< ପ୍ରେରିତାଃ 4 >

1 ଯସ୍ମିନ୍ ସମଯେ ପିତରଯୋହନୌ ଲୋକାନ୍ ଉପଦିଶତସ୍ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ସମଯେ ଯାଜକା ମନ୍ଦିରସ୍ୟ ସେନାପତଯଃ ସିଦୂକୀଗଣଶ୍ଚ
As Peter and John were speaking to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple guard, and the Sadducees came to them,
2 ତଯୋର୍ ଉପଦେଶକରଣେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟସ୍ୟୋତ୍ଥାନମ୍ ଉପଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେଷାଂ ମୃତାନାମ୍ ଉତ୍ଥାନପ୍ରସ୍ତାୱେ ଚ ୱ୍ୟଗ୍ରାଃ ସନ୍ତସ୍ତାୱୁପାଗମନ୍|
greatly annoyed because they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
3 ତୌ ଧୃତ୍ୱା ଦିନାୱସାନକାରଣାତ୍ ପରଦିନପର୍ୟ୍ୟନନ୍ତଂ ରୁଦ୍ଧ୍ୱା ସ୍ଥାପିତୱନ୍ତଃ|
So they arrested them and took them into custody until the next day, for it was already evening.
4 ତଥାପି ଯେ ଲୋକାସ୍ତଯୋରୁପଦେଶମ୍ ଅଶୃଣ୍ୱନ୍ ତେଷାଂ ପ୍ରାଯେଣ ପଞ୍ଚସହସ୍ରାଣି ଜନା ୱ୍ୟଶ୍ୱସନ୍|
But many who heard the word believed, and the number of men who believed came to about five thousand.
5 ପରେଽହନି ଅଧିପତଯଃ ପ୍ରାଚୀନା ଅଧ୍ୟାପକାଶ୍ଚ ହାନନନାମା ମହାଯାଜକଃ
On the next day, the rulers, elders, and scribes were gathered together in Jerusalem,
6 କିଯଫା ଯୋହନ୍ ସିକନ୍ଦର ଇତ୍ୟାଦଯୋ ମହାଯାଜକସ୍ୟ ଜ୍ଞାତଯଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ୍ନଗରେ ମିଲିତାଃ|
along with Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and all who were members of the high-priestly family.
7 ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ପ୍ରେରିତୌ ମଧ୍ୟେ ସ୍ଥାପଯିତ୍ୱାପୃଚ୍ଛନ୍ ଯୁୱାଂ କଯା ଶକ୍ତଯା ୱା କେନ ନାମ୍ନା କର୍ମ୍ମାଣ୍ୟେତାନି କୁରୁଥଃ?
After making Peter and John stand before them, they began to question them: “By what power or by what name did you do this?”
8 ତଦା ପିତରଃ ପୱିତ୍ରେଣାତ୍ମନା ପରିପୂର୍ଣଃ ସନ୍ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱାଦୀତ୍, ହେ ଲୋକାନାମ୍ ଅଧିପତିଗଣ ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଯେଲୀଯପ୍ରାଚୀନାଃ,
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel,
9 ଏତସ୍ୟ ଦୁର୍ବ୍ବଲମାନୁଷସ୍ୟ ହିତଂ ଯତ୍ କର୍ମ୍ମାକ୍ରିଯତ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ସ ଯେନ ପ୍ରକାରେଣ ସ୍ୱସ୍ଥୋଭୱତ୍ ତଚ୍ଚେଦ୍ ଅଦ୍ୟାୱାଂ ପୃଚ୍ଛଥ,
if we are being examined today about a good deed done to a disabled man and by what means he has been healed,
10 ତର୍ହି ସର୍ୱ୍ୱ ଇସ୍ରାଯେଲୀଯଲୋକା ଯୂଯଂ ଜାନୀତ ନାସରତୀଯୋ ଯୋ ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଃ କ୍ରୁଶେ ଯୁଷ୍ମାଭିରୱିଧ୍ୟତ ଯଶ୍ଚେଶ୍ୱରେଣ ଶ୍ମଶାନାଦ୍ ଉତ୍ଥାପିତଃ, ତସ୍ୟ ନାମ୍ନା ଜନୋଯଂ ସ୍ୱସ୍ଥଃ ସନ୍ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ସମ୍ମୁଖେ ପ୍ରୋତ୍ତିଷ୍ଠତି|
let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that this man is standing before you in good health by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified and whom God raised from the dead.
11 ନିଚେତୃଭି ର୍ୟୁଷ୍ମାଭିରଯଂ ଯଃ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରୋଽୱଜ୍ଞାତୋଽଭୱତ୍ ସ ପ୍ରଧାନକୋଣସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରୋଽଭୱତ୍|
This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.
12 ତଦ୍ଭିନ୍ନାଦପରାତ୍ କସ୍ମାଦପି ପରିତ୍ରାଣଂ ଭୱିତୁଂ ନ ଶକ୍ନୋତି, ଯେନ ତ୍ରାଣଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟେତ ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଲସ୍ୟଲୋକାନାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ ତାଦୃଶଂ କିମପି ନାମ ନାସ୍ତି|
There is salvation in no other, for there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved.”
13 ତଦା ପିତରଯୋହନୋରେତାଦୃଶୀମ୍ ଅକ୍ଷେଭତାଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟ୍ୱା ତାୱୱିଦ୍ୱାଂସୌ ନୀଚଲୋକାୱିତି ବୁଦ୍ଧ୍ୱା ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ୟମ୍ ଅମନ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୌ ଚ ଯୀଶୋଃ ସଙ୍ଗିନୌ ଜାତାୱିତି ଜ୍ଞାତୁମ୍ ଅଶକ୍ନୁୱନ୍|
When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and when they realized that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed and recognized that they had been with Jesus.
14 କିନ୍ତୁ ତାଭ୍ୟାଂ ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧଂ ତଂ ସ୍ୱସ୍ଥମାନୁଷଂ ତିଷ୍ଠନ୍ତଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟ୍ୱା ତେ କାମପ୍ୟପରାମ୍ ଆପତ୍ତିଂ କର୍ତ୍ତଂ ନାଶକ୍ନୁନ୍|
But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them, they had nothing to say in opposition.
15 ତଦା ତେ ସଭାତଃ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତରଂ ଗନ୍ତୁଂ ତାନ୍ ଆଜ୍ଞାପ୍ୟ ସ୍ୱଯଂ ପରସ୍ପରମ୍ ଇତି ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାମକୁର୍ୱ୍ୱନ୍
So they ordered Peter and John to step out from the Sanhedrin while they conferred with one another,
16 ତୌ ମାନୱୌ ପ୍ରତି କିଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୱ୍ୟଂ? ତାୱେକଂ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧମ୍ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ୟଂ କର୍ମ୍ମ କୃତୱନ୍ତୌ ତଦ୍ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ୍ନିୱାସିନାଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେଷାଂ ଲୋକାନାଂ ସମୀପେ ପ୍ରାକାଶତ ତଚ୍ଚ ୱଯମପହ୍ନୋତୁଂ ନ ଶକ୍ନୁମଃ|
saying, “What should we do with these men? For it is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem that a notable sign has been done through them, and we cannot deny it.
17 କିନ୍ତୁ ଲୋକାନାଂ ମଧ୍ୟମ୍ ଏତଦ୍ ଯଥା ନ ୱ୍ୟାପ୍ନୋତି ତଦର୍ଥଂ ତୌ ଭଯଂ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶ୍ୟ ତେନ ନାମ୍ନା କମପି ମନୁଷ୍ୟଂ ନୋପଦିଶତମ୍ ଇତି ଦୃଢଂ ନିଷେଧାମଃ|
But so that it may not spread any further among the people, we will strictly warn them to speak no more in this name to any of the people.”
18 ତତସ୍ତେ ପ୍ରେରିତାୱାହୂଯ ଏତଦାଜ୍ଞାପଯନ୍ ଇତଃ ପରଂ ଯୀଶୋ ର୍ନାମ୍ନା କଦାପି କାମପି କଥାଂ ମା କଥଯତଂ କିମପି ନୋପଦିଶଞ୍ଚ|
Then they called them in and ordered them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.
19 ତତଃ ପିତରଯୋହନୌ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱଦତାମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟାଜ୍ଞାଗ୍ରହଣଂ ୱା ଯୁଷ୍ମାକମ୍ ଆଜ୍ଞାଗ୍ରହଣମ୍ ଏତଯୋ ର୍ମଧ୍ୟେ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ଗୋଚରେ କିଂ ୱିହିତଂ? ଯୂଯଂ ତସ୍ୟ ୱିୱେଚନାଂ କୁରୁତ|
But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge.
20 ୱଯଂ ଯଦ୍ ଅପଶ୍ୟାମ ଯଦଶୃଣୁମ ଚ ତନ୍ନ ପ୍ରଚାରଯିଷ୍ୟାମ ଏତତ୍ କଦାପି ଭୱିତୁଂ ନ ଶକ୍ନୋତି|
For we cannot help but speak about what we have seen and heard.”
21 ଯଦଘଟତ ତଦ୍ ଦୃଷ୍ଟା ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ ଲୋକା ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ଗୁଣାନ୍ ଅନ୍ୱୱଦନ୍ ତସ୍ମାତ୍ ଲୋକଭଯାତ୍ ତୌ ଦଣ୍ଡଯିତୁଂ କମପ୍ୟୁପାଯଂ ନ ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ ତେ ପୁନରପି ତର୍ଜଯିତ୍ୱା ତାୱତ୍ୟଜନ୍|
So after threatening Peter and John further, they released them, finding no way to punish them, because all the people were glorifying God for what had happened.
22 ଯସ୍ୟ ମାନୁଷସ୍ୟୈତତ୍ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟକରଣମ୍ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ୟଂ କର୍ମ୍ମାକ୍ରିଯତ ତସ୍ୟ ୱଯଶ୍ଚତ୍ୱାରିଂଶଦ୍ୱତ୍ସରା ୱ୍ୟତୀତାଃ|
For the man on whom this sign of healing had been performed was more than forty years old.
23 ତତଃ ପରଂ ତୌ ୱିସୃଷ୍ଟୌ ସନ୍ତୌ ସ୍ୱସଙ୍ଗିନାଂ ସନ୍ନିଧିଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକୈଃ ପ୍ରାଚୀନଲୋକୈଶ୍ଚ ପ୍ରୋକ୍ତାଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାଃ କଥା ଜ୍ଞାପିତୱନ୍ତୌ|
After being released, Peter and John went to their own people and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them.
24 ତଚ୍ଛ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ସର୍ୱ୍ୱ ଏକଚିତ୍ତୀଭୂଯ ଈଶ୍ୱରମୁଦ୍ଦିଶ୍ୟ ପ୍ରୋଚ୍ଚୈରେତତ୍ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥଯନ୍ତ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ ଗଗଣପୃଥିୱୀପଯୋଧୀନାଂ ତେଷୁ ଚ ଯଦ୍ୟଦ୍ ଆସ୍ତେ ତେଷାଂ ସ୍ରଷ୍ଟେଶ୍ୱରସ୍ତ୍ୱଂ|
When they heard this, they lifted up their voices with one accord to God and said, “Master, yoʋ are God, who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them.
25 ତ୍ୱଂ ନିଜସେୱକେନ ଦାଯୂଦା ୱାକ୍ୟମିଦମ୍ ଉୱଚିଥ, ମନୁଷ୍ୟା ଅନ୍ୟଦେଶୀଯାଃ କୁର୍ୱ୍ୱନ୍ତି କଲହଂ କୁତଃ| ଲୋକାଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ କିମର୍ଥଂ ୱା ଚିନ୍ତାଂ କୁର୍ୱ୍ୱନ୍ତି ନିଷ୍ଫଲାଂ|
It is yoʋ who said through the mouth of yoʋr servant David, ‘Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot foolish things?
26 ପରମେଶସ୍ୟ ତେନୈୱାଭିଷିକ୍ତସ୍ୟ ଜନସ୍ୟ ଚ| ୱିରୁଦ୍ଧମଭିତିଷ୍ଠନ୍ତି ପୃଥିୱ୍ୟାଃ ପତଯଃ କୁତଃ||
The kings of the earth stand up, and the rulers are gathered together, against the Lord and against his Anointed.’
27 ଫଲତସ୍ତୱ ହସ୍ତେନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣଯା ଚ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱ ଯଦ୍ୟତ୍ ସ୍ଥିରୀକୃତଂ ତଦ୍ ଯଥା ସିଦ୍ଧଂ ଭୱତି ତଦର୍ଥଂ ତ୍ୱଂ ଯମ୍ ଅଥିଷିକ୍ତୱାନ୍ ସ ଏୱ ପୱିତ୍ରୋ ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାତିକୂଲ୍ୟେନ ହେରୋଦ୍ ପନ୍ତୀଯପୀଲାତୋ
For indeed both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against yoʋr holy servant Jesus, whom yoʋ anointed,
28 ଽନ୍ୟଦେଶୀଯଲୋକା ଇସ୍ରାଯେଲ୍ଲୋକାଶ୍ଚ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱ ଏତେ ସଭାଯାମ୍ ଅତିଷ୍ଠନ୍|
to do whatever yoʋr hand and yoʋr plan had foreordained to take place.
29 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଧୁନା ତେଷାଂ ତର୍ଜନଂ ଗର୍ଜନଞ୍ଚ ଶୃଣୁ;
And now, Lord, take note of their threats and grant it to yoʋr servants to speak yoʋr word with all boldness,
30 ତଥା ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟକରଣକର୍ମ୍ମଣା ତୱ ବାହୁବଲପ୍ରକାଶପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱକଂ ତୱ ସେୱକାନ୍ ନିର୍ଭଯେନ ତୱ ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ପ୍ରଚାରଯିତୁଂ ତୱ ପୱିତ୍ରପୁତ୍ରସ୍ୟ ଯୀଶୋ ର୍ନାମ୍ନା ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ୟାଣ୍ୟସମ୍ଭୱାନି ଚ କର୍ମ୍ମାଣି କର୍ତ୍ତୁଞ୍ଚାଜ୍ଞାପଯ|
as yoʋ stretch out yoʋr hand to heal and to perform signs and wonders through the name of yoʋr holy servant Jesus.”
31 ଇତ୍ଥଂ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନଯା ଯତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନେ ତେ ସଭାଯାମ୍ ଆସନ୍ ତତ୍ ସ୍ଥାନଂ ପ୍ରାକମ୍ପତ; ତତଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ ପୱିତ୍ରେଣାତ୍ମନା ପରିପୂର୍ଣାଃ ସନ୍ତ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ କଥାମ୍ ଅକ୍ଷୋଭେଣ ପ୍ରାଚାରଯନ୍|
After they prayed, the place where they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking the word of God with boldness.
32 ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯକାରିଲୋକସମୂହା ଏକମନସ ଏକଚିତ୍ତୀଭୂଯ ସ୍ଥିତାଃ| ତେଷାଂ କେପି ନିଜସମ୍ପତ୍ତିଂ ସ୍ୱୀଯାଂ ନାଜାନନ୍ କିନ୍ତୁ ତେଷାଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାଃ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତ୍ୟଃ ସାଧାରଣ୍ୟେନ ସ୍ଥିତାଃ|
Now the hearts and souls of the multitude of believers were one, and no one was saying that any of their belongings was his own, but everything they owned was held in common.
33 ଅନ୍ୟଚ୍ଚ ପ୍ରେରିତା ମହାଶକ୍ତିପ୍ରକାଶପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱକଂ ପ୍ରଭୋ ର୍ୟୀଶୋରୁତ୍ଥାନେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟମ୍ ଅଦଦୁଃ, ତେଷୁ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେଷୁ ମହାନୁଗ୍ରହୋଽଭୱଚ୍ଚ|
With great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.
34 ତେଷାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ କସ୍ୟାପି ଦ୍ରୱ୍ୟନ୍ୟୂନତା ନାଭୱଦ୍ ଯତସ୍ତେଷାଂ ଗୃହଭୂମ୍ୟାଦ୍ୟା ଯାଃ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତଯ ଆସନ୍ ତା ୱିକ୍ରୀଯ
There was no one needy among them, for all who owned plots of land or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold.
35 ତନ୍ମୂଲ୍ୟମାନୀଯ ପ୍ରେରିତାନାଂ ଚରଣେଷୁ ତୈଃ ସ୍ଥାପିତଂ; ତତଃ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକଶଃ ପ୍ରଯୋଜନାନୁସାରେଣ ଦତ୍ତମଭୱତ୍|
They laid the money at the feet of the apostles, and the proceeds were distributed to anyone who had need.
36 ୱିଶେଷତଃ କୁପ୍ରୋପଦ୍ୱୀପୀଯୋ ଯୋସିନାମକୋ ଲେୱିୱଂଶଜାତ ଏକୋ ଜନୋ ଭୂମ୍ୟଧିକାରୀ, ଯଂ ପ୍ରେରିତା ବର୍ଣବ୍ବା ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନାଦାଯକ ଇତ୍ୟୁକ୍ତ୍ୱା ସମାହୂଯନ୍,
Joses, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “Son of Encouragement”), a Levite and Cypriot by birth,
37 ସ ଜନୋ ନିଜଭୂମିଂ ୱିକ୍ରୀଯ ତନ୍ମୂଲ୍ୟମାନୀଯ ପ୍ରେରିତାନାଂ ଚରଣେଷୁ ସ୍ଥାପିତୱାନ୍|
also sold a field he owned and then brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.
