കലസിനഃ 1
1 ഈശ്വരസ്യേച്ഛയാ യീശുഖ്രീഷ്ടസ്യ പ്രേരിതഃ പൗലസ്തീമഥിയോ ഭ്രാതാ ച കലസീനഗരസ്ഥാൻ പവിത്രാൻ വിശ്വസ്താൻ ഖ്രീഷ്ടാശ്രിതഭ്രാതൃൻ പ്രതി പത്രം ലിഖതഃ|
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
2 അസ്മാകം താത ഈശ്വരഃ പ്രഭു ര്യീശുഖ്രീഷ്ടശ്ച യുഷ്മാൻ പ്രതി പ്രസാദം ശാന്തിഞ്ച ക്രിയാസ്താം|
to the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.
3 ഖ്രീഷ്ടേ യീശൗ യുഷ്മാകം വിശ്വാസസ്യ സർവ്വാൻ പവിത്രലോകാൻ പ്രതി പ്രേമ്നശ്ച വാർത്താം ശ്രുത്വാ
We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
4 വയം സദാ യുഷ്മദർഥം പ്രാർഥനാം കുർവ്വന്തഃ സ്വർഗേ നിഹിതായാ യുഷ്മാകം ഭാവിസമ്പദഃ കാരണാത് സ്വകീയപ്രഭോ ര്യീശുഖ്രീഷ്ടസ്യ താതമ് ഈശ്വരം ധന്യം വദാമഃ|
having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which you have toward all the saints,
5 യൂയം തസ്യാ ഭാവിസമ്പദോ വാർത്താം യയാ സുസംവാദരൂപിണ്യാ സത്യവാണ്യാ ജ്ഞാപിതാഃ
because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of truth, the Good News,
6 സാ യദ്വത് കൃസ്നം ജഗദ് അഭിഗച്ഛതി തദ്വദ് യുഷ്മാൻ അപ്യഭ്യഗമത്, യൂയഞ്ച യദ് ദിനമ് ആരഭ്യേശ്വരസ്യാനുഗ്രഹസ്യ വാർത്താം ശ്രുത്വാ സത്യരൂപേണ ജ്ഞാതവന്തസ്തദാരഭ്യ യുഷ്മാകം മധ്യേഽപി ഫലതി വർദ്ധതേ ച|
which has come to you; even as it is in all the world and is bearing fruit and growing, as it does in you also, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;
7 അസ്മാകം പ്രിയഃ സഹദാസോ യുഷ്മാകം കൃതേ ച ഖ്രീഷ്ടസ്യ വിശ്വസ്തപരിചാരകോ യ ഇപഫ്രാസ്തദ് വാക്യം
even as you learned of Epaphras our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on our behalf,
8 യുഷ്മാൻ ആദിഷ്ടവാൻ സ ഏവാസ്മാൻ ആത്മനാ ജനിതം യുഷ്മാകം പ്രേമ ജ്ഞാപിതവാൻ|
who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.
9 വയം യദ് ദിനമ് ആരഭ്യ താം വാർത്താം ശ്രുതവന്തസ്തദാരഭ്യ നിരന്തരം യുഷ്മാകം കൃതേ പ്രാർഥനാം കുർമ്മഃ ഫലതോ യൂയം യത് പൂർണാഭ്യാമ് ആത്മികജ്ഞാനവുദ്ധിഭ്യാമ് ഈശ്വരസ്യാഭിതമം സമ്പൂർണരൂപേണാവഗച്ഛേത,
For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, do not cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
10 പ്രഭോ ര്യോഗ്യം സർവ്വഥാ സന്തോഷജനകഞ്ചാചാരം കുര്യ്യാതാർഥത ഈശ്വരജ്ഞാനേ വർദ്ധമാനാഃ സർവ്വസത്കർമ്മരൂപം ഫലം ഫലേത,
that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 യഥാ ചേശ്വരസ്യ മഹിമയുക്തയാ ശക്ത്യാ സാനന്ദേന പൂർണാം സഹിഷ്ണുതാം തിതിക്ഷാഞ്ചാചരിതും ശക്ഷ്യഥ താദൃശേന പൂർണബലേന യദ് ബലവന്തോ ഭവേത,
strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy;
12 യശ്ച പിതാ തേജോവാസിനാം പവിത്രലോകാനാമ് അധികാരസ്യാംശിത്വായാസ്മാൻ യോഗ്യാൻ കൃതവാൻ തം യദ് ധന്യം വദേത വരമ് ഏനം യാചാമഹേ|
giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light;
13 യതഃ സോഽസ്മാൻ തിമിരസ്യ കർത്തൃത്വാദ് ഉദ്ധൃത്യ സ്വകീയസ്യ പ്രിയപുത്രസ്യ രാജ്യേ സ്ഥാപിതവാൻ|
who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and transferred us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;
14 തസ്മാത് പുത്രാദ് വയം പരിത്രാണമ് അർഥതഃ പാപമോചനം പ്രാപ്തവന്തഃ|
in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins;
15 സ ചാദൃശ്യസ്യേശ്വരസ്യ പ്രതിമൂർതിഃ കൃത്സ്നായാഃ സൃഷ്ടേരാദികർത്താ ച|
who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16 യതഃ സർവ്വമേവ തേന സസൃജേ സിംഹാസനരാജത്വപരാക്രമാദീനി സ്വർഗമർത്ത്യസ്ഥിതാനി ദൃശ്യാദൃശ്യാനി വസ്തൂനി സർവ്വാണി തേനൈവ തസ്മൈ ച സസൃജിരേ|
For by him all things were created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things have been created by him and for him.
17 സ സർവ്വേഷാമ് ആദിഃ സർവ്വേഷാം സ്ഥിതികാരകശ്ച|
He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
18 സ ഏവ സമിതിരൂപായാസ്തനോ ർമൂർദ്ധാ കിഞ്ച സർവ്വവിഷയേ സ യദ് അഗ്രിയോ ഭവേത് തദർഥം സ ഏവ മൃതാനാം മധ്യാത് പ്രഥമത ഉത്ഥിതോഽഗ്രശ്ച|
He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19 യത ഈശ്വരസ്യ കൃത്സ്നം പൂർണത്വം തമേവാവാസയിതും
For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him,
20 ക്രുശേ പാതിതേന തസ്യ രക്തേന സന്ധിം വിധായ തേനൈവ സ്വർഗമർത്ത്യസ്ഥിതാനി സർവ്വാണി സ്വേന സഹ സന്ധാപയിതുഞ്ചേശ്വരേണാഭിലേഷേ|
and through him to reconcile all things to himself, making peace through the blood of his cross through him, whether things on the earth or things in heaven.
21 പൂർവ്വം ദൂരസ്ഥാ ദുഷ്ക്രിയാരതമനസ്കത്വാത് തസ്യ രിപവശ്ചാസ്ത യേ യൂയം താൻ യുഷ്മാൻ അപി സ ഇദാനീം തസ്യ മാംസലശരീരേ മരണേന സ്വേന സഹ സന്ധാപിതവാൻ|
You, who once were alienated and were hostile in your minds, doing evil deeds,
22 യതഃ സ സ്വസമ്മുഖേ പവിത്രാൻ നിഷ്കലങ്കാൻ അനിന്ദനീയാംശ്ച യുഷ്മാൻ സ്ഥാപയിതുമ് ഇച്ഛതി|
yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and blameless before him,
23 കിന്ത്വേതദർഥം യുഷ്മാഭി ർബദ്ധമൂലൈഃ സുസ്ഥിരൈശ്ച ഭവിതവ്യമ്, ആകാശമണ്ഡലസ്യാധഃസ്ഥിതാനാം സർവ്വലോകാനാം മധ്യേ ച ഘുഷ്യമാണോ യഃ സുസംവാദോ യുഷ്മാഭിരശ്രാവി തജ്ജാതായാം പ്രത്യാശായാം യുഷ്മാഭിരചലൈ ർഭവിതവ്യം|
if it is so that you continue in the faith, established and firm, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven; of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
24 തസ്യ സുസംവാദസ്യൈകഃ പരിചാരകോ യോഽഹം പൗലഃ സോഽഹമ് ഇദാനീമ് ആനന്ദേന യുഷ്മദർഥം ദുഃഖാനി സഹേ ഖ്രീഷ്ടസ്യ ക്ലേശഭോഗസ്യ യോംശോഽപൂർണസ്തമേവ തസ്യ തനോഃ സമിതേഃ കൃതേ സ്വശരീരേ പൂരയാമി ച|
Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and I am completing in my flesh what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ for the sake of his body, which is the church;
25 യത ഈശ്വരസ്യ മന്ത്രണയാ യുഷ്മദർഥമ് ഈശ്വരീയവാക്യസ്യ പ്രചാരസ്യ ഭാരോ മയി സമപിതസ്തസ്മാദ് അഹം തസ്യാഃ സമിതേഃ പരിചാരകോഽഭവം|
of which I was made a servant, according to the stewardship of God which was given me toward you, to fulfill the word of God,
26 തത് നിഗൂഢം വാക്യം പൂർവ്വയുഗേഷു പൂർവ്വപുരുഷേഭ്യഃ പ്രച്ഛന്നമ് ആസീത് കിന്ത്വിദാനീം തസ്യ പവിത്രലോകാനാം സന്നിധൗ തേന പ്രാകാശ്യത| (aiōn g165)
the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints. (aiōn g165)
27 യതോ ഭിന്നജാതീയാനാം മധ്യേ തത് നിഗൂഢവാക്യം കീദൃഗ്ഗൗരവനിധിസമ്ബലിതം തത് പവിത്രലോകാൻ ജ്ഞാപയിതുമ് ഈശ്വരോഽഭ്യലഷത്| യുഷ്മന്മധ്യവർത്തീ ഖ്രീഷ്ട ഏവ സ നിധി ർഗൈരവാശാഭൂമിശ്ച|
To them God was pleased to make known the glorious riches of this mystery among the non-Jews, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory;
28 തസ്മാദ് വയം തമേവ ഘോഷയന്തോ യദ് ഏകൈകം മാനവം സിദ്ധീഭൂതം ഖ്രീഷ്ടേ സ്ഥാപയേമ തദർഥമേകൈകം മാനവം പ്രബോധയാമഃ പൂർണജ്ഞാനേന ചൈകൈകം മാനവം ഉപദിശാമഃ|
whom we proclaim, admonishing everyone and teaching everyone all wisdom, that we may present everyone perfect in Christ Jesus;
29 ഏതദർഥം തസ്യ യാ ശക്തിഃ പ്രബലരൂപേണ മമ മധ്യേ പ്രകാശതേ തയാഹം യതമാനഃ ശ്രാഭ്യാമി|
for which I also labor, struggling according to his power, which works in me mightily.
