ଲୂକଃ 12
1 ତଦାନୀଂ ଲୋକାଃ ସହସ୍ରଂ ସହସ୍ରମ୍ ଆଗତ୍ୟ ସମୁପସ୍ଥିତାସ୍ତତ ଏକୈକୋ ଽନ୍ୟେଷାମୁପରି ପତିତୁମ୍ ଉପଚକ୍ରମେ; ତଦା ଯୀଶୁଃ ଶିଷ୍ୟାନ୍ ବଭାଷେ, ଯୂଯଂ ଫିରୂଶିନାଂ କିଣ୍ୱରୂପକାପଟ୍ୟେ ୱିଶେଷେଣ ସାୱଧାନାସ୍ତିଷ୍ଠତ|
Meanwhile, when the crowd had gathered together by the thousands, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples: “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
2 ଯତୋ ଯନ୍ନ ପ୍ରକାଶଯିଷ୍ୟତେ ତଦାଚ୍ଛନ୍ନଂ ୱସ୍ତୁ କିମପି ନାସ୍ତି; ତଥା ଯନ୍ନ ଜ୍ଞାସ୍ୟତେ ତଦ୍ ଗୁପ୍ତଂ ୱସ୍ତୁ କିମପି ନାସ୍ତି|
There is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known.
3 ଅନ୍ଧକାରେ ତିଷ୍ଠନତୋ ଯାଃ କଥା ଅକଥଯତ ତାଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାଃ କଥା ଦୀପ୍ତୌ ଶ୍ରୋଷ୍ୟନ୍ତେ ନିର୍ଜନେ କର୍ଣେ ଚ ଯଦକଥଯତ ଗୃହପୃଷ୍ଠାତ୍ ତତ୍ ପ୍ରଚାରଯିଷ୍ୟତେ|
Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in anyone's ear in private rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
4 ହେ ବନ୍ଧୱୋ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନହଂ ୱଦାମି, ଯେ ଶରୀରସ୍ୟ ନାଶଂ ୱିନା କିମପ୍ୟପରଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ନ ଶକ୍ରୁୱନ୍ତି ତେଭ୍ୟୋ ମା ଭୈଷ୍ଟ|
“I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more they can do.
5 ତର୍ହି କସ୍ମାଦ୍ ଭେତୱ୍ୟମ୍ ଇତ୍ୟହଂ ୱଦାମି, ଯଃ ଶରୀରଂ ନାଶଯିତ୍ୱା ନରକଂ ନିକ୍ଷେପ୍ତୁଂ ଶକ୍ନୋତି ତସ୍ମାଦେୱ ଭଯଂ କୁରୁତ, ପୁନରପି ୱଦାମି ତସ୍ମାଦେୱ ଭଯଂ କୁରୁତ| (Geenna g1067)
But I will tell you whom you should fear: Fear him who has authority to throw you into hell after your body has been killed. Yes, I tell you, fear him! (Geenna g1067)
6 ପଞ୍ଚ ଚଟକପକ୍ଷିଣଃ କିଂ ଦ୍ୱାଭ୍ୟାଂ ତାମ୍ରଖଣ୍ଡାଭ୍ୟାଂ ନ ୱିକ୍ରୀଯନ୍ତେ? ତଥାପୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ତେଷାମ୍ ଏକମପି ନ ୱିସ୍ମରତି|
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in the sight of God.
7 ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ଶିରଃକେଶା ଅପି ଗଣିତାଃ ସନ୍ତି ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ମା ୱିଭୀତ ବହୁଚଟକପକ୍ଷିଭ୍ୟୋପି ଯୂଯଂ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ୟାଃ|
Indeed, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.
8 ଅପରଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମଭ୍ୟଂ କଥଯାମି ଯଃ କଶ୍ଚିନ୍ ମାନୁଷାଣାଂ ସାକ୍ଷାନ୍ ମାଂ ସ୍ୱୀକରୋତି ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ଈଶ୍ୱରଦୂତାନାଂ ସାକ୍ଷାତ୍ ତଂ ସ୍ୱୀକରିଷ୍ୟତି|
“I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God,
9 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଃ କଶ୍ଚିନ୍ମାନୁଷାଣାଂ ସାକ୍ଷାନ୍ମାମ୍ ଅସ୍ୱୀକରୋତି ତମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ଦୂତାନାଂ ସାକ୍ଷାଦ୍ ଅହମ୍ ଅସ୍ୱୀକରିଷ୍ୟାମି|
but whoever denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God.
10 ଅନ୍ୟଚ୍ଚ ଯଃ କଶ୍ଚିନ୍ ମନୁଜସୁତସ୍ୟ ନିନ୍ଦାଭାୱେନ କାଞ୍ଚିତ୍ କଥାଂ କଥଯତି ତସ୍ୟ ତତ୍ପାପସ୍ୟ ମୋଚନଂ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି କଶ୍ଚିତ୍ ପୱିତ୍ରମ୍ ଆତ୍ମାନଂ ନିନ୍ଦତି ତର୍ହି ତସ୍ୟ ତତ୍ପାପସ୍ୟ ମୋଚନଂ ନ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି|
And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
11 ଯଦା ଲୋକା ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ଭଜନଗେହଂ ୱିଚାରକର୍ତୃରାଜ୍ୟକର୍ତୃଣାଂ ସମ୍ମୁଖଞ୍ଚ ନେଷ୍ୟନ୍ତି ତଦା କେନ ପ୍ରକାରେଣ କିମୁତ୍ତରଂ ୱଦିଷ୍ୟଥ କିଂ କଥଯିଷ୍ୟଥ ଚେତ୍ୟତ୍ର ମା ଚିନ୍ତଯତ;
When you are brought before synagogues, rulers, and authorities, do not be anxious about how or what you should speak in your own defense, or what you should say,
12 ଯତୋ ଯୁଷ୍ମାଭିର୍ୟଦ୍ ଯଦ୍ ୱକ୍ତୱ୍ୟଂ ତତ୍ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ସମଯଏୱ ପୱିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ଶିକ୍ଷଯିଷ୍ୟତି|
for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you should say.”
13 ତତଃ ପରଂ ଜନତାମଧ୍ୟସ୍ଥଃ କଶ୍ଚିଜ୍ଜନସ୍ତଂ ଜଗାଦ ହେ ଗୁରୋ ମଯା ସହ ପୈତୃକଂ ଧନଂ ୱିଭକ୍ତୁଂ ମମ ଭ୍ରାତରମାଜ୍ଞାପଯତୁ ଭୱାନ୍|
Then someone from among the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the family inheritance with me.”
14 କିନ୍ତୁ ସ ତମୱଦତ୍ ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଯୁୱଯୋ ର୍ୱିଚାରଂ ୱିଭାଗଞ୍ଚ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ମାଂ କୋ ନିଯୁକ୍ତୱାନ୍?
But Jesus said to him, “Man, who appointed me as a judge or arbitrator over you?”
15 ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ସ ଲୋକାନୱଦତ୍ ଲୋଭେ ସାୱଧାନାଃ ସତର୍କାଶ୍ଚ ତିଷ୍ଠତ, ଯତୋ ବହୁସମ୍ପତ୍ତିପ୍ରାପ୍ତ୍ୟା ମନୁଷ୍ୟସ୍ୟାଯୁ ର୍ନ ଭୱତି|
Then he said to them, “Watch out and be on your guard against covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
16 ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତକଥାମୁତ୍ଥାପ୍ୟ କଥଯାମାସ, ଏକସ୍ୟ ଧନିନୋ ଭୂମୌ ବହୂନି ଶସ୍ୟାନି ଜାତାନି|
And he told them a parable: “The land of a certain rich man produced abundantly.
17 ତତଃ ସ ମନସା ଚିନ୍ତଯିତ୍ୱା କଥଯାମ୍ବଭୂୱ ମମୈତାନି ସମୁତ୍ପନ୍ନାନି ଦ୍ରୱ୍ୟାଣି ସ୍ଥାପଯିତୁଂ ସ୍ଥାନଂ ନାସ୍ତି କିଂ କରିଷ୍ୟାମି?
So he thought to himself, ‘What should I do, for I do not have anywhere to store my crops?’
18 ତତୋୱଦଦ୍ ଇତ୍ଥଂ କରିଷ୍ୟାମି, ମମ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଭାଣ୍ଡାଗାରାଣି ଭଙ୍କ୍ତ୍ୱା ବୃହଦ୍ଭାଣ୍ଡାଗାରାଣି ନିର୍ମ୍ମାଯ ତନ୍ମଧ୍ୟେ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଫଲାନି ଦ୍ରୱ୍ୟାଣି ଚ ସ୍ଥାପଯିଷ୍ୟାମି|
Then he said, ‘This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my produce and my goods.
19 ଅପରଂ ନିଜମନୋ ୱଦିଷ୍ୟାମି, ହେ ମନୋ ବହୁୱତ୍ସରାର୍ଥଂ ନାନାଦ୍ରୱ୍ୟାଣି ସଞ୍ଚିତାନି ସନ୍ତି ୱିଶ୍ରାମଂ କୁରୁ ଭୁକ୍ତ୍ୱା ପୀତ୍ୱା କୌତୁକଞ୍ଚ କୁରୁ| କିନ୍ତ୍ୱୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ତମ୍ ଅୱଦତ୍,
And I will say to my soul, “Soul, yoʋ have many goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, and be merry.”’
20 ରେ ନିର୍ବୋଧ ଅଦ୍ୟ ରାତ୍ରୌ ତୱ ପ୍ରାଣାସ୍ତ୍ୱତ୍ତୋ ନେଷ୍ୟନ୍ତେ ତତ ଏତାନି ଯାନି ଦ୍ରୱ୍ୟାଣି ତ୍ୱଯାସାଦିତାନି ତାନି କସ୍ୟ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟନ୍ତି?
But God said to him, ‘Yoʋ fool! This very night yoʋr life will be demanded back from yoʋ, and the things yoʋ have prepared, whose will they be?’
21 ଅତଏୱ ଯଃ କଶ୍ଚିଦ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ସମୀପେ ଧନସଞ୍ଚଯମକୃତ୍ୱା କେୱଲଂ ସ୍ୱନିକଟେ ସଞ୍ଚଯଂ କରୋତି ସୋପି ତାଦୃଶଃ|
This is how it will be with anyone who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.”
22 ଅଥ ସ ଶିଷ୍ୟେଭ୍ୟଃ କଥଯାମାସ, ଯୁଷ୍ମାନହଂ ୱଦାମି, କିଂ ଖାଦିଷ୍ୟାମଃ? କିଂ ପରିଧାସ୍ୟାମଃ? ଇତ୍ୟୁକ୍ତ୍ୱା ଜୀୱନସ୍ୟ ଶରୀରସ୍ୟ ଚାର୍ଥଂ ଚିନ୍ତାଂ ମା କାର୍ଷ୍ଟ|
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear.
23 ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟାଜ୍ଜୀୱନଂ ଭୂଷଣାଚ୍ଛରୀରଞ୍ଚ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠଂ ଭୱତି|
Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
24 କାକପକ୍ଷିଣାଂ କାର୍ୟ୍ୟଂ ୱିଚାରଯତ, ତେ ନ ୱପନ୍ତି ଶସ୍ୟାନି ଚ ନ ଛିନ୍ଦନ୍ତି, ତେଷାଂ ଭାଣ୍ଡାଗାରାଣି ନ ସନ୍ତି କୋଷାଶ୍ଚ ନ ସନ୍ତି, ତଥାପୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ତେଭ୍ୟୋ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟାଣି ଦଦାତି, ଯୂଯଂ ପକ୍ଷିଭ୍ୟଃ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠତରା ନ କିଂ?
Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap; they have no storehouse or barn, yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than birds?
25 ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ଭାୱଯିତ୍ୱା ନିଜାଯୁଷଃ କ୍ଷଣମାତ୍ରଂ ୱର୍ଦ୍ଧଯିତୁଂ ଶକ୍ନୋତି, ଏତାଦୃଶୋ ଲାକୋ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ କୋସ୍ତି?
Which of you by being anxious can add a single moment to yoʋr span of life?
26 ଅତଏୱ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ରଂ କାର୍ୟ୍ୟଂ ସାଧଯିତୁମ୍ ଅସମର୍ଥା ଯୂଯମ୍ ଅନ୍ୟସ୍ମିନ୍ କାର୍ୟ୍ୟେ କୁତୋ ଭାୱଯଥ?
If then you cannot even do a very little thing like that, why are you anxious about the rest?
27 ଅନ୍ୟଚ୍ଚ କାମ୍ପିଲପୁଷ୍ପଂ କଥଂ ୱର୍ଦ୍ଧତେ ତଦାପି ୱିଚାରଯତ, ତତ୍ କଞ୍ଚନ ଶ୍ରମଂ ନ କରୋତି ତନ୍ତୂଂଶ୍ଚ ନ ଜନଯତି କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୁଷ୍ମଭ୍ୟଂ ଯଥାର୍ଥଂ କଥଯାମି ସୁଲେମାନ୍ ବହ୍ୱୈଶ୍ୱର୍ୟ୍ୟାନ୍ୱିତୋପି ପୁଷ୍ପସ୍ୟାସ୍ୟ ସଦୃଶୋ ୱିଭୂଷିତୋ ନାସୀତ୍|
Consider the lilies, how they grow: They do not toil or spin, yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these.
28 ଅଦ୍ୟ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରେ ୱର୍ତ୍ତମାନଂ ଶ୍ୱଶ୍ଚୂଲ୍ଲ୍ୟାଂ କ୍ଷେପ୍ସ୍ୟମାନଂ ଯତ୍ ତୃଣଂ, ତସ୍ମୈ ଯଦୀଶ୍ୱର ଇତ୍ଥଂ ଭୂଷଯତି ତର୍ହି ହେ ଅଲ୍ପପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯିନୋ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ କିଂ ନ ପରିଧାପଯିଷ୍ୟତି?
Now if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith?
29 ଅତଏୱ କିଂ ଖାଦିଷ୍ୟାମଃ? କିଂ ପରିଧାସ୍ୟାମଃ? ଏତଦର୍ଥଂ ମା ଚେଷ୍ଟଧ୍ୱଂ ମା ସଂଦିଗ୍ଧ୍ୱଞ୍ଚ|
And do not be concerned about what you will eat or what you will drink; do not be anxious about such things.
30 ଜଗତୋ ଦେୱାର୍ଚ୍ଚକା ଏତାନି ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାଣି ଚେଷ୍ଟନତେ; ଏଷୁ ୱସ୍ତୁଷୁ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ପ୍ରଯୋଜନମାସ୍ତେ ଇତି ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ପିତା ଜାନାତି|
For the nations of the world seek after all these things, and your Father knows that you need them.
31 ଅତଏୱେଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ରାଜ୍ୟାର୍ଥଂ ସଚେଷ୍ଟା ଭୱତ ତଥା କୃତେ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାଣ୍ୟେତାନି ଦ୍ରୱ୍ୟାଣି ଯୁଷ୍ମଭ୍ୟଂ ପ୍ରଦାଯିଷ୍ୟନ୍ତେ|
Rather, seek the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you.
32 ହେ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ରମେଷୱ୍ରଜ ଯୂଯଂ ମା ଭୈଷ୍ଟ ଯୁଷ୍ମଭ୍ୟଂ ରାଜ୍ୟଂ ଦାତୁଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ପିତୁଃ ସମ୍ମତିରସ୍ତି|
Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.
33 ଅତଏୱ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ଯା ଯା ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିରସ୍ତି ତାଂ ତାଂ ୱିକ୍ରୀଯ ୱିତରତ, ଯତ୍ ସ୍ଥାନଂ ଚୌରା ନାଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ତି, କୀଟାଶ୍ଚ ନ କ୍ଷାଯଯନ୍ତି ତାଦୃଶେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗେ ନିଜାର୍ଥମ୍ ଅଜରେ ସମ୍ପୁଟକେ ଽକ୍ଷଯଂ ଧନଂ ସଞ୍ଚିନୁତ ଚ;
Sell your possessions and give to the needy. Make yourselves moneybags that do not wear out, an inexhaustible treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.
34 ଯତୋ ଯତ୍ର ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ଧନଂ ୱର୍ତ୍ତତେ ତତ୍ରେୱ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ମନଃ|
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
35 ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ଯୂଯଂ ପ୍ରଦୀପଂ ଜ୍ୱାଲଯିତ୍ୱା ବଦ୍ଧକଟଯସ୍ତିଷ୍ଠତ;
“Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning,
36 ପ୍ରଭୁ ର୍ୱିୱାହାଦାଗତ୍ୟ ଯଦୈୱ ଦ୍ୱାରମାହନ୍ତି ତଦୈୱ ଦ୍ୱାରଂ ମୋଚଯିତୁଂ ଯଥା ଭୃତ୍ୟା ଅପେକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ତିଷ୍ଠନ୍ତି ତଥା ଯୂଯମପି ତିଷ୍ଠତ|
like men who are waiting for their master to return from a wedding feast, so that they can immediately open the door for him when he comes and knocks.
37 ଯତଃ ପ୍ରଭୁରାଗତ୍ୟ ଯାନ୍ ଦାସାନ୍ ସଚେତନାନ୍ ତିଷ୍ଠତୋ ଦ୍ରକ୍ଷ୍ୟତି ତଏୱ ଧନ୍ୟାଃ; ଅହଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ଯଥାର୍ଥଂ ୱଦାମି ପ୍ରଭୁସ୍ତାନ୍ ଭୋଜନାର୍ଥମ୍ ଉପୱେଶ୍ୟ ସ୍ୱଯଂ ବଦ୍ଧକଟିଃ ସମୀପମେତ୍ୟ ପରିୱେଷଯିଷ୍ୟତି|
Blessed are those servants whom their master finds keeping watch when he comes. Truly I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at the table, and he will come and serve them.
38 ଯଦି ଦ୍ୱିତୀଯେ ତୃତୀଯେ ୱା ପ୍ରହରେ ସମାଗତ୍ୟ ତଥୈୱ ପଶ୍ୟତି, ତର୍ହି ତଏୱ ଦାସା ଧନ୍ୟାଃ|
If he comes in the second watch or the third watch and finds them doing so, blessed are those servants.
39 ଅପରଞ୍ଚ କସ୍ମିନ୍ କ୍ଷଣେ ଚୌରା ଆଗମିଷ୍ୟନ୍ତି ଇତି ଯଦି ଗୃହପତି ର୍ଜ୍ଞାତୁଂ ଶକ୍ନୋତି ତଦାୱଶ୍ୟଂ ଜାଗ୍ରନ୍ ନିଜଗୃହେ ସନ୍ଧିଂ କର୍ତ୍ତଯିତୁଂ ୱାରଯତି ଯୂଯମେତଦ୍ ୱିତ୍ତ|
But know this: If the master of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
40 ଅତଏୱ ଯୂଯମପି ସଜ୍ଜମାନାସ୍ତିଷ୍ଠତ ଯତୋ ଯସ୍ମିନ୍ କ୍ଷଣେ ତଂ ନାପ୍ରେକ୍ଷଧ୍ୱେ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ନେୱ କ୍ଷଣେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ଆଗମିଷ୍ୟତି|
Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect him.”
41 ତଦା ପିତରଃ ପପ୍ରଚ୍ଛ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ ଭୱାନ୍ କିମସ୍ମାନ୍ ଉଦ୍ଦିଶ୍ୟ କିଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାନ୍ ଉଦ୍ଦିଶ୍ୟ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତକଥାମିମାଂ ୱଦତି?
Then Peter said to him, “Lord, are yoʋ telling this parable only for us, or for everyone else as well?”
42 ତତଃ ପ୍ରଭୁଃ ପ୍ରୋୱାଚ, ପ୍ରଭୁଃ ସମୁଚିତକାଲେ ନିଜପରିୱାରାର୍ଥଂ ଭୋଜ୍ୟପରିୱେଷଣାଯ ଯଂ ତତ୍ପଦେ ନିଯୋକ୍ଷ୍ୟତି ତାଦୃଶୋ ୱିଶ୍ୱାସ୍ୟୋ ବୋଦ୍ଧା କର୍ମ୍ମାଧୀଶଃ କୋସ୍ତି?
The Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time?
43 ପ୍ରଭୁରାଗତ୍ୟ ଯମ୍ ଏତାଦୃଶେ କର୍ମ୍ମଣି ପ୍ରୱୃତ୍ତଂ ଦ୍ରକ୍ଷ୍ୟତି ସଏୱ ଦାସୋ ଧନ୍ୟଃ|
Blessed is that servant whom his master finds doing so when he comes.
44 ଅହଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ଯଥାର୍ଥଂ ୱଦାମି ସ ତଂ ନିଜସର୍ୱ୍ୱସ୍ୱସ୍ୟାଧିପତିଂ କରିଷ୍ୟତି|
Truly I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.
45 କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁର୍ୱିଲମ୍ବେନାଗମିଷ୍ୟତି, ଇତି ୱିଚିନ୍ତ୍ୟ ସ ଦାସୋ ଯଦି ତଦନ୍ୟଦାସୀଦାସାନ୍ ପ୍ରହର୍ତ୍ତୁମ୍ ଭୋକ୍ତୁଂ ପାତୁଂ ମଦିତୁଞ୍ଚ ପ୍ରାରଭତେ,
But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delayed in coming,’ and he begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and get drunk,
46 ତର୍ହି ଯଦା ପ୍ରଭୁଂ ନାପେକ୍ଷିଷ୍ୟତେ ଯସ୍ମିନ୍ କ୍ଷଣେ ସୋଽଚେତନଶ୍ଚ ସ୍ଥାସ୍ୟତି ତସ୍ମିନ୍ନେୱ କ୍ଷଣେ ତସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଭୁରାଗତ୍ୟ ତଂ ପଦଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ୱିଶ୍ୱାସହୀନୈଃ ସହ ତସ୍ୟ ଅଂଶଂ ନିରୂପଯିଷ୍ୟତି|
the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not foresee, and will cut him in two and assign his portion to be with the unfaithful.
47 ଯୋ ଦାସଃ ପ୍ରଭେରାଜ୍ଞାଂ ଜ୍ଞାତ୍ୱାପି ସଜ୍ଜିତୋ ନ ତିଷ୍ଠତି ତଦାଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେଣ ଚ କାର୍ୟ୍ୟଂ ନ କରୋତି ସୋନେକାନ୍ ପ୍ରହାରାନ୍ ପ୍ରାପ୍ସ୍ୟତି;
That servant who knew his master's will, but did not prepare himself or act according to his will, will be beaten with many lashes.
48 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୋ ଜନୋଽଜ୍ଞାତ୍ୱା ପ୍ରହାରାର୍ହଂ କର୍ମ୍ମ କରୋତି ସୋଲ୍ପପ୍ରହାରାନ୍ ପ୍ରାପ୍ସ୍ୟତି| ଯତୋ ଯସ୍ମୈ ବାହୁଲ୍ୟେନ ଦତ୍ତଂ ତସ୍ମାଦେୱ ବାହୁଲ୍ୟେନ ଗ୍ରହୀଷ୍ୟତେ, ମାନୁଷା ଯସ୍ୟ ନିକଟେ ବହୁ ସମର୍ପଯନ୍ତି ତସ୍ମାଦ୍ ବହୁ ଯାଚନ୍ତେ|
But the one who did not know his master's will, yet did what deserved a beating, will be beaten with few lashes. From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from him to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.
49 ଅହଂ ପୃଥିୱ୍ୟାମ୍ ଅନୈକ୍ୟରୂପଂ ୱହ୍ନି ନିକ୍ଷେପ୍ତୁମ୍ ଆଗତୋସ୍ମି, ସ ଚେଦ୍ ଇଦାନୀମେୱ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଲତି ତତ୍ର ମମ କା ଚିନ୍ତା?
“I have come to bring fire to the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!
50 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେନ ମଜ୍ଜନେନାହଂ ମଗ୍ନୋ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟାମି ଯାୱତ୍କାଲଂ ତସ୍ୟ ସିଦ୍ଧି ର୍ନ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି ତାୱଦହଂ କତିକଷ୍ଟଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ସ୍ୟାମି|
But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how consumed I am with it until it is completed!
51 ମେଲନଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ଜଗଦ୍ ଆଗତୋସ୍ମି ଯୂଯଂ କିମିତ୍ଥଂ ବୋଧଧ୍ୱେ? ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ୱଦାମି ନ ତଥା, କିନ୍ତ୍ୱହଂ ମେଲନାଭାୱଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂମ୍ ଆଗତୋସ୍ମି|
Do you think I have come to grant peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division.
52 ଯସ୍ମାଦେତତ୍କାଲମାରଭ୍ୟ ଏକତ୍ରସ୍ଥପରିଜନାନାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ ପଞ୍ଚଜନାଃ ପୃଥଗ୍ ଭୂତ୍ୱା ତ୍ରଯୋ ଜନା ଦ୍ୱଯୋର୍ଜନଯୋଃ ପ୍ରତିକୂଲା ଦ୍ୱୌ ଜନୌ ଚ ତ୍ରଯାଣାଂ ଜନାନାଂ ପ୍ରତିକୂଲୌ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟନ୍ତି|
For from now on five in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three.
53 ପିତା ପୁତ୍ରସ୍ୟ ୱିପକ୍ଷଃ ପୁତ୍ରଶ୍ଚ ପିତୁ ର୍ୱିପକ୍ଷୋ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି ମାତା କନ୍ୟାଯା ୱିପକ୍ଷା କନ୍ୟା ଚ ମାତୁ ର୍ୱିପକ୍ଷା ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି, ତଥା ଶ୍ୱଶ୍ରୂର୍ବଧ୍ୱା ୱିପକ୍ଷା ବଧୂଶ୍ଚ ଶ୍ୱଶ୍ର୍ୱା ୱିପକ୍ଷା ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି|
Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”
54 ସ ଲୋକେଭ୍ୟୋପରମପି କଥଯାମାସ, ପଶ୍ଚିମଦିଶି ମେଘୋଦ୍ଗମଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟ୍ୱା ଯୂଯଂ ହଠାଦ୍ ୱଦଥ ୱୃଷ୍ଟି ର୍ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି ତତସ୍ତଥୈୱ ଜାଯତେ|
Jesus also said to the crowds, “When you see a cloud rising from the west, you immediately say, ‘A rainstorm is coming,’ and that is what happens.
55 ଅପରଂ ଦକ୍ଷିଣତୋ ୱାଯୌ ୱାତି ସତି ୱଦଥ ନିଦାଘୋ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି ତତଃ ସୋପି ଜାଯତେ|
And when you see the south wind blowing, you say, ‘There will be scorching heat,’ and it happens.
56 ରେ ରେ କପଟିନ ଆକାଶସ୍ୟ ଭୂମ୍ୟାଶ୍ଚ ଲକ୍ଷଣଂ ବୋଦ୍ଧୁଂ ଶକ୍ନୁଥ,
Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky, so why can you not interpret this present time?
57 କିନ୍ତୁ କାଲସ୍ୟାସ୍ୟ ଲକ୍ଷଣଂ କୁତୋ ବୋଦ୍ଧୁଂ ନ ଶକ୍ନୁଥ? ଯୂଯଞ୍ଚ ସ୍ୱଯଂ କୁତୋ ନ ନ୍ୟାଷ୍ୟଂ ୱିଚାରଯଥ?
“Why do you not judge for yourselves what is right?
58 ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ୱିୱାଦିନା ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧଂ ୱିଚାରଯିତୁଃ ସମୀପଂ ଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ ପଥି ତସ୍ମାଦୁଦ୍ଧାରଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତୁଂ ଯତସ୍ୱ ନୋଚେତ୍ ସ ତ୍ୱାଂ ଧୃତ୍ୱା ୱିଚାରଯିତୁଃ ସମୀପଂ ନଯତି| ୱିଚାରଯିତା ଯଦି ତ୍ୱାଂ ପ୍ରହର୍ତ୍ତୁଃ ସମୀପଂ ସମର୍ପଯତି ପ୍ରହର୍ତ୍ତା ତ୍ୱାଂ କାରାଯାଂ ବଧ୍ନାତି
As yoʋ are going with yoʋr adversary before the magistrate, make an effort to settle with him on the way, lest he drag yoʋ to the judge, and the judge hand yoʋ over to the officer, and the officer throw yoʋ into prison.
59 ତର୍ହି ତ୍ୱାମହଂ ୱଦାମି ତ୍ୱଯା ନିଃଶେଷଂ କପର୍ଦକେଷୁ ନ ପରିଶୋଧିତେଷୁ ତ୍ୱଂ ତତୋ ମୁକ୍ତିଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତୁଂ ନ ଶକ୍ଷ୍ୟସି|
I tell yoʋ, yoʋ will certainly not come out of there until yoʋ have paid the very last cent.”
