មថិះ 24
1 អនន្តរំ យីឝុ រ្យទា មន្ទិរាទ៑ ពហិ រ្គច្ឆតិ, តទានីំ ឝិឞ្យាស្តំ មន្ទិរនិម៌្មាណំ ទឝ៌យិតុមាគតាះ។
Jesus had left the Temple and was going on His way, when His disciples came and called His attention to the Temple buildings.
2 តតោ យីឝុស្តានុវាច, យូយំ កិមេតានិ ន បឝ្យថ? យុឞ្មានហំ សត្យំ វទាមិ, ឯតន្និចយនស្យ បាឞាណៃកមប្យន្យបាឞាណេបរិ ន ស្ថាស្យតិ សវ៌្វាណិ ភូមិសាត៑ ការិឞ្យន្តេ។
"You see all these?" He replied; "in solemn truth I tell you that there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be pulled down."
3 អនន្តរំ តស្មិន៑ ជៃតុនបវ៌្វតោបរិ សមុបវិឞ្ដេ ឝិឞ្យាស្តស្យ សមីបមាគត្យ គុប្តំ បប្រច្ឆុះ, ឯតា ឃដនាះ កទា ភវិឞ្យន្តិ? ភវត អាគមនស្យ យុគាន្តស្យ ច កិំ លក្ឞ្ម? តទស្មាន៑ វទតុ។ (aiōn g165)
Afterwards He was on the Mount of Olives and was seated there when the disciples came to Him, apart from the others, and said, "Tell us when this will be; and what will be the sign of your Coming and of the Close of the Age?" (aiōn g165)
4 តទានីំ យីឝុស្តានវោចត៑, អវធទ្វ្វំ, កោបិ យុឞ្មាន៑ ន ភ្រមយេត៑។
"Take care that no one misleads you," answered Jesus;
5 ពហវោ មម នាម គ្ឫហ្លន្ត អាគមិឞ្យន្តិ, ខ្រីឞ្ដោៜហមេវេតិ វាចំ វទន្តោ ពហូន៑ ភ្រមយិឞ្យន្តិ។
"for many will come assuming my name and saying 'I am the Christ;' and they will mislead many.
6 យូយញ្ច សំគ្រាមស្យ រណស្យ ចាឌម្ពរំ ឝ្រោឞ្យថ, អវធទ្វ្វំ តេន ចញ្ចលា មា ភវត, ឯតាន្យវឝ្យំ ឃដិឞ្យន្តេ, កិន្តុ តទា យុគាន្តោ នហិ។
And before long you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. Do not be alarmed, for such things must be; but the End is not yet.
7 អបរំ ទេឝស្យ វិបក្ឞោ ទេឝោ រាជ្យស្យ វិបក្ឞោ រាជ្យំ ភវិឞ្យតិ, ស្ថានេ ស្ថានេ ច ទុព៌្ហិក្ឞំ មហាមារី ភូកម្បឝ្ច ភវិឞ្យន្តិ,
For nation will rise in arms against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places;
8 ឯតានិ ទុះខោបក្រមាះ។
but all these miseries are but like the early pains of childbirth.
9 តទានីំ លោកា ទុះខំ ភោជយិតុំ យុឞ្មាន៑ បរករេឞុ សមប៌យិឞ្យន្តិ ហនិឞ្យន្តិ ច, តថា មម នាមការណាទ៑ យូយំ សវ៌្វទេឝីយមនុជានាំ សមីបេ ឃ្ឫណាហ៌ា ភវិឞ្យថ។
"At that time they will deliver you up to punishment and will put you to death; and you will be objects of hatred to all the nations because you are called by my name.
10 ពហុឞុ វិឃ្នំ ប្រាប្តវត្សុ បរស្បរម៑ ឫតីយាំ ក្ឫតវត្សុ ច ឯកោៜបរំ បរករេឞុ សមប៌យិឞ្យតិ។
Then will many stumble and fall, and they will betray one another and hate one another.
11 តថា ពហវោ ម្ឫឞាភវិឞ្យទ្វាទិន ឧបស្ថាយ ពហូន៑ ភ្រមយិឞ្យន្តិ។
Many false prophets will rise up and lead multitudes astray;
12 ទុឞ្កម៌្មណាំ ពាហុល្យាញ្ច ពហូនាំ ប្រេម ឝីតលំ ភវិឞ្យតិ។
and because of the prevalent disregard of God's law the love of the great majority will grow cold;
13 កិន្តុ យះ កឝ្ចិត៑ ឝេឞំ យាវទ៑ ធៃយ៌្យមាឝ្រយតេ, សឯវ បរិត្រាយិឞ្យតេ។
but those who stand firm to the End shall be saved.
14 អបរំ សវ៌្វទេឝីយលោកាន៑ ប្រតិមាក្ឞី ភវិតុំ រាជស្យ ឝុភសមាចារះ សវ៌្វជគតិ ប្រចារិឞ្យតេ, ឯតាទ្ឫឝិ សតិ យុគាន្ត ឧបស្ថាស្យតិ។
And this Good News of the Kingdom shall be proclaimed throughout the whole world to set the evidence before all the Gentiles; and then the End will come.
15 អតោ យត៑ សវ៌្វនាឝក្ឫទ្ឃ្ឫណាហ៌ំ វស្តុ ទានិយេល្ភវិឞ្យទ្វទិនា ប្រោក្តំ តទ៑ យទា បុណ្យស្ថានេ ស្ថាបិតំ ទ្រក្ឞ្យថ, (យះ បឋតិ, ស ពុធ្យតាំ)
"When you have seen (to use the language of the Prophet Daniel) the 'Abomination of Desolation', standing in the Holy Place" --let the reader observe those words--
16 តទានីំ យេ យិហូទីយទេឝេ តិឞ្ឋន្តិ, តេ បវ៌្វតេឞុ បលាយន្តាំ។
"then let those who are in Judaea escape to the hills;
17 យះ កឝ្ចិទ៑ គ្ឫហប្ឫឞ្ឋេ តិឞ្ឋតិ, ស គ្ឫហាត៑ កិមបិ វស្ត្វានេតុម៑ អធេ នាវរោហេត៑។
let him who is on the roof not go down to fetch what is in his house;
18 យឝ្ច ក្ឞេត្រេ តិឞ្ឋតិ, សោបិ វស្ត្រមានេតុំ បរាវ្ឫត្យ ន យាយាត៑។
nor let him who is outside the city stay to pick up his outer garment.
19 តទានីំ គព៌្ហិណីស្តន្យបាយយិត្រីណាំ ទុគ៌តិ រ្ភវិឞ្យតិ។
And alas for the women who at that time are with child or have infants!
20 អតោ យឞ្មាកំ បលាយនំ ឝីតកាលេ វិឝ្រាមវារេ វា យន្ន ភវេត៑, តទត៌្ហំ ប្រាត៌្ហយធ្វម៑។
"But pray that your flight may not be in winter, nor on the Sabbath;
21 អា ជគទារម្ភាទ៑ ឯតត្កាលបយ៌្យនន្តំ យាទ្ឫឝះ កទាបិ នាភវត៑ ន ច ភវិឞ្យតិ តាទ្ឫឝោ មហាក្លេឝស្តទានីម៑ ឧបស្ថាស្យតិ។
for it will be a time of great suffering, such as never has been from the beginning of the world till now, and assuredly never will be again.
22 តស្យ ក្លេឝស្យ សមយោ យទិ ហ្ស្វោ ន ក្រិយេត, តហ៌ិ កស្យាបិ ប្រាណិនោ រក្ឞណំ ភវិតុំ ន ឝក្នុយាត៑, កិន្តុ មនោនីតមនុជានាំ ក្ឫតេ ស កាលោ ហ្ស្វីករិឞ្យតេ។
And if those days had not been cut short, no one would escape; but for the sake of God's own People those days will be cut short.
23 អបរញ្ច បឝ្យត, ខ្រីឞ្ដោៜត្រ វិទ្យតេ, វា តត្រ វិទ្យតេ, តទានីំ យទី កឝ្ចិទ៑ យុឞ្មាន ឥតិ វាក្យំ វទតិ, តថាបិ តត៑ ន ប្រតីត៑។
"If at that time any one should say to you, 'See, here is the Christ!' or 'Here!' give no credence to it.
24 យតោ ភាក្តខ្រីឞ្ដា ភាក្តភវិឞ្យទ្វាទិនឝ្ច ឧបស្ថាយ យានិ មហន្តិ លក្ឞ្មាណិ ចិត្រកម៌្មាណិ ច ប្រកាឝយិឞ្យន្តិ, តៃ រ្យទិ សម្ភវេត៑ តហ៌ិ មនោនីតមានវា អបិ ភ្រាមិឞ្យន្តេ។
For there will rise up false Christs and false prophets, displaying wonderful signs and prodigies, so as to deceive, were it possible, even God's own People.
25 បឝ្យត, ឃដនាតះ បូវ៌្វំ យុឞ្មាន៑ វាត៌្តាម៑ អវាទិឞម៑។
Remember, I have forewarned you.
26 អតះ បឝ្យត, ស ប្រាន្តរេ វិទ្យត ឥតិ វាក្យេ កេនចិត៑ កថិតេបិ ពហិ រ្មា គច្ឆត, វា បឝ្យត, សោន្តះបុរេ វិទ្យតេ, ឯតទ្វាក្យ ឧក្តេបិ មា ប្រតីត។
If therefore they should say to you, 'See, He is in the Desert!' do not go out there: or 'See, He is indoors in the room!' do not believe it.
27 យតោ យថា វិទ្យុត៑ បូវ៌្វទិឝោ និគ៌ត្យ បឝ្ចិមទិឝំ យាវត៑ ប្រកាឝតេ, តថា មានុឞបុត្រស្យាប្យាគមនំ ភវិឞ្យតិ។
For just as the lightning flashes in the east and is seen to the very west, so will be the Coming of the Son of Man.
28 យត្រ ឝវស្តិឞ្ឋតិ, តត្រេវ គ្ឫធ្រា មិលន្តិ។
Wherever the dead body is, there will the vultures flock together.
29 អបរំ តស្យ ក្លេឝសមយស្យាវ្យវហិតបរត្រ សូយ៌្យស្យ តេជោ លោប្ស្យតេ, ចន្ទ្រមា ជ្យោស្នាំ ន ករិឞ្យតិ, នភសោ នក្ឞត្រាណិ បតិឞ្យន្តិ, គគណីយា គ្រហាឝ្ច វិចលិឞ្យន្តិ។
"But immediately after those times of distress the sun will be darkened, the moon will not shed her light, the stars will fall from the firmament, and the forces which control the heavens will be disordered and disturbed.
30 តទានីម៑ អាកាឝមធ្យេ មនុជសុតស្យ លក្ឞ្ម ទឝ៌ិឞ្យតេ, តតោ និជបរាក្រមេណ មហាតេជសា ច មេឃារូឍំ មនុជសុតំ នភសាគច្ឆន្តំ វិលោក្យ ប្ឫថិវ្យាះ សវ៌្វវំឝីយា វិលបិឞ្យន្តិ។
Then will appear the Sign of the Son of Man in the sky; and then will all the nations of the earth lament, when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with great power and glory.
31 តទានីំ ស មហាឝព្ទាយមានតូយ៌្យា វាទកាន៑ និជទូតាន៑ ប្រហេឞ្យតិ, តេ វ្យោម្ន ឯកសីមាតោៜបរសីមាំ យាវត៑ ចតុទ៌ិឝស្តស្យ មនោនីតជនាន៑ អានីយ មេលយិឞ្យន្តិ។
And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet-blast, and they will bring together His own People to Him from north, south, east and west--from one extremity of the world to the other.
32 ឧឌុម្ពរបាទបស្យ ទ្ឫឞ្ដាន្តំ ឝិក្ឞធ្វំ; យទា តស្យ នវីនាះ ឝាខា ជាយន្តេ, បល្លវាទិឝ្ច និគ៌ច្ឆតិ, តទា និទាឃកាលះ សវិធោ ភវតីតិ យូយំ ជានីថ;
"Now learn from the fig-tree the lesson it teaches. As soon as its branches have now become soft and it is bursting into leaf, you all know that summer is near.
33 តទ្វទ៑ ឯតា ឃដនា ទ្ឫឞ្ដ្វា ស សមយោ ទ្វារ ឧបាស្ថាទ៑ ឥតិ ជានីត។
So you also, when you see all these signs, may be sure that He is near--at your very door.
34 យុឞ្មានហំ តថ្យំ វទាមិ, ឥទានីន្តនជនានាំ គមនាត៑ បូវ៌្វមេវ តានិ សវ៌្វាណិ ឃដិឞ្យន្តេ។
I tell you in solemn truth that the present generation will certainly not pass away without all these things having first taken place.
35 នភោមេទិន្យោ រ្លុប្តយោរបិ មម វាក៑ កទាបិ ន លោប្ស្យតេ។
Earth and sky will pass away, but it is certain that my words will not pass away.
36 អបរំ មម តាតំ វិនា មានុឞះ ស្វគ៌ស្ថោ ទូតោ វា កោបិ តទ្ទិនំ តទ្ទណ្ឌញ្ច ន ជ្ញាបយតិ។
"But as to that day and the exact time no one knows--not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
37 អបរំ នោហេ វិទ្យមានេ យាទ្ឫឝមភវត៑ តាទ្ឫឝំ មនុជសុតស្យាគមនកាលេបិ ភវិឞ្យតិ។
'For as it was in the time of Noah, so it will be at the Coming of the Son of Man.
38 ផលតោ ជលាប្លាវនាត៑ បូវ៌្វំ យទ្ទិនំ យាវត៑ នោហះ បោតំ នារោហត៑, តាវត្កាលំ យថា មនុឞ្យា ភោជនេ បានេ វិវហនេ វិវាហនេ ច ប្រវ្ឫត្តា អាសន៑;
At that time, before the Deluge, men were busy eating and drinking, taking wives or giving them, up to the very day when Noah entered the Ark,
39 អបរម៑ អាប្លាវិតោយមាគត្យ យាវត៑ សកលមនុជាន៑ ប្លាវយិត្វា នានយត៑, តាវត៑ តេ យថា ន វិទាមាសុះ, តថា មនុជសុតាគមនេបិ ភវិឞ្យតិ។
nor did they realise any danger till the Deluge came and swept them all away; so will it be at the Coming of the Son of Man.
40 តទា ក្ឞេត្រស្ថិតយោទ៌្វយោរេកោ ធារិឞ្យតេ, អបរស្ត្យាជិឞ្យតេ។
Then will two men be in the open country: one will be taken away, and one left behind.
41 តថា បេឞណ្យា បិំឞត្យោរុភយោ រ្យោឞិតោរេកា ធារិឞ្យតេៜបរា ត្យាជិឞ្យតេ។
Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken away, and one left behind.
42 យុឞ្មាកំ ប្រភុះ កស្មិន៑ ទណ្ឌ អាគមិឞ្យតិ, តទ៑ យុឞ្មាភិ រ្នាវគម្យតេ, តស្មាត៑ ជាគ្រតះ សន្តស្តិឞ្ឋត។
Be on the alert therefore, for you do not know the day on which your Lord is coming.
43 កុត្រ យាមេ ស្តេន អាគមិឞ្យតីតិ ចេទ៑ គ្ឫហស្ថោ ជ្ញាតុម៑ អឝក្ឞ្យត៑, តហ៌ិ ជាគរិត្វា តំ សន្ធិំ កត៌្តិតុម៑ អវារយិឞ្យត៑ តទ៑ ជានីត។
But of this be assured, that if the master of the house had known the hour at which the robber was coming, he would have kept awake, and not have allowed his house to be broken into.
44 យុឞ្មាភិរវធីយតាំ, យតោ យុឞ្មាភិ រ្យត្រ ន ពុធ្យតេ, តត្រៃវ ទណ្ឌេ មនុជសុត អាយាស្យតិ។
Therefore you also must be ready; for it is at a time when you do not expect Him that the Son of Man will come.
45 ប្រភុ រ្និជបរិវារាន៑ យថាកាលំ ភោជយិតុំ យំ ទាសម៑ អធ្យក្ឞីក្ឫត្យ ស្ថាបយតិ, តាទ្ឫឝោ វិឝ្វាស្យោ ធីមាន៑ ទាសះ កះ?
"Who therefore is the loyal and intelligent servant to whom his master has entrusted the control of his household to give them their rations at the appointed time?
46 ប្រភុរាគត្យ យំ ទាសំ តថាចរន្តំ វីក្ឞតេ, សឯវ ធន្យះ។
Blessed is that servant whom his master when he comes shall find so doing!
47 យុឞ្មានហំ សត្យំ វទាមិ, ស តំ និជសវ៌្វស្វស្យាធិបំ ករិឞ្យតិ។
In solemn truth I tell you that he will give him the management of all his wealth.
48 កិន្តុ ប្រភុរាគន្តុំ វិលម្ពត ឥតិ មនសិ ចិន្តយិត្វា យោ ទុឞ្ដោ ទាសោ
But if the man, being a bad servant, should say in his heart, 'My master is a long time in coming,'
49 ៜបរទាសាន៑ ប្រហត៌្តុំ មត្តានាំ សង្គេ ភោក្តុំ បាតុញ្ច ប្រវត៌្តតេ,
and should begin to beat his fellow servants, while he eats and drinks with drunkards;
50 ស ទាសោ យទា នាបេក្ឞតេ, យញ្ច ទណ្ឌំ ន ជានាតិ, តត្កាលឯវ តត្ប្រភុរុបស្ថាស្យតិ។
the master of that servant will arrive on a day when he is not expecting him and at an hour of which he has not been informed;
51 តទា តំ ទណ្ឌយិត្វា យត្រ ស្ថានេ រោទនំ ទន្តឃឞ៌ណញ្ចាសាតេ, តត្រ កបដិភិះ សាកំ តទ្ទឝាំ និរូបយិឞ្យតិ។
he will treat him with the utmost severity and assign him a place among the hypocrites: there will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
