ப்ரேரிதா: 27
1 ஜலபதே²நாஸ்மாகம் இதோலியாதே³ஸ²ம்’ ப்ரதி யாத்ராயாம்’ நிஸ்²சிதாயாம்’ ஸத்யாம்’ தே யூலியநாம்நோ மஹாராஜஸ்ய ஸம்’கா⁴தாந்தர்க³தஸ்ய ஸேநாபதே: ஸமீபே பௌலம்’ தத³ந்யாந் கதிநயஜநாம்’ஸ்²ச ஸமார்பயந்|
When it was cocluded that we shuld sayle into Italy they delivered Paul and certayne other presoners vnto one named Iulius an vnder captayne of Cesars soudiars.
2 வயம் ஆத்³ராமுத்தீயம்’ போதமேகம் ஆருஹ்ய ஆஸி²யாதே³ஸ²ஸ்ய தடஸமீபேந யாதும்’ மதிம்’ க்ரு’த்வா லங்க³ரம் உத்தா²ப்ய போதம் அமோசயாம; மாகித³நியாதே³ஸ²ஸ்த²தி²ஷலநீகீநிவாஸ்யாரிஸ்தார்க²நாமா கஸ்²சித்³ ஜநோ(அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் ஆஸீத்|
And we entred into a ship of Adramicium and lowsed from lond apoynted to sayle by the costes of Asia one Aristarcus out of Macedonia of the contre of Thessalia beinge with vs.
3 பரஸ்மிந் தி³வஸே (அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴: ஸீதோ³ந்நக³ரே போதே லாகி³தே தத்ர யூலிய: ஸேநாபதி: பௌலம்’ ப்ரதி ஸௌஜந்யம்’ ப்ரத³ர்த்²ய ஸாந்த்வநார்த²ம்’ ப³ந்து⁴பா³ந்த⁴வாந் உபயாதும் அநுஜஜ்ஞௌ|
And the nexte daye we came to Sidon. And Iulius courteously entreated Paul and gave him liberte to goo vnto his frendes and to refresshe him selfe.
4 தஸ்மாத் போதே மோசிதே ஸதி ஸம்முக²வாயோ: ஸம்ப⁴வாத்³ வயம்’ குப்ரோபத்³வீபஸ்ய தீரஸமீபேந க³தவந்த: |
And from thence lanched we and sayled harde by Cypers because the wyndes were contrarye.
5 கிலிகியாயா: பாம்பூ²லியாயாஸ்²ச ஸமுத்³ரஸ்ய பாரம்’ க³த்வா லூகியாதே³ஸா²ந்தர்க³தம்’ முராநக³ரம் உபாதிஷ்டா²ம|
Then sayled we over the see of Cilicia and Pamphylia and came to Myra a cite in Lycia.
6 தத்ஸ்தா²நாத்³ இதாலியாதே³ஸ²ம்’ க³ச்ச²தி ய: ஸிகந்த³ரியாநக³ரஸ்ய போதஸ்தம்’ தத்ர ப்ராப்ய ஸ²தஸேநாபதிஸ்தம்’ போதம் அஸ்மாந் ஆரோஹயத்|
And there ye vnder captayne founde a shippe of Alexander redy to sayle into Italy and put vs therin.
7 தத: பரம்’ ப³ஹூநி தி³நாநி ஸ²நை: ஸ²நை: ர்க³த்வா க்நீத³பார்ஸ்²வோபஸ்த்²தி: பூர்வ்வம்’ ப்ரதிகூலேந பவநேந வயம்’ ஸல்மோந்யா: ஸம்முக²ம் உபஸ்தா²ய க்ரீத்யுபத்³வீபஸ்ய தீரஸமீபேந க³தவந்த: |
And when we had sayled slowly many dayes and scace were come over agaynst Gnydon (because the wynde with stode vs) we sayled harde by the costes of Candy over agaynste Salmo
8 கஷ்டேந தமுத்தீர்ய்ய லாஸேயாநக³ரஸ்யாத⁴: ஸுந்த³ரநாமகம்’ கா²தம் உபாதிஷ்டா²ம|
and with moche worke sayled beyonde yt and came vnto a place called good porte. Nye whervnto was a citie called Lasea.
9 இத்த²ம்’ ப³ஹுதித²: காலோ யாபித உபவாஸதி³நஞ்சாதீதம்’, தத்காரணாத் நௌவர்த்மநி ப⁴யங்கரே ஸதி பௌலோ விநயேந கதி²தவாந்,
When moche tyme was spent and saylinge was now ieoperdeous because also that we had overlonge fasted Paul put them in remembraunce
10 ஹே மஹேச்சா² அஹம்’ நிஸ்²சயம்’ ஜாநாமி யாத்ராயாமஸ்யாம் அஸ்மாகம்’ க்லேஸா² ப³ஹூநாமபசயாஸ்²ச ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி, தே கேவலம்’ போதஸாமக்³ர்யோரிதி நஹி, கிந்த்வஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ராணாநாமபி|
and sayde vnto them Syrs I perceave that this vyage wilbe with hurte and moche domage not of the ladynge and ship only: but also of oure lyves.
11 ததா³ ஸ²தஸேநாபதி: பௌலோக்தவாக்யதோபி கர்ணதா⁴ரஸ்ய போதவணிஜஸ்²ச வாக்யம்’ ப³ஹுமம்’ஸ்த|
Neverthelather the vndercaptayne beleved the governer and the master better then tho thinges which were spoken of Paul.
12 தத் கா²தம்’ ஸீ²தகாலே வாஸார்ஹஸ்தா²நம்’ ந தஸ்மாத்³ அவாசீப்ரதீசோர்தி³ஸோ²: க்ரீத்யா: பை²நீகியகா²தம்’ யாதும்’ யதி³ ஸ²க்நுவந்தஸ்தர்ஹி தத்ர ஸீ²தகாலம்’ யாபயிதும்’ ப்ராயேண ஸர்வ்வே மந்த்ரயாமாஸு: |
And because the haven was not comodius to wynter in many toke counsell to departe thence yf by eny meanes they myght attayne to Phenices and there to wynter which is an haven of Candy and servith to the southwest and northwest wynde.
13 தத: பரம்’ த³க்ஷிணவாயு ர்மந்த³ம்’ வஹதீதி விலோக்ய நிஜாபி⁴ப்ராயஸ்ய ஸித்³தே⁴: ஸுயோகோ³ ப⁴வதீதி பு³த்³த்⁴வா போதம்’ மோசயித்வா க்ரீத்யுபத்³வீபஸ்ய தீரஸமீபேந சலிதவந்த: |
When the south wynde blewe they supposynge to obtayne their purpose lowsed vnto Asson and sayled paste all Candy.
14 கிந்த்வல்பக்ஷணாத் பரமேவ உரக்லுதோ³ந்நாமா ப்ரதிகூல: ப்ரசண்டோ³ வாயு ர்வஹந் போதே(அ)லகீ³த்
But anone after ther arose agaynste their purpose a flawe of wynde out of the northeeste.
15 தஸ்யாபி⁴முக²ம்’ க³ந்தும் போதஸ்யாஸ²க்தத்வாத்³ வயம்’ வாயுநா ஸ்வயம்’ நீதா: |
And when the ship was caught and coulde not resist the wynde we let her goo and drave with the wether.
16 அநந்தரம்’ க்லௌதீ³நாம்ந உபத்³வீபஸ்ய கூலஸமீபேந போதம்’ க³மயித்வா ப³ஹுநா கஷ்டேந க்ஷுத்³ரநாவம் அரக்ஷாம|
And we came vnto an yle named Clauda and had moche worke to come by abote
17 தே தாமாருஹ்ய ரஜ்ஜ்சா போதஸ்யாதோ⁴பா⁴க³ம் அப³த்⁴நந் தத³நந்தரம்’ சேத் போதோ ஸைகதே லக³தீதி ப⁴யாத்³ வாதவஸநாந்யமோசயந் தத: போதோ வாயுநா சாலித: |
which they toke vp and vsed helpe vndergerdynge the shippe fearynge lest we shuld have fallen into Syrtes and we let doune a vessell and so were caryed.
18 கிந்து க்ரமஸோ² வாயோ: ப்ரப³லத்வாத் போதோ தோ³லாயமாநோ(அ)ப⁴வத் பரஸ்மிந் தி³வஸே போதஸ்தா²நி கதிபயாநி த்³ரவ்யாணி தோயே நிக்ஷிப்தாநி|
The nexte daye when we were tossed wt an exceadynge tempest they lyghtened ye ship
19 த்ரு’தீயதி³வஸே வயம்’ ஸ்வஹஸ்தை: போதஸஜ்ஜநத்³ரவ்யாணி நிக்ஷிப்தவந்த: |
and the thyrde daye we cast out with oure awne hondes the tacklynge of the shippe.
20 ததோ ப³ஹுதி³நாநி யாவத் ஸூர்ய்யநக்ஷத்ராதீ³நி ஸமாச்ச²ந்நாநி ததோ (அ)தீவ வாத்யாக³மாத்³ அஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ராணரக்ஷாயா: காபி ப்ரத்யாஸா² நாதிஷ்ட²த்|
When at the last nether sunne nor starre in many dayes appered and no small tempest laye apon vs all hope that we shuld be saved was then taken awaye.
21 ப³ஹுதி³நேஷு லோகைரநாஹாரேண யாபிதேஷு ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ ஸாக்ஷத் பௌலஸ்திஷ்ட²ந் அகத²யத், ஹே மஹேச்சா²: க்ரீத்யுபத்³வீபாத் போதம்’ ந மோசயிதும் அஹம்’ பூர்வ்வம்’ யத்³ அவத³ம்’ தத்³க்³ரஹணம்’ யுஷ்மாகம் உசிதம் ஆஸீத் ததா² க்ரு’தே யுஷ்மாகம் ஏஷா விபத்³ ஏஷோ(அ)பசயஸ்²ச நாக⁴டிஷ்யேதாம்|
Then after longe abstinence Paul stode forth in the myddes of them and sayde: Syrs ye shulde have harkened to me and not have lowsed from Candy nether to have brought vnto vs this harme and losse.
22 கிந்து ஸாம்ப்ரதம்’ யுஷ்மாந் விநீய ப்³ரவீம்யஹம்’, யூயம்’ ந க்ஷுப்⁴யத யுஷ்மாகம் ஏகஸ்யாபி ப்ராணிநோ ஹாநி ர்ந ப⁴விஷ்யதி, கேவலஸ்ய போதஸ்ய ஹாநி ர்ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
And nowe I exhorte you to be of good chere. For ther shalbe no losse of eny mas lyfe amonge you save of the ship only.
23 யதோ யஸ்யேஸ்²வரஸ்ய லோகோ(அ)ஹம்’ யஞ்சாஹம்’ பரிசராமி ததீ³ய ஏகோ தூ³தோ ஹ்யோ ராத்ரௌ மமாந்திகே திஷ்ட²ந் கதி²தவாந்,
For ther stode by me this nyght the angell of God whose I am and whom I serve
24 ஹே பௌல மா பை⁴ஷீ: கைஸரஸ்ய ஸம்முகே² த்வயோபஸ்தா²தவ்யம்’; தவைதாந் ஸங்கி³நோ லோகாந் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்துப்⁴யம்’ த³த்தவாந்|
sayinge: feare not Paul for thou must be brought before Cesar. And lo God hath geven vnto the all that sayle with ye.
25 அதஏவ ஹே மஹேச்சா² யூயம்’ ஸ்தி²ரமநஸோ ப⁴வத மஹ்யம்’ யா கதா²கதி² ஸாவஸ்²யம்’ க⁴டிஷ்யதே மமைதாத்³ரு’ஸீ² விஸ்²வாஸ ஈஸ்²வரே வித்³யதே,
Wherfore Syrs be of good chere: for I beleve God that so it shalbe even as it was tolde me.
26 கிந்து கஸ்யசித்³ உபத்³வீபஸ்யோபரி பதிதவ்யம் அஸ்மாபி⁴: |
How be it we must be cast into a certayne ylonde.
27 தத: பரம் ஆத்³ரியாஸமுத்³ரே போதஸ்ததை²வ தோ³லாயமாந: ஸந் இதஸ்ததோ க³ச்ச²ந் சதுர்த³ஸ²தி³வஸஸ்ய ராத்ரே ர்த்³விதீயப்ரஹரஸமயே கஸ்யசித் ஸ்த²லஸ்ய ஸமீபமுபதிஷ்ட²தீதி போதீயலோகா அந்வமந்யந்த|
But when ye fourtethe nyght was come as we were caryed in Adria about mydnyght the shipmen demed that ther appered some countre vnto the:
28 ததஸ்தே ஜலம்’ பரிமாய தத்ர விம்’ஸ²தி ர்வ்யாமா ஜலாநீதி ஜ்ஞாதவந்த: | கிஞ்சித்³தூ³ரம்’ க³த்வா புநரபி ஜலம்’ பரிமிதவந்த: | தத்ர பஞ்சத³ஸ² வ்யாமா ஜலாநி த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா
and sounded and founde it. xx. feddoms. And when they had gone a lytell further they sounded agayne and founde. xv. feddoms.
29 சேத் பாஷாணே லக³தீதி ப⁴யாத் போதஸ்ய பஸ்²சாத்³பா⁴க³தஸ்²சதுரோ லங்க³ராந் நிக்ஷிப்ய தி³வாகரம் அபேக்ஷ்ய ஸர்வ்வே ஸ்தி²தவந்த: |
Then fearinge lest they shuld have fallen on some Rocke they cast. iiii. ancres out of the sterne and wysshed for ye daye.
30 கிந்து போதீயலோகா: போதாக்³ரபா⁴கே³ லங்க³ரநிக்ஷேபம்’ ச²லம்’ க்ரு’த்வா ஜலதௌ⁴ க்ஷுத்³ரநாவம் அவரோஹ்ய பலாயிதும் அசேஷ்டந்த|
As the shipmen were about to fle out of the ship and had let doune the bote into the see vnder a coloure as though they wolde have cast ancres out of the forshippe:
31 தத: பௌல: ஸேநாபதயே ஸைந்யக³ணாய ச கதி²தவாந், ஏதே யதி³ போதமத்⁴யே ந திஷ்ட²ந்தி தர்ஹி யுஷ்மாகம்’ ரக்ஷணம்’ ந ஸ²க்யம்’|
Paul sayd vnto ye vnder captayne and the soudiers: excepte these abyde in the ship ye cannot be safe.
32 ததா³ ஸேநாக³ணோ ரஜ்ஜூந் சி²த்வா நாவம்’ ஜலே பதிதும் அத³தா³த்|
Then the soudiers cut of the rope of the bote and let it fall awaye.
33 ப்ரபா⁴தஸமயே பௌல: ஸர்வ்வாந் ஜநாந் போ⁴ஜநார்த²ம்’ ப்ரார்த்²ய வ்யாஹரத், அத்³ய சதுர்த³ஸ²தி³நாநி யாவத்³ யூயம் அபேக்ஷமாநா அநாஹாரா: காலம் அயாபயத கிமபி நாபு⁴ம்’க்³த⁴ம்’|
And in ye meane tyme betwixt that and daye Paul besought them all to take meate sayinge: this is ye fourtenthe daye that ye have taried and continued fastynge receavinge nothinge at all.
34 அதோ விநயே(அ)ஹம்’ ப⁴க்ஷ்யம்’ பு⁴ஜ்யதாம்’ ததோ யுஷ்மாகம்’ மங்க³லம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யதி, யுஷ்மாகம்’ கஸ்யசிஜ்ஜநஸ்ய ஸி²ரஸ: கேஸை²கோபி ந நம்’க்ஷ்யதி|
Wherfore I praye you to take meate: for this no dout is for youre helth: for ther shall not an heere fall fro the heed of eny of you.
35 இதி வ்யாஹ்ரு’த்ய பௌலம்’ பூபம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வேஸ்²வரம்’ த⁴ந்யம்’ பா⁴ஷமாணஸ்தம்’ ப⁴ம்’க்த்வா போ⁴க்தும் ஆரப்³த⁴வாந்|
And when he had thus spoke he toke breed and gave thankes to God in presence of the all and brake it and begane to eate.
36 அநந்தரம்’ ஸர்வ்வே ச ஸுஸ்தி²ரா: ஸந்த: கா²த்³யாநி பர்ப்யக்³ரு’ஹ்லந்|
Then were they all of good cheare and they also toke meate.
37 அஸ்மாகம்’ போதே ஷட்ஸப்தத்யதி⁴கஸ²தத்³வயலோகா ஆஸந்|
We were all together in ye ship two hundred thre score and sixtene soules.
38 ஸர்வ்வேஷு லோகேஷு யதே²ஷ்டம்’ பு⁴க்தவத்ஸு போதஸ்த²ந் கோ³தூ⁴மாந் ஜலதௌ⁴ நிக்ஷிப்ய தை: போதஸ்ய பா⁴ரோ லகூ⁴க்ரு’த: |
And whe they had eate ynough they lightened ye ship and cast out the wheate into the see.
39 தி³நே ஜாதே(அ)பி ஸ கோ தே³ஸ² இதி ததா³ ந பர்ய்யசீயத; கிந்து தத்ர ஸமதடம் ஏகம்’ கா²தம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா யதி³ ஸ²க்நுமஸ்தர்ஹி வயம்’ தஸ்யாப்⁴யந்தரம்’ போதம்’ க³மயாம இதி மதிம்’ க்ரு’த்வா தே லங்க³ராந் சி²த்த்வா ஜலதௌ⁴ த்யக்தவந்த: |
Whe yt was daye they knew not ye lande but they spied a certayne haven with a banke into ye which they were mynded (yf yt were possible) to thrust in the ship.
40 ததா² கர்ணப³ந்த⁴நம்’ மோசயித்வா ப்ரதா⁴நம்’ வாதவஸநம் உத்தோல்ய தீரஸமீபம்’ க³தவந்த: |
And when they had taken vp the ancres they comytted them selves vnto the see and lowsed the rudder bondes and hoysed vp ye mayne sayle to the wynde and drue to londe.
41 கிந்து த்³வயோ: ஸமுத்³ரயோ: ஸங்க³மஸ்தா²நே ஸைகதோபரி போதே நிக்ஷிப்தே (அ)க்³ரபா⁴கே³ பா³தி⁴தே பஸ்²சாத்³பா⁴கே³ ப்ரப³லதரங்கோ³(அ)லக³த் தேந போதோ ப⁴க்³ந: |
But they chaunsed on a place which had the see on bothe the sydes and thrust in the ship. And the foore parte stucke fast and moved not but ye hynder brake with the violence of the waves.
42 தஸ்மாத்³ ப³ந்த³யஸ்²சேத்³ பா³ஹுபி⁴ஸ்தரந்த: பலாயந்தே இத்யாஸ²ங்கயா ஸேநாக³ணஸ்தாந் ஹந்தும் அமந்த்ரயத்;
The soudears counsell was to kyll ye presoners lest eny of them when he had swome out shulde fle awaye.
43 கிந்து ஸ²தஸேநாபதி: பௌலம்’ ரக்ஷிதும்’ ப்ரயத்நம்’ க்ரு’த்வா தாந் தச்சேஷ்டாயா நிவர்த்ய இத்யாதி³ஷ்டவாந், யே பா³ஹுதரணம்’ ஜாநந்தி தே(அ)க்³ரே ப்ரோல்லம்ப்ய ஸமுத்³ரே பதித்வா பா³ஹுபி⁴ஸ்தீர்த்த்வா கூலம்’ யாந்து|
But the vndercaptayne willinge to save Paul kept the from their purpose and commaunded that they yt could swyme shulde cast the selves first in to ye see and scape to londe.
44 அபரம் அவஸி²ஷ்டா ஜநா: காஷ்ட²ம்’ போதீயம்’ த்³ரவ்யம்’ வா யேந யத் ப்ராப்யதே தத³வலம்ப்³ய யாந்து; இத்த²ம்’ ஸர்வ்வே பூ⁴மிம்’ ப்ராப்ய ப்ராணை ர்ஜீவிதா: |
And the other he comaunded to goo some on bordes and some on broken peces of the ship. And so it came to passe that they came all safe to londe.
