ਮਥਿਃ 24

1 ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਯੀਸ਼ੁ ਰ੍ਯਦਾ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਾਦ੍ ਬਹਿ ਰ੍ਗੱਛਤਿ, ਤਦਾਨੀਂ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਸ੍ਤੰ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਨਿਰ੍ੰਮਾਣੰ ਦਰ੍ਸ਼ਯਿਤੁਮਾਗਤਾਃ|

And Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way; and his disciples came to him to shew him the buildings of the temple.

2 ਤਤੋ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤਾਨੁਵਾਚ, ਯੂਯੰ ਕਿਮੇਤਾਨਿ ਨ ਪਸ਼੍ਯਥ? ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨਹੰ ਸਤ੍ਯੰ ਵਦਾਮਿ, ਏਤੰਨਿਚਯਨਸ੍ਯ ਪਾਸ਼਼ਾਣੈਕਮਪ੍ਯਨ੍ਯਪਾਸ਼਼ਾਣੇਪਰਿ ਨ ਸ੍ਥਾਸ੍ਯਤਿ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਣਿ ਭੂਮਿਸਾਤ੍ ਕਾਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤੇ|

But he answered and said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

3 ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਜੈਤੁਨਪਰ੍ੱਵਤੋਪਰਿ ਸਮੁਪਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਟੇ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਮੀਪਮਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਗੁਪ੍ਤੰ ਪਪ੍ਰੱਛੁਃ, ਏਤਾ ਘਟਨਾਃ ਕਦਾ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ? ਭਵਤ ਆਗਮਨਸ੍ਯ ਯੁਗਾਨ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਚ ਕਿੰ ਲਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਮ? ਤਦਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਵਦਤੁ| (aiōn g165)

And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? (aiōn g165)

4 ਤਦਾਨੀਂ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤਾਨਵੋਚਤ੍, ਅਵਧਦ੍ੱਵੰ, ਕੋਪਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਨ ਭ੍ਰਮਯੇਤ੍|

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man lead you astray.

5 ਬਹਵੋ ਮਮ ਨਾਮ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹ੍ਲਨ੍ਤ ਆਗਮਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ, ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੋ(ਅ)ਹਮੇਵੇਤਿ ਵਾਚੰ ਵਦਨ੍ਤੋ ਬਹੂਨ੍ ਭ੍ਰਮਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ|

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall lead many astray.

6 ਯੂਯਞ੍ਚ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮਸ੍ਯ ਰਣਸ੍ਯ ਚਾਡਮ੍ਬਰੰ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਸ਼਼੍ਯਥ, ਅਵਧਦ੍ੱਵੰ ਤੇਨ ਚਞ੍ਚਲਾ ਮਾ ਭਵਤ, ਏਤਾਨ੍ਯਵਸ਼੍ਯੰ ਘਟਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤੇ, ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਤਦਾ ਯੁਗਾਨ੍ਤੋ ਨਹਿ|

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for [these things] must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet.

7 ਅਪਰੰ ਦੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਯ ਵਿਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੋ ਦੇਸ਼ੋ ਰਾਜ੍ਯਸ੍ਯ ਵਿਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੋ ਰਾਜ੍ਯੰ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ, ਸ੍ਥਾਨੇ ਸ੍ਥਾਨੇ ਚ ਦੁਰ੍ਭਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੰ ਮਹਾਮਾਰੀ ਭੂਕਮ੍ਪਸ਼੍ਚ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ,

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines and earthquakes in divers places.

8 ਏਤਾਨਿ ਦੁਃਖੋਪਕ੍ਰਮਾਃ|

But all these things are the beginning of travail.

9 ਤਦਾਨੀਂ ਲੋਕਾ ਦੁਃਖੰ ਭੋਜਯਿਤੁੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਪਰਕਰੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਸਮਰ੍ਪਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ ਹਨਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ ਚ, ਤਥਾ ਮਮ ਨਾਮਕਾਰਣਾਦ੍ ਯੂਯੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਮਨੁਜਾਨਾਂ ਸਮੀਪੇ ਘ੍ਰੁʼਣਾਰ੍ਹਾ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਥ|

Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name’s sake.

10 ਬਹੁਸ਼਼ੁ ਵਿਘ੍ਨੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤਵਤ੍ਸੁ ਪਰਸ੍ਪਰਮ੍ ਰੁʼਤੀਯਾਂ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਤ੍ਸੁ ਚ ਏਕੋ(ਅ)ਪਰੰ ਪਰਕਰੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਸਮਰ੍ਪਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|

And then shall many stumble, and shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another.

11 ਤਥਾ ਬਹਵੋ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼ਾਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਦਿਨ ਉਪਸ੍ਥਾਯ ਬਹੂਨ੍ ਭ੍ਰਮਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ|

And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray.

12 ਦੁਸ਼਼੍ਕਰ੍ੰਮਣਾਂ ਬਾਹੁਲ੍ਯਾਞ੍ਚ ਬਹੂਨਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸ਼ੀਤਲੰ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|

And because iniquity shall be multiplied, the love of the many shall wax cold.

13 ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯਃ ਕਸ਼੍ਚਿਤ੍ ਸ਼ੇਸ਼਼ੰ ਯਾਵਦ੍ ਧੈਰ੍ੱਯਮਾਸ਼੍ਰਯਤੇ, ਸਏਵ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ|

But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

14 ਅਪਰੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਮਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੀ ਭਵਿਤੁੰ ਰਾਜਸ੍ਯ ਸ਼ੁਭਸਮਾਚਾਰਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਜਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ, ਏਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਿ ਸਤਿ ਯੁਗਾਨ੍ਤ ਉਪਸ੍ਥਾਸ੍ਯਤਿ|

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.

15 ਅਤੋ ਯਤ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਨਾਸ਼ਕ੍ਰੁʼਦ੍ਘ੍ਰੁʼਣਾਰ੍ਹੰ ਵਸ੍ਤੁ ਦਾਨਿਯੇਲ੍ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਦਿਨਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਕ੍ਤੰ ਤਦ੍ ਯਦਾ ਪੁਣ੍ਯਸ੍ਥਾਨੇ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਿਤੰ ਦ੍ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਥ, (ਯਃ ਪਠਤਿ, ਸ ਬੁਧ੍ਯਤਾਂ)

When therefore ye see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let him that readeth understand),

16 ਤਦਾਨੀਂ ਯੇ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਦੇਸ਼ੇ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਨ੍ਤਿ, ਤੇ ਪਰ੍ੱਵਤੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਪਲਾਯਨ੍ਤਾਂ|

then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains:

17 ਯਃ ਕਸ਼੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹਪ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਠੇ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ, ਸ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹਾਤ੍ ਕਿਮਪਿ ਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਵਾਨੇਤੁਮ੍ ਅਧੇ ਨਾਵਰੋਹੇਤ੍|

let him that is on the housetop not go down to take out the things that are in his house:

18 ਯਸ਼੍ਚ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੇਤ੍ਰੇ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ, ਸੋਪਿ ਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਮਾਨੇਤੁੰ ਪਰਾਵ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਨ ਯਾਯਾਤ੍|

and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloke.

19 ਤਦਾਨੀਂ ਗਰ੍ਭਿਣੀਸ੍ਤਨ੍ਯਪਾਯਯਿਤ੍ਰੀਣਾਂ ਦੁਰ੍ਗਤਿ ਰ੍ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|

But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days!

20 ਅਤੋ ਯਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪਲਾਯਨੰ ਸ਼ੀਤਕਾਲੇ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਰਾਮਵਾਰੇ ਵਾ ਯੰਨ ਭਵੇਤ੍, ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯਧ੍ਵਮ੍|

And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on a sabbath:

21 ਆ ਜਗਦਾਰਮ੍ਭਾਦ੍ ਏਤਤ੍ਕਾਲਪਰ੍ੱਯਨਨ੍ਤੰ ਯਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਃ ਕਦਾਪਿ ਨਾਭਵਤ੍ ਨ ਚ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੋ ਮਹਾਕ੍ਲੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਤਦਾਨੀਮ੍ ਉਪਸ੍ਥਾਸ੍ਯਤਿ|

for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be.

22 ਤਸ੍ਯ ਕ੍ਲੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਯ ਸਮਯੋ ਯਦਿ ਹ੍ਸ੍ਵੋ ਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਯੇਤ, ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਕਸ੍ਯਾਪਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਿਨੋ ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਣੰ ਭਵਿਤੁੰ ਨ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੁਯਾਤ੍, ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਮਨੋਨੀਤਮਨੁਜਾਨਾਂ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੇ ਸ ਕਾਲੋ ਹ੍ਸ੍ਵੀਕਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ|

And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

23 ਅਪਰਞ੍ਚ ਪਸ਼੍ਯਤ, ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੋ(ਅ)ਤ੍ਰ ਵਿਦ੍ਯਤੇ, ਵਾ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਵਿਦ੍ਯਤੇ, ਤਦਾਨੀਂ ਯਦੀ ਕਸ਼੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ ਇਤਿ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਵਦਤਿ, ਤਥਾਪਿ ਤਤ੍ ਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ੍|

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is the Christ, or, Here; believe [it] not.

24 ਯਤੋ ਭਾਕ੍ਤਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਾ ਭਾਕ੍ਤਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਦਿਨਸ਼੍ਚ ਉਪਸ੍ਥਾਯ ਯਾਨਿ ਮਹਨ੍ਤਿ ਲਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਣਿ ਚਿਤ੍ਰਕਰ੍ੰਮਾਣਿ ਚ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ, ਤੈ ਰ੍ਯਦਿ ਸਮ੍ਭਵੇਤ੍ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਮਨੋਨੀਤਮਾਨਵਾ ਅਪਿ ਭ੍ਰਾਮਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤੇ|

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

25 ਪਸ਼੍ਯਤ, ਘਟਨਾਤਃ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਮ੍ ਅਵਾਦਿਸ਼਼ਮ੍|

Behold, I have told you beforehand.

26 ਅਤਃ ਪਸ਼੍ਯਤ, ਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ੍ਤਰੇ ਵਿਦ੍ਯਤ ਇਤਿ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੇ ਕੇਨਚਿਤ੍ ਕਥਿਤੇਪਿ ਬਹਿ ਰ੍ਮਾ ਗੱਛਤ, ਵਾ ਪਸ਼੍ਯਤ, ਸੋਨ੍ਤਃਪੁਰੇ ਵਿਦ੍ਯਤੇ, ਏਤਦ੍ਵਾਕ੍ਯ ਉਕ੍ਤੇਪਿ ਮਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ|

If therefore they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the wilderness; go not forth: Behold, he is in the inner chambers; believe [it] not.

27 ਯਤੋ ਯਥਾ ਵਿਦ੍ਯੁਤ੍ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਦਿਸ਼ੋ ਨਿਰ੍ਗਤ੍ਯ ਪਸ਼੍ਚਿਮਦਿਸ਼ੰ ਯਾਵਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਤੇ, ਤਥਾ ਮਾਨੁਸ਼਼ਪੁਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਯਾਪ੍ਯਾਗਮਨੰ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|

For as the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen even unto the west; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.

28 ਯਤ੍ਰ ਸ਼ਵਸ੍ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ, ਤਤ੍ਰੇਵ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਧ੍ਰਾ ਮਿਲਨ੍ਤਿ|

Wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29 ਅਪਰੰ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਕ੍ਲੇਸ਼ਸਮਯਸ੍ਯਾਵ੍ਯਵਹਿਤਪਰਤ੍ਰ ਸੂਰ੍ੱਯਸ੍ਯ ਤੇਜੋ ਲੋਪ੍ਸ੍ਯਤੇ, ਚਨ੍ਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਜ੍ਯੋਸ੍ਨਾਂ ਨ ਕਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ, ਨਭਸੋ ਨਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਤ੍ਰਾਣਿ ਪਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ, ਗਗਣੀਯਾ ਗ੍ਰਹਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਵਿਚਲਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ|

But immediately, after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 ਤਦਾਨੀਮ੍ ਆਕਾਸ਼ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਮਨੁਜਸੁਤਸ੍ਯ ਲਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਮ ਦਰ੍ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ, ਤਤੋ ਨਿਜਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮੇਣ ਮਹਾਤੇਜਸਾ ਚ ਮੇਘਾਰੂਢੰ ਮਨੁਜਸੁਤੰ ਨਭਸਾਗੱਛਨ੍ਤੰ ਵਿਲੋਕ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰੁʼਥਿਵ੍ਯਾਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਵੰਸ਼ੀਯਾ ਵਿਲਪਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ|

and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 ਤਦਾਨੀਂ ਸ ਮਹਾਸ਼ਬ੍ਦਾਯਮਾਨਤੂਰ੍ੱਯਾ ਵਾਦਕਾਨ੍ ਨਿਜਦੂਤਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਹੇਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ, ਤੇ ਵ੍ਯੋਮ੍ਨ ਏਕਸੀਮਾਤੋ(ਅ)ਪਰਸੀਮਾਂ ਯਾਵਤ੍ ਚਤੁਰ੍ਦਿਸ਼ਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਮਨੋਨੀਤਜਨਾਨ੍ ਆਨੀਯ ਮੇਲਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ|

And he shall send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32 ਉਡੁਮ੍ਬਰਪਾਦਪਸ੍ਯ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਨ੍ਤੰ ਸ਼ਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਧ੍ਵੰ; ਯਦਾ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਨਵੀਨਾਃ ਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਜਾਯਨ੍ਤੇ, ਪੱਲਵਾਦਿਸ਼੍ਚ ਨਿਰ੍ਗੱਛਤਿ, ਤਦਾ ਨਿਦਾਘਕਾਲਃ ਸਵਿਧੋ ਭਵਤੀਤਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਜਾਨੀਥ;

Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh;

33 ਤਦ੍ਵਦ੍ ਏਤਾ ਘਟਨਾ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਵਾ ਸ ਸਮਯੋ ਦ੍ਵਾਰ ਉਪਾਸ੍ਥਾਦ੍ ਇਤਿ ਜਾਨੀਤ|

even so ye also, when ye see all these things, know ye that he is nigh, [even] at the doors.

34 ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨਹੰ ਤਥ੍ਯੰ ਵਦਾਮਿ, ਇਦਾਨੀਨ੍ਤਨਜਨਾਨਾਂ ਗਮਨਾਤ੍ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵਮੇਵ ਤਾਨਿ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਣਿ ਘਟਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤੇ|

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished.

35 ਨਭੋਮੇਦਿਨ੍ਯੋ ਰ੍ਲੁਪ੍ਤਯੋਰਪਿ ਮਮ ਵਾਕ੍ ਕਦਾਪਿ ਨ ਲੋਪ੍ਸ੍ਯਤੇ|

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36 ਅਪਰੰ ਮਮ ਤਾਤੰ ਵਿਨਾ ਮਾਨੁਸ਼਼ਃ ਸ੍ਵਰ੍ਗਸ੍ਥੋ ਦੂਤੋ ਵਾ ਕੋਪਿ ਤੱਦਿਨੰ ਤੱਦਣ੍ਡਞ੍ਚ ਨ ਜ੍ਞਾਪਯਤਿ|

But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.

37 ਅਪਰੰ ਨੋਹੇ ਵਿਦ੍ਯਮਾਨੇ ਯਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਮਭਵਤ੍ ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੰ ਮਨੁਜਸੁਤਸ੍ਯਾਗਮਨਕਾਲੇਪਿ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|

And as [were] the days of Noah, so shall be the coming of the Son of man.

38 ਫਲਤੋ ਜਲਾਪ੍ਲਾਵਨਾਤ੍ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਯੱਦਿਨੰ ਯਾਵਤ੍ ਨੋਹਃ ਪੋਤੰ ਨਾਰੋਹਤ੍, ਤਾਵਤ੍ਕਾਲੰ ਯਥਾ ਮਨੁਸ਼਼੍ਯਾ ਭੋਜਨੇ ਪਾਨੇ ਵਿਵਹਨੇ ਵਿਵਾਹਨੇ ਚ ਪ੍ਰਵ੍ਰੁʼੱਤਾ ਆਸਨ੍;

For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,

39 ਅਪਰਮ੍ ਆਪ੍ਲਾਵਿਤੋਯਮਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਯਾਵਤ੍ ਸਕਲਮਨੁਜਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਲਾਵਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਨਾਨਯਤ੍, ਤਾਵਤ੍ ਤੇ ਯਥਾ ਨ ਵਿਦਾਮਾਸੁਃ, ਤਥਾ ਮਨੁਜਸੁਤਾਗਮਨੇਪਿ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|

and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.

40 ਤਦਾ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੇਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਥਿਤਯੋਰ੍ਦ੍ਵਯੋਰੇਕੋ ਧਾਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ, ਅਪਰਸ੍ਤ੍ਯਾਜਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ|

Then shall two men be in the field; one is taken, and one is left:

41 ਤਥਾ ਪੇਸ਼਼ਣ੍ਯਾ ਪਿੰਸ਼਼ਤ੍ਯੋਰੁਭਯੋ ਰ੍ਯੋਸ਼਼ਿਤੋਰੇਕਾ ਧਾਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ(ਅ)ਪਰਾ ਤ੍ਯਾਜਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ|

two women [shall be] grinding at the mill; one is taken, and one is left.

42 ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਃ ਕਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਦਣ੍ਡ ਆਗਮਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ, ਤਦ੍ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿ ਰ੍ਨਾਵਗਮ੍ਯਤੇ, ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਜਾਗ੍ਰਤਃ ਸਨ੍ਤਸ੍ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤ|

Watch therefore: for ye know not on what day your Lord cometh.

43 ਕੁਤ੍ਰ ਯਾਮੇ ਸ੍ਤੇਨ ਆਗਮਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੀਤਿ ਚੇਦ੍ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹਸ੍ਥੋ ਜ੍ਞਾਤੁਮ੍ ਅਸ਼ਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਤ੍, ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਜਾਗਰਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਤੰ ਸਨ੍ਧਿੰ ਕਰ੍ੱਤਿਤੁਮ੍ ਅਵਾਰਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤ੍ ਤਦ੍ ਜਾਨੀਤ|

But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through.

44 ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਰਵਧੀਯਤਾਂ, ਯਤੋ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿ ਰ੍ਯਤ੍ਰ ਨ ਬੁਧ੍ਯਤੇ, ਤਤ੍ਰੈਵ ਦਣ੍ਡੇ ਮਨੁਜਸੁਤ ਆਯਾਸ੍ਯਤਿ|

Therefore be ye also ready: for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰ੍ਨਿਜਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਨ੍ ਯਥਾਕਾਲੰ ਭੋਜਯਿਤੁੰ ਯੰ ਦਾਸਮ੍ ਅਧ੍ਯਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਤਿ, ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੋ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸ੍ਯੋ ਧੀਮਾਨ੍ ਦਾਸਃ ਕਃ?

Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath set over his household, to give them their food in due season?

46 ਪ੍ਰਭੁਰਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਯੰ ਦਾਸੰ ਤਥਾਚਰਨ੍ਤੰ ਵੀਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਤੇ, ਸਏਵ ਧਨ੍ਯਃ|

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨਹੰ ਸਤ੍ਯੰ ਵਦਾਮਿ, ਸ ਤੰ ਨਿਜਸਰ੍ੱਵਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਯਾਧਿਪੰ ਕਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|

Verily I say unto you, that he will set him over all that he hath.

48 ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਰਾਗਨ੍ਤੁੰ ਵਿਲਮ੍ਬਤ ਇਤਿ ਮਨਸਿ ਚਿਨ੍ਤਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਯੋ ਦੁਸ਼਼੍ਟੋ ਦਾਸੋ

But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord tarrieth;

49 (ਅ)ਪਰਦਾਸਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਹਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ ਮੱਤਾਨਾਂ ਸਙ੍ਗੇ ਭੋਕ੍ਤੁੰ ਪਾਤੁਞ੍ਚ ਪ੍ਰਵਰ੍ੱਤਤੇ,

and shall begin to beat his fellow-servants, and shall eat and drink with the drunken;

50 ਸ ਦਾਸੋ ਯਦਾ ਨਾਪੇਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਤੇ, ਯਞ੍ਚ ਦਣ੍ਡੰ ਨ ਜਾਨਾਤਿ, ਤਤ੍ਕਾਲਏਵ ਤਤ੍ਪ੍ਰਭੁਰੁਪਸ੍ਥਾਸ੍ਯਤਿ|

the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he expecteth not, and in an hour when he knoweth not,

51 ਤਦਾ ਤੰ ਦਣ੍ਡਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਯਤ੍ਰ ਸ੍ਥਾਨੇ ਰੋਦਨੰ ਦਨ੍ਤਘਰ੍ਸ਼਼ਣਞ੍ਚਾਸਾਤੇ, ਤਤ੍ਰ ਕਪਟਿਭਿਃ ਸਾਕੰ ਤੱਦਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਿਰੂਪਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|

and shall cut him asunder, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be the weeping and gnashing of teeth.
