2 ഥിഷലനീകിനഃ 3

1 ഹേ ഭ്രാതരഃ, ശേഷേ വദാമി, യൂയമ് അസ്മഭ്യമിദം പ്രാർഥയധ്വം യത് പ്രഭോ ർവാക്യം യുഷ്മാകം മധ്യേ യഥാ തഥൈവാന്യത്രാപി പ്രചരേത് മാന്യഞ്ച ഭവേത്;

Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you,

2 യച്ച വയമ് അവിവേചകേഭ്യോ ദുഷ്ടേഭ്യശ്ച ലോകേഭ്യോ രക്ഷാം പ്രാപ്നുയാമ യതഃ സർവ്വേഷാം വിശ്വാസോ ന ഭവതി|

and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith.

3 കിന്തു പ്രഭു ർവിശ്വാസ്യഃ സ ഏവ യുഷ്മാൻ സ്ഥിരീകരിഷ്യതി ദുഷ്ടസ്യ കരാദ് ഉദ്ധരിഷ്യതി ച|

But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

4 യൂയമ് അസ്മാഭി ര്യദ് ആദിശ്യധ്വേ തത് കുരുഥ കരിഷ്യഥ ചേതി വിശ്വാസോ യുഷ്മാനധി പ്രഭുനാസ്മാകം ജായതേ|

We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command.

5 ഈശ്വരസ്യ പ്രേമ്നി ഖ്രീഷ്ടസ്യ സഹിഷ്ണുതായാഞ്ച പ്രഭുഃ സ്വയം യുഷ്മാകമ് അന്തഃകരണാനി വിനയതു|

May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and into the perseverance of Christ.

6 ഹേ ഭ്രാതരഃ, അസ്മത്പ്രഭോ ര്യീശുഖ്രീഷ്ടസ്യ നാമ്നാ വയം യുഷ്മാൻ ഇദമ് ആദിശാമഃ, അസ്മത്തോ യുഷ്മാഭി ര്യാ ശിക്ഷലമ്ഭി താം വിഹായ കശ്ചിദ് ഭ്രാതാ യദ്യവിഹിതാചാരം കരോതി തർഹി യൂയം തസ്മാത് പൃഥഗ് ഭവത|

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion and not after the tradition which they received from us.

7 യതോ വയം യുഷ്മാഭിഃ കഥമ് അനുകർത്തവ്യാസ്തദ് യൂയം സ്വയം ജാനീഥ| യുഷ്മാകം മധ്യേ വയമ് അവിഹിതാചാരിണോ നാഭവാമ,

For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we didn’t behave ourselves rebelliously amongst you,

8 വിനാമൂല്യം കസ്യാപ്യന്നം നാഭുംജ്മഹി കിന്തു കോഽപി യദ് അസ്മാഭി ർഭാരഗ്രസ്തോ ന ഭവേത് തദർഥം ശ്രമേണ ക്ലേശേന ച ദിവാനിശം കാര്യ്യമ് അകുർമ്മ|

neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labour and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you.

9 അത്രാസ്മാകമ് അധികാരോ നാസ്തീത്ഥം നഹി കിന്ത്വസ്മാകമ് അനുകരണായ യുഷ്മാൻ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം ദർശയിതുമ് ഇച്ഛന്തസ്തദ് അകുർമ്മ|

This was not because we don’t have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.

10 യതോ യേന കാര്യ്യം ന ക്രിയതേ തേനാഹാരോഽപി ന ക്രിയതാമിതി വയം യുഷ്മത്സമീപ ഉപസ്ഥിതികാലേഽപി യുഷ്മാൻ ആദിശാമ|

For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.”

11 യുഷ്മന്മധ്യേ ഽവിഹിതാചാരിണഃ കേഽപി ജനാ വിദ്യന്തേ തേ ച കാര്യ്യമ് അകുർവ്വന്ത ആലസ്യമ് ആചരന്തീത്യസ്മാഭിഃ ശ്രൂയതേ|

For we hear of some who walk amongst you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies.

12 താദൃശാൻ ലോകാൻ അസ്മതപ്രഭോ ര്യീശുഖ്രീഷ്ടസ്യ നാമ്നാ വയമ് ഇദമ് ആദിശാമ ആജ്ഞാപയാമശ്ച, തേ ശാന്തഭാവേന കാര്യ്യം കുർവ്വന്തഃ സ്വകീയമന്നം ഭുഞ്ജതാം|

Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.

13 അപരം ഹേ ഭ്രാതരഃ, യൂയം സദാചരണേ ന ക്ലാമ്യത|

But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing what is right.

14 യദി ച കശ്ചിദേതത്പത്രേ ലിഖിതാമ് അസ്മാകമ് ആജ്ഞാം ന ഗൃഹ്ലാതി തർഹി യൂയം തം മാനുഷം ലക്ഷയത തസ്യ സംസർഗം ത്യജത ച തേന സ ത്രപിഷ്യതേ|

If any man doesn’t obey our word in this letter, note that man and have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.

15 കിന്തു തം ന ശത്രും മന്യമാനാ ഭ്രാതരമിവ ചേതയത|

Don’t count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

16 ശാന്തിദാതാ പ്രഭുഃ സർവ്വത്ര സർവ്വഥാ യുഷ്മഭ്യം ശാന്തിം ദേയാത്| പ്രഭു ര്യുഷ്മാകം സർവ്വേഷാം സങ്ഗീ ഭൂയാത്|

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.

17 നമസ്കാര ഏഷ പൗലസ്യ മമ കരേണ ലിഖിതോഽഭൂത് സർവ്വസ്മിൻ പത്ര ഏതന്മമ ചിഹ്നമ് ഏതാദൃശൈരക്ഷരൈ ർമയാ ലിഖ്യതേ|

18 അസ്മാകം പ്രഭോ ര്യീശുഖ്രീഷ്ടസ്യാനുഗ്രഹഃ സർവ്വേഷു യുഷ്മാസു ഭൂയാത്| ആമേൻ|
