யோஹந​: 17

1 தத​: பரம்’ யீஸு²ரேதா​: கதா²​: கத²யித்வா ஸ்வர்க³ம்’ விலோக்யைதத் ப்ரார்த²யத், ஹே பித​: ஸமய உபஸ்தி²தவாந்; யதா² தவ புத்ரஸ்தவ மஹிமாநம்’ ப்ரகாஸ²யதி தத³ர்த²ம்’ த்வம்’ நிஜபுத்ரஸ்ய மஹிமாநம்’ ப்ரகாஸ²ய|

These things spoke (*k*) Jesus, and (having lifted up *N(k)O*) the eyes of Him to heaven (and *k*) He said; Father, has come the hour; do glorify Your Son, that (also *k*) the Son (of you *k*) may glorify You.

2 த்வம்’ யோல்லோகாந் தஸ்ய ஹஸ்தே ஸமர்பிதவாந் ஸ யதா² தேப்⁴யோ(அ)நந்தாயு ர்த³தா³தி தத³ர்த²ம்’ த்வம்’ ப்ராணிமாத்ராணாம் அதி⁴பதித்வபா⁴ரம்’ தஸ்மை த³த்தவாந்| (aiōnios g166)

Even as You gave to Him authority over all flesh, so that all whom You have given to Him, (He may give *NK(o)*) to them life eternal. (aiōnios g166)

3 யஸ்த்வம் அத்³விதீய​: ஸத்ய ஈஸ்²வரஸ்த்வயா ப்ரேரிதஸ்²ச யீஸு²​: க்²ரீஷ்ட ஏதயோருப⁴யோ​: பரிசயே ப்ராப்தே(அ)நந்தாயு ர்ப⁴வதி| (aiōnios g166)

This now is eternal life that they may know You the only true God and whom You have sent Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)

4 த்வம்’ யஸ்ய கர்ம்மணோ பா⁴ரம்’ மஹ்யம்’ த³த்தவாந், தத் ஸம்பந்நம்’ க்ரு’த்வா ஜக³த்யஸ்மிந் தவ மஹிமாநம்’ ப்ராகாஸ²யம்’|

I myself You glorified on the earth the work (having completed *N(k)O*) that You have given Me that I may do.

5 அதஏவ ஹே பித ர்ஜக³த்யவித்³யமாநே த்வயா ஸஹ திஷ்ட²தோ மம யோ மஹிமாஸீத் ஸம்ப்ரதி தவ ஸமீபே மாம்’ தம்’ மஹிமாநம்’ ப்ராபய|

And now do glorify Me You yourself, Father, with Yourself with the glory that I had before the world existing with You.

6 அந்யச்ச த்வம் ஏதஜ்ஜக³தோ யால்லோகாந் மஹ்யம் அத³தா³ அஹம்’ தேப்⁴யஸ்தவ நாம்நஸ்தத்த்வஜ்ஞாநம் அத³தா³ம்’, தே தவைவாஸந், த்வம்’ தாந் மஹ்யமத³தா³​: , தஸ்மாத்தே தவோபதே³ஸ²ம் அக்³ரு’ஹ்லந்|

I revealed Your name to the men whom (you gave *N(k)O*) Me out of the world; Yours they were and to Me and to Me them (You gave *N(k)O*) and the word of You they have kept.

7 த்வம்’ மஹ்யம்’ யத் கிஞ்சித்³ அத³தா³ஸ்தத்ஸர்வ்வம்’ த்வத்தோ ஜாயதே இத்யது⁴நாஜாநந்|

Now they have known that all things as much as (You have given *NK(o)*) Me of You (are; *N(k)O*)

8 மஹ்யம்’ யமுபதே³ஸ²ம் அத³தா³ அஹமபி தேப்⁴யஸ்தமுபதே³ஸ²ம் அத³தா³ம்’ தேபி தமக்³ரு’ஹ்லந் த்வத்தோஹம்’ நிர்க³த்ய த்வயா ப்ரேரிதோப⁴வம் அத்ர ச வ்யஸ்²வஸந்|

for the declarations that (You gave *N(k)O*) Me I have given to them; and they themselves received [them] and they knew truly that from You I came forth, and they believed that You yourself Me sent.

9 தேஷாமேவ நிமித்தம்’ ப்ரார்த²யே(அ)ஹம்’ ஜக³தோ லோகநிமித்தம்’ ந ப்ரார்த²யே கிந்து யால்லோகாந் மஹ்யம் அத³தா³ஸ்தேஷாமேவ நிமித்தம்’ ப்ரார்த²யே(அ)ஹம்’ யதஸ்தே தவைவாஸதே|

I myself concerning them am praying; Not concerning the world do I pray but concerning those whom You have given Me, for Yours they are;

10 யே மம தே தவ யே ச தவ தே மம ததா² தை ர்மம மஹிமா ப்ரகாஸ்²யதே|

And the [things] of mine all Yours are and Yours Mine; and I have been glorified in them.

11 ஸாம்ப்ரதம் அஸ்மிந் ஜக³தி மமாவஸ்தி²தே​: ஸே²ஷம் அப⁴வத் அஹம்’ தவ ஸமீபம்’ க³ச்சா²மி கிந்து தே ஜக³தி ஸ்தா²ஸ்யந்தி; ஹே பவித்ர பிதராவயோ ர்யதை²கத்வமாஸ்தே ததா² தேஷாமப்யேகத்வம்’ ப⁴வதி தத³ர்த²ம்’ யால்லோகாந் மஹ்யம் அத³தா³ஸ்தாந் ஸ்வநாம்நா ரக்ஷ|

And no longer no longer I am in the world, and yet (themselves *N(k)O*) in the world they are, and I myself and I myself to You am coming. Father Holy, do keep them in the name of You (which [name] *N(K)O*) You have given to Me that they may be one even as (also *o*) we ourselves [are].

12 யாவந்தி தி³நாநி ஜக³த்யஸ்மிந் தை​: ஸஹாஹமாஸம்’ தாவந்தி தி³நாநி தாந் தவ நாம்நாஹம்’ ரக்ஷிதவாந்; யால்லோகாந் மஹ்யம் அத³தா³ஸ்தாந் ஸர்வ்வாந் அஹமரக்ஷம்’, தேஷாம்’ மத்⁴யே கேவலம்’ விநாஸ²பாத்ரம்’ ஹாரிதம்’ தேந த⁴ர்ம்மபுஸ்தகஸ்ய வசநம்’ ப்ரத்யக்ஷம்’ ப⁴வதி|

When I was with them (in world *K*) I myself was keeping them in the name of You (which [name] *N(K)O*) You have given to Me (And *no*) I guarded [them], and none of them has perished only except the son of destruction, that the Scripture may be fulfilled.

13 கிந்த்வது⁴நா தவ ஸந்நிதி⁴ம்’ க³ச்சா²மி மயா யதா² தேஷாம்’ ஸம்பூர்ணாநந்தோ³ ப⁴வதி தத³ர்த²மஹம்’ ஜக³தி திஷ்ட²ந் ஏதா​: கதா² அகத²யம்|

Now however to You I am coming and these things I speak in the world, so that they may have joy of Mine fulfilled within (themselves. *N(k)O*)

14 தவோபதே³ஸ²ம்’ தேப்⁴யோ(அ)த³தா³ம்’ ஜக³தா ஸஹ யதா² மம ஸம்ப³ந்தோ⁴ நாஸ்தி ததா² ஜஜதா ஸஹ தேஷாமபி ஸம்ப³ந்தா⁴பா⁴வாஜ் ஜக³தோ லோகாஸ்தாந் ரு’தீயந்தே|

I myself have given to them the word of You, and the world hated them, because not they are of the world even as I myself not am of the world.

15 த்வம்’ ஜக³தஸ்தாந் க்³ரு’ஹாணேதி ந ப்ரார்த²யே கிந்த்வஸு²பா⁴த்³ ரக்ஷேதி ப்ரார்த²யேஹம்|

Not I do ask that You may take them out of the world but that You may keep them from evil.

16 அஹம்’ யதா² ஜக³த்ஸம்ப³ந்தீ⁴யோ ந ப⁴வாமி ததா² தேபி ஜக³த்ஸம்ப³ந்தீ⁴யா ந ப⁴வந்தி|

Of the world not they are even as I myself not am of the world.

17 தவ ஸத்யகத²யா தாந் பவித்ரீகுரு தவ வாக்யமேவ ஸத்யம்’|

do sanctify them by the truth (of you; *k*) the word of You truth is.

18 த்வம்’ யதா² மாம்’ ஜக³தி ப்ரைரயஸ்ததா²ஹமபி தாந் ஜக³தி ப்ரைரயம்’|

Even as Me myself You sent into the world, I myself also I myself also sent them into the world.

19 தேஷாம்’ ஹிதார்த²ம்’ யதா²ஹம்’ ஸ்வம்’ பவித்ரீகரோமி ததா² ஸத்யகத²யா தேபி பவித்ரீப⁴வந்து|

and for them I myself sanctify Myself, that may be also they themselves sanctified in truth.

20 கேவலம்’ ஏதேஷாமர்தே² ப்ரார்த²யே(அ)ஹம் இதி ந கிந்த்வேதேஷாமுபதே³ஸே²ந யே ஜநா மயி விஸ்²வஸிஷ்யந்தி தேஷாமப்யர்தே² ப்ரார்தே²யே(அ)ஹம்|

Not for these however do I ask only but also for those (are believing *N(k)O*) through the word of them in Me myself;

21 ஹே பிதஸ்தேஷாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம் ஏகத்வம்’ ப⁴வது தவ யதா² மயி மம ச யதா² த்வய்யேகத்வம்’ ததா² தேஷாமப்யாவயோரேகத்வம்’ ப⁴வது தேந த்வம்’ மாம்’ ப்ரேரிதவாந் இதி ஜக³தோ லோகா​: ப்ரதியந்து|

that all one may be even as You yourself, (Father, *NK(o)*) [are] in Me myself and I myself and I myself in You, that also they themselves in Us (one *KO*) may be; that the world (may believe *N(k)O*) that You yourself Me sent.

22 யதா²வயோரேகத்வம்’ ததா² தேஷாமப்யேகத்வம்’ ப⁴வது தேஷ்வஹம்’ மயி ச த்வம் இத்த²ம்’ தேஷாம்’ ஸம்பூர்ணமேகத்வம்’ ப⁴வது, த்வம்’ ப்ரேரிதவாந் த்வம்’ மயி யதா² ப்ரீயஸே ச ததா² தேஷ்வபி ப்ரீதவாந் ஏதத்³யதா² ஜக³தோ லோகா ஜாநந்தி

And I myself And I myself the glory which You have given Me I have given to them, so that they may be one even as We ourselves one — (are; *k*)

23 தத³ர்த²ம்’ த்வம்’ யம்’ மஹிமாநம்’ மஹ்யம் அத³தா³ஸ்தம்’ மஹிமாநம் அஹமபி தேப்⁴யோ த³த்தவாந்|

I myself in them and You in Me myself — that they may be perfected in unity, (and *k*) so that may know the world that You yourself Me sent and You loved them even as Me myself You loved.

24 ஹே பித ர்ஜக³தோ நிர்ம்மாணாத் பூர்வ்வம்’ மயி ஸ்நேஹம்’ க்ரு’த்வா யம்’ மஹிமாநம்’ த³த்தவாந் மம தம்’ மஹிமாநம்’ யதா² தே பஸ்²யந்தி தத³ர்த²ம்’ யால்லோகாந் மஹ்யம்’ த³த்தவாந் அஹம்’ யத்ர திஷ்டா²மி தேபி யதா² தத்ர திஷ்ட²ந்தி மமைஷா வாஞ்சா²|

(Father, *NK(o)*) (that [one] *N(k)O*) You have given Me I desire that where am I myself they also they also may be with Me, that they may behold glory of Mine that (You have given *N(k)O*) Me because You loved Me before [the] foundation of [the] world.

25 ஹே யதா²ர்தி²க பித ர்ஜக³தோ லோகைஸ்த்வய்யஜ்ஞாதேபி த்வாமஹம்’ ஜாநே த்வம்’ மாம்’ ப்ரேரிதவாந் இதீமே ஸி²ஷ்யா ஜாநந்தி|

(Father *NK(o)*) righteous, although the world You not has known, I myself now You have known, and these have known that You yourself Me sent;

26 யதா²ஹம்’ தேஷு திஷ்டா²மி ததா² மயி யேந ப்ரேம்நா ப்ரேமாகரோஸ்தத் தேஷு திஷ்ட²தி தத³ர்த²ம்’ தவ நாமாஹம்’ தாந் ஜ்ஞாபிதவாந் புநரபி ஜ்ஞாபயிஷ்யாமி|

And I made known to them the name of You and will make [it] known, so that the love with which You loved Me in them may be and I myself and I myself in them.
