1 கைஸரியாநக³ர இதாலியாக்²யஸைந்யாந்தர்க³த: கர்ணீலியநாமா ஸேநாபதிராஸீத்
Ther was a certayne man in Cesarea called Cornelius a captayne of ye soudiers of Italy
2 ஸ ஸபரிவாரோ ப⁴க்த ஈஸ்²வரபராயணஸ்²சாஸீத்; லோகேப்⁴யோ ப³ஹூநி தா³நாதீ³நி த³த்வா நிரந்தரம் ஈஸ்²வரே ப்ரார்த²யாஞ்சக்ரே|
a devoute man and one yt feared God wt all his housholde which gave moche almes to the people and prayde God alwaye.
3 ஏகதா³ த்ரு’தீயப்ரஹரவேலாயாம்’ ஸ த்³ரு’ஷ்டவாந் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்யைகோ தூ³த: ஸப்ரகாஸ²ம்’ தத்ஸமீபம் ஆக³த்ய கதி²தவாந், ஹே கர்ணீலிய|
The same man sawe in a vision evydetly aboute ye nynthe houre of ye daye an angell of god comynge into him and sayinge vnto him: Cornelius.
4 கிந்து ஸ தம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா பீ⁴தோ(அ)கத²யத், ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ கிம்’? ததா³ தமவத³த் தவ ப்ரார்த²நா தா³நாதி³ ச ஸாக்ஷிஸ்வரூபம்’ பூ⁴த்வேஸ்²வரஸ்ய கோ³சரமப⁴வத்|
When he looked on him he was afrayde and sayde: what is it lorde? He sayde vnto him. Thy prayers and thy almeses ar come vp into remembraunce before God.
5 இதா³நீம்’ யாபோ²நக³ரம்’ ப்ரதி லோகாந் ப்ரேஷ்ய ஸமுத்³ரதீரே ஸி²மோந்நாம்நஸ்²சர்ம்மகாரஸ்ய க்³ரு’ஹே ப்ரவாஸகாரீ பிதரநாம்நா விக்²யாதோ ய: ஸி²மோந் தம் ஆஹ்வாயய;
And now sende men to Ioppa and call for one Simon named also Peter.
6 தஸ்மாத் த்வயா யத்³யத் கர்த்தவ்யம்’ தத்தத் ஸ வதி³ஷ்யதி|
He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner whose housse is by ye see syde. He shall tell the what thou oughtest to doo.
7 இத்யுபதி³ஸ்²ய தூ³தே ப்ரஸ்தி²தே ஸதி கர்ணீலிய: ஸ்வக்³ரு’ஹஸ்தா²நாம்’ தா³ஸாநாம்’ த்³வௌ ஜநௌ நித்யம்’ ஸ்வஸங்கி³நாம்’ ஸைந்யாநாம் ஏகாம்’ ப⁴க்தஸேநாஞ்சாஹூய
When the angell which spake vnto Cornelius was departed he called two of his housholde servauntes and a devoute soudier of them that wayted on him
8 ஸகலமேதம்’ வ்ரு’த்தாந்தம்’ விஜ்ஞாப்ய யாபோ²நக³ரம்’ தாந் ப்ராஹிணோத்|
and tolde them all the mater and sent them to Ioppa.
9 பரஸ்மிந் தி³நே தே யாத்ராம்’ க்ரு’த்வா யதா³ நக³ரஸ்ய ஸமீப உபாதிஷ்ட²ந், ததா³ பிதரோ த்³விதீயப்ரஹரவேலாயாம்’ ப்ரார்த²யிதும்’ க்³ரு’ஹப்ரு’ஷ்ட²ம் ஆரோஹத்|
On the morowe as they wet on their iorney and drewe nye vnto the cite Peter went vp into the toppe of ye housse to praye aboute the. vi. houre.
10 ஏதஸ்மிந் ஸமயே க்ஷுதா⁴ர்த்த: ஸந் கிஞ்சித்³ போ⁴க்தும் ஐச்ச²த் கிந்து தேஷாம் அந்நாஸாத³நஸமயே ஸ மூர்ச்சி²த: ஸந்நபதத்|
Then wexed he an hongred and wolde have eate. But whyll they made redy. He fell into a trauce
11 ததோ மேக⁴த்³வாரம்’ முக்தம்’ சதுர்பி⁴: கோணை ர்லம்பி³தம்’ ப்³ரு’ஹத்³வஸ்த்ரமிவ கிஞ்சந பா⁴ஜநம் ஆகாஸா²த் ப்ரு’தி²வீம் அவாரோஹதீதி த்³ரு’ஷ்டவாந்|
and sawe heven opened and a certayne vessell come doune vnto him as it had bene a greate shete knyt at the. iiii. corners and was let doune to the erth
12 தந்மத்⁴யே நாநப்ரகாரா க்³ராம்யவந்யபஸ²வ: கே²சரோரோகா³மிப்ரப்⁴ரு’தயோ ஜந்தவஸ்²சாஸந்|
where in wer all maner of. iiii. foted beastes of the erth and vermen and wormes and foules of the ayer.
13 அநந்தரம்’ ஹே பிதர உத்தா²ய ஹத்வா பு⁴ம்’க்ஷ்வ தம்ப்ரதீயம்’ க³க³ணீயா வாணீ ஜாதா|
And ther came a voyce to him: ryse Peter kyll and eate.
14 ததா³ பிதர: ப்ரத்யவத³த், ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ ஈத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ மா ப⁴வது, அஹம் ஏதத் காலம்’ யாவத் நிஷித்³த⁴ம் அஸு²சி வா த்³ரவ்யம்’ கிஞ்சித³பி ந பு⁴க்தவாந்|
But Peter sayde: God forbyd Lorde for I have never eaten eny thinge that is comen or vnclene.
15 தத: புநரபி தாத்³ரு’ஸீ² விஹயஸீயா வாணீ ஜாதா யத்³ ஈஸ்²வர: ஸு²சி க்ரு’தவாந் தத் த்வம்’ நிஷித்³த⁴ம்’ ந ஜாநீஹி|
And the voyce spake vnto him agayne the seconde tyme: what God hath clensed that make thou not comen.
16 இத்த²ம்’ த்ரி: ஸதி தத் பாத்ரம்’ புநராக்ரு’ஷ்டம்’ ஆகாஸ²ம் அக³ச்ச²த்|
This was done thryse and the vessell was receaved vp agayne into heven.
17 தத: பரம்’ யத்³ த³ர்ஸ²நம்’ ப்ராப்தவாந் தஸ்ய கோ பா⁴வ இத்யத்ர பிதரோ மநஸா ஸந்தே³க்³தி⁴, ஏதஸ்மிந் ஸமயே கர்ணீலியஸ்ய தே ப்ரேஷிதா மநுஷ்யா த்³வாரஸ்ய ஸந்நிதா⁴வுபஸ்தா²ய,
Whyle Peter mused in him selfe what this vision which he had sene meant beholde the men which were sent from Cornelius had made inquirance for Simons housse and stode before the dore.
18 ஸி²மோநோ க்³ரு’ஹமந்விச்ச²ந்த: ஸம்ப்ரு’ச்²யாஹூய கதி²தவந்த: பிதரநாம்நா விக்²யாதோ ய: ஸி²மோந் ஸ கிமத்ர ப்ரவஸதி?
And called out won and axed whether Simon which was also called Peter were lodged there.
19 யதா³ பிதரஸ்தத்³த³ர்ஸ²நஸ்ய பா⁴வம்’ மநஸாந்தோ³லயதி ததா³த்மா தமவத³த், பஸ்²ய த்ரயோ ஜநாஸ்த்வாம்’ ம்ரு’க³யந்தே|
Whyll Peter thought on this vision the sprete sayde vnto him: Beholde men seke the:
20 த்வம் உத்தா²யாவருஹ்ய நி: ஸந்தே³ஹம்’ தை: ஸஹ க³ச்ச² மயைவ தே ப்ரேஷிதா: |
aryse therfore get the doune and goo with them and doute not. For I have sent them.
21 தஸ்மாத் பிதரோ(அ)வருஹ்ய கர்ணீலியப்ரேரிதலோகாநாம்’ நிகடமாக³த்ய கதி²தவாந் பஸ்²யத யூயம்’ யம்’ ம்ரு’க³யத்⁴வே ஸ ஜநோஹம்’, யூயம்’ கிந்நிமித்தம் ஆக³தா: ?
Peter went doune to ye men which were sent vnto him from Cornelius and sayde Beholde I am he whom ye seke what is the cause wherfore ye are come?
22 ததஸ்தே ப்ரத்யவத³ந் கர்ணீலியநாமா ஸு²த்³த⁴ஸத்த்வ ஈஸ்²வரபராயணோ யிஹூதீ³யதே³ஸ²ஸ்தா²நாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ ஸுக்²யாத்யாபந்ந ஏக: ஸேநாபதி ர்நிஜக்³ரு’ஹம்’ த்வாமாஹூய நேதும்’ த்வத்த: கதா² ஸ்²ரோதுஞ்ச பவித்ரதூ³தேந ஸமாதி³ஷ்ட: |
And they sayde vnto him: Cornelius the captayne a iust man and won that feareth God and of good reporte amonge all the people of the Iewes was warned by an holy angell to sende for the into his housse and to heare wordes of the.
23 ததா³ பிதரஸ்தாநப்⁴யந்தரம்’ நீத்வா தேஷாமாதித்²யம்’ க்ரு’தவாந், பரே(அ)ஹநி தை: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ யாத்ராமகரோத், யாபோ²நிவாஸிநாம்’ ப்⁴ராத்ரு’ணாம்’ கியந்தோ ஜநாஸ்²ச தேந ஸஹ க³தா: |
Then called he them in and lodged them. And on ye morowe Peter wet awaye with them and certayne brethren from Ioppa accompanyed hym.
24 பரஸ்மிந் தி³வஸே கைஸரியாநக³ரமத்⁴யப்ரவேஸ²ஸமயே கர்ணீலியோ ஜ்ஞாதிப³ந்தூ⁴ந் ஆஹூயாநீய தாந் அபேக்ஷ்ய ஸ்தி²த: |
And the thyrd daye entred they into Cesaria. And Cornelius wayted for them and had called to gether his kynsmen and speciall frendes.
25 பிதரே க்³ரு’ஹ உபஸ்தி²தே கர்ணீலியஸ்தம்’ ஸாக்ஷாத்க்ரு’த்ய சரணயோ: பதித்வா ப்ராணமத்|
And as it chaunsed Peter to come in Cornelius met hym and fell doune at his fete and worshipped hym.
26 பிதரஸ்தமுத்தா²ப்ய கதி²தவாந், உத்திஷ்டா²ஹமபி மாநுஷ: |
But Peter toke him vp sayinge: stonde vp: for evyn I my silfe am a ma.
27 ததா³ கர்ணீலியேந ஸாகம் ஆலபந் க்³ரு’ஹம்’ ப்ராவிஸ²த் தந்மத்⁴யே ச ப³ஹுலோகாநாம்’ ஸமாக³மம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா தாந் அவத³த்,
And as he talked with him he cam in and founde many that were come to gether.
28 அந்யஜாதீயலோகை: மஹாலபநம்’ வா தேஷாம்’ க்³ரு’ஹமத்⁴யே ப்ரவேஸ²நம்’ யிஹூதீ³யாநாம்’ நிஷித்³த⁴ம் அஸ்தீதி யூயம் அவக³ச்ச²த²; கிந்து கமபி மாநுஷம் அவ்யவஹார்ய்யம் அஸு²சிம்’ வா ஜ்ஞாதும்’ மம நோசிதம் இதி பரமேஸ்²வரோ மாம்’ ஜ்ஞாபிதவாந்|
And he sayde vnto them: Ye do knowe how that yt ys an vnlawfull thynge for a man that is a Iewe to company or come vnto an alient: But god hath shewed me that I shuld not call eny man commen or vnclene:
29 இதி ஹேதோராஹ்வாநஸ்²ரவணமாத்ராத் காஞ்சநாபத்திம் அக்ரு’த்வா யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸமீபம் ஆக³தோஸ்மி; ப்ரு’ச்சா²மி யூயம்’ கிந்நிமித்தம்’ மாம் ஆஹூயத?
therfore came I vnto you with oute sayege naye assone as I was sent for. I axe therfore for what intent have ye sent for me?
30 ததா³ கர்ணீலிய: கதி²தவாந், அத்³ய சத்வாரி தி³நாநி ஜாதாநி ஏதாவத்³வேலாம்’ யாவத்³ அஹம் அநாஹார ஆஸந் ததஸ்த்ரு’தீயப்ரஹரே ஸதி க்³ரு’ஹே ப்ரார்த²நஸமயே தேஜோமயவஸ்த்ரப்⁴ரு’த்³ ஏகோ ஜநோ மம ஸமக்ஷம்’ திஷ்ட²ந் ஏதாம்’ கதா²ம் அகத²யத்,
And Cornelius sayde: This daye now. iiii. dayes I fasted and at the nynthe houre I prayde in my housse: and beholde a man stode before me in bright clothynge
31 ஹே கர்ணீலிய த்வதீ³யா ப்ரார்த²நா ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய கர்ணகோ³சரீபூ⁴தா தவ தா³நாதி³ ச ஸாக்ஷிஸ்வரூபம்’ பூ⁴த்வா தஸ்ய த்³ரு’ஷ்டிகோ³சரமப⁴வத்|
and sayde: Cornelius thy prayer is hearde and thyne almes dedes are had in remembraunce in the sight of God.
32 அதோ யாபோ²நக³ரம்’ ப்ரதி லோகாந் ப்ரஹித்ய தத்ர ஸமுத்³ரதீரே ஸி²மோந்நாம்ந: கஸ்யசிச்சர்ம்மகாரஸ்ய க்³ரு’ஹே ப்ரவாஸகாரீ பிதரநாம்நா விக்²யாதோ ய: ஸி²மோந் தமாஹூயய; தத: ஸ ஆக³த்ய த்வாம் உபதே³க்ஷ்யதி|
Sende therfore to Ioppa and call for Simon which is also called Peter. He is lodged in the housse of one Simon a tanner by the see syde ye wich assone as he is come shall speake vnto ye.
33 இதி காரணாத் தத்க்ஷணாத் தவ நிகடே லோகாந் ப்ரேஷிதவாந், த்வமாக³தவாந் இதி ப⁴த்³ரம்’ க்ரு’தவாந்| ஈஸ்²வரோ யாந்யாக்²யாநாநி கத²யிதும் ஆதி³ஸ²த் தாநி ஸ்²ரோதும்’ வயம்’ ஸர்வ்வே ஸாம்ப்ரதம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷாத்³ உபஸ்தி²தா: ஸ்ம: |
Then sent I for ye immediatly and thou hast well done for to come. Now are we all here present before god to heare all thynges yt are commaunded vnto the of God.
34 ததா³ பிதர இமாம்’ கதா²ம்’ கத²யிதும் ஆரப்³த⁴வாந், ஈஸ்²வரோ மநுஷ்யாணாம் அபக்ஷபாதீ ஸந்
Then Peter opened his mouth and sayde: Of a trueth I perseave that God is not parciall
35 யஸ்ய கஸ்யசித்³ தே³ஸ²ஸ்ய யோ லோகாஸ்தஸ்மாத்³பீ⁴த்வா ஸத்கர்ம்ம கரோதி ஸ தஸ்ய க்³ராஹ்யோ ப⁴வதி, ஏதஸ்ய நிஸ்²சயம் உபலப்³த⁴வாநஹம்|
but in all people he that feareth him and worketh rightewesnes is accepted with him.
36 ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ ப்ரபு⁴ ர்யோ யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்தேந ஈஸ்²வர இஸ்ராயேல்வம்’ஸா²நாம்’ நிகடே ஸுஸம்’வாத³ம்’ ப்ரேஷ்ய ஸம்மேலநஸ்ய யம்’ ஸம்’வாத³ம்’ ப்ராசாரயத் தம்’ ஸம்’வாத³ம்’ யூயம்’ ஸ்²ருதவந்த: |
Ye knowe the preachynge that God sent vnto the chyldren of Israel preachinge peace by Iesus Christe (which is Lorde over all thinges):
37 யதோ யோஹநா மஜ்ஜநே ப்ரசாரிதே ஸதி ஸ கா³லீலதே³ஸ²மாரப்⁴ய ஸமஸ்தயிஹூதீ³யதே³ஸ²ம்’ வ்யாப்நோத்;
Which preachinge was published thorow oute all Iewrye and begane in Galile after the baptyme which Iohn preached
38 ப²லத ஈஸ்²வரேண பவித்ரேணாத்மநா ஸ²க்த்யா சாபி⁴ஷிக்தோ நாஸரதீயயீஸு²: ஸ்தா²நே ஸ்தா²நே ப்⁴ரமந் ஸுக்ரியாம்’ குர்வ்வந் ஸை²தாநா க்லிஷ்டாந் ஸர்வ்வலோகாந் ஸ்வஸ்தா²ந் அகரோத், யத ஈஸ்²வரஸ்தஸ்ய ஸஹாய ஆஸீத்;
how God had annoynted Iesus of Nazareth with the holy goost and with power which Iesus went aboute doinge good and healynge all yt were oppressed of the develles for God was with him.
39 வயஞ்ச யிஹூதீ³யதே³ஸே² யிரூஸா²லம்நக³ரே ச தேந க்ரு’தாநாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ கர்ம்மணாம்’ ஸாக்ஷிணோ ப⁴வாம: | லோகாஸ்தம்’ க்ருஸே² வித்³த்⁴வா ஹதவந்த: ,
And we are witnesses of all thinges which he dyd in the londe of the Iewes and at Ierusalem whom they slew and honge on tree.
40 கிந்து த்ரு’தீயதி³வஸே ஈஸ்²வரஸ்தமுத்தா²ப்ய ஸப்ரகாஸ²ம் அத³ர்ஸ²யத்|
Him God reysed vp ye thyrde daye and shewed him openly
41 ஸர்வ்வலோகாநாம்’ நிகட இதி ந ஹி, கிந்து தஸ்மிந் ஸ்²மஸா²நாது³த்தி²தே ஸதி தேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ போ⁴ஜநம்’ பாநஞ்ச க்ரு’தவந்த ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸா² ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய மநோநீதா: ஸாக்ஷிணோ யே வயம் அஸ்மாகம்’ நிகடே தமத³ர்ஸ²யத்|
not to all the people but vnto vs witnesses chosyn before of God which ate and dronke with him after he arose from deeth.
42 ஜீவிதம்ரு’தோப⁴யலோகாநாம்’ விசாரம்’ கர்த்தும் ஈஸ்²வரோ யம்’ நியுக்தவாந் ஸ ஏவ ஸ ஜந: , இமாம்’ கதா²ம்’ ப்ரசாரயிதும்’ தஸ்மிந் ப்ரமாணம்’ தா³துஞ்ச ஸோ(அ)ஸ்மாந் ஆஜ்ஞாபயத்|
And he comaunded vs to preache vnto the people and testifie that it is he that is ordened of God a iudge of quycke and deed.
43 யஸ்தஸ்மிந் விஸ்²வஸிதி ஸ தஸ்ய நாம்நா பாபாந்முக்தோ ப⁴விஷ்யதி தஸ்மிந் ஸர்வ்வே ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நோபி ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ ஸாக்ஷ்யம்’ த³த³தி|
To him geve all the Prophetes witnes that thorowe his name shall receave remission of synnes all that beleve in him.
44 பிதரஸ்யைதத்கதா²கத²நகாலே ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ ஸ்²ரோத்ரு’ணாமுபரி பவித்ர ஆத்மாவாரோஹத்|
Whyle Peter yet spake these wordes the holy gost fell on all them which hearde the preachinge.
45 தத: பிதரேண ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் ஆக³தாஸ்த்வக்சே²தி³நோ விஸ்²வாஸிநோ லோகா அந்யதே³ஸீ²யேப்⁴ய: பவித்ர ஆத்மநி த³த்தே ஸதி
And they of ye circucision which beleved were astonyed as many as came wt Peter because that on the Gentyls also was sheed oute ye gyfte of the holy gost.
46 தே நாநாஜாதீயபா⁴ஷாபி⁴: கதா²ம்’ கத²யந்த ஈஸ்²வரம்’ ப்ரஸ²ம்’ஸந்தி, இதி த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா ஸ்²ருத்வா ச விஸ்மயம் ஆபத்³யந்த|
For they hearde them speake with tonges and magnify God. Then answered Peter:
47 ததா³ பிதர: கதி²தவாந், வயமிவ யே பவித்ரம் ஆத்மாநம்’ ப்ராப்தாஸ்தேஷாம்’ ஜலமஜ்ஜநம்’ கிம்’ கோபி நிஷேத்³து⁴ம்’ ஸ²க்நோதி?
can eny man forbyd water that these shuld not be baptised which have receaved the holy goost as well as we?
48 தத: ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்நாம்நா மஜ்ஜிதா ப⁴வதேதி தாநாஜ்ஞாபயத்| அநந்தரம்’ தே ஸ்வை: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ கதிபயதி³நாநி ஸ்தா²தும்’ ப்ரார்த²யந்த|
And he comaunded them to be baptysed in the name of the Lorde. Then prayde they him to tary a feawe dayes.
