ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿತಂ 1
1 ಯತ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿತಂ ವಾಕ್ಯಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರಃ ಸ್ವದಾಸಾನಾಂ ನಿಕಟಂ ಶೀಘ್ರಮುಪಸ್ಥಾಸ್ಯನ್ತೀನಾಂ ಘಟನಾನಾಂ ದರ್ಶನಾರ್ಥಂ ಯೀಶುಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟೇ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾನ್ ತತ್ ಸ ಸ್ವೀಯದೂತಂ ಪ್ರೇಷ್ಯ ನಿಜಸೇವಕಂ ಯೋಹನಂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಿತವಾನ್|
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him to make known to his servants, concerning what must shortly take place, and which he sent and revealed by his angel to his servant John,
2 ಸ ಚೇಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ವಾಕ್ಯೇ ಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟಸ್ಯ ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯೇ ಚ ಯದ್ಯದ್ ದೃಷ್ಟವಾನ್ ತಸ್ಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಂ ದತ್ತವಾನ್|
who testified to the message of God and to the testimony to Jesus Christ, omitting nothing of what he had seen.
3 ಏತಸ್ಯ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಕ್ತೃಗ್ರನ್ಥಸ್ಯ ವಾಕ್ಯಾನಾಂ ಪಾಠಕಃ ಶ್ರೋತಾರಶ್ಚ ತನ್ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಲಿಖಿತಾಜ್ಞಾಗ್ರಾಹಿಣಶ್ಚ ಧನ್ಯಾ ಯತಃ ಸ ಕಾಲಃ ಸನ್ನಿಕಟಃ|
Blessed is the one who reads, and blessed are they who listen to, the words of this prophecy, and lay to heart what is here written; for the time is near.
4 ಯೋಹನ್ ಆಶಿಯಾದೇಶಸ್ಥಾಃ ಸಪ್ತ ಸಮಿತೀಃ ಪ್ರತಿ ಪತ್ರಂ ಲಿಖತಿ| ಯೋ ವರ್ತ್ತಮಾನೋ ಭೂತೋ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಂಶ್ಚ ಯೇ ಚ ಸಪ್ತಾತ್ಮಾನಸ್ತಸ್ಯ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಸ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮುಖೇ ತಿಷ್ಠನ್ತಿ
From John, to the seven churches which are in Roman Asia. Blessing and peace be yours from him who is, and who was, and who will be, and from the seven spirits that are before his throne,
5 ಯಶ್ಚ ಯೀಶುಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟೋ ವಿಶ್ವಸ್ತಃ ಸಾಕ್ಷೀ ಮೃತಾನಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಪ್ರಥಮಜಾತೋ ಭೂಮಣ್ಡಲಸ್ಥರಾಜಾನಾಮ್ ಅಧಿಪತಿಶ್ಚ ಭವತಿ, ಏತೇಭ್ಯೋ ಽನುಗ್ರಹಃ ಶಾನ್ತಿಶ್ಚ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಸು ವರ್ತ್ತತಾಂ|
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the Ruler of all the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and freed us from our sins by his own blood –
6 ಯೋ ಽಸ್ಮಾಸು ಪ್ರೀತವಾನ್ ಸ್ವರುಧಿರೇಣಾಸ್ಮಾನ್ ಸ್ವಪಾಪೇಭ್ಯಃ ಪ್ರಕ್ಷಾಲಿತವಾನ್ ತಸ್ಯ ಪಿತುರೀಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ಯಾಜಕಾನ್ ಕೃತ್ವಾಸ್ಮಾನ್ ರಾಜವರ್ಗೇ ನಿಯುಕ್ತವಾಂಶ್ಚ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಮಹಿಮಾ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶ್ಚಾನನ್ತಕಾಲಂ ಯಾವದ್ ವರ್ತ್ತತಾಂ| ಆಮೇನ್| (aiōn g165)
and he made us a kingdom of priests in the service of God, his Father! – to him be ascribed glory and dominion for ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
7 ಪಶ್ಯತ ಸ ಮೇಘೈರಾಗಚ್ಛತಿ ತೇನೈಕೈಕಸ್ಯ ಚಕ್ಷುಸ್ತಂ ದ್ರಕ್ಷ್ಯತಿ ಯೇ ಚ ತಂ ವಿದ್ಧವನ್ತಸ್ತೇ ಽಪಿ ತಂ ವಿಲೋಕಿಷ್ಯನ್ತೇ ತಸ್ಯ ಕೃತೇ ಪೃಥಿವೀಸ್ಥಾಃ ಸರ್ವ್ವೇ ವಂಶಾ ವಿಲಪಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ| ಸತ್ಯಮ್ ಆಮೇನ್|
He is coming among the clouds! Every eye will see him, even those who pierced him and all the nations of the earth will mourn over him. So will it be. Amen.
8 ವರ್ತ್ತಮಾನೋ ಭೂತೋ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಂಶ್ಚ ಯಃ ಸರ್ವ್ವಶಕ್ತಿಮಾನ್ ಪ್ರಭುಃ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಃ ಸ ಗದತಿ, ಅಹಮೇವ ಕಃ ಕ್ಷಶ್ಚಾರ್ಥತ ಆದಿರನ್ತಶ್ಚ|
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord, the God who is, and who was, and who will be, the Almighty.
9 ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಭ್ರಾತಾ ಯೀಶುಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟಸ್ಯ ಕ್ಲೇಶರಾಜ್ಯತಿತಿಕ್ಷಾಣಾಂ ಸಹಭಾಗೀ ಚಾಹಂ ಯೋಹನ್ ಈಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ವಾಕ್ಯಹೇತೋ ರ್ಯೀಶುಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟಸ್ಯ ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯಹೇತೋಶ್ಚ ಪಾತ್ಮನಾಮಕ ಉಪದ್ವೀಪ ಆಸಂ|
I, John, who am your brother, and who share with you in the suffering and kingship and endurance of Jesus, found myself on the island called Patmos, for the sake of the message of God and the testimony to Jesus.
10 ತತ್ರ ಪ್ರಭೋ ರ್ದಿನೇ ಆತ್ಮನಾವಿಷ್ಟೋ ಽಹಂ ಸ್ವಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ ತೂರೀಧ್ವನಿವತ್ ಮಹಾರವಮ್ ಅಶ್ರೌಷಂ,
I fell into a trance on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like the blast of a trumpet.
11 ತೇನೋಕ್ತಮ್, ಅಹಂ ಕಃ ಕ್ಷಶ್ಚಾರ್ಥತ ಆದಿರನ್ತಶ್ಚ| ತ್ವಂ ಯದ್ ದ್ರಕ್ಷ್ಯಸಿ ತದ್ ಗ್ರನ್ಥೇ ಲಿಖಿತ್ವಾಶಿಯಾದೇಶಸ್ಥಾನಾಂ ಸಪ್ತ ಸಮಿತೀನಾಂ ಸಮೀಪಮ್ ಇಫಿಷಂ ಸ್ಮುರ್ಣಾಂ ಥುಯಾತೀರಾಂ ಸಾರ್ದ್ದಿಂ ಫಿಲಾದಿಲ್ಫಿಯಾಂ ಲಾಯದೀಕೇಯಾಞ್ಚ ಪ್ರೇಷಯ|
It said – “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamus, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.”
12 ತತೋ ಮಯಾ ಸಮ್ಭಾಷಮಾಣಸ್ಯ ಕಸ್ಯ ರವಃ ಶ್ರೂಯತೇ ತದ್ದರ್ಶನಾರ್ಥಂ ಮುಖಂ ಪರಾವರ್ತ್ತಿತಂ ತತ್ ಪರಾವರ್ತ್ಯ ಸ್ವರ್ಣಮಯಾಃ ಸಪ್ತ ದೀಪವೃಕ್ಷಾ ದೃಷ್ಟಾಃ|
I turned to see what voice it was that spoke to me; and when I turned, I saw seven golden lamps,
13 ತೇಷಾಂ ಸಪ್ತ ದೀಪವೃಕ್ಷಾಣಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ದೀರ್ಘಪರಿಚ್ಛದಪರಿಹಿತಃ ಸುವರ್ಣಶೃಙ್ಖಲೇನ ವೇಷ್ಟಿತವಕ್ಷಶ್ಚ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರಾಕೃತಿರೇಕೋ ಜನಸ್ತಿಷ್ಠತಿ,
and in the midst of the lamps one like a man, in a robe reaching to his feet, and with a golden sash across his breast.
14 ತಸ್ಯ ಶಿರಃ ಕೇಶಶ್ಚ ಶ್ವೇತಮೇಷಲೋಮಾನೀವ ಹಿಮವತ್ ಶ್ರೇತೌ ಲೋಚನೇ ವಹ್ನಿಶಿಖಾಸಮೇ
The hair of his head was as white as wool, as white as snow; his eyes were like flaming fire;
15 ಚರಣೌ ವಹ್ನಿಕುಣ್ಡೇತಾಪಿತಸುಪಿತ್ತಲಸದೃಶೌ ರವಶ್ಚ ಬಹುತೋಯಾನಾಂ ರವತುಲ್ಯಃ|
and his feet were like brass as when molten in a furnace; his voice was like the sound of many streams,
16 ತಸ್ಯ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಹಸ್ತೇ ಸಪ್ತ ತಾರಾ ವಿದ್ಯನ್ತೇ ವಕ್ತ್ರಾಚ್ಚ ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣೋ ದ್ವಿಧಾರಃ ಖಙ್ಗೋ ನಿರ್ಗಚ್ಛತಿ ಮುಖಮಣ್ಡಲಞ್ಚ ಸ್ವತೇಜಸಾ ದೇದೀಪ್ಯಮಾನಸ್ಯ ಸೂರ್ಯ್ಯಸ್ಯ ಸದೃಶಂ|
in his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun in the fulness of its power.
17 ತಂ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾಹಂ ಮೃತಕಲ್ಪಸ್ತಚ್ಚರಣೇ ಪತಿತಸ್ತತಃ ಸ್ವದಕ್ಷಿಣಕರಂ ಮಯಿ ನಿಧಾಯ ತೇನೋಕ್ತಮ್ ಮಾ ಭೈಷೀಃ; ಅಹಮ್ ಆದಿರನ್ತಶ್ಚ|
And, when I saw him, I fell at his feet like one dead. He laid his hand on me and said – “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last,
19 ಅತೋ ಯದ್ ಭವತಿ ಯಚ್ಚೇತಃ ಪರಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ ತ್ವಯಾ ದೃಷ್ಟಂ ತತ್ ಸರ್ವ್ವಂ ಲಿಖ್ಯತಾಂ|
Therefore write of what you have seen and of what is happening now and of what is about to take place –
20 ಮಮ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಹಸ್ತೇ ಸ್ಥಿತಾ ಯಾಃ ಸಪ್ತ ತಾರಾ ಯೇ ಚ ಸ್ವರ್ಣಮಯಾಃ ಸಪ್ತ ದೀಪವೃಕ್ಷಾಸ್ತ್ವಯಾ ದೃಷ್ಟಾಸ್ತತ್ತಾತ್ಪರ್ಯ್ಯಮಿದಂ ತಾಃ ಸಪ್ತ ತಾರಾಃ ಸಪ್ತ ಸಮಿತೀನಾಂ ದೂತಾಃ ಸುವರ್ಣಮಯಾಃ ಸಪ್ತ ದೀಪವೃಕ್ಷಾಶ್ಚ ಸಪ್ತ ಸಮಿತಯಃ ಸನ್ತಿ|
the mystic meaning of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lamps. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lamps are the seven churches.
