1 இப்³ராஹீம: ஸந்தாநோ தா³யூத்³ தஸ்ய ஸந்தாநோ யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்தஸ்ய பூர்வ்வபுருஷவம்’ஸ²ஸ்²ரேணீ|
This is the boke of the generacion of Iesus Christ the sonne of Dauid the sonne also of Abraham.
2 இப்³ராஹீம: புத்ர இஸ்ஹாக் தஸ்ய புத்ரோ யாகூப்³ தஸ்ய புத்ரோ யிஹூதா³ஸ்தஸ்ய ப்⁴ராதரஸ்²ச|
Abraham begat Isaac: Isaac begat Iacob: Iacob begat Iudas and his brethren:
3 தஸ்மாத்³ யிஹூதா³தஸ்தாமரோ க³ர்பே⁴ பேரஸ்ஸேரஹௌ ஜஜ்ஞாதே, தஸ்ய பேரஸ: புத்ரோ ஹிஷ்ரோண் தஸ்ய புத்ரோ (அ)ராம்|
Iudas begat Phares and zaram of Thamar: Phares begat Hesrom: Hesrom begat Aram:
4 தஸ்ய புத்ரோ (அ)ம்மீநாத³ப்³ தஸ்ய புத்ரோ நஹஸோ²ந் தஸ்ய புத்ர: ஸல்மோந்|
Aram begat Aminadab: Aminadab begat Naasson: Naasson begat Salmon:
5 தஸ்மாத்³ ராஹபோ³ க³ர்பே⁴ போ³யம் ஜஜ்ஞே, தஸ்மாத்³ ரூதோ க³ர்பே⁴ ஓபே³த்³ ஜஜ்ஞே, தஸ்ய புத்ரோ யிஸ²ய: |
Salmon begat Boos of Rahab: Boos begat Obed of Ruth: Obed begat Iesse:
6 தஸ்ய புத்ரோ தா³யூத்³ ராஜ: தஸ்மாத்³ ம்ரு’தோரியஸ்ய ஜாயாயாம்’ ஸுலேமாந் ஜஜ்ஞே|
Iesse begat Dauid the kynge: Dauid the kynge begat Salomon of her that was the wyfe of Vry:
7 தஸ்ய புத்ரோ ரிஹபி³யாம், தஸ்ய புத்ரோ(அ)பி³ய: , தஸ்ய புத்ர ஆஸா: |
Salomon begat Roboam: Roboam begat Abia: Abia begat Asa:
8 தஸ்ய ஸுதோ யிஹோஸா²ப²ட் தஸ்ய ஸுதோ யிஹோராம தஸ்ய ஸுத உஷிய: |
Asa begat Iosaphat: Iosaphat begat Ioram: Ioram begat Osias:
9 தஸ்ய ஸுதோ யோத²ம் தஸ்ய ஸுத ஆஹம் தஸ்ய ஸுதோ ஹிஷ்கிய: |
Osias begat Ioatham: Ioatham begat Achas: Achas begat Ezechias:
10 தஸ்ய ஸுதோ மிநஸி²: , தஸ்ய ஸுத ஆமோந் தஸ்ய ஸுதோ யோஸி²ய: |
Ezechias begat Manasses: Manasses begat Amon: Amon begat Iosias:
11 பா³பி³ல்நக³ரே ப்ரவஸநாத் பூர்வ்வம்’ ஸ யோஸி²யோ யிக²நியம்’ தஸ்ய ப்⁴ராத்ரும்’’ஸ்²ச ஜநயாமாஸ|
Iosias begat Iechonias and his brethren aboute ye tyme they were caryed awaye to Babylon.
12 ததோ பா³பி³லி ப்ரவஸநகாலே யிக²நிய: ஸ²ல்தீயேலம்’ ஜநயாமாஸ, தஸ்ய ஸுத: ஸிருப்³பா³வில்|
And after they were brought to Babylon Iechonias begat Salathiel: Salathiel begat Zorobabel:
13 தஸ்ய ஸுதோ (அ)போ³ஹுத்³ தஸ்ய ஸுத இலீயாகீம் தஸ்ய ஸுதோ(அ)ஸோர்|
Zorobabel begat Abiud: Abiud begat Eliachim: Eliachim begat Azor:
14 அஸோர: ஸுத: ஸாதோ³க் தஸ்ய ஸுத ஆகீ²ம் தஸ்ய ஸுத இலீஹூத்³|
Azor begat Sadoc: Sadoc begat Achin: Achin begat Eliud:
15 தஸ்ய ஸுத இலியாஸர் தஸ்ய ஸுதோ மத்தந்|
Eliud begat Eleasar: Eleasar begat Matthan: Matthan begat Iacob:
16 தஸ்ய ஸுதோ யாகூப்³ தஸ்ய ஸுதோ யூஷப்² தஸ்ய ஜாயா மரியம்; தஸ்ய க³ர்பே⁴ யீஸு²ரஜநி, தமேவ க்²ரீஷ்டம் (அர்தா²த்³ அபி⁴ஷிக்தம்’) வத³ந்தி|
Iacob begat Ioseph the husbande of Mary of which was boren that Iesus that is called Christ.
17 இத்த²ம் இப்³ராஹீமோ தா³யூத³ம்’ யாவத் ஸாகல்யேந சதுர்த³ஸ²புருஷா: ; ஆ தா³யூத³: காலாத்³ பா³பி³லி ப்ரவஸநகாலம்’ யாவத் சதுர்த³ஸ²புருஷா ப⁴வந்தி| பா³பி³லி ப்ரவாஸநகாலாத் க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய காலம்’ யாவத் சதுர்த³ஸ²புருஷா ப⁴வந்தி|
All the generacions from Abraham to David are fowretene generacios. And fro David vnto the captivite of Babylon are fowretene generacions. And from the captivite of Babylon vnto Christ are also fowrtene generacios.
18 யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ஜந்ம கத்²த²தே| மரியம் நாமிகா கந்யா யூஷபே² வாக்³த³த்தாஸீத், ததா³ தயோ: ஸங்க³மாத் ப்ராக் ஸா கந்யா பவித்ரேணாத்மநா க³ர்ப⁴வதீ ப³பூ⁴வ|
The byrthe of Iesus Christ was on thys wyse. When hys mother Mary was betrouthed to Ioseph before they came to dwell to gedder she was foude with chylde by ye holy goost.
19 தத்ர தஸ்யா: பதி ர்யூஷப்² ஸௌஜந்யாத் தஸ்யா: கலங்க³ம்’ ப்ரகாஸ²யிதும் அநிச்ச²ந் கோ³பநேநே தாம்’ பாரித்யக்தும்’ மநஸ்²சக்ரே|
The Ioseph her husbande beinge a perfect ma and loth to make an ensample of hir was mynded to put her awaye secretely.
20 ஸ ததை²வ பா⁴வயதி, ததா³நீம்’ பரமேஸ்²வரஸ்ய தூ³த: ஸ்வப்நே தம்’ த³ர்ஸ²நம்’ த³த்த்வா வ்யாஜஹார, ஹே தா³யூத³: ஸந்தாந யூஷப்² த்வம்’ நிஜாம்’ ஜாயாம்’ மரியமம் ஆதா³தும்’ மா பை⁴ஷீ: |
Whill he thus thought behold ye angell of ye Lorde appered vnto him in a dreame saynge: Ioseph ye sonne of David feare not to take vnto ye Mary thy wyfe. For that which is coceaved in her is of the holy goost.
21 யதஸ்தஸ்யா க³ர்ப⁴: பவித்ராதா³த்மநோ(அ)ப⁴வத், ஸா ச புத்ரம்’ ப்ரஸவிஷ்யதே, ததா³ த்வம்’ தஸ்ய நாம யீஸு²ம் (அர்தா²த் த்ராதாரம்’) கரீஷ்யஸே, யஸ்மாத் ஸ நிஜமநுஜாந் தேஷாம்’ கலுஷேப்⁴ய உத்³த⁴ரிஷ்யதி|
She shall brynge forthe a sonne and thou shalt call his name Iesus. For he shall save his peple from their synnes.
22 இத்த²ம்’ ஸதி, பஸ்²ய க³ர்ப⁴வதீ கந்யா தநயம்’ ப்ரஸவிஷ்யதே| இம்மாநூயேல் ததீ³யஞ்ச நாமதே⁴யம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|| இம்மாநூயேல் அஸ்மாகம்’ ஸங்கீ³ஸ்²வரஇத்யர்த²: |
All this was done to fulfill yt which was spoken of the Lorde by the Prophet saynge:
23 இதி யத்³ வசநம்’ புர்வ்வம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வக்த்ரா ஈஸ்²வர: கதா²யாமாஸ, தத் ததா³நீம்’ ஸித்³த⁴மப⁴வத்|
Beholde a mayde shall be with chylde and shall brynge forthe a sonne and they shall call his name Emanuel which is by interpretacion God with vs.
24 அநந்தரம்’ யூஷப்² நித்³ராதோ ஜாக³ரித உத்தா²ய பரமேஸ்²வரீயதூ³தஸ்ய நிதே³ஸா²நுஸாரேண நிஜாம்’ ஜாயாம்’ ஜக்³ராஹ,
And Ioseph assone as he awoke out of slepe did as the angell of the Lorde bade hym and toke hys wyfe vnto hym
25 கிந்து யாவத் ஸா நிஜம்’ ப்ரத²மஸுதம்’ அ ஸுஷுவே, தாவத் தாம்’ நோபாக³ச்ச²த், தத: ஸுதஸ்ய நாம யீஸு²ம்’ சக்ரே|
and knewe her not tyll she had brought forth hir fyrst sonne and called hys name Iesus.
