ਮਾਰ੍ਕਃ 1
1 ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਪੁਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਯ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦਾਰਮ੍ਭਃ|
The beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
2 ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਦਿਨਾਂ ਗ੍ਰਨ੍ਥੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਲਿਪਿਰਿੱਥਮਾਸ੍ਤੇ, ਪਸ਼੍ਯ ਸ੍ਵਕੀਯਦੂਤਨ੍ਤੁ ਤਵਾਗ੍ਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਯਾਮ੍ਯਹਮ੍| ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਤ੍ਵਦੀਯਪਨ੍ਥਾਨੰ ਸ ਹਿ ਪਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਕਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|
As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my agent before thy face, who will prepare thy way before thee.
3 "ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਯ ਪਨ੍ਥਾਨੰ ਪਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਕੁਰੁਤ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਤਃ| ਤਸ੍ਯ ਰਾਜਪਥਞ੍ਚੈਵ ਸਮਾਨੰ ਕੁਰੁਤਾਧੁਨਾ| " ਇਤ੍ਯੇਤਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ੍ਤਰੇ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਵਦਤਃ ਕਸ੍ਯਚਿਦ੍ਰਵਃ||
The voice of a man crying out in the wilderness: Prepare ye the way of the Lord. Make his paths straight.
4 ਸਏਵ ਯੋਹਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ੍ਤਰੇ ਮੱਜਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਥਾ ਪਾਪਮਾਰ੍ਜਨਨਿਮਿੱਤੰ ਮਨੋਵ੍ਯਾਵਰ੍ੱਤਕਮੱਜਨਸ੍ਯ ਕਥਾਞ੍ਚ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
It came to pass, that John was immersing in the wilderness and preaching an immersion of repentance for remission of sins.
5 ਤਤੋ ਯਿਹੂਦਾਦੇਸ਼ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮ੍ਨਗਰਨਿਵਾਸਿਨਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਲੋਕਾ ਬਹਿ ਰ੍ਭੂਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਮੀਪਮਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਸ੍ਵਾਨਿ ਸ੍ਵਾਨਿ ਪਾਪਾਨ੍ਯਙ੍ਗੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਯਰ੍ੱਦਨਨਦ੍ਯਾਂ ਤੇਨ ਮੱਜਿਤਾ ਬਭੂਵੁਃ|
And all the land of Judea and the Jerusalemites went out to him, and they were all immersed by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
6 ਅਸ੍ਯ ਯੋਹਨਃ ਪਰਿਧੇਯਾਨਿ ਕ੍ਰਮੇਲਕਲੋਮਜਾਨਿ, ਤਸ੍ਯ ਕਟਿਬਨ੍ਧਨੰ ਚਰ੍ੰਮਜਾਤਮ੍, ਤਸ੍ਯ ਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਣਿ ਚ ਸ਼ੂਕਕੀਟਾ ਵਨ੍ਯਮਧੂਨਿ ਚਾਸਨ੍|
And John was clothed with camel's hair and a leather belt around his waist, and eating locusts and wild honey.
7 ਸ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਯਨ੍ ਕਥਯਾਞ੍ਚਕ੍ਰੇ, ਅਹੰ ਨਮ੍ਰੀਭੂਯ ਯਸ੍ਯ ਪਾਦੁਕਾਬਨ੍ਧਨੰ ਮੋਚਯਿਤੁਮਪਿ ਨ ਯੋਗ੍ਯੋਸ੍ਮਿ, ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੋ ਮੱਤੋ ਗੁਰੁਤਰ ਏਕਃ ਪੁਰੁਸ਼਼ੋ ਮਤ੍ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਦਾਗੱਛਤਿ|
And he preached, saying, A man mightier than I comes after me of whom I am not worthy, having stooped down, to loosen the strap of his shoes.
8 ਅਹੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਜਲੇ ਮੱਜਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਆਤ੍ਮਾਨਿ ਸੰਮੱਜਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|
I indeed immersed you in water, but he will immerse you in the Holy Spirit.
9 ਅਪਰਞ੍ਚ ਤਸ੍ਮਿੰਨੇਵ ਕਾਲੇ ਗਾਲੀਲ੍ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਯ ਨਾਸਰਦ੍ਗ੍ਰਾਮਾਦ੍ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਰਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਯੋਹਨਾ ਯਰ੍ੱਦਨਨਦ੍ਯਾਂ ਮੱਜਿਤੋ(ਅ)ਭੂਤ੍|
And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was immersed by John in the Jordan.
10 ਸ ਜਲਾਦੁੱਥਿਤਮਾਤ੍ਰੋ ਮੇਘਦ੍ਵਾਰੰ ਮੁਕ੍ਤੰ ਕਪੋਤਵਤ੍ ਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਯੋਪਰਿ ਅਵਰੋਹਨ੍ਤਮਾਤ੍ਮਾਨਞ੍ਚ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਵਾਨ੍|
And straightaway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens divided, and the Spirit descending upon him as a dove.
11 ਤ੍ਵੰ ਮਮ ਪ੍ਰਿਯਃ ਪੁਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਤ੍ਵੱਯੇਵ ਮਮਮਹਾਸਨ੍ਤੋਸ਼਼ ਇਯਮਾਕਾਸ਼ੀਯਾ ਵਾਣੀ ਬਭੂਵ|
And a voice occurred out of the heavens, Thou are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
12 ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਕਾਲੇ ਆਤ੍ਮਾ ਤੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ੍ਤਰਮਧ੍ਯੰ ਨਿਨਾਯ|
And straightaway the Spirit drives him forth into the wilderness.
13 ਅਥ ਸ ਚਤ੍ਵਾਰਿੰਸ਼ੱਦਿਨਾਨਿ ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਸ੍ਥਾਨੇ ਵਨ੍ਯਪਸ਼ੁਭਿਃ ਸਹ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਨ੍ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨਾ ਪਰੀਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਤਃ; ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਸ੍ਵਰ੍ਗੀਯਦੂਤਾਸ੍ਤੰ ਸਿਸ਼਼ੇਵਿਰੇ|
And he was there in the wilderness forty days tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild beasts. And the agents served him.
14 ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਯੋਹਨਿ ਬਨ੍ਧਨਾਲਯੇ ਬੱਧੇ ਸਤਿ ਯੀਸ਼ੁ ਰ੍ਗਾਲੀਲ੍ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ਮਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਰਾਜ੍ਯਸ੍ਯ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਯਨ੍ ਕਥਯਾਮਾਸ,
Now after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee proclaiming the good news of God,
15 ਕਾਲਃ ਸਮ੍ਪੂਰ੍ਣ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਰਾਜ੍ਯਞ੍ਚ ਸਮੀਪਮਾਗਤੰ; ਅਤੋਹੇਤੋ ਰ੍ਯੂਯੰ ਮਨਾਂਸਿ ਵ੍ਯਾਵਰ੍ੱਤਯਧ੍ਵੰ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦੇ ਚ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਿਤ|
and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near. Repent ye, and believe in the good news.
16 ਤਦਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਸ ਗਾਲੀਲੀਯਸਮੁਦ੍ਰਸ੍ਯ ਤੀਰੇ ਗੱਛਨ੍ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਾ ਅਨ੍ਦ੍ਰਿਯਨਾਮਾ ਚ ਇਮੌ ਦ੍ਵੌ ਜਨੌ ਮਤ੍ਸ੍ਯਧਾਰਿਣੌ ਸਾਗਰਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਜਾਲੰ ਪ੍ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਪਨ੍ਤੌ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਵਾ ਤਾਵਵਦਤ੍,
And walking beside the sea of Galilee he saw Simon and Andrew his brother, the son of Simon, casting a net in the sea, for they were fishermen.
17 ਯੁਵਾਂ ਮਮ ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਦਾਗੱਛਤੰ, ਯੁਵਾਮਹੰ ਮਨੁਸ਼਼੍ਯਧਾਰਿਣੌ ਕਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮਿ|
And Jesus said to them, Come ye behind me, and I will make you to become fishermen of men.
18 ਤਤਸ੍ਤੌ ਤਤ੍ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਣਮੇਵ ਜਾਲਾਨਿ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਯਜ੍ਯ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਜਗ੍ਮਤੁਃ|
And straightaway they left the nets, and followed him.
19 ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਤਤ੍ਸ੍ਥਾਨਾਤ੍ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਦੂਰੰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਸ ਸਿਵਦੀਪੁਤ੍ਰਯਾਕੂਬ੍ ਤਦ੍ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਯੋਹਨ੍ ਚ ਇਮੌ ਨੌਕਾਯਾਂ ਜਾਲਾਨਾਂ ਜੀਰ੍ਣਮੁੱਧਾਰਯਨ੍ਤੌ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਵਾ ਤਾਵਾਹੂਯਤ੍|
And having advanced a little from there he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who were also in the boat mending the nets.
20 ਤਤਸ੍ਤੌ ਨੌਕਾਯਾਂ ਵੇਤਨਭੁਗ੍ਭਿਃ ਸਹਿਤੰ ਸ੍ਵਪਿਤਰੰ ਵਿਹਾਯ ਤਤ੍ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਦੀਯਤੁਃ|
And straightaway he called them. And having left their father Zebedee in the boat with the workmen, they went behind him.
21 ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਕਫਰ੍ਨਾਹੂਮ੍ਨਾਮਕੰ ਨਗਰਮੁਪਸ੍ਥਾਯ ਸ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਰਾਮਦਿਵਸੇ ਭਜਨਗ੍ਰਹੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਸਮੁਪਦਿਦੇਸ਼|
And they entered into Capernaum, and straightaway on the sabbath day, having entered into the synagogue, he taught.
22 ਤਸ੍ਯੋਪਦੇਸ਼ਾੱਲੋਕਾ ਆਸ਼੍ਚਰ੍ੱਯੰ ਮੇਨਿਰੇ ਯਤਃ ਸੋਧ੍ਯਾਪਕਾਇਵ ਨੋਪਦਿਸ਼ਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਵਾਨਿਵ ਪ੍ਰੋਪਦਿਦੇਸ਼|
And they were astonished at his teaching, for he was teaching them as having authority, and not as the scholars.
23 ਅਪਰਞ੍ਚ ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਭਜਨਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੇ ਅਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਭੂਤੇਨ ਗ੍ਰਸ੍ਤ ਏਕੋ ਮਾਨੁਸ਼਼ ਆਸੀਤ੍| ਸ ਚੀਤ੍ਸ਼ਬ੍ਦੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਕਥਯਾਞ੍ਚਕੇ
And a man was in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out,
24 ਭੋ ਨਾਸਰਤੀਯ ਯੀਸ਼ੋ ਤ੍ਵਮਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਤ੍ਯਜ, ਤ੍ਵਯਾ ਸਹਾਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਕਃ ਸਮ੍ਬਨ੍ਧਃ? ਤ੍ਵੰ ਕਿਮਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਨਾਸ਼ਯਿਤੁੰ ਸਮਾਗਤਃ? ਤ੍ਵਮੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਲੋਕ ਇਤ੍ਯਹੰ ਜਾਨਾਮਿ|
saying, Oh no! What is with us and with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Did thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou are, the Holy man of God.
25 ਤਦਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਸ੍ਤੰ ਤਰ੍ਜਯਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਜਗਾਦ ਤੂਸ਼਼੍ਣੀਂ ਭਵ ਇਤੋ ਬਹਿਰ੍ਭਵ ਚ|
And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be thou muzzled, and come out of him.
26 ਤਤਃ ਸੋ(ਅ)ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਭੂਤਸ੍ਤੰ ਸਮ੍ਪੀਡ੍ਯ ਅਤ੍ਯੁਚੈਸ਼੍ਚੀਤ੍ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਨਿਰ੍ਜਗਾਮ|
And the unclean spirit, having convulsed him and having cried in a great voice, came out of him.
27 ਤੇਨੈਵ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਚਮਤ੍ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਪਰਸ੍ਪਰੰ ਕਥਯਾਞ੍ਚਕ੍ਰਿਰੇ, ਅਹੋ ਕਿਮਿਦੰ? ਕੀਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੋ(ਅ)ਯੰ ਨਵ੍ਯ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਃ? ਅਨੇਨ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵੇਨਾਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਭੂਤੇਸ਼਼੍ਵਾਜ੍ਞਾਪਿਤੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਤੇ ਤਦਾਜ੍ਞਾਨੁਵਰ੍ੱਤਿਨੋ ਭਵਨ੍ਤਿ|
And they were all amazed, so as to question among themselves, saying, What is this? What is this new doctrine, that he commands with authority, and the unclean spirits also obey him?
28 ਤਦਾ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਯਸ਼ੋ ਗਾਲੀਲਸ਼੍ਚਤੁਰ੍ਦਿਕ੍ਸ੍ਥਸਰ੍ੱਵਦੇਸ਼ਾਨ੍ ਵ੍ਯਾਪ੍ਨੋਤ੍|
And his fame went forth straightaway into the entire region around Galilee.
29 ਅਪਰਞ੍ਚ ਤੇ ਭਜਨਗ੍ਰੁʼਹਾਦ੍ ਬਹਿ ਰ੍ਭੂਤ੍ਵਾ ਯਾਕੂਬ੍ਯੋਹਨ੍ਭ੍ਯਾਂ ਸਹ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨ ਆਨ੍ਦ੍ਰਿਯਸ੍ਯ ਚ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ਨੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਿਵਿਸ਼ੁਃ|
And straightaway, when they came forth out of the synagogue they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
30 ਤਦਾ ਪਿਤਰਸ੍ਯ ਸ਼੍ਵਸ਼੍ਰੂਰ੍ਜ੍ਵਰਪੀਡਿਤਾ ਸ਼ੱਯਾਯਾਮਾਸ੍ਤ ਇਤਿ ਤੇ ਤੰ ਝਟਿਤਿ ਵਿਜ੍ਞਾਪਯਾਞ੍ਚਕ੍ਰੁਃ|
But Simon's mother-in-law lay feverish, and straightaway they tell him about her.
31 ਤਤਃ ਸ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਤਸ੍ਯਾ ਹਸ੍ਤੰ ਧ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਾਮੁਦਸ੍ਥਾਪਯਤ੍; ਤਦੈਵ ਤਾਂ ਜ੍ਵਰੋ(ਅ)ਤ੍ਯਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੀਤ੍ ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਸਾ ਤਾਨ੍ ਸਿਸ਼਼ੇਵੇ|
And upon coming, having taken hold of her hand, he raised her up and the fever left her. And straightaway she served them.
32 ਅਥਾਸ੍ਤੰ ਗਤੇ ਰਵੌ ਸਨ੍ਧ੍ਯਾਕਾਲੇ ਸਤਿ ਲੋਕਾਸ੍ਤਤ੍ਸਮੀਪੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਨ੍ ਰੋਗਿਣੋ ਭੂਤਧ੍ਰੁʼਤਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ ਸਮਾਨਿਨ੍ਯੁਃ|
And having become evening when the sun set they brought to him all who were faring badly, and those who were demon-possessed.
33 ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾ ਲੋਕਾ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਿ ਸੰਮਿਲਿਤਾਸ਼੍ਚ|
And the whole city was gathered together near the door.
34 ਤਤਃ ਸ ਨਾਨਾਵਿਧਰੋਗਿਣੋ ਬਹੂਨ੍ ਮਨੁਜਾਨਰੋਗਿਣਸ਼੍ਚਕਾਰ ਤਥਾ ਬਹੂਨ੍ ਭੂਤਾਨ੍ ਤ੍ਯਾਜਯਾਞ੍ਚਕਾਰ ਤਾਨ੍ ਭੂਤਾਨ੍ ਕਿਮਪਿ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਵਕ੍ਤੁੰ ਨਿਸ਼਼ਿਸ਼਼ੇਧ ਚ ਯਤੋਹੇਤੋਸ੍ਤੇ ਤਮਜਾਨਨ੍|
And he healed many who were faring badly with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And he did not allow the demons to speak, because they had recognized him.
35 ਅਪਰਞ੍ਚ ਸੋ(ਅ)ਤਿਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯੂਸ਼਼ੇ ਵਸ੍ਤੁਤਸ੍ਤੁ ਰਾਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼਼ੇ ਸਮੁੱਥਾਯ ਬਹਿਰ੍ਭੂਯ ਨਿਰ੍ਜਨੰ ਸ੍ਥਾਨੰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯਾਞ੍ਚਕ੍ਰੇ|
And having risen early, very much in the night, he came out and departed into a desolate place, and prayed there.
36 ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨ੍ ਤਤ੍ਸਙ੍ਗਿਨਸ਼੍ਚ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਦ੍ ਗਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
And Simon and those with him searched for him.
37 ਤਦੁੱਦੇਸ਼ੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਯ ਤਮਵਦਨ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਲੋਕਾਸ੍ਤ੍ਵਾਂ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਗਯਨ੍ਤੇ|
And having found him, they say to him, All are seeking thee.
38 ਤਦਾ ਸੋ(ਅ)ਕਥਯਤ੍ ਆਗੱਛਤ ਵਯੰ ਸਮੀਪਸ੍ਥਾਨਿ ਨਗਰਾਣਿ ਯਾਮਃ, ਯਤੋ(ਅ)ਹੰ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਕਥਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਯਿਤੁੰ ਬਹਿਰਾਗਮਮ੍|
And he says to them, Let us go into the nearby towns, so that I may preach there also. For I came forth for this.
39 ਅਥ ਸ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਗਾਲੀਲ੍ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਯ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਭਜਨਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਕਥਾਃ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਯਾਞ੍ਚਕ੍ਰੇ ਭੂਤਾਨਤ੍ਯਾਜਯਞ੍ਚ|
And he was preaching in their synagogues in all Galilee, and casting out the demons.
40 ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰਮੇਕਃ ਕੁਸ਼਼੍ਠੀ ਸਮਾਗਤ੍ਯ ਤਤ੍ਸੰਮੁਖੇ ਜਾਨੁਪਾਤੰ ਵਿਨਯਞ੍ਚ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਕਥਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਯਦਿ ਭਵਾਨ੍ ਇੱਛਤਿ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਮਾਂ ਪਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੋਤਿ|
And a leper comes to him beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying to him, If thou will thou can make me clean.
41 ਤਤਃ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਪਾਲੁ ਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੁਃ ਕਰੌ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰ੍ੱਯ ਤੰ ਸ੍ਪਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਵਾ ਕਥਯਾਮਾਸ
And Jesus, having felt compassion, having reached out his hand, he touched him, and says to him, I will, be thou clean.
42 ਮਮੇੱਛਾ ਵਿਦ੍ਯਤੇ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਪਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੋ ਭਵ| ਏਤਤ੍ਕਥਾਯਾਃ ਕਥਨਮਾਤ੍ਰਾਤ੍ ਸ ਕੁਸ਼਼੍ਠੀ ਰੋਗਾਨ੍ਮੁਕ੍ਤਃ ਪਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੋ(ਅ)ਭਵਤ੍|
And after he spoke, straightaway the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
43 ਤਦਾ ਸ ਤੰ ਵਿਸ੍ਰੁʼਜਨ੍ ਗਾਢਮਾਦਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਜਗਾਦ
And having strictly warned him, straightaway he sent him out.
44 ਸਾਵਧਾਨੋ ਭਵ ਕਥਾਮਿਮਾਂ ਕਮਪਿ ਮਾ ਵਦ; ਸ੍ਵਾਤ੍ਮਾਨੰ ਯਾਜਕੰ ਦਰ੍ਸ਼ਯ, ਲੋਕੇਭ੍ਯਃ ਸ੍ਵਪਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੇਃ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣਦਾਨਾਯ ਮੂਸਾਨਿਰ੍ਣੀਤੰ ਯੱਦਾਨੰ ਤਦੁਤ੍ਸ੍ਰੁʼਜਸ੍ਵ ਚ|
And he says to him, See thou say nothing to any man, but go, show thyself to the priest, and bring for thy cleansing the things that Moses commanded for a testimony to them.
45 ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਤ੍ ਕਰ੍ੰਮ ਇੱਥੰ ਵਿਸ੍ਤਾਰ੍ੱਯ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਯਿਤੁੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰੇਭੇ ਤੇਨੈਵ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਃ ਪੁਨਃ ਸਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ੰ ਨਗਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼਼੍ਟੁੰ ਨਾਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੋਤ੍ ਤਤੋਹੇਤੋਰ੍ਬਹਿਃ ਕਾਨਨਸ੍ਥਾਨੇ ਤਸ੍ਯੌ; ਤਥਾਪਿ ਚਤੁਰ੍ੱਦਿਗ੍ਭ੍ਯੋ ਲੋਕਾਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਮੀਪਮਾਯਯੁਃ|
But having gone out, he began to proclaim it much, and to spread abroad the matter, so as for him to no longer be able to enter openly into a city, but was outside in desolate places. And they came to him from all directions.
