึ ลปฺสฺยเต? เยษำ ปเรตโลกานามฺ อุตฺถิติ: เกนาปิ ปฺรกาเรณ น ภวิษฺยติ เตษำ วินิมเยน กุโต มชฺชนมปิ ไตรงฺคีกฺริยเต?
Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
30 วยมปิ กุต: ปฺรติทณฺฑํ ปฺราณภีติมฺ องฺคีกุรฺมฺมเห?
And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
31 อสฺมตฺปฺรภุนา ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏน ยุษฺมตฺโต มม ยา ศฺลาฆาเสฺต ตสฺยา: ศปถํ กฺฤตฺวา กถยามิ ทิเน ทิเน'หํ มฺฤตฺยุํ คจฺฉามิฯ
I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our LORD, I die daily.
32 อิผิษนคเร วนฺยปศุภิ: สารฺทฺธํ ยทิ เลากิกภาวาตฺ มยา ยุทฺธํ กฺฤตํ ตรฺหิ เตน มม โก ลาภ: ? มฺฤตานามฺ อุตฺถิติ รฺยทิ น ภเวตฺ ตรฺหิ, กุรฺมฺโม โภชนปาเน'ทฺย ศฺวสฺตุ มฺฤตฺยุ รฺภวิษฺยติฯ
If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantages it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; in order to morrow we die.
33 อิตฺยเนน ธรฺมฺมาตฺ มา ภฺรํศธฺวํฯ กุสํสรฺเคณ โลกานำ สทาจาโร วินศฺยติฯ
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34 ยูยํ ยโถจิตํ สไจตนฺยาสฺติษฺฐต, ปาปํ มา กุรุธฺวํ, ยโต ยุษฺมากํ มธฺย อีศฺวรียชฺญานหีนา: เก'ปิ วิทฺยนฺเต ยุษฺมากํ ตฺรปาไย มเยทํ คทฺยเตฯ
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35 อปรํ มฺฤตโลกา: กถมฺ อุตฺถาสฺยนฺติ? กีทฺฤศํ วา ศรีรํ ลพฺธฺวา ปุนเรษฺยนฺตีติ วากฺยํ กศฺจิตฺ ปฺรกฺษฺยติฯ
But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 เห อชฺญ ตฺวยา ยทฺ พีชมฺ อุปฺยเต ตทฺ ยทิ น มฺริเยต ตรฺหิ น ชีวยิษฺยเตฯ
You fool, that which you sow is not quickened, except it die:
37 ยยา มูรฺตฺตฺยา นิรฺคนฺตวฺยํ สา ตฺวยา โนปฺยเต กินฺตุ ศุษฺกํ พีชเมว; ตจฺจ โคธูมาทีนำ กิมปิ พีชํ ภวิตุํ ศกฺโนติฯ
And that which you sow, you sow not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 อีศฺวเรเณว ยถาภิลาษํ ตไสฺม มูรฺตฺติ รฺทียเต, เอไกกไสฺม พีชาย สฺวา สฺวา มูรฺตฺติเรว ทียเตฯ
But God gives it a body as it has pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 สรฺวฺวาณิ ปลลานิ ไนกวิธานิ สนฺติ, มนุษฺยปศุปกฺษิมตฺสฺยาทีนำ ภินฺนรูปาณิ ปลลานิ สนฺติฯ
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 อปรํ สฺวรฺคียา มูรฺตฺตย: ปารฺถิวา มูรฺตฺตยศฺจ วิทฺยนฺเต กินฺตุ สฺวรฺคียานามฺ เอกรูปํ เตช: ปารฺถิวานาญฺจ ตทนฺยรูปํ เตโช'สฺติฯ
There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 สูรฺยฺยสฺย เตช เอกวิธํ จนฺทฺรสฺย เตชสฺตทนฺยวิธํ ตาราณาญฺจ เตโช'นฺยวิธํ, ตาราณำ มเธฺย'ปิ เตชสสฺตารตมฺยํ วิทฺยเตฯ
There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differs from another star in glory.
42 ตตฺร ลิขิตมาเสฺต ยถา, ‘อาทิปุรุษ อาทมฺ ชีวตฺปฺราณี พภูว,’ กินฺตฺวนฺติม อาทมฺ (ขฺรีษฺโฏ) ชีวนทายก อาตฺมา พภูวฯ
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 ยทฺ อุปฺยเต ตตฺ ตุจฺฉํ ยจฺโจตฺถาสฺยติ ตทฺ เคารวานฺวิตํ; ยทฺ อุปฺยเต ตนฺนิรฺพฺพลํ ยจฺโจตฺถาสฺยติ ตตฺ ศกฺติยุกฺตํฯ
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 ยตฺ ศรีรมฺ อุปฺยเต ตตฺ ปฺราณานำ สทฺม, ยจฺจ ศรีรมฺ อุตฺถาสฺยติ ตทฺ อาตฺมน: สทฺมฯ ปฺราณสทฺมสฺวรูปํ ศรีรํ วิทฺยเต, อาตฺมสทฺมสฺวรูปมปิ ศรีรํ วิทฺยเตฯ
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 ตตฺร ลิขิตมาเสฺต ยถา, อาทิปุรุษ อาทมฺ ชีวตฺปฺราณี พภูว, กินฺตฺวนฺติม อาทมฺ (ขฺรีษฺโฏ) ชีวนทายก อาตฺมา พภูวฯ
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a life-giving spirit. (pneuma)
46 อาตฺมสทฺม น ปฺรถมํ กินฺตุ ปฺราณสทฺไมว ตตฺปศฺจาทฺ อาตฺมสทฺมฯ
Nevertheless that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 อาทฺย: ปุรุเษ มฺฤท อุตฺปนฺนตฺวาตฺ มฺฤณฺมโย ทฺวิตียศฺจ ปุรุษ: สฺวรฺคาทฺ อาคต: ปฺรภุ: ฯ
The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 มฺฤณฺมโย ยาทฺฤศ อาสีตฺ มฺฤณฺมยา: สรฺเวฺว ตาทฺฤศา ภวนฺติ สฺวรฺคียศฺจ ยาทฺฤโศ'สฺติ สฺวรฺคียา: สรฺเวฺว ตาทฺฤศา ภวนฺติฯ
As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 มฺฤณฺมยสฺย รูปํ ยทฺวทฺ อสฺมาภิ รฺธาริตํ ตทฺวตฺ สฺวรฺคียสฺย รูปมปิ ธารยิษฺยเตฯ
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 เห ภฺราตร: , ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺรติ วฺยาหรามิ, อีศฺวรสฺย ราเชฺย รกฺตมำสโยรธิกาโร ภวิตุํ น ศกฺโนติ, อกฺษยเตฺว จ กฺษยสฺยาธิกาโร น ภวิษฺยติฯ
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
51 ปศฺยตาหํ ยุษฺมภฺยํ นิคูฒำ กถำ นิเวทยามิฯ
Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 สรฺไวฺวรสฺมาภิ รฺมหานิทฺรา น คมิษฺยเต กินฺตฺวนฺติมทิเน ตูรฺยฺยำ วาทิตายามฺ เอกสฺมินฺ วิปเล นิมิไษกมเธฺย สรฺไวฺว รูปานฺตรํ คมิษฺยเต, ยตสฺตูรี วาทิษฺยเต, มฺฤตโลกาศฺจากฺษยีภูตา อุตฺถาสฺยนฺติ วยญฺจ รูปานฺตรํ คมิษฺยาม: ฯ
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 ยต: กฺษยณีเยไนเตน ศรีเรณากฺษยตฺวํ ปริหิตวฺยํ, มรณาธีเนไนเตน เทเหน จามรตฺวํ ปริหิตวฺยํฯ
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 เอตสฺมินฺ กฺษยณีเย ศรีเร 'กฺษยตฺวํ คเต, เอตสฺมนฺ มรณาธีเน เทเห จามรตฺวํ คเต ศาสฺเตฺร ลิขิตํ วจนมิทํ เสตฺสฺยติ, ยถา, ชเยน คฺรสฺยเต มฺฤตฺยุ: ฯ
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying (logos) that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? (Hadēs g86)
56 มฺฤโตฺย: กณฺฏกํ ปาปเมว ปาปสฺย จ พลํ วฺยวสฺถาฯ
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 อีศฺวรศฺจ ธโนฺย ภวตุ ยต: โส'สฺมากํ ปฺรภุนา ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏนาสฺมานฺ ชยยุกฺตานฺ วิธาปยติฯ
But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 อโต เห มม ปฺริยภฺราตร: ; ยูยํ สุสฺถิรา นิศฺจลาศฺจ ภวต ปฺรโภ: เสวายำ ยุษฺมากํ ปริศฺรโม นิษฺผโล น ภวิษฺยตีติ ชฺญาตฺวา ปฺรโภ: การฺเยฺย สทา ตตฺปรา ภวตฯ
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be all of you steadfast, immoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as all of you know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
