කලසිනඃ 1
1 ඊශ්වරස්‍යේච්ඡයා යීශුඛ්‍රීෂ්ටස්‍ය ප්‍රේරිතඃ පෞලස්තීමථියෝ භ්‍රාතා ච කලසීනගරස්ථාන් පවිත්‍රාන් විශ්වස්තාන් ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටාශ්‍රිතභ්‍රාතෘන් ප්‍රති පත්‍රං ලිඛතඃ|
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
2 අස්මාකං තාත ඊශ්වරඃ ප්‍රභු ර‍්‍යීශුඛ්‍රීෂ්ටශ්ච යුෂ්මාන් ප්‍රති ප්‍රසාදං ශාන්තිඤ්ච ක්‍රියාස්තාං|
To the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace and peace to you from God our Father.
3 ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටේ යීශෞ යුෂ්මාකං විශ්වාසස්‍ය සර්ව්වාන් පවිත්‍රලෝකාන් ප්‍රති ප්‍රේම්නශ්ච වාර්ත්තාං ශ්‍රුත්වා
We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,
4 වයං සදා යුෂ්මදර්ථං ප්‍රාර්ථනාං කුර්ව්වන්තඃ ස්වර්ගේ නිහිතායා යුෂ්මාකං භාවිසම්පදඃ කාරණාත් ස්වකීයප්‍රභෝ ර‍්‍යීශුඛ්‍රීෂ්ටස්‍ය තාතම් ඊශ්වරං ධන්‍යං වදාමඃ|
because we have heard about your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all the saints—
5 යූයං තස්‍යා භාවිසම්පදෝ වාර්ත්තාං යයා සුසංවාදරූපිණ්‍යා සත්‍යවාණ්‍යා ඥාපිතාඃ
the faith and love proceeding from the hope stored up for you in heaven, of which you have already heard in the word of truth, the gospel
6 සා යද්වත් කෘස්නං ජගද් අභිගච්ඡති තද්වද් යුෂ්මාන් අප්‍යභ්‍යගමත්, යූයඤ්ච යද් දිනම් ආරභ්‍යේශ්වරස්‍යානුග්‍රහස්‍ය වාර්ත්තාං ශ්‍රුත්වා සත්‍යරූපේණ ඥාතවන්තස්තදාරභ්‍ය යුෂ්මාකං මධ්‍යේ(අ)පි ඵලති වර්ද්ධතේ ච|
that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood the grace of God.
7 අස්මාකං ප්‍රියඃ සහදාසෝ යුෂ්මාකං කෘතේ ච ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටස්‍ය විශ්වස්තපරිචාරකෝ ය ඉපඵ්‍රාස්තද් වාක්‍යං
You learned it from Epaphras, our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf,
8 යුෂ්මාන් ආදිෂ්ටවාන් ස ඒවාස්මාන් ආත්මනා ජනිතං යුෂ්මාකං ප්‍රේම ඥාපිතවාන්|
and who also informed us of your love in the Spirit.
9 වයං යද් දිනම් ආරභ්‍ය තාං වාර්ත්තාං ශ්‍රුතවන්තස්තදාරභ්‍ය නිරන්තරං යුෂ්මාකං කෘතේ ප්‍රාර්ථනාං කුර්ම්මඃ ඵලතෝ යූයං යත් පූර්ණාභ්‍යාම් ආත්මිකඥානවුද්ධිභ්‍යාම් ඊශ්වරස්‍යාභිතමං සම්පූර්ණරූපේණාවගච්ඡේත,
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
10 ප්‍රභෝ ර‍්‍යෝග්‍යං සර්ව්වථා සන්තෝෂජනකඤ්චාචාරං කුර‍්‍ය්‍යාතාර්ථත ඊශ්වරඥානේ වර්ද්ධමානාඃ සර්ව්වසත්කර්ම්මරූපං ඵලං ඵලේත,
so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
11 යථා චේශ්වරස්‍ය මහිමයුක්තයා ශක්ත්‍යා සානන්දේන පූර්ණාං සහිෂ්ණුතාං තිතික්‍ෂාඤ්චාචරිතුං ශක්‍ෂ්‍යථ තාදෘශේන පූර්ණබලේන යද් බලවන්තෝ භවේත,
being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have full endurance and patience, and joyfully
12 යශ්ච පිතා තේජෝවාසිනාං පවිත්‍රලෝකානාම් අධිකාරස්‍යාංශිත්වායාස්මාන් යෝග්‍යාන් කෘතවාන් තං යද් ධන්‍යං වදේත වරම් ඒනං යාචාමහේ|
giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light.
13 යතඃ සෝ(අ)ස්මාන් තිමිරස්‍ය කර්ත්තෘත්වාද් උද්ධෘත්‍ය ස්වකීයස්‍ය ප්‍රියපුත්‍රස්‍ය රාජ්‍යේ ස්ථාපිතවාන්|
He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of His beloved Son,
14 තස්මාත් පුත්‍රාද් වයං පරිත්‍රාණම් අර්ථතඃ පාපමෝචනං ප්‍රාප්තවන්තඃ|
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
15 ස චාදෘශ්‍යස්‍යේශ්වරස්‍ය ප්‍රතිමූර්තිඃ කෘත්ස්නායාඃ සෘෂ්ටේරාදිකර්ත්තා ච|
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16 යතඃ සර්ව්වමේව තේන සසෘජේ සිංහාසනරාජත්වපරාක්‍රමාදීනි ස්වර්ගමර්ත්ත්‍යස්ථිතානි දෘශ්‍යාදෘශ්‍යානි වස්තූනි සර්ව්වාණි තේනෛව තස්මෛ ච සසෘජිරේ|
For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him.
17 ස සර්ව්වේෂාම් ආදිඃ සර්ව්වේෂාං ස්ථිතිකාරකශ්ච|
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
18 ස ඒව සමිතිරූපායාස්තනෝ ර්මූර්ද්ධා කිඤ්ච සර්ව්වවිෂයේ ස යද් අග්‍රියෝ භවේත් තදර්ථං ස ඒව මෘතානාං මධ්‍යාත් ප්‍රථමත උත්ථිතෝ(අ)ග්‍රශ්ච|
And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and firstborn from among the dead, so that in all things He may have preeminence.
19 යත ඊශ්වරස්‍ය කෘත්ස්නං පූර්ණත්වං තමේවාවාසයිතුං
For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him,
20 ක්‍රුශේ පාතිතේන තස්‍ය රක්තේන සන්ධිං විධාය තේනෛව ස්වර්ගමර්ත්ත්‍යස්ථිතානි සර්ව්වාණි ස්වේන සහ සන්ධාපයිතුඤ්චේශ්වරේණාභිලේෂේ|
and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through the blood of His cross.
21 පූර්ව්වං දූරස්ථා දුෂ්ක්‍රියාරතමනස්කත්වාත් තස්‍ය රිපවශ්චාස්ත යේ යූයං තාන් යුෂ්මාන් අපි ස ඉදානීං තස්‍ය මාංසලශරීරේ මරණේන ස්වේන සහ සන්ධාපිතවාන්|
Once you were alienated from God and were hostile in your minds, engaging in evil deeds.
22 යතඃ ස ස්වසම්මුඛේ පවිත්‍රාන් නිෂ්කලඞ්කාන් අනින්දනීයාංශ්ච යුෂ්මාන් ස්ථාපයිතුම් ඉච්ඡති|
But now He has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy, unblemished, and blameless in His presence—
23 කින්ත්වේතදර්ථං යුෂ්මාභි ර්බද්ධමූලෛඃ සුස්ථිරෛශ්ච භවිතව්‍යම්, ආකාශමණ්ඩලස්‍යාධඃස්ථිතානාං සර්ව්වලෝකානාං මධ්‍යේ ච ඝුෂ්‍යමාණෝ යඃ සුසංවාදෝ යුෂ්මාභිරශ්‍රාවි තජ්ජාතායාං ප්‍රත්‍යාශායාං යුෂ්මාභිරචලෛ ර්භවිතව්‍යං|
if indeed you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope of the gospel you heard, which has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
24 තස්‍ය සුසංවාදස්‍යෛකඃ පරිචාරකෝ යෝ(අ)හං පෞලඃ සෝ(අ)හම් ඉදානීම් ආනන්දේන යුෂ්මදර්ථං දුඃඛානි සහේ ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටස්‍ය ක්ලේශභෝගස්‍ය යෝංශෝ(අ)පූර්ණස්තමේව තස්‍ය තනෝඃ සමිතේඃ කෘතේ ස්වශරීරේ පූරයාමි ච|
Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions for the sake of His body, which is the church.
25 යත ඊශ්වරස්‍ය මන්ත්‍රණයා යුෂ්මදර්ථම් ඊශ්වරීයවාක්‍යස්‍ය ප්‍රචාරස්‍ය භාරෝ මයි සමපිතස්තස්මාද් අහං තස්‍යාඃ සමිතේඃ පරිචාරකෝ(අ)භවං|
I became its servant by the commission God gave me to fully proclaim to you the word of God,
26 තත් නිගූඪං වාක්‍යං පූර්ව්වයුගේෂු පූර්ව්වපුරුෂේභ්‍යඃ ප්‍රච්ඡන්නම් ආසීත් කින්ත්විදානීං තස්‍ය පවිත්‍රලෝකානාං සන්නිධෞ තේන ප්‍රාකාශ්‍යත| (aiōn g165)
the mystery that was hidden for ages and generations but is now revealed to His saints. (aiōn g165)
27 යතෝ භින්නජාතීයානාං මධ්‍යේ තත් නිගූඪවාක්‍යං කීදෘග්ගෞරවනිධිසම්බලිතං තත් පවිත්‍රලෝකාන් ඥාපයිතුම් ඊශ්වරෝ(අ)භ්‍යලෂත්| යුෂ්මන්මධ්‍යවර්ත්තී ඛ්‍රීෂ්ට ඒව ස නිධි ර්ගෛරවාශාභූමිශ්ච|
To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
28 තස්මාද් වයං තමේව ඝෝෂයන්තෝ යද් ඒකෛකං මානවං සිද්ධීභූතං ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටේ ස්ථාපයේම තදර්ථමේකෛකං මානවං ප්‍රබෝධයාමඃ පූර්ණඥානේන චෛකෛකං මානවං උපදිශාමඃ|
We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.
29 ඒතදර්ථං තස්‍ය යා ශක්තිඃ ප්‍රබලරූපේණ මම මධ්‍යේ ප්‍රකාශතේ තයාහං යතමානඃ ශ්‍රාභ්‍යාමි|
To this end I also labor, striving with all His energy working powerfully within me.
