୨ ଥିଷଲନୀକିନଃ 2

1 ହେ ଭ୍ରାତରଃ, ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ପ୍ରଭୋ ର୍ୟୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟସ୍ୟାଗମନଂ ତସ୍ୟ ସମୀପେ ଽସ୍ମାକଂ ସଂସ୍ଥିତିଞ୍ଚାଧି ୱଯଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ଇଦଂ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥଯାମହେ,

But we ask you, brothers, concerning the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ and of our gathering to him,

2 ପ୍ରଭେସ୍ତଦ୍ ଦିନଂ ପ୍ରାଯେଣୋପସ୍ଥିତମ୍ ଇତି ଯଦି କଶ୍ଚିଦ୍ ଆତ୍ମନା ୱାଚା ୱା ପତ୍ରେଣ ୱାସ୍ମାକମ୍ ଆଦେଶଂ କଲ୍ପଯନ୍ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ଗଦତି ତର୍ହି ଯୂଯଂ ତେନ ଚଞ୍ଚଲମନସ ଉଦ୍ୱିଗ୍ନାଶ୍ଚ ନ ଭୱତ|

that you not be readily disturbed or terrified in your minds, by any spirit, or word, or epistle, supposedly sent from us, claiming that the day of the Lord is close by.

3 କେନାପି ପ୍ରକାରେଣ କୋଽପି ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ନ ୱଞ୍ଚଯତୁ ଯତସ୍ତସ୍ମାଦ୍ ଦିନାତ୍ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ଧର୍ମ୍ମଲୋପେନୋପସ୍ୟାତୱ୍ୟଂ,

Let no one deceive you in any way. For this cannot be, unless the apostasy will have arrived first, and the man of sin will have been revealed, the son of perdition,

4 ଯଶ୍ଚ ଜନୋ ୱିପକ୍ଷତାଂ କୁର୍ୱ୍ୱନ୍ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱସ୍ମାଦ୍ ଦେୱାତ୍ ପୂଜନୀଯୱସ୍ତୁଶ୍ଚୋନ୍ନଂସ୍ୟତେ ସ୍ୱମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରମିୱ ଦର୍ଶଯନ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରୱଦ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ମନ୍ଦିର ଉପୱେକ୍ଷ୍ୟତି ଚ ତେନ ୱିନାଶପାତ୍ରେଣ ପାପପୁରୁଷେଣୋଦେତୱ୍ୟଂ|

who is an adversary to, and who is lifted up above, all that is called God or that is worshipped, so much so that he sits in the temple of God, presenting himself as if he were God.

5 ଯଦାହଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ସନ୍ନିଧାୱାସଂ ତଦାନୀମ୍ ଏତଦ୍ ଅକଥଯମିତି ଯୂଯଂ କିଂ ନ ସ୍ମରଥ?

Do you not recall that, when I was still with you, I told you these things?

6 ସାମ୍ପ୍ରତଂ ସ ଯେନ ନିୱାର୍ୟ୍ୟତେ ତଦ୍ ଯୂଯଂ ଜାନୀଥ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସ୍ୱସମଯେ ତେନୋଦେତୱ୍ୟଂ|

And now you know what it is that holds him back, so that he may be revealed in his own time.

7 ୱିଧର୍ମ୍ମସ୍ୟ ନିଗୂଢୋ ଗୁଣ ଇଦାନୀମପି ଫଲତି କିନ୍ତୁ ଯସ୍ତଂ ନିୱାରଯତି ସୋଽଦ୍ୟାପି ଦୂରୀକୃତୋ ନାଭୱତ୍|

For the mystery of iniquity is already at work. And only one now holds back, and will continue to hold back, until he is taken from our midst.

8 ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ଦୂରୀକୃତେ ସ ୱିଧର୍ମ୍ମ୍ୟୁଦେଷ୍ୟତି କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ର୍ୟୀଶୁଃ ସ୍ୱମୁଖପୱନେନ ତଂ ୱିଧ୍ୱଂସଯିଷ୍ୟତି ନିଜୋପସ୍ଥିତେସ୍ତେଜସା ୱିନାଶଯିଷ୍ୟତି ଚ|

And then that iniquitous one shall be revealed, the one whom the Lord Jesus shall bring to ruin with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy at the brightness of his return:

9 ଶଯତାନସ୍ୟ ଶକ୍ତିପ୍ରକାଶନାଦ୍ ୱିନାଶ୍ୟମାନାନାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱୱିଧାଃ ପରାକ୍ରମା ଭ୍ରମିକା ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ୟକ୍ରିଯା ଲକ୍ଷଣାନ୍ୟଧର୍ମ୍ମଜାତା ସର୍ୱ୍ୱୱିଧପ୍ରତାରଣା ଚ ତସ୍ୟୋପସ୍ଥିତେଃ ଫଲଂ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି;

him whose advent is accompanied by the works of Satan, with every kind of power and signs and false miracles,

10 ଯତୋ ହେତୋସ୍ତେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣପ୍ରାପ୍ତଯେ ସତ୍ୟଧର୍ମ୍ମସ୍ୟାନୁରାଗଂ ନ ଗୃହୀତୱନ୍ତସ୍ତସ୍ମାତ୍ କାରଣାଦ୍

and with every seduction of iniquity, toward those who are perishing because they have not accepted the love of truth, so that they may be saved.

11 ଈଶ୍ୱରେଣ ତାନ୍ ପ୍ରତି ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତିକରମାଯାଯାଂ ପ୍ରେଷିତାଯାଂ ତେ ମୃଷାୱାକ୍ୟେ ୱିଶ୍ୱସିଷ୍ୟନ୍ତି|

For this reason, God will send to them works of deception, so that they may believe in lies,

12 ଯତୋ ଯାୱନ୍ତୋ ମାନୱାଃ ସତ୍ୟଧର୍ମ୍ମେ ନ ୱିଶ୍ୱସ୍ୟାଧର୍ମ୍ମେଣ ତୁଷ୍ୟନ୍ତି ତୈଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱୈ ର୍ଦଣ୍ଡଭାଜନୈ ର୍ଭୱିତୱ୍ୟଂ|

in order that all those who have not believed in the truth, but who have consented to iniquity, may be judged.

13 ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋଃ ପ୍ରିଯା ଭ୍ରାତରଃ, ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ କୃତ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ଧନ୍ୟୱାଦୋଽସ୍ମାଭିଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଦା କର୍ତ୍ତୱ୍ୟୋ ଯତ ଈଶ୍ୱର ଆ ପ୍ରଥମାଦ୍ ଆତ୍ମନଃ ପାୱନେନ ସତ୍ୟଧର୍ମ୍ମେ ୱିଶ୍ୱାସେନ ଚ ପରିତ୍ରାଣାର୍ଥଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ୱରୀତୱାନ୍

Yet we must always give thanks to God for you, brothers, beloved of God, because God has chosen you as first-fruits for salvation, by the sanctification of the Spirit and by faith in the truth.

14 ତଦର୍ଥଞ୍ଚାସ୍ମାଭି ର୍ଘୋଷିତେନ ସୁସଂୱାଦେନ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ଆହୂଯାସ୍ମାକଂ ପ୍ରଭୋ ର୍ୟୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟସ୍ୟ ତେଜସୋଽଧିକାରିଣଃ କରିଷ୍ୟତି|

He has also called you into truth through our Gospel, unto the acquisition of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15 ଅତୋ ହେ ଭ୍ରାତରଃ ଯୂଯମ୍ ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ୱାକ୍ୟୈଃ ପତ୍ରୈଶ୍ଚ ଯାଂ ଶିକ୍ଷାଂ ଲବ୍ଧୱନ୍ତସ୍ତାଂ କୃତ୍ସ୍ନାଂ ଶିକ୍ଷାଂ ଧାରଯନ୍ତଃ ସୁସ୍ଥିରା ଭୱତ|

And so, brothers, stand firm, and hold to the traditions that you have learned, whether by word or by our epistle.

16 ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ପ୍ରଭୁ ର୍ୟୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟସ୍ତାତ ଈଶ୍ୱରଶ୍ଚାର୍ଥତୋ ଯୋ ଯୁଷ୍ମାସୁ ପ୍ରେମ କୃତୱାନ୍ ନିତ୍ୟାଞ୍ଚ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନାମ୍ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହେଣୋତ୍ତମପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶାଞ୍ଚ ଯୁଷ୍ମଭ୍ୟଂ ଦତ୍ତୱାନ୍ (aiōnios g166)

So may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who has loved us and who has given us an everlasting consolation and good hope in grace, (aiōnios g166)

17 ସ ସ୍ୱଯଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକମ୍ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣାନି ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱଯତୁ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱସ୍ମିନ୍ ସଦ୍ୱାକ୍ୟେ ସତ୍କର୍ମ୍ମଣି ଚ ସୁସ୍ଥିରୀକରୋତୁ ଚ|

exhort your hearts and confirm you in every good word and deed.
