1 អថៃកទា យីឝុ រ្មនិទរេ សុសំវាទំ ប្រចារយន៑ លោកានុបទិឝតិ, ឯតហ៌ិ ប្រធានយាជកា អធ្យាបកាះ ប្រាញ្ចឝ្ច តន្និកដមាគត្យ បប្រច្ឆុះ
And it came to pass, on one of those days, He teaching the people in the temple, and preaching the gospel, the priests, and scribes, along with the elders stood up against Him;
2 កយាជ្ញយា ត្វំ កម៌្មាណ្យេតានិ ករោឞិ? កោ វា ត្វាមាជ្ញាបយត៑? តទស្មាន៑ វទ។
and they spoke to Him, saying, Tell us by what authority you are doing these things? Who is the one having given you this authority?
3 ស ប្រត្យុវាច, តហ៌ិ យុឞ្មានបិ កថាមេកាំ ប្ឫច្ឆាមិ តស្យោត្តរំ វទត។
And responding He said to them, I will ask you one word; and you tell me:
4 យោហនោ មជ្ជនម៑ ឦឝ្វរស្យ មានុឞាណាំ វាជ្ញាតោ ជាតំ?
Was the baptism of John from heaven, or from men?
5 តតស្តេ មិថោ វិវិច្យ ជគទុះ, យទីឝ្វរស្យ វទាមស្តហ៌ិ តំ កុតោ ន ប្រត្យៃត ស ឥតិ វក្ឞ្យតិ។
And they reason among themselves saying, If we may say it is from heaven; He will say, Why did you not believe on him?
6 យទិ មនុឞ្យស្យេតិ វទាមស្តហ៌ិ សវ៌្វេ លោកា អស្មាន៑ បាឞាណៃ រ្ហនិឞ្យន្តិ យតោ យោហន៑ ភវិឞ្យទ្វាទីតិ សវ៌្វេ ទ្ឫឍំ ជានន្តិ។
And if we may say, From men; all the people will stone us: for they are persuaded that John was a prophet.
7 អតឯវ តេ ប្រត្យូចុះ កស្យាជ្ញយា ជាតម៑ ឥតិ វក្តុំ ន ឝក្នុមះ។
And they responded, We do not know whence it is.
8 តទា យីឝុរវទត៑ តហ៌ិ កយាជ្ញយា កម៌្មាណ្យេតាតិ ករោមីតិ ច យុឞ្មាន៑ ន វក្ឞ្យាមិ។
And Jesus said to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
9 អថ លោកានាំ សាក្ឞាត៑ ស ឥមាំ ទ្ឫឞ្ដាន្តកថាំ វក្តុមារេភេ, កឝ្ចិទ៑ ទ្រាក្ឞាក្ឞេត្រំ ក្ឫត្វា តត៑ ក្ឞេត្រំ ក្ឫឞីវលានាំ ហស្តេឞុ សមប៌្យ ពហុកាលាត៌្ហំ ទូរទេឝំ ជគាម។
And He began to speak to the people this parable, A man planted a vineyard and gave it out to husbandmen, and went away a long time.
10 អថ ផលកាលេ ផលានិ គ្រហីតុ ក្ឫឞីវលានាំ សមីបេ ទាសំ ប្រាហិណោត៑ កិន្តុ ក្ឫឞីវលាស្តំ ប្រហ្ឫត្យ រិក្តហស្តំ វិសសជ៌ុះ។
And in season he sent a servant to the husbandmen that they might give to him of the fruit of the vineyard, and the husbandmen beating him, sent him away empty.
11 តតះ សោធិបតិះ បុនរន្យំ ទាសំ ប្រេឞយាមាស, តេ តមបិ ប្រហ្ឫត្យ កុវ្យវហ្ឫត្យ រិក្តហស្តំ វិសស្ឫជុះ។
And he proceeded to send to them another servant, and they beating and dishonoring him sent him away empty.
12 តតះ ស ត្ឫតីយវារម៑ អន្យំ ប្រាហិណោត៑ តេ តមបិ ក្ឞតាង្គំ ក្ឫត្វា ពហិ រ្និចិក្ឞិបុះ។
And he proceeded to send a third: and wounding him, they cast him out also.
13 តទា ក្ឞេត្របតិ រ្វិចារយាមាស, មមេទានីំ កិំ កត៌្តវ្យំ? មម ប្រិយេ បុត្រេ ប្រហិតេ តេ តមវឝ្យំ ទ្ឫឞ្ដ្វា សមាទរិឞ្យន្តេ។
And the lord of the vineyard said, What shall I do? I will send my own beloved son: perchance seeing, they will reverence him.
14 កិន្តុ ក្ឫឞីវលាស្តំ និរីក្ឞ្យ បរស្បរំ វិវិច្យ ប្រោចុះ, អយមុត្តរាធិការី អាគច្ឆតៃនំ ហន្មស្តតោធិការោស្មាកំ ភវិឞ្យតិ។
And the husbandmen, seeing him, reasoned among themselves saying, This is the heir; let us kill him, in order that the inheritance may be ours.
15 តតស្តេ តំ ក្ឞេត្រាទ៑ ពហិ រ្និបាត្យ ជឃ្នុស្តស្មាត៑ ស ក្ឞេត្របតិស្តាន៑ ប្រតិ កិំ ករិឞ្យតិ?
And casting him out from the vineyard they slew him; what then will the lord of the vineyard do?
16 ស អាគត្យ តាន៑ ក្ឫឞីវលាន៑ ហត្វា បរេឞាំ ហស្តេឞុ តត្ក្ឞេត្រំ សមប៌យិឞ្យតិ; ឥតិ កថាំ ឝ្រុត្វា តេ ៜវទន៑ ឯតាទ្ឫឝី ឃដនា ន ភវតុ។
He will come and destroy those husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others. And hearing, they said, Let it not be so.
17 កិន្តុ យីឝុស្តានវលោក្យ ជគាទ, តហ៌ិ, ស្ថបតយះ ករិឞ្យន្តិ គ្រាវាណំ យន្តុ តុច្ឆកំ។ ប្រធានប្រស្តរះ កោណេ ស ឯវ ហិ ភវិឞ្យតិ។ ឯតស្យ ឝាស្ត្រីយវចនស្យ កិំ តាត្បយ៌្យំ?
And looking upon them, He said, What is that which has been written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same has come to be the head of the corner.
18 អបរំ តត្បាឞាណោបរិ យះ បតិឞ្យតិ ស ភំក្ឞ្យតេ កិន្តុ យស្យោបរិ ស បាឞាណះ បតិឞ្យតិ ស តេន ធូលិវច៑ ចូណ៌ីភវិឞ្យតិ។
Every one having fallen on that stone will be dashed to pieces; and on whomsoever it may fall, it will grind him to powder.
19 សោស្មាកំ វិរុទ្ធំ ទ្ឫឞ្ដាន្តមិមំ កថិតវាន៑ ឥតិ ជ្ញាត្វា ប្រធានយាជកា អធ្យាបកាឝ្ច តទៃវ តំ ធត៌ុំ វវាញ្ឆុះ កិន្តុ លោកេភ្យោ ពិភ្យុះ។
And the chief priests and scribes sought to lay hands on Him at this hour, and feared the people; for they knew that He spoke this parable against them.
20 អតឯវ តំ ប្រតិ សតក៌ាះ សន្តះ កថំ តទ្វាក្យទោឞំ ធ្ឫត្វា តំ ទេឝាធិបស្យ សាធុវេឝធារិណឝ្ចរាន៑ តស្យ សមីបេ ប្រេឞយាមាសុះ។
And laying in wait for Him, they sent sharpers, feigning themselves to be righteous, that they might catch his word, in order to turn Him over to the government and authority of the proconsul.
21 តទា តេ តំ បប្រច្ឆុះ, ហេ ឧបទេឝក ភវាន៑ យថាត៌្ហំ កថយន៑ ឧបទិឝតិ, កមប្យនបេក្ឞ្យ សត្យត្វេនៃឝ្វរំ មាគ៌មុបទិឝតិ, វយមេតជ្ជានីមះ។
They asked Him saying, Teacher, we know that thou dost speak and teach correctly; and thou dost not receive the face; but thou dost teach the way of God in truth:
22 កៃសររាជាយ ករោស្មាភិ រ្ទេយោ ន វា?
is it lawful for us give tribute to Caesar, or not?
23 ស តេឞាំ វញ្ចនំ ជ្ញាត្វាវទត៑ កុតោ មាំ បរីក្ឞធ្វេ? មាំ មុទ្រាមេកំ ទឝ៌យត។
And He knowing their rascality, said to them, Why tempt ye me?
24 ឥហ លិខិតា មូត៌ិរិយំ នាម ច កស្យ? តេៜវទន៑ កៃសរស្យ។
Show me the denarion. Whose image and superscription has it? And they responding said, Caesar's.
25 តទា ស ឧវាច, តហ៌ិ កៃសរស្យ ទ្រវ្យំ កៃសរាយ ទត្ត; ឦឝ្វរស្យ តុ ទ្រវ្យមីឝ្វរាយ ទត្ត។
And He said to them, Therefore render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things which are God's.
26 តស្មាល្លោកានាំ សាក្ឞាត៑ តត្កថាយាះ កមបិ ទោឞំ ធត៌ុមប្រាប្យ តេ តស្យោត្តរាទ៑ អាឝ្ចយ៌្យំ មន្យមានា មៅនិនស្តស្ថុះ។
And they were not able to criticise His word before the people: and being astonished at His answer, they were silent.
27 អបរញ្ច ឝ្មឝានាទុត្ថានានង្គីការិណាំ សិទូកិនាំ កិយន្តោ ជនា អាគត្យ តំ បប្រច្ឆុះ,
And certain ones of the Sadducees, who deny that there is a resurrection, coming forward asked Him,
28 ហេ ឧបទេឝក ឝាស្ត្រេ មូសា អស្មាន៑ ប្រតីតិ លិលេខ យស្យ ភ្រាតា ភាយ៌្យាយាំ សត្យាំ និះសន្តានោ ម្រិយតេ ស តជ្ជាយាំ វិវហ្យ តទ្វំឝម៑ ឧត្បាទយិឞ្យតិ។
saying, Teacher, Moses wrote to us, That if the brother of any one may die having a wife, and the same may die childless, that his brother must take his wife and raise up seed to his brother.
29 តថាច កេចិត៑ សប្ត ភ្រាតរ អាសន៑ តេឞាំ ជ្យេឞ្ឋោ ភ្រាតា វិវហ្យ និរបត្យះ ប្រាណាន៑ ជហៅ។
Then there were seven brothers; and the first receiving a wife died childless.
30 អថ ទ្វិតីយស្តស្យ ជាយាំ វិវហ្យ និរបត្យះ សន៑ មមារ។ ត្ឫតីយឝ្ច តាមេវ វ្យុវាហ;
And the second
31 ឥត្ថំ សប្ត ភ្រាតរស្តាមេវ វិវហ្យ និរបត្យាះ សន្តោ មម្រុះ។
and the third received her, and likewise also the seven; they left no children and died.
32 ឝេឞេ សា ស្ត្រី ច មមារ។
Last of all the woman also died.
33 អតឯវ ឝ្មឝានាទុត្ថានកាលេ តេឞាំ សប្តជនានាំ កស្យ សា ភាយ៌្យា ភវិឞ្យតិ? យតះ សា តេឞាំ សប្តានាមេវ ភាយ៌្យាសីត៑។
Therefore in the resurrection of which one of them is she the wife? for the seven had her a wife.
And responding Jesus said to them, The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage, (aiōn g165)
35 កិន្តុ យេ តជ្ជគត្ប្រាប្តិយោគ្យត្វេន គណិតាំ ភវិឞ្យន្តិ ឝ្មឝានាច្ចោត្ថាស្យន្តិ តេ ន វិវហន្តិ វាគ្ទត្តាឝ្ច ន ភវន្តិ, (aiōn g165)
but those counted worthy to attain that age and the resurrection, which is from the dead, (aiōn g165)
36 តេ បុន រ្ន ម្រិយន្តេ កិន្តុ ឝ្មឝានាទុត្ថាបិតាះ សន្ត ឦឝ្វរស្យ សន្តានាះ ស្វគ៌ីយទូតានាំ សទ្ឫឝាឝ្ច ភវន្តិ។
neither marry nor are given in marriage; for they are not able yet to die; for they are like the angels, and sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
37 អធិកន្តុ មូសាះ ស្តម្ពោបាខ្យានេ បរមេឝ្វរ ឦព្រាហីម ឦឝ្វរ ឥស្ហាក ឦឝ្វរោ យាកូពឝ្ចេឝ្វរ ឥត្យុក្ត្វា ម្ឫតានាំ ឝ្មឝានាទ៑ ឧត្ថានស្យ ប្រមាណំ លិលេខ។
But that the dead are raised, Moses also mentioned at the Bush, when he says; The Lord, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
38 អតឯវ យ ឦឝ្វរះ ស ម្ឫតានាំ ប្រភុ រ្ន កិន្តុ ជីវតាមេវ ប្រភុះ, តន្និកដេ សវ៌្វេ ជីវន្តះ សន្តិ។
He is not the God of the dead but of the living; for all live unto Him.
39 ឥតិ ឝ្រុត្វា កិយន្តោធ្យាបកា ឩចុះ, ហេ ឧបទេឝក ភវាន៑ ភទ្រំ ប្រត្យុក្តវាន៑។
And certain of the scribes responding said; Teacher, you spoke beautifully.
40 ឥតះ បរំ តំ កិមបិ ប្រឞ្ដំ តេឞាំ ប្រគល្ភតា នាភូត៑។
And they no longer dared to ask Him anything.
41 បឝ្ចាត៑ ស តាន៑ ឧវាច, យះ ខ្រីឞ្ដះ ស ទាយូទះ សន្តាន ឯតាំ កថាំ លោកាះ កថំ កថយន្តិ?
And He said to them; How do they say that the Christ is the son of David?
42 យតះ មម ប្រភុមិទំ វាក្យមវទត៑ បរមេឝ្វរះ។ តវ ឝត្រូនហំ យាវត៑ បាទបីឋំ ករោមិ ន។ តាវត៑ កាលំ មទីយេ ត្វំ ទក្ឞបាឝ៌្វ ឧបាវិឝ។
And David himself says in the Book of the Psalms, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
43 ឥតិ កថាំ ទាយូទ៑ ស្វយំ គីតគ្រន្ថេៜវទត៑។
until I may make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet.
44 អតឯវ យទិ ទាយូទ៑ តំ ប្រភុំ វទតិ, តហ៌ិ ស កថំ តស្យ សន្តានោ ភវតិ?
Therefore David calls Him Lord, and how is He his son?
45 បឝ្ចាទ៑ យីឝុះ សវ៌្វជនានាំ កណ៌គោចរេ ឝិឞ្យានុវាច,
And all the people hearing, He said to His disciples,
46 យេៜធ្យាបកា ទីគ៌្ហបរិច្ឆទំ បរិធាយ ភ្រមន្តិ, ហដ្ដាបណយោ រ្នមស្ការេ ភជនគេហស្យ ប្រោច្ចាសនេ ភោជនគ្ឫហស្យ ប្រធានស្ថានេ ច ប្រីយន្តេ
Beware of the scribes, wishing to walk about in robes, and loving salutations in the forums, and the first seats in the synagogues, and the first couches at the suppers,
47 វិធវានាំ សវ៌្វស្វំ គ្រសិត្វា ឆលេន ទីគ៌្ហកាលំ ប្រាត៌្ហយន្តេ ច តេឞុ សាវធានា ភវត, តេឞាមុគ្រទណ្ឌោ ភវិឞ្យតិ។
Who devour the houses of the widows, and pray long through pretext; they shall receive the greater judgment.
