2 கரிந்தி²ந: 8
1 ஹே ப்⁴ராதர: , மாகித³நியாதே³ஸ²ஸ்தா²ஸு ஸமிதிஷு ப்ரகாஸி²தோ ய ஈஸ்²வரஸ்யாநுக்³ரஹஸ்தமஹம்’ யுஷ்மாந் ஜ்ஞாபயாமி|
Moreover, brethren, we make known to you the grace of God bestowed upon the Assemblies of Macedonia;
2 வஸ்துதோ ப³ஹுக்லேஸ²பரீக்ஷாஸமயே தேஷாம்’ மஹாநந்தோ³(அ)தீவதீ³நதா ச வதா³ந்யதாயா: ப்ரசுரப²லம் அப²லயதாம்’|
How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
3 தே ஸ்வேச்ச²யா யதா²ஸ²க்தி கிஞ்சாதிஸ²க்தி தா³ந உத்³யுக்தா அப⁴வந் இதி மயா ப்ரமாணீக்ரியதே|
For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;
4 வயஞ்ச யத் பவித்ரலோகேப்⁴யஸ்தேஷாம்’ தா³நம் உபகாரார்த²கம் அம்’ஸ²நஞ்ச க்³ரு’ஹ்லாமஸ்தத்³ ப³ஹுநுநயேநாஸ்மாந் ப்ரார்தி²தவந்த: |
Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
5 வயம்’ யாத்³ரு’க் ப்ரத்யைக்ஷாமஹி தாத்³ரு’க்³ அக்ரு’த்வா தே(அ)க்³ரே ப்ரப⁴வே தத: பரம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்யேச்ச²யாஸ்மப்⁴யமபி ஸ்வாந் ந்யவேத³யந்|
And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.
6 அதோ ஹேதோஸ்த்வம்’ யதா²ரப்³த⁴வாந் ததை²வ கரிந்தி²நாம்’ மத்⁴யே(அ)பி தத்³ தா³நக்³ரஹணம்’ ஸாத⁴யேதி யுஷ்மாந் அதி⁴ வயம்’ தீதம்’ ப்ரார்த²யாமஹி|
Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also.
7 அதோ விஸ்²வாஸோ வாக்படுதா ஜ்ஞாநம்’ ஸர்வ்வோத்ஸாஹோ (அ)ஸ்மாஸு ப்ரேம சைதை ர்கு³ணை ர்யூயம்’ யதா²பராந் அதிஸே²த்⁴வே ததை²வைதேந கு³ணேநாப்யதிஸே²த்⁴வம்’|
Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.
8 ஏதத்³ அஹம் ஆஜ்ஞயா கத²யாமீதி நஹி கிந்த்வந்யேஷாம் உத்ஸாஹகாரணாத்³ யுஷ்மாகமபி ப்ரேம்ந: ஸாரல்யம்’ பரீக்ஷிதுமிச்ச²தா மயைதத் கத்²யதே|
I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.
9 யூயஞ்சாஸ்மத்ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்யாநுக்³ரஹம்’ ஜாநீத² யதஸ்தஸ்ய நிர்த⁴நத்வேந யூயம்’ யத்³ த⁴நிநோ ப⁴வத² தத³ர்த²ம்’ ஸ த⁴நீ ஸந்நபி யுஷ்மத்க்ரு’தே நிர்த⁴நோ(அ)ப⁴வத்|
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
10 ஏதஸ்மிந் அஹம்’ யுஷ்மாந் ஸ்வவிசாரம்’ ஜ்ஞாபயாமி| க³தம்’ ஸம்’வத்ஸரம் ஆரப்⁴ய யூயம்’ கேவலம்’ கர்ம்ம கர்த்தம்’ தந்நஹி கிந்த்விச்சு²கதாம்’ ப்ரகாஸ²யிதுமப்யுபாக்ராப்⁴யத்⁴வம்’ ததோ ஹேதோ ர்யுஷ்மத்க்ரு’தே மம மந்த்ரணா ப⁴த்³ரா|
And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.
11 அதோ (அ)து⁴நா தத்கர்ம்மஸாத⁴நம்’ யுஷ்மாபி⁴: க்ரியதாம்’ தேந யத்³வத்³ இச்சு²கதாயாம் உத்ஸாஹஸ்தத்³வத்³ ஏகைகஸ்ய ஸம்பத³நுஸாரேண கர்ம்மஸாத⁴நம் அபி ஜநிஷ்யதே|
Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.
12 யஸ்மிந் இச்சு²கதா வித்³யதே தேந யந்ந தா⁴ர்ய்யதே தஸ்மாத் ஸோ(அ)நுக்³ரு’ஹ்யத இதி நஹி கிந்து யத்³ தா⁴ர்ய்யதே தஸ்மாதே³வ|
For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
13 யத இதரேஷாம்’ விராமேண யுஷ்மாகஞ்ச க்லேஸே²ந ப⁴விதவ்யம்’ தந்நஹி கிந்து ஸமதயைவ|
For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:
14 வர்த்தமாநஸமயே யுஷ்மாகம்’ த⁴நாதி⁴க்யேந தேஷாம்’ த⁴நந்யூநதா பூரயிதவ்யா தஸ்மாத் தேஷாமப்யாதி⁴க்யேந யுஷ்மாகம்’ ந்யூநதா பூரயிஷ்யதே தேந ஸமதா ஜநிஷ்யதே|
But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:
15 ததே³வ ஸா²ஸ்த்ரே(அ)பி லிகி²தம் ஆஸ்தே யதா², யேநாதி⁴கம்’ ஸம்’க்³ரு’ஹீதம்’ தஸ்யாதி⁴கம்’ நாப⁴வத் யேந சால்பம்’ ஸம்’க்³ரு’ஹீதம்’ தஸ்யால்பம்’ நாப⁴வத்|
As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.
16 யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஹிதாய தீதஸ்ய மநஸி ய ஈஸ்²வர இமம் உத்³யோக³ம்’ ஜநிதவாந் ஸ த⁴ந்யோ ப⁴வது|
But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you.
17 தீதோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரார்த²நாம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீதவாந் கிஞ்ச ஸ்வயம் உத்³யுக்த: ஸந் ஸ்வேச்ச²யா யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபம்’ க³தவாந்|
For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you.
18 தேந ஸஹ யோ(அ)பர ஏகோ ப்⁴ராதாஸ்மாபி⁴: ப்ரேஷித: ஸுஸம்’வாதா³த் தஸ்ய ஸுக்²யாத்யா ஸர்வ்வா: ஸமிதயோ வ்யாப்தா: |
And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the Assemblies;
19 ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்கௌ³ரவாய யுஷ்மாகம் இச்சு²கதாயை ச ஸ ஸமிதிபி⁴ரேதஸ்யை தா³நஸேவாயை அஸ்மாகம்’ ஸங்கி³த்வே ந்யயோஜ்யத|
And not that only, but who was also chosen of the Assemblies to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind:
20 யதோ யா மஹோபாயநஸேவாஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்விதீ⁴யதே தாமதி⁴ வயம்’ யத் கேநாபி ந நிந்த்³யாமஹே தத³ர்த²ம்’ யதாமஹே|
Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:
21 யத: கேவலம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴: ஸாக்ஷாத் தந்நஹி கிந்து மாநவாநாமபி ஸாக்ஷாத் ஸதா³சாரம்’ கர்த்தும் ஆலோசாமஹே|
Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
22 தாப்⁴யாம்’ ஸஹாபர ஏகோ யோ ப்⁴ராதாஸ்மாபி⁴: ப்ரேஷித: ஸோ(அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்ப³ஹுவிஷயேஷு ப³ஹவாராந் பரீக்ஷித உத்³யோகீ³வ ப்ரகாஸி²தஸ்²ச கிந்த்வது⁴நா யுஷ்மாஸு த்³ரு’ட⁴விஸ்²வாஸாத் தஸ்யோத்ஸாஹோ ப³ஹு வவ்ரு’தே⁴|
And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the great confidence which I have in you.
23 யதி³ கஸ்²சித் தீதஸ்ய தத்த்வம்’ ஜிஜ்ஞாஸதே தர்ஹி ஸ மம ஸஹபா⁴கீ³ யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே ஸஹகாரீ ச, அபரயோ ர்ப்⁴ராத்ரோஸ்தத்த்வம்’ வா யதி³ ஜிஜ்ஞாஸதே தர்ஹி தௌ ஸமிதீநாம்’ தூ³தௌ க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ப்ரதிபி³ம்பௌ³ சேதி தேந ஜ்ஞாயதாம்’|
Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the Assemblies, and the glory of Christ.
24 அதோ ஹேதோ: ஸமிதீநாம்’ ஸமக்ஷம்’ யுஷ்மத்ப்ரேம்நோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ ஸ்²லாகா⁴யாஸ்²ச ப்ராமாண்யம்’ தாந் ப்ரதி யுஷ்மாபி⁴: ப்ரகாஸ²யிதவ்யம்’|
Wherefore shew ye to them, and before the Assemblies, the proof of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf.
