ப்ரகாஸி²தம்’ 3
1 அபரம்’ ஸார்த்³தி³ஸ்த²ஸமிதே ர்தூ³தம்’ ப்ரதீத³ம்’ லிக², யோ ஜந ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸப்தாத்மந: ஸப்த தாராஸ்²ச தா⁴ரயதி ஸ ஏவ பா⁴ஷதே, தவ க்ரியா மம கோ³சரா: , த்வம்’ ஜீவதா³க்²யோ (அ)ஸி ததா²பி ம்ரு’தோ (அ)ஸி தத³பி ஜாநாமி|
And to the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things says he that has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know your works, that you have a name that you live, and are dead.
2 ப்ரபு³த்³தோ⁴ ப⁴வ, அவஸி²ஷ்டம்’ யத்³யத் ம்ரு’தகல்பம்’ தத³பி ஸப³லீகுரு யத ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷாத் தவ கர்ம்மாணி ந ஸித்³தா⁴நீதி ப்ரமாணம்’ மயா ப்ராப்தம்’|
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found your works perfect before God.
3 அத: கீத்³ரு’ஸீ²ம்’ ஸி²க்ஷாம்’ லப்³த⁴வாந் ஸ்²ருதவாஸ்²சாஸி தத் ஸ்மரந் தாம்’ பாலய ஸ்வமந: பரிவர்த்தய ச| சேத் ப்ரபு³த்³தோ⁴ ந ப⁴வேஸ்தர்ஹ்யஹம்’ ஸ்தேந இவ தவ ஸமீபம் உபஸ்தா²ஸ்யாமி கிஞ்ச கஸ்மிந் த³ண்டே³ உபஸ்தா²ஸ்யாமி தந்ந ஜ்ஞாஸ்யஸி|
Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come on you.
4 ததா²பி யை: ஸ்வவாஸாம்’ஸி ந கலங்கிதாநி தாத்³ரு’ஸா²: கதிபயலோகா: ஸார்த்³தி³நக³ரே (அ)பி தவ வித்³யந்தே தே ஸு²ப்⁴ரபரிச்ச²தை³ ர்மம ஸங்கே³ க³மநாக³மநே கரிஷ்யந்தி யதஸ்தே யோக்³யா: |
You have a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
5 யோ ஜநோ ஜயதி ஸ ஸு²ப்⁴ரபரிச்ச²த³ம்’ பரிதா⁴பயிஷ்யந்தே, அஹஞ்ச ஜீவநக்³ரந்தா²த் தஸ்ய நாம நாந்தர்தா⁴பயிஷ்யாமி கிந்து மத்பிது: ஸாக்ஷாத் தஸ்ய தூ³தாநாம்’ ஸாக்ஷாச்ச தஸ்ய நாம ஸ்வீகரிஷ்யாமி|
He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6 யஸ்ய ஸ்²ரோத்ரம்’ வித்³யதே ஸ ஸமிதீ: ப்ரத்யுச்யமாநாம் ஆத்மந: கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ரு’ணோது|
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
7 அபரஞ்ச பி²லாதி³ல்பி²யாஸ்த²ஸமிதே ர்தூ³தம்’ ப்ரதீத³ம்’ லிக², ய: பவித்ர: ஸத்யமயஸ்²சாஸ்தி தா³யூத³: குஞ்ஜிகாம்’ தா⁴ரயதி ச யேந மோசிதே (அ)பர: கோ(அ)பி ந ருணத்³தி⁴ ருத்³தே⁴ சாபர: கோ(அ)பி ந மோசயதி ஸ ஏவ பா⁴ஷதே|
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things says he that is holy, he that is true, he that has the key of David, he that opens, and no man shuts; and shuts, and no man opens;
8 தவ க்ரியா மம கோ³சரா: பஸ்²ய தவ ஸமீபே (அ)ஹம்’ முக்தம்’ த்³வாரம்’ ஸ்தா²பிதவாந் தத் கேநாபி ரோத்³து⁴ம்’ ந ஸ²க்யதே யதஸ்தவால்பம்’ ப³லமாஸ்தே ததா²பி த்வம்’ மம வாக்யம்’ பாலிதவாந் மம நாம்நோ (அ)ஸ்வீகாரம்’ ந க்ரு’தவாம்’ஸ்²ச|
I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have a little strength, and have kept my word, and have not denied my name.
9 பஸ்²ய யிஹூதீ³யா ந ஸந்தோ யே ம்ரு’ஷாவாதி³ந: ஸ்வாந் யிஹூதீ³யாந் வத³ந்தி தேஷாம்’ ஸ²யதாநஸமாஜீயாநாம்’ காம்’ஸ்²சித்³ அஹம் ஆநேஷ்யாமி பஸ்²ய தே மதா³ஜ்ஞாத ஆக³த்ய தவ சரணயோ: ப்ரணம்’ஸ்யந்தி த்வஞ்ச மம ப்ரியோ (அ)ஸீதி ஜ்ஞாஸ்யந்தி|
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
10 த்வம்’ மம ஸஹிஷ்ணுதாஸூசகம்’ வாக்யம்’ ரக்ஷிதவாநஸி தத்காரணாத் ப்ரு’தி²வீநிவாஸிநாம்’ பரீக்ஷார்த²ம்’ க்ரு’த்ஸ்நம்’ ஜக³த்³ யேநாகா³மிபரீக்ஷாதி³நேநாக்ரமிஷ்யதே தஸ்மாத்³ அஹமபி த்வாம்’ ரக்ஷிஷ்யாமி|
Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come on all the world, to try them that dwell on the earth.
11 பஸ்²ய மயா ஸீ²க்⁴ரம் ஆக³ந்தவ்யம்’ தவ யத³ஸ்தி தத் தா⁴ரய கோ (அ)பி தவ கிரீடம்’ நாபஹரது|
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man take your crown.
12 யோ ஜநோ ஜயதி தமஹம்’ மதீ³யேஸ்²வரஸ்ய மந்தி³ரே ஸ்தம்ப⁴ம்’ க்ரு’த்வா ஸ்தா²பயிஸ்யாமி ஸ புந ர்ந நிர்க³மிஷ்யதி| அபரஞ்ச தஸ்மிந் மதீ³யேஸ்²வரஸ்ய நாம மதீ³யேஸ்²வரஸ்ய புர்ய்யா அபி நாம அர்த²தோ யா நவீநா யிரூஸா²நம் புரீ ஸ்வர்கா³த் மதீ³யேஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸமீபாத்³ அவரோக்ஷ்யதி தஸ்யா நாம மமாபி நூதநம்’ நாம லேகி²ஷ்யாமி|
Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write on him my new name.
13 யஸ்ய ஸ்²ரோத்ரம்’ வித்³யதே ஸ ஸமிதீ: ப்ரத்யுச்யமாநாம் ஆத்மந: கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ரு’ணோது|
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
14 அபரஞ்ச லாயதி³கேயாஸ்த²ஸமிதே ர்தூ³தம்’ ப்ரதீத³ம்’ லிக², ய ஆமேந் அர்த²தோ விஸ்²வாஸ்ய: ஸத்யமயஸ்²ச ஸாக்ஷீ, ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸ்ரு’ஷ்டேராதி³ஸ்²சாஸ்தி ஸ ஏவ பா⁴ஷதே|
And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 தவ க்ரியா மம கோ³சரா: த்வம்’ ஸீ²தோ நாஸி தப்தோ (அ)பி நாஸீதி ஜாநாமி|
I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot.
16 தவ ஸீ²தத்வம்’ தப்தத்வம்’ வா வரம்’ ப⁴வேத், ஸீ²தோ ந பூ⁴த்வா தப்தோ (அ)பி ந பூ⁴த்வா த்வமேவம்பூ⁴த: கதூ³ஷ்ணோ (அ)ஸி தத்காரணாத்³ அஹம்’ ஸ்வமுகா²த் த்வாம் உத்³வமிஷ்யாமி|
So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.
17 அஹம்’ த⁴நீ ஸம்ரு’த்³த⁴ஸ்²சாஸ்மி மம கஸ்யாப்யபா⁴வோ ந ப⁴வதீதி த்வம்’ வத³ஸி கிந்து த்வமேவ து³: கா²ர்த்தோ து³ர்க³தோ த³ரித்³ரோ (அ)ந்தோ⁴ நக்³நஸ்²சாஸி தத் த்வயா நாவக³ம்யதே|
Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 த்வம்’ யத்³ த⁴நீ ப⁴வேஸ்தத³ர்த²ம்’ மத்தோ வஹ்நௌ தாபிதம்’ ஸுவர்ணம்’ க்ரீணீஹி நக்³நத்வாத் தவ லஜ்ஜா யந்ந ப்ரகாஸே²த தத³ர்த²ம்’ பரிதா⁴நாய மத்த: ஸு²ப்⁴ரவாஸாம்’ஸி க்ரீணீஹி யச்ச தவ த்³ரு’ஷ்டி: ப்ரஸந்நா ப⁴வேத் தத³ர்த²ம்’ சக்ஷுர்லேபநாயாஞ்ஜநம்’ மத்த: க்ரீணீஹீதி மம மந்த்ரணா|
I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
19 யேஷ்வஹம்’ ப்ரீயே தாந் ஸர்வ்வாந் ப⁴ர்த்ஸயாமி ஸா²ஸ்மி ச, அதஸ்த்வம் உத்³யமம்’ விதா⁴ய மந: பரிவர்த்தய|
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 பஸ்²யாஹம்’ த்³வாரி திஷ்ட²ந் தத்³ ஆஹந்மி யதி³ கஸ்²சித் மம ரவம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா த்³வாரம்’ மோசயதி தர்ஹ்யஹம்’ தஸ்ய ஸந்நிதி⁴ம்’ ப்ரவிஸ்²ய தேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ போ⁴க்ஷ்யே ஸோ (அ)பி மயா ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ போ⁴க்ஷ்யதே|
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 அபரமஹம்’ யதா² ஜிதவாந் மம பித்ரா ச ஸஹ தஸ்ய ஸிம்’ஹாஸந உபவிஷ்டஸ்²சாஸ்மி, ததா² யோ ஜநோ ஜயதி தமஹம்’ மயா ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ மத்ஸிம்’ஹாஸந உபவேஸ²யிஷ்யாமி|
To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 யஸ்ய ஸ்²ரோத்ரம்’ வித்³யதே ஸ ஸமிதீ: ப்ரத்யுச்யமாநம் ஆத்மந: கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ரு’ணோது|
