മഥിഃ 7
1 യഥാ യൂയം ദോഷീകൃതാ ന ഭവഥ, തത്കൃതേഽന്യം ദോഷിണം മാ കുരുത|
Iudge not that ye be not iudged.
2 യതോ യാദൃശേന ദോഷേണ യൂയം പരാൻ ദോഷിണഃ കുരുഥ, താദൃശേന ദോഷേണ യൂയമപി ദോഷീകൃതാ ഭവിഷ്യഥ, അന്യഞ്ച യേന പരിമാണേന യുഷ്മാഭിഃ പരിമീയതേ, തേനൈവ പരിമാണേന യുഷ്മത്കൃതേ പരിമായിഷ്യതേ|
For as ye iudge so shall ye be iudged. And wt what mesure ye mete wt the same shall it be mesured to you agayne.
3 അപരഞ്ച നിജനയനേ യാ നാസാ വിദ്യതേ, താമ് അനാലോച്യ തവ സഹജസ്യ ലോചനേ യത് തൃണമ് ആസ്തേ, തദേവ കുതോ വീക്ഷസേ?
Why seist thou a moote in thy brothers eye and perceavest not the beame yt ys yn thyne awne eye.
4 തവ നിജലോചനേ നാസായാം വിദ്യമാനായാം, ഹേ ഭ്രാതഃ, തവ നയനാത് തൃണം ബഹിഷ്യർതും അനുജാനീഹി, കഥാമേതാം നിജസഹജായ കഥം കഥയിതും ശക്നോഷി?
Or why sayest thou to thy brother: suffre me to plucke oute the moote oute of thyne eye and behold a beame is in thyne awne eye.
5 ഹേ കപടിൻ, ആദൗ നിജനയനാത് നാസാം ബഹിഷ്കുരു തതോ നിജദൃഷ്ടൗ സുപ്രസന്നായാം തവ ഭ്രാതൃ ർലോചനാത് തൃണം ബഹിഷ്കർതും ശക്ഷ്യസി|
Ypocryte fyrst cast oute the beame oute of thyne awne eye and then shalte thou se clearly to plucke oute the moote out of thy brothers eye.
6 അന്യഞ്ച സാരമേയേഭ്യഃ പവിത്രവസ്തൂനി മാ വിതരത, വരാഹാണാം സമക്ഷഞ്ച മുക്താ മാ നിക്ഷിപത; നിക്ഷേപണാത് തേ താഃ സർവ്വാഃ പദൈ ർദലയിഷ്യന്തി, പരാവൃത്യ യുഷ്മാനപി വിദാരയിഷ്യന്തി|
Geve not that which is holy to dogges nether cast ye youre pearles before swyne lest they treade them vnder their fete and ye other tourne agayne and all to rent you.
7 യാചധ്വം തതോ യുഷ്മഭ്യം ദായിഷ്യതേ; മൃഗയധ്വം തത ഉദ്ദേശം ലപ്സ്യധ്വേ; ദ്വാരമ് ആഹത, തതോ യുഷ്മത്കൃതേ മുക്തം ഭവിഷ്യതി|
Axe and it shalbe geven you. Seke and ye shall fynd. knocke and it shalbe opened vnto you.
8 യസ്മാദ് യേന യാച്യതേ, തേന ലഭ്യതേ; യേന മൃഗ്യതേ തേനോദ്ദേശഃ പ്രാപ്യതേ; യേന ച ദ്വാരമ് ആഹന്യതേ, തത്കൃതേ ദ്വാരം മോച്യതേ|
For whosoever axeth receaveth and he yt seketh fyndeth and to hym that knocketh it shalbe opened.
9 ആത്മജേന പൂപേ പ്രാർഥിതേ തസ്മൈ പാഷാണം വിശ്രാണയതി,
Ys there eny man amoge you which if his sonne axed hym bread wolde offer him astone?
10 മീനേ യാചിതേ ച തസ്മൈ ഭുജഗം വിതരതി, ഏതാദൃശഃ പിതാ യുഷ്മാകം മധ്യേ ക ആസ്തേ?
Or if he axed fysshe wolde he proffer hym a serpet?
11 തസ്മാദ് യൂയമ് അഭദ്രാഃ സന്തോഽപി യദി നിജബാലകേഭ്യ ഉത്തമം ദ്രവ്യം ദാതും ജാനീഥ, തർഹി യുഷ്മാകം സ്വർഗസ്ഥഃ പിതാ സ്വീയയാചകേഭ്യഃ കിമുത്തമാനി വസ്തൂനി ന ദാസ്യതി?
Yf ye then which are evyll cane geve to youre chyldren good gyftes: how moche moore shall youre father which is in heve geve good thynges to them yt axe hym?
12 യൂഷ്മാൻ പ്രതീതരേഷാം യാദൃശോ വ്യവഹാരോ യുഷ്മാകം പ്രിയഃ, യൂയം താൻ പ്രതി താദൃശാനേവ വ്യവഹാരാൻ വിധത്ത; യസ്മാദ് വ്യവസ്ഥാഭവിഷ്യദ്വാദിനാം വചനാനാമ് ഇതി സാരമ്|
Therfore whatsoever ye wolde that men shulde do to you even so do ye to them. This ys the lawe and the Prophettes.
13 സങ്കീർണദ്വാരേണ പ്രവിശത; യതോ നരകഗമനായ യദ് ദ്വാരം തദ് വിസ്തീർണം യച്ച വർത്മ തദ് ബൃഹത് തേന ബഹവഃ പ്രവിശന്തി|
Enter in at the strayte gate: for wyde is ye gate and broade is the waye that leadeth to destruccion: and many ther be which goo yn therat.
14 അപരം സ്വർഗഗമനായ യദ് ദ്വാരം തത് കീദൃക് സംകീർണം| യച്ച വർത്മ തത് കീദൃഗ് ദുർഗമമ്| തദുദ്ദേഷ്ടാരഃ കിയന്തോഽൽപാഃ|
But strayte is the gate and narowe ys the waye which leadeth vnto lyfe: and feawe there be that fynde it.
15 അപരഞ്ച യേ ജനാ മേഷവേശേന യുഷ്മാകം സമീപമ് ആഗച്ഛന്തി, കിന്ത്വന്തർദുരന്താ വൃകാ ഏതാദൃശേഭ്യോ ഭവിഷ്യദ്വാദിഭ്യഃ സാവധാനാ ഭവത, യൂയം ഫലേന താൻ പരിചേതും ശക്നുഥ|
Beware of false Prophetes which come to you in shepes clothinge but inwardly they are ravenynge wolves.
16 മനുജാഃ കിം കണ്ടകിനോ വൃക്ഷാദ് ദ്രാക്ഷാഫലാനി ശൃഗാലകോലിതശ്ച ഉഡുമ്ബരഫലാനി ശാതയന്തി?
Ye shall knowe them by their frutes. Do men gaddre grapes of thornes? or figges of bryres?
17 തദ്വദ് ഉത്തമ ഏവ പാദപ ഉത്തമഫലാനി ജനയതി, അധമപാദപഏവാധമഫലാനി ജനയതി|
Euen soo every good tree bryngeth forthe good frute. But a corrupte tree bryngethe forthe evyll frute.
18 കിന്തൂത്തമപാദപഃ കദാപ്യധമഫലാനി ജനയിതും ന ശക്നോതി, തഥാധമോപി പാദപ ഉത്തമഫലാനി ജനയിതും ന ശക്നോതി|
A good tree canot brynge forthe bad frute: nor yet a bad tree can bringe forthe good frute.
19 അപരം യേ യേ പാദപാ അധമഫലാനി ജനയന്തി, തേ കൃത്താ വഹ്നൗ ക്ഷിപ്യന്തേ|
Every tree that bryngethe not forthe good frute shalbe hewe doune and cast into the fyre.
20 അതഏവ യൂയം ഫലേന താൻ പരിചേഷ്യഥ|
Wherfore by their frutes ye shall knowe the.
21 യേ ജനാ മാം പ്രഭും വദന്തി, തേ സർവ്വേ സ്വർഗരാജ്യം പ്രവേക്ഷ്യന്തി തന്ന, കിന്തു യോ മാനവോ മമ സ്വർഗസ്ഥസ്യ പിതുരിഷ്ടം കർമ്മ കരോതി സ ഏവ പ്രവേക്ഷ്യതി|
Not all they that saye vnto me Master Master shall enter in to the kyngdome of heven: but he that dothe my fathers will which ys in heven.
22 തദ് ദിനേ ബഹവോ മാം വദിഷ്യന്തി, ഹേ പ്രഭോ ഹേ പ്രഭോ, തവ നാമ്നാ കിമസ്മാമി ർഭവിഷ്യദ്വാക്യം ന വ്യാഹൃതം? തവ നാമ്നാ ഭൂതാഃ കിം ന ത്യാജിതാഃ? തവ നാമ്നാ കിം നാനാദ്ഭുതാനി കർമ്മാണി ന കൃതാനി?
Many will saye to me in that daye Master master have we not in thy name prophesied? And in thy name have caste oute devyls? And in thy name have done many miracles?
23 തദാഹം വദിഷ്യാമി, ഹേ കുകർമ്മകാരിണോ യുഷ്മാൻ അഹം ന വേദ്മി, യൂയം മത്സമീപാദ് ദൂരീഭവത|
And then will I knowlege vnto them that I never knewe them. Departe from me ye workers of iniquite.
24 യഃ കശ്ചിത് മമൈതാഃ കഥാഃ ശ്രുത്വാ പാലയതി, സ പാഷാണോപരി ഗൃഹനിർമ്മാത്രാ ജ്ഞാനിനാ സഹ മയോപമീയതേ|
Whosoever heareth of me these sayinges and doethe the same I wyll lyken hym vnto a wyse man which bylt hys housse on a rocke:
25 യതോ വൃഷ്ടൗ സത്യാമ് ആപ്ലാവ ആഗതേ വായൗ വാതേ ച തേഷു തദ്ഗേഹം ലഗ്നേഷു പാഷാണോപരി തസ്യ ഭിത്തേസ്തന്ന പതതി
and aboundance of rayne descended and the fluddes came and the wyndes blewe and bet vpon that same housse and it fell not because it was grounded on the rocke.
26 കിന്തു യഃ കശ്ചിത് മമൈതാഃ കഥാഃ ശ്രുത്വാ ന പാലയതി സ സൈകതേ ഗേഹനിർമ്മാത്രാ ഽജ്ഞാനിനാ ഉപമീയതേ|
And whosoever heareth of me these sayinges and doth the not shalbe lykened vnto a folysh man which bilt hys housse apo the sondes:
27 യതോ ജലവൃഷ്ടൗ സത്യാമ് ആപ്ലാവ ആഗതേ പവനേ വാതേ ച തൈ ർഗൃഹേ സമാഘാതേ തത് പതതി തത്പതനം മഹദ് ഭവതി|
and abundauce of rayne descended and the fluddes came and ye wyndes blewe and beet vpon that housse and it fell and great was the fall of it.
28 യീശുനൈതേഷു വാക്യേഷു സമാപിതേഷു മാനവാസ്തദീയോപദേശമ് ആശ്ചര്യ്യം മേനിരേ|
And it came to passe that when Iesus had ended these saynges the people were astonnyed at hys doctryne.
29 യസ്മാത് സ ഉപാധ്യായാ ഇവ താൻ നോപദിദേശ കിന്തു സമർഥപുരുഷഇവ സമുപദിദേശ|
For he taught them as one havynge power and not as the Scribes.
