យោហនះ 4
1 យីឝុះ ស្វយំ នាមជ្ជយត៑ កេវលំ តស្យ ឝិឞ្យា អមជ្ជយត៑ កិន្តុ យោហនោៜធិកឝិឞ្យាន៑ ស ករោតិ មជ្ជយតិ ច,
Jesus, knowing that the Pharisees were informed that he made and immersed more disciples than John,
2 ផិរូឝិន ឥមាំ វាត៌្តាមឝ្ឫណ្វន៑ ឥតិ ប្រភុរវគត្យ
(though it was not Jesus himself, but his disciples, who immersed, )
3 យិហូទីយទេឝំ វិហាយ បុន រ្គាលីលម៑ អាគត៑។
left Judea, and returned to Galilee.
4 តតះ ឝោមិរោណប្រទេឝស្យ មទ្យេន តេន គន្តវ្យេ សតិ
Being obliged to pass through Samaria,
5 យាកូព៑ និជបុត្រាយ យូឞផេ យាំ ភូមិម៑ អទទាត៑ តត្សមីបស្ថាយិ ឝោមិរោណប្រទេឝស្យ សុខារ៑ នាម្នា វិខ្យាតស្យ នគរស្យ សន្និធាវុបាស្ថាត៑។
he came to a Samaritan city, called Sychar, near the heritage which Jacob gave his son Joseph.
6 តត្រ យាកូពះ ប្រហិរាសីត៑; តទា ទ្វិតីយយាមវេលាយាំ ជាតាយាំ ស មាគ៌េ ឝ្រមាបន្នស្តស្យ ប្រហេះ បាឝ៌្វេ ឧបាវិឝត៑។
Now Jacob's well was there. And Jesus, wearied with the journey, sat down by the well, it being about the sixth hour.
7 ឯតហ៌ិ កាចិត៑ ឝោមិរោណីយា យោឞិត៑ តោយោត្តោលនាត៌្ហម៑ តត្រាគមត្
A woman of Samaria, having come to draw water, Jesus said to her, Give me some drink,
8 តទា ឝិឞ្យាះ ខាទ្យទ្រវ្យាណិ ក្រេតុំ នគរម៑ អគច្ឆន៑។
(for his disciples were gone into the city to buy food; )
9 យីឝុះ ឝោមិរោណីយាំ តាំ យោឞិតម៑ វ្យាហាឞ៌ីត៑ មហ្យំ កិញ្ចិត៑ បានីយំ បាតុំ ទេហិ។ កិន្តុ ឝោមិរោណីយៃះ សាកំ យិហូទីយលោកា ន វ្យវាហរន៑ តស្មាទ្ធេតោះ សាកថយត៑ ឝោមិរោណីយា យោឞិតទហំ ត្វំ យិហូទីយោសិ កថំ មត្តះ បានីយំ បាតុម៑ ឥច្ឆសិ?
the Samaritan woman answered, How is it, that you, who are a Jew, ask drink of me, who am a Samaritan? (For the Jews have no friendly intercourse with the Samaritans.)
10 តតោ យីឝុរវទទ៑ ឦឝ្វរស្យ យទ្ទានំ តត្កីទ្ឫក៑ បានីយំ បាតុំ មហ្យំ ទេហិ យ ឥត្ថំ ត្វាំ យាចតេ ស វា ក ឥតិ ចេទជ្ញាស្យថាស្តហ៌ិ តមយាចិឞ្យថាះ ស ច តុភ្យមម្ឫតំ តោយមទាស្យត៑។
Jesus replied, If you knew the bounty of God, and who it is that says to you, Give me some drink, you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.
11 តទា សា សីមន្តិនី ភាឞិតវតិ, ហេ មហេច្ឆ ប្រហិគ៌ម្ភីរោ ភវតោ នីរោត្តោលនបាត្រំ នាស្តី ច តស្មាត៑ តទម្ឫតំ កីលាលំ កុតះ ប្រាប្ស្យសិ?
She answered, Sir, you have no bucket, and the well is deep: whence, then, have you the living water?
12 យោស្មភ្យម៑ ឥមមន្ធូំ ទទៅ, យស្យ ច បរិជនា គោមេឞាទយឝ្ច សវ៌្វេៜស្យ ប្រហេះ បានីយំ បបុរេតាទ្ឫឝោ យោស្មាកំ បូវ៌្វបុរុឞោ យាកូព៑ តស្មាទបិ ភវាន៑ មហាន៑ កិំ?
Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank of it himself, and his sons, and his cattle?
13 តតោ យីឝុរកថយទ៑ ឥទំ បានីយំ សះ បិវតិ ស បុនស្ត្ឫឞាត៌្តោ ភវិឞ្យតិ,
Jesus replied, Whosoever drinks of this water, will thirst again;
15 តទា សា វនិតាកថយត៑ ហេ មហេច្ឆ តហ៌ិ មម បុនះ បីបាសា យថា ន ជាយតេ តោយោត្តោលនាយ យថាត្រាគមនំ ន ភវតិ ច តទត៌្ហំ មហ្យំ តត្តោយំ ទេហី។
The woman answered, Sir, give me this water, that I may never be thirsty, nor come hither to draw.
16 តតោ យីឝូរវទទ្យាហិ តវ បតិមាហូយ ស្ថានេៜត្រាគច្ឆ។
Jesus said to her, Go, call your husband, and come back.
17 សា វាមាវទត៑ មម បតិន៌ាស្តិ។ យីឝុរវទត៑ មម បតិន៌ាស្តីតិ វាក្យំ ភទ្រមវោចះ។
She answered, I have no husband. Jesus replied, You say well, I have no husband;
18 យតស្តវ បញ្ច បតយោភវន៑ អធុនា តុ ត្វយា សាទ៌្ធំ យស្តិឞ្ឋតិ ស តវ ភត៌្តា ន វាក្យមិទំ សត្យមវាទិះ។
for you have have had five husbands; and he whom you now have, is not your husband. In this, you have spoken truth.
19 តទា សា មហិលា គទិតវតិ ហេ មហេច្ឆ ភវាន៑ ឯកោ ភវិឞ្យទ្វាទីតិ ពុទ្ធំ មយា។
The woman said, Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.
20 អស្មាកំ បិត្ឫលោកា ឯតស្មិន៑ ឝិលោច្ចយេៜភជន្ត, កិន្តុ ភវទ្ភិរុច្យតេ យិរូឝាលម៑ នគរេ ភជនយោគ្យំ ស្ថានមាស្តេ។
Our fathers worshiped on this mountain; and you say, that in Jerusalem is the place, where me ought to worship.
21 យីឝុរវោចត៑ ហេ យោឞិត៑ មម វាក្យេ វិឝ្វសិហិ យទា យូយំ កេវលឝៃលេៜស្មិន៑ វា យិរូឝាលម៑ នគរេ បិតុព៌្ហជនំ ន ករិឞ្យធ្វេ កាល ឯតាទ្ឫឝ អាយាតិ។
Jesus answered, Woman, believe me, the time approaches when you shall neither come to this mountain, nor go to Jerusalem, to worship the Father.
22 យូយំ យំ ភជធ្វេ តំ ន ជានីថ, កិន្តុ វយំ យំ ភជាមហេ តំ ជានីមហេ, យតោ យិហូទីយលោកានាំ មធ្យាត៑ បរិត្រាណំ ជាយតេ។
You worship what you know not, we worship what we know: for salvation is from the Jews.
23 កិន្តុ យទា សត្យភក្តា អាត្មនា សត្យរូបេណ ច បិតុព៌្ហជនំ ករិឞ្យន្តេ សមយ ឯតាទ្ឫឝ អាយាតិ, វរម៑ ឥទានីមបិ វិទ្យតេ; យត ឯតាទ្ឫឝោ ភត្កាន៑ បិតា ចេឞ្ដតេ។
But the time comes, or, rather, is come, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such are the worshipers whom the Father requires.
24 ឦឝ្វរ អាត្មា; តតស្តស្យ យេ ភក្តាស្តៃះ ស អាត្មនា សត្យរូបេណ ច ភជនីយះ។
God is Spirit, and they that worship him, must worship him in spirit and truth.
25 តទា សា មហិលាវាទីត៑ ខ្រីឞ្ដនាម្នា វិខ្យាតោៜភិឞិក្តះ បុរុឞ អាគមិឞ្យតីតិ ជានាមិ ស ច សវ៌្វាះ កថា អស្មាន៑ ជ្ញាបយិឞ្យតិ។
The woman replied, I know that the Messiah comes, (that is, Christ; ) when he is come, he will teach us all things.
26 តតោ យីឝុរវទត៑ ត្វយា សាទ៌្ធំ កថនំ ករោមិ យោៜហម៑ អហមេវ ស បុរុឞះ។
Jesus said to her, I who speak to you, am he.
27 ឯតស្មិន៑ សមយេ ឝិឞ្យា អាគត្យ តថា ស្ត្រិយា សាទ៌្ធំ តស្យ កថោបកថនេ មហាឝ្ចយ៌្យម៑ អមន្យន្ត តថាបិ ភវាន៑ កិមិច្ឆតិ? យទ្វា កិមត៌្ហម៑ ឯតយា សាទ៌្ធំ កថាំ កថយតិ? ឥតិ កោបិ នាប្ឫច្ឆត៑។
Upon this, his disciples came, and wondered that he talked with a woman; yet none of them said, What do you seek? or, Why do you talk with her?
28 តតះ បរំ សា នារី កលឝំ ស្ថាបយិត្វា នគរមធ្យំ គត្វា លោកេភ្យោកថាយទ្
Then the woman left her pitcher, and having gone into the city, said to the people,
29 អហំ យទ្យត៑ កម៌្មាករវំ តត្សវ៌្វំ មហ្យមកថយទ៑ ឯតាទ្ឫឝំ មានវមេកម៑ អាគត្យ បឝ្យត រុ កិម៑ អភិឞិក្តោ ន ភវតិ?
Come, see a man who has told me all that I ever did. Is this not the Messiah?
30 តតស្តេ នគរាទ៑ ពហិរាគត្យ តាតស្យ សមីបម៑ អាយន៑។
They, accordingly, went out of the city, and came to him.
31 ឯតហ៌ិ ឝិឞ្យាះ សាធយិត្វា តំ វ្យាហាឞ៌ុះ ហេ គុរោ ភវាន៑ កិញ្ចិទ៑ ភូក្តាំ។
Meanwhile, the disciples entreating him, said, Rabbi, eat.
32 តតះ សោវទទ៑ យុឞ្មាភិយ៌ន្ន ជ្ញាយតេ តាទ្ឫឝំ ភក្ឞ្យំ មមាស្តេ។
He answered, I have food to eat which you know not.
33 តទា ឝិឞ្យាះ បរស្បរំ ប្រឞ្ដុម៑ អារម្ភន្ត, កិមស្មៃ កោបិ កិមបិ ភក្ឞ្យមានីយ ទត្តវាន៑?
Then said his disciples, one to another, Has any man brought him food?
34 យីឝុរវោចត៑ មត្ប្រេរកស្យាភិមតានុរូបករណំ តស្យៃវ កម៌្មសិទ្ធិការណញ្ច មម ភក្ឞ្យំ។
Jesus answered, My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to finish his work.
35 មាសចតុឞ្ដយេ ជាតេ ឝស្យកត៌្តនសមយោ ភវិឞ្យតីតិ វាក្យំ យុឞ្មាភិះ កិំ នោទ្យតេ? កិន្ត្វហំ វទាមិ, ឝិរ ឧត្តោល្យ ក្ឞេត្រាណិ ប្រតិ និរីក្ឞ្យ បឝ្យត, ឥទានីំ កត៌្តនយោគ្យានិ ឝុក្លវណ៌ាន្យភវន៑។
Do you not say, After four months comes harvest? But I say, Lift up your eyes, and survey the fields; for they are already white enough for harvest.
36 យឝ្ឆិនត្តិ ស វេតនំ លភតេ អនន្តាយុះស្វរូបំ ឝស្យំ ស គ្ឫហ្លាតិ ច, តេនៃវ វប្តា ឆេត្តា ច យុគបទ៑ អានន្ទតះ។ (aiōnios g166)
The reaper receives wages, and gathers the fruits of eternal life, that both the sower and the reaper may rejoice together. (aiōnios g166)
37 ឥត្ថំ សតិ វបត្យេកឝ្ឆិនត្យន្យ ឥតិ វចនំ សិទ្ធ្យតិ។
For in this, the proverb is verified, One sows, and another reaps.
38 យត្រ យូយំ ន បយ៌្យឝ្រាម្យត តាទ្ឫឝំ ឝស្យំ ឆេត្តុំ យុឞ្មាន៑ ប្រៃរយម៑ អន្យេ ជនាះបយ៌្យឝ្រាម្យន៑ យូយំ តេឞាំ ឝ្រគស្យ ផលម៑ អលភធ្វម៑។
I sent you to reap that on which you have bestowed no labor: others labored, and you get possession of their labors.
39 យស្មិន៑ កាលេ យទ្យត៑ កម៌្មាកាឞ៌ំ តត្សវ៌្វំ ស មហ្យម៑ អកថយត៑ តស្យា វនិតាយា ឥទំ សាក្ឞ្យវាក្យំ ឝ្រុត្វា តន្នគរនិវាសិនោ ពហវះ ឝោមិរោណីយលោកា វ្យឝ្វសន៑។
Now, many Samaritans of that city believed him, on the testimony of the woman, who said, He told me all that ever I did.
40 តថា ច តស្យាន្តិកេ សមុបស្ថាយ ស្វេឞាំ សន្និធៅ កតិចិទ៑ ទិនានិ ស្ថាតុំ តស្មិន៑ វិនយម៑ អកុវ៌្វាន តស្មាត៑ ស ទិនទ្វយំ តត្ស្ថានេ ន្យវឞ្ដត្
When, therefore, they came to him, they besought him to stay with them; and he staid there two days.
41 តតស្តស្យោបទេឝេន ពហវោៜបរេ វិឝ្វស្យ
And many more believed, because of what they heard from himself;
42 តាំ យោឞាមវទន៑ កេវលំ តវ វាក្យេន ប្រតីម ឥតិ ន, កិន្តុ ស ជគតោៜភិឞិក្តស្ត្រាតេតិ តស្យ កថាំ ឝ្រុត្វា វយំ ស្វយមេវាជ្ញាសមហិ។
and they said to the woman, It is not, now, on account of what you have reported, that we believe; for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is truly the Saviour of the world, the Messiah.
43 ស្វទេឝេ ភវិឞ្យទ្វក្តុះ សត្ការោ នាស្តីតិ យទ្យបិ យីឝុះ ប្រមាណំ ទត្វាកថយត្
After the two days, Jesus departed, and went to Galilee,
44 តថាបិ ទិវសទ្វយាត៑ បរំ ស តស្មាត៑ ស្ថានាទ៑ គាលីលំ គតវាន៑។
for he had himself declared that a prophet is not regarded in his own country.
45 អនន្តរំ យេ គាលីលី លិយលោកា ឧត្សវេ គតា ឧត្សវសមយេ យិរូឝលម៑ នគរេ តស្យ សវ៌្វាះ ក្រិយា អបឝ្យន៑ តេ គាលីលម៑ អាគតំ តម៑ អាគ្ឫហ្លន៑។
Being come into Galilee, he was well received by the Galileans, who had seen all that he did at Jerusalem, during the festival; for they likewise attended the festival.
46 តតះ បរម៑ យីឝុ រ្យស្មិន៑ កាន្នានគរេ ជលំ ទ្រាក្ឞារសម៑ អាករោត៑ តត៑ ស្ថានំ បុនរគាត៑។ តស្មិន្នេវ សមយេ កស្យចិទ៑ រាជសភាស្តារស្យ បុត្រះ កផន៌ាហូមបុរី រោគគ្រស្ត អាសីត៑។
Then Jesus returned to Cana, of Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And there was a certain officer of the court, whose son lay sick at Capernaum,
47 ស យេហូទីយទេឝាទ៑ យីឝោ រ្គាលីលាគមនវាត៌្តាំ និឝម្យ តស្យ សមីបំ គត្វា ប្រាត៌្ហ្យ វ្យាហ្ឫតវាន៑ មម បុត្រស្យ ប្រាយេណ កាល អាសន្នះ ភវាន៑ អាគត្យ តំ ស្វស្ថំ ករោតុ។
who having heard that Jesus was come from Judea into Galilee, went to him, and entreated him to come and cure his son, who was dying.
48 តទា យីឝុរកថយទ៑ អាឝ្ចយ៌្យំ កម៌្ម ចិត្រំ ចិហ្នំ ច ន ទ្ឫឞ្ដា យូយំ ន ប្រត្យេឞ្យថ។
Jesus said to him, Unless you see signs and prodigies, you will not believe.
49 តតះ ស សភាសទវទត៑ ហេ មហេច្ឆ មម បុត្រេ ន ម្ឫតេ ភវានាគច្ឆតុ។
The officer answered, Come, Sir, before my child die.
50 យីឝុស្តមវទទ៑ គច្ឆ តវ បុត្រោៜជីវីត៑ តទា យីឝុនោក្តវាក្យេ ស វិឝ្វស្យ គតវាន៑។
Jesus replied, Go your way. Your son is well. And the man believed the word which Jesus had spoken, and went his way.
51 គមនកាលេ មាគ៌មធ្យេ ទាសាស្តំ សាក្ឞាត្ប្រាប្យាវទន៑ ភវតះ បុត្រោៜជីវីត៑។
As he was returning, his servants met him, and informed him that his son was well.
52 តតះ កំ កាលមារភ្យ រោគប្រតីការារម្ភោ ជាតា ឥតិ ប្ឫឞ្ដេ តៃរុក្តំ ហ្យះ សាទ៌្ធទណ្ឌទ្វយាធិកទ្វិតីយយាមេ តស្យ ជ្វរត្យាគោៜភវត៑។
He then inquired of them the hour when he began to get better. They answered, Yesterday, at the seventh hour, the fever left him.
53 តទា យីឝុស្តស្មិន៑ ក្ឞណេ ប្រោក្តវាន៑ តវ បុត្រោៜជីវីត៑ បិតា តទ្ពុទ្ធ្វា សបរិវារោ វ្យឝ្វសីត៑។
Then the father knew, that it was the same hour in which Jesus said to him, Your son is well; and he, and all his family, believed.
54 យិហូទីយទេឝាទ៑ អាគត្យ គាលីលិ យីឝុរេតទ៑ ទ្វិតីយម៑ អាឝ្ចយ៌្យកម៌្មាករោត៑។
This second miracle Jesus performed, after returning from Judea to Galilee.
