പ്രകാശിതം 8

1 അനന്തരം സപ്തമമുദ്രായാം തേന മോചിതായാം സാർദ്ധദണ്ഡകാലം സ്വർഗോ നിഃശബ്ദോഽഭവത്|

And when he openeth the seventh seal, there came silence in the heaven about half-an-hour,

2 അപരമ് അഹമ് ഈശ്വരസ്യാന്തികേ തിഷ്ഠതഃ സപ്തദൂതാൻ അപശ്യം തേഭ്യഃ സപ്തതൂര്യ്യോഽദീയന്ത|

and I saw the seven messengers who before God have stood, and there were given to them seven trumpets,

3 തതഃ പരമ് അന്യ ഏകോ ദൂത ആഗതഃ സ സ്വർണധൂപാധാരം ഗൃഹീത്വാ വേദിമുപാതിഷ്ഠത് സ ച യത് സിംഹാസനസ്യാന്തികേ സ്ഥിതായാഃ സുവർണവേദ്യാ ഉപരി സർവ്വേഷാം പവിത്രലോകാനാം പ്രാർഥനാസു ധൂപാൻ യോജയേത് തദർഥം പ്രചുരധൂപാസ്തസ്മൈ ദത്താഃ|

and another messenger did come, and he stood at the altar, having a golden censer, and there was given to him much perfume, that he may give [it] to the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar that [is] before the throne,

4 തതസ്തസ്യ ദൂതസ്യ കരാത് പവിത്രലോകാനാം പ്രാർഥനാഭിഃ സംയുക്തധൂപാനാം ധൂമ ഈശ്വരസ്യ സമക്ഷം ഉദതിഷ്ഠത്|

and go up did the smoke of the perfumes to the prayers of the saints out of the hand of the messenger, before God;

5 പശ്ചാത് സ ദൂതോ ധൂപാധാരം ഗൃഹീത്വാ വേദ്യാ വഹ്നിനാ പൂരയിത്വാ പൃഥിവ്യാം നിക്ഷിപ്തവാൻ തേന രവാ മേഘഗർജ്ജനാനി വിദ്യുതോ ഭൂമികമ്പശ്ചാഭവൻ|

and the messenger took the censer, and did fill it out of the fire of the altar, and did cast [it] to the earth, and there came voices, and thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

6 തതഃ പരം സപ്തതൂരീ ർധാരയന്തഃ സപ്തദൂതാസ്തൂരീ ർവാദയിതുമ് ഉദ്യതാ അഭവൻ|

And the seven messengers who are having the seven trumpets did prepare themselves that they may sound;

7 പ്രഥമേന തൂര്യ്യാം വാദിതായാം രക്തമിശ്രിതൗ ശിലാവഹ്നീ സമ്ഭൂയ പൃഥിവ്യാം നിക്ഷിപ്തൗ തേന പൃഥിവ്യാസ്തൃതീയാംശോ ദഗ്ധഃ, തരൂണാമപി തൃതീയാംശോ ദഗ്ധഃ, ഹരിദ്വർണതൃണാനി ച സർവ്വാണി ദഗ്ധാനി|

and the first messenger did sound, and there came hail and fire, mingled with blood, and it was cast to the land, and the third of the trees was burnt up, and all the green grass was burnt up.

8 അനന്തരം ദ്വിതീയദൂതേന തൂര്യ്യാം വാദിതായാം വഹ്നിനാ പ്രജ്വലിതോ മഹാപർവ്വതഃ സാഗരേ നിക്ഷിപ്തസ്തേന സാഗരസ്യ തൃതീയാംശോ രക്തീഭൂതഃ

And the second messenger did sound, and as it were a great mountain with fire burning was cast into the sea, and the third of the sea became blood,

9 സാഗരേ സ്ഥിതാനാം സപ്രാണാനാം സൃഷ്ടവസ്തൂനാം തൃതീയാംശോ മൃതഃ, അർണവയാനാനാമ് അപി തൃതീയാംശോ നഷ്ടഃ|

and die did the third of the creatures that [are] in the sea, those having life, and the third of the ships were destroyed.

10 അപരം തൃതീയദൂതേന തൂര്യ്യാം വാദിതായാം ദീപ ഇവ ജ്വലന്തീ ഏകാ മഹതീ താരാ ഗഗണാത് നിപത്യ നദീനാം ജലപ്രസ്രവണാനാഞ്ചോപര്യ്യാവതീർണാ|

And the third messenger did sound, and there fell out of the heaven a great star, burning as a lamp, and it did fall upon the third of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters,

11 തസ്യാസ്താരായാ നാമ നാഗദമനകമിതി, തേന തോയാനാം തൃതീയാംശേ നാഗദമനകീഭൂതേ തോയാനാം തിക്തത്വാത് ബഹവോ മാനവാ മൃതാഃ|

and the name of the star is called Wormwood, and the third of the waters doth become wormwood, and many of the men did die of the waters, because they were made bitter.

12 അപരം ചതുർഥദൂതേന തൂര്യ്യാം വാദിതായാം സൂര്യ്യസ്യ തൃതീയാംശശ്ചന്ദ്രസ്യ തൃതീയാംശോ നക്ഷത്രാണാഞ്ച തൃതീയാംശഃ പ്രഹൃതഃ, തേന തേഷാം തൃതീയാംശേ ഽന്ധകാരീഭൂതേ ദിവസസ്തൃതീയാംശകാലം യാവത് തേജോഹീനോ ഭവതി നിശാപി താമേവാവസ്ഥാം ഗച്ഛതി|

And the fourth messenger did sound, and smitten was the third of the sun, and the third of the moon, and the third of the stars, that darkened may be the third of them, and that the day may not shine — the third of it, and the night in like manner.

13 തദാ നിരീക്ഷമാണേന മയാകാശമധ്യേനാഭിപതത ഏകസ്യ ദൂതസ്യ രവഃ ശ്രുതഃ സ ഉച്ചൈ ർഗദതി, അപരൈ ര്യൈസ്ത്രിഭി ർദൂതൈസ്തൂര്യ്യോ വാദിതവ്യാസ്തേഷാമ് അവശിഷ്ടതൂരീധ്വനിതഃ പൃഥിവീനിവാസിനാം സന്താപഃ സന്താപഃ സന്താപശ്ച സമ്ഭവിഷ്യതി|

And I saw, and I heard one messenger, flying in the mid-heaven, saying with a great voice, 'Woe, woe, woe, to those dwelling upon the land from the rest of the voices of the trumpet of the three messengers who are about to sound.'
