மார்க: 15
1 அத² ப்ரபா⁴தே ஸதி ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகா: ப்ராஞ்ச உபாத்⁴யாயா: ஸர்வ்வே மந்த்ரிணஸ்²ச ஸபா⁴ம்’ க்ரு’த்வா யீஸு²ம்’ ப³ந்த⁴யித்வ பீலாதாக்²யஸ்ய தே³ஸா²தி⁴பதே: ஸவித⁴ம்’ நீத்வா ஸமர்பயாமாஸு: |
And as soon as it was morning, the chief priests, having held a consultation with the elders and the scribes, and the whole council, bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him up to Pilate.
2 ததா³ பீலாதஸ்தம்’ ப்ரு’ஷ்டவாந் த்வம்’ கிம்’ யிஹூதீ³யலோகாநாம்’ ராஜா? தத: ஸ ப்ரத்யுக்தவாந் ஸத்யம்’ வத³ஸி|
And Pilate asked him, Art thou the king of the Jews? And he answering saith to him, I am.
3 அபரம்’ ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகாஸ்தஸ்ய ப³ஹுஷு வாக்யேஷு தோ³ஷமாரோபயாஞ்சக்ரு: கிந்து ஸ கிமபி ந ப்ரத்யுவாச|
And the chief priests brought many charges against him.
4 ததா³நீம்’ பீலாதஸ்தம்’ புந: பப்ரச்ச² த்வம்’ கிம்’ நோத்தரயஸி? பஸ்²யைதே த்வத்³விருத்³த⁴ம்’ கதிஷு ஸாத்⁴யேஷு ஸாக்ஷம்’ த³த³தி|
And Pilate asked him again, Dost thou make no answer? See what things they are testifying against thee!
5 கந்து யீஸு²ஸ்ததா³பி நோத்தரம்’ த³தௌ³ தத: பீலாத ஆஸ்²சர்ய்யம்’ ஜகா³ம|
But Jesus made no further answer; so that Pilate marveled.
6 அபரஞ்ச காராப³த்³தே⁴ கஸ்திம்’ஸ்²சித் ஜநே தந்மஹோத்ஸவகாலே லோகை ர்யாசிதே தே³ஸா²தி⁴பதிஸ்தம்’ மோசயதி|
Now at the feast he was wont to release to them one prisoner, whom they might ask.
7 யே ச பூர்வ்வமுபப்லவமகார்ஷுருபப்லவே வத⁴மபி க்ரு’தவந்தஸ்தேஷாம்’ மத்⁴யே ததா³நோம்’ ப³ரப்³பா³நாமக ஏகோ ப³த்³த⁴ ஆஸீத்|
And there was one named Barabbas, who lay bound with insurgents who had committed murder in the insurrection.
8 அதோ ஹேதோ: பூர்வ்வாபரீயாம்’ ரீதிகதா²ம்’ கத²யித்வா லோகா உச்சைருவந்த: பீலாதஸ்ய ஸமக்ஷம்’ நிவேத³யாமாஸு: |
And the multitude, coming up, began to ask him to do as he had been wont to do for them.
9 ததா³ பீலாதஸ்தாநாசக்²யௌ தர்ஹி கிம்’ யிஹூதீ³யாநாம்’ ராஜாநம்’ மோசயிஷ்யாமி? யுஷ்மாபி⁴: கிமிஷ்யதே?
And Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release to you the king of the Jews?
10 யத: ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகா ஈர்ஷ்யாத ஏவ யீஸு²ம்’ ஸமார்பயந்நிதி ஸ விவேத³|
For he knew that for envy the chief priests had delivered him up.
11 கிந்து யதா² ப³ரப்³பா³ம்’ மோசயதி ததா² ப்ரார்த²யிதும்’ ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகா லோகாந் ப்ரவர்த்தயாமாஸு: |
But the chief priests stirred up the multitude, that he should rather release to them Barabbas.
12 அத² பீலாத: புந: ப்ரு’ஷ்டவாந் தர்ஹி யம்’ யிஹூதீ³யாநாம்’ ராஜேதி வத³த² தஸ்ய கிம்’ கரிஷ்யாமி யுஷ்மாபி⁴: கிமிஷ்யதே?
And Pilate answering again said to them, What then would ye have me do with him whom ye call the king of the Jews?
13 ததா³ தே புநரபி ப்ரோச்சை: ப்ரோசுஸ்தம்’ க்ருஸே² வேத⁴ய|
And they cried out again, Crucify him!
14 தஸ்மாத் பீலாத: கதி²தவாந் குத: ? ஸ கிம்’ குகர்ம்ம க்ரு’தவாந்? கிந்து தே புநஸ்²ச ருவந்தோ வ்யாஜஹ்ருஸ்தம்’ க்ருஸே² வேத⁴ய|
Then Pilate said to them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more, Crucify him!
15 ததா³ பீலாத: ஸர்வ்வால்லோகாந் தோஷயிதுமிச்ச²ந் ப³ரப்³பா³ம்’ மோசயித்வா யீஸு²ம்’ கஸா²பி⁴: ப்ரஹ்ரு’த்ய க்ருஸே² வேத்³து⁴ம்’ தம்’ ஸமர்பயாம்ப³பூ⁴வ|
And Pilate, wishing to satisfy the multitude, released to them Barabbas; and, when he had scourged Jesus, delivered him up to be crucified.
16 அநந்தரம்’ ஸைந்யக³ணோ(அ)ட்டாலிகாம் அர்தா²த்³ அதி⁴பதே ர்க்³ரு’ஹம்’ யீஸு²ம்’ நீத்வா ஸேநாநிவஹம்’ ஸமாஹுயத்|
And the soldiers led him away into the court, which is the Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.
17 பஸ்²சாத் தே தம்’ தூ⁴மலவர்ணவஸ்த்ரம்’ பரிதா⁴ப்ய கண்டகமுகுடம்’ ரசயித்வா ஸி²ரஸி ஸமாரோப்ய
And they clothe him with purple, and having platted a crown of thorns, they put it on him.
18 ஹே யிஹூதீ³யாநாம்’ ராஜந் நமஸ்கார இத்யுக்த்வா தம்’ நமஸ்கர்த்தாமாரேபி⁴ரே|
And they began to salute him: Hail, king of the Jews!
19 தஸ்யோத்தமாங்கே³ வேத்ராகா⁴தம்’ சக்ருஸ்தத்³கா³த்ரே நிஷ்டீ²வஞ்ச நிசிக்ஷிபு: , ததா² தஸ்ய ஸம்முகே² ஜாநுபாதம்’ ப்ரணோமு:
And they struck him on the head with a reed, and spit upon him, and kneeling down, did him homage.
20 இத்த²முபஹஸ்ய தூ⁴ம்ரவர்ணவஸ்த்ரம் உத்தார்ய்ய தஸ்ய வஸ்த்ரம்’ தம்’ பர்ய்யதா⁴பயந் க்ருஸே² வேத்³து⁴ம்’ ப³ஹிர்நிந்யுஸ்²ச|
And after they had made sport of him, they stripped him of the purple robe, and put his own garments on him. And they lead him out to crucify him.
21 தத: பரம்’ ஸேகந்த³ரஸ்ய ருப²ஸ்ய ச பிதா ஸி²மோந்நாமா குரீணீயலோக ஏக: குதஸ்²சித்³ க்³ராமாதே³த்ய பதி² யாதி தம்’ தே யீஸோ²: க்ருஸ²ம்’ வோடு⁴ம்’ ப³லாத்³ த³த்⁴நு: |
And they compel one Simon a Cyrenaean, who was passing by, coming from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to carry his cross.
22 அத² கு³ல்க³ல்தா அர்தா²த் ஸி²ர: கபாலநாமகம்’ ஸ்தா²நம்’ யீஸு²மாநீய
And they bring him to the place Golgotha; which is, when interpreted, Place of a Skull.
23 தே க³ந்த⁴ரஸமிஸ்²ரிதம்’ த்³ராக்ஷாரஸம்’ பாதும்’ தஸ்மை த³து³: கிந்து ஸ ந ஜக்³ராஹ|
And they gave him wine mingled with myrrh; but he did not take it.
24 தஸ்மிந் க்ருஸே² வித்³தே⁴ ஸதி தேஷாமேகைகஸ²: கிம்’ ப்ராப்ஸ்யதீதி நிர்ணயாய
And they crucify him, and divide his garments, casting lots for them, what each should take.
25 தஸ்ய பரிதே⁴யாநாம்’ விபா⁴கா³ர்த²ம்’ கு³டிகாபாதம்’ சக்ரு: |
And it was the third hour when they crucified him.
26 அபரம் ஏஷ யிஹூதீ³யாநாம்’ ராஜேதி லிகி²தம்’ தோ³ஷபத்ரம்’ தஸ்ய ஸி²ரஊர்த்³வ்வம் ஆரோபயாஞ்சக்ரு: |
And on the cross the inscription of the charge against him was written: “The king of the Jews.”
27 தஸ்ய வாமத³க்ஷிணயோ ர்த்³வௌ சௌரௌ க்ருஸ²யோ ர்விவிதா⁴தே|
And with him they crucify two robbers; one on his right hand, and one on his left.
28 தேநைவ "அபராதி⁴ஜநை: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ ஸ க³ணிதோ ப⁴விஷ்யதி," இதி ஸா²ஸ்த்ரோக்தம்’ வசநம்’ ஸித்³த⁴மபூ⁴த|
29 அநந்தரம்’ மார்கே³ யே யே லோகா க³மநாக³மநே சக்ருஸ்தே ஸர்வ்வ ஏவ ஸி²ராம்’ஸ்யாந்தோ³ல்ய நிந்த³ந்தோ ஜக³து³: , ரே மந்தி³ரநாஸ²க ரே தி³நத்ரயமத்⁴யே தந்நிர்ம்மாயக,
And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ha! thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it up in three days,
30 அது⁴நாத்மாநம் அவித்வா க்ருஸா²த³வரோஹ|
save thyself, and come down from the cross.
31 கிஞ்ச ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகா அத்⁴யாபகாஸ்²ச தத்³வத் திரஸ்க்ரு’த்ய பரஸ்பரம்’ சசக்ஷிரே ஏஷ பராநாவத் கிந்து ஸ்வமவிதும்’ ந ஸ²க்நோதி|
In like manner also the chief priests, with the scribes, making sport among themselves, said, He saved others, cannot he save himself?
32 யதீ³ஸ்ராயேலோ ராஜாபி⁴ஷிக்தஸ்த்ராதா ப⁴வதி தர்ஹ்யது⁴நைந க்ருஸா²த³வரோஹது வயம்’ தத்³ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா விஸ்²வஸிஷ்யாம: ; கிஞ்ச யௌ லோகௌ தேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ க்ருஸே² (அ)வித்⁴யேதாம்’ தாவபி தம்’ நிர்ப⁴ர்த்ஸயாமாஸது: |
Let the Christ, the king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him were reviling him.
33 அத² த்³விதீயயாமாத் த்ரு’தீயயாமம்’ யாவத் ஸர்வ்வோ தே³ஸ²: ஸாந்த⁴காரோபூ⁴த்|
And when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
34 ததஸ்த்ரு’தீயப்ரஹரே யீஸு²ருச்சைரவத³த் ஏலீ ஏலீ லாமா ஸி²வக்தநீ அர்தா²த்³ "ஹே மதீ³ஸ² மதீ³ஸ² த்வம்’ பர்ய்யத்யாக்ஷீ: குதோ ஹி மாம்’?"
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani? which is, when interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
35 ததா³ ஸமீபஸ்த²லோகாநாம்’ கேசித் தத்³வாக்யம்’ நிஸ²ம்யாசக்²யு: பஸ்²யைஷ ஏலியம் ஆஹூயதி|
And some of those who stood by, when they heard it, said, See! he is calling for Elijah.
36 தத ஏகோ ஜநோ தா⁴வித்வாக³த்ய ஸ்பஞ்ஜே (அ)ம்லரஸம்’ பூரயித்வா தம்’ நடா³க்³ரே நிதா⁴ய பாதும்’ தஸ்மை த³த்த்வாவத³த் திஷ்ட² ஏலிய ஏநமவரோஹயிதும் ஏதி ந வேதி பஸ்²யாமி|
And one ran and filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink, saying, Hold! Let us see whether Elijah will come to take him down.
37 அத² யீஸு²ருச்சை: ஸமாஹூய ப்ராணாந் ஜஹௌ|
And Jesus, having uttered a loud cry, expired.
38 ததா³ மந்தி³ரஸ்ய ஜவநிகோர்த்³வ்வாத³த⁴: ர்ய்யந்தா விதீ³ர்ணா த்³விக²ண்டா³பூ⁴த்|
And the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom.
39 கிஞ்ச இத்த²முச்சைராஹூய ப்ராணாந் த்யஜந்தம்’ தம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்த்³வா தத்³ரக்ஷணாய நியுக்தோ ய: ஸேநாபதிராஸீத் ஸோவத³த் நரோயம் ஈஸ்²வரபுத்ர இதி ஸத்யம்|
And the centurion who stood over against him, seeing that he so expired, said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
40 ததா³நீம்’ மக்³த³லீநீ மரிஸம் கநிஷ்ட²யாகூபோ³ யோஸேஸ்²ச மாதாந்யமரியம் ஸா²லோமீ ச யா: ஸ்த்ரியோ
There were also women looking on from a distance; among whom was Mary the Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
41 கா³லீல்ப்ரதே³ஸே² யீஸு²ம்’ ஸேவித்வா தத³நுகா³மிந்யோ ஜாதா இமாஸ்தத³ந்யாஸ்²ச யா அநேகா நார்யோ யீஸு²நா ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ யிரூஸா²லமமாயாதாஸ்தாஸ்²ச தூ³ராத் தாநி த³த்³ரு’ஸு²: |
who, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and rendered him their services; and many other women who came up with him to Jerusalem.
42 அதா²ஸாத³நதி³நஸ்யார்தா²த்³ விஸ்²ராமவாராத் பூர்வ்வதி³நஸ்ய ஸாயம்’கால ஆக³த
And evening having now come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
43 ஈஸ்²வரராஜ்யாபேக்ஷ்யரிமதீ²யயூஷப²நாமா மாந்யமந்த்ரீ ஸமேத்ய பீலாதஸவித⁴ம்’ நிர்ப⁴யோ க³த்வா யீஸோ²ர்தே³ஹம்’ யயாசே|
Joseph of Arimathaea, an honorable councilor, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, came, and boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.
44 கிந்து ஸ இதா³நீம்’ ம்ரு’த: பீலாத இத்யஸம்ப⁴வம்’ மத்வா ஸ²தஸேநாபதிமாஹூய ஸ கதா³ ம்ரு’த இதி பப்ரச்ச²|
And Pilate wondered that he was already dead; and calling to him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been long dead.
45 ஸ²தஸேமநாபதிமுகா²த் தஜ்ஜ்ஞாத்வா யூஷபே² யீஸோ²ர்தே³ஹம்’ த³தௌ³|
And having been informed by the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.
46 பஸ்²சாத் ஸ ஸூக்ஷ்மம்’ வாஸ: க்ரீத்வா யீஸோ²: காயமவரோஹ்ய தேந வாஸஸா வேஷ்டாயித்வா கி³ரௌ கா²தஸ்²மஸா²நே ஸ்தா²பிதவாந் பாஷாணம்’ லோட²யித்வா த்³வாரி நித³தே⁴|
And having bought fine linen, he took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a tomb which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone to the door of the tomb.
47 கிந்து யத்ர ஸோஸ்தா²ப்யத தத மக்³த³லீநீ மரியம் யோஸிமாத்ரு’மரியம் ச த³த்³ரு’ஸ²த்ரு’: |
And Mary the Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses saw where he was laid.
