ಯೋಹನಃ 6
1 ತತಃ ಪರಂ ಯೀಶು ರ್ಗಾಲೀಲ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶೀಯಸ್ಯ ತಿವಿರಿಯಾನಾಮ್ನಃ ಸಿನ್ಧೋಃ ಪಾರಂ ಗತವಾನ್|
After these things Jesus went beyond the Sea of Galilee, of Tiberias.
2 ತತೋ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಮಲ್ಲೋಕಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯಕರಣರೂಪಾಣಿ ತಸ್ಯಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯ್ಯಾಣಿ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮಾಣಿ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ಬಹವೋ ಜನಾಸ್ತತ್ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ ಅಗಚ್ಛನ್|
And a great multitude followed Him, because they saw the miracles He was doing in behalf of the sick.
3 ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಃ ಪರ್ವ್ವತಮಾರುಹ್ಯ ತತ್ರ ಶಿಷ್ಯೈಃ ಸಾಕಮ್|
And Jesus came into the mountain; and was sitting there with His disciples.
4 ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸಮಯ ನಿಸ್ತಾರೋತ್ಸವನಾಮ್ನಿ ಯಿಹೂದೀಯಾನಾಮ ಉತ್ಸವ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತೇ
And the passover, the feast of the Jews, was nigh.
5 ಯೀಶು ರ್ನೇತ್ರೇ ಉತ್ತೋಲ್ಯ ಬಹುಲೋಕಾನ್ ಸ್ವಸಮೀಪಾಗತಾನ್ ವಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ಫಿಲಿಪಂ ಪೃಷ್ಟವಾನ್ ಏತೇಷಾಂ ಭೋಜನಾಯ ಭೋಜದ್ರವ್ಯಾಣಿ ವಯಂ ಕುತ್ರ ಕ್ರೇತುಂ ಶಕ್ರುಮಃ?
Therefore Jesus lifting up His eyes, and seeing that a great multitude is coming to Him, He says to Philip, Whence can we purchase bread, that these may eat?
6 ವಾಕ್ಯಮಿದಂ ತಸ್ಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾರ್ಥಮ್ ಅವಾದೀತ್ ಕಿನ್ತು ಯತ್ ಕರಿಷ್ಯತಿ ತತ್ ಸ್ವಯಮ್ ಅಜಾನಾತ್|
He spoke this testing him; for He knew what He was about to do.
7 ಫಿಲಿಪಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವೋಚತ್ ಏತೇಷಾಮ್ ಏಕೈಕೋ ಯದ್ಯಲ್ಪಮ್ ಅಲ್ಪಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ನೋತಿ ತರ್ಹಿ ಮುದ್ರಾಪಾದದ್ವಿಶತೇನ ಕ್ರೀತಪೂಪಾ ಅಪಿ ನ್ಯೂನಾ ಭವಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ|
Philip responded to Him, The loaves of two hundred denaria are not sufficient for these, that each one may receive a little.
8 ಶಿಮೋನ್ ಪಿತರಸ್ಯ ಭ್ರಾತಾ ಆನ್ದ್ರಿಯಾಖ್ಯಃ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾಣಾಮೇಕೋ ವ್ಯಾಹೃತವಾನ್
And one of His disciples, Andrew, the brother of Peter, says to Him,
9 ಅತ್ರ ಕಸ್ಯಚಿದ್ ಬಾಲಕಸ್ಯ ಸಮೀಪೇ ಪಞ್ಚ ಯಾವಪೂಪಾಃ ಕ್ಷುದ್ರಮತ್ಸ್ಯದ್ವಯಞ್ಚ ಸನ್ತಿ ಕಿನ್ತು ಲೋಕಾನಾಂ ಏತಾವಾತಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ತೈಃ ಕಿಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ?
There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two fishes: but what are these among so many?
10 ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ ಯೀಶುರವದತ್ ಲೋಕಾನುಪವೇಶಯತ ತತ್ರ ಬಹುಯವಸಸತ್ತ್ವಾತ್ ಪಞ್ಚಸಹಸ್ತ್ರೇಭ್ಯೋ ನ್ಯೂನಾ ಅಧಿಕಾ ವಾ ಪುರುಷಾ ಭೂಮ್ಯಾಮ್ ಉಪಾವಿಶನ್|
And Jesus said, Make the people sit down. And there was much grass in the place. However the men sat down in number about five thousand.
11 ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಾನ್ ಪೂಪಾನಾದಾಯ ಈಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ಗುಣಾನ್ ಕೀರ್ತ್ತಯಿತ್ವಾ ಶಿಷ್ಯೇಷು ಸಮಾರ್ಪಯತ್ ತತಸ್ತೇ ತೇಭ್ಯ ಉಪವಿಷ್ಟಲೋಕೇಭ್ಯಃ ಪೂಪಾನ್ ಯಥೇಷ್ಟಮತ್ಸ್ಯಞ್ಚ ಪ್ರಾದುಃ|
And Jesus took the bread; and gave thanks, and gave it to the disciples, and the disciples to the people sitting down; and likewise also of the fishes so much as they wished.
12 ತೇಷು ತೃಪ್ತೇಷು ಸ ತಾನವೋಚದ್ ಏತೇಷಾಂ ಕಿಞ್ಚಿದಪಿ ಯಥಾ ನಾಪಚೀಯತೇ ತಥಾ ಸರ್ವ್ವಾಣ್ಯವಶಿಷ್ಟಾನಿ ಸಂಗೃಹ್ಲೀತ|
And when they were filled, He says to His disciples, Gather up the remaining fragments, that nothing may be lost.
13 ತತಃ ಸರ್ವ್ವೇಷಾಂ ಭೋಜನಾತ್ ಪರಂ ತೇ ತೇಷಾಂ ಪಞ್ಚಾನಾಂ ಯಾವಪೂಪಾನಾಂ ಅವಶಿಷ್ಟಾನ್ಯಖಿಲಾನಿ ಸಂಗೃಹ್ಯ ದ್ವಾದಶಡಲ್ಲಕಾನ್ ಅಪೂರಯನ್|
Then they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets from the live barley loaves, which remained to those having eaten.
14 ಅಪರಂ ಯೀಶೋರೇತಾದೃಶೀಮ್ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯಾಂ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ಲೋಕಾ ಮಿಥೋ ವಕ್ತುಮಾರೇಭಿರೇ ಜಗತಿ ಯಸ್ಯಾಗಮನಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ ಸ ಏವಾಯಮ್ ಅವಶ್ಯಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಕ್ತ್ತಾ|
Then the people, seeing the miracle which Jesus did, were saying, that, This is truly the prophet who is coming into the world.
15 ಅತಏವ ಲೋಕಾ ಆಗತ್ಯ ತಮಾಕ್ರಮ್ಯ ರಾಜಾನಂ ಕರಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತೇಷಾಮ್ ಈದೃಶಂ ಮಾನಸಂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ಪುನಶ್ಚ ಪರ್ವ್ವತಮ್ ಏಕಾಕೀ ಗತವಾನ್|
And Jesus knowing that they are about to come and take Him, that they may make Him king, departs again into the mountain Himself alone.
16 ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತೇ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ಜಲಧಿತಟಂ ವ್ರಜಿತ್ವಾ ನಾವಮಾರುಹ್ಯ ನಗರದಿಶಿ ಸಿನ್ಧೌ ವಾಹಯಿತ್ವಾಗಮನ್|
And when it was evening, His disciples went down to the sea;
17 ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸಮಯೇ ತಿಮಿರ ಉಪಾತಿಷ್ಠತ್ ಕಿನ್ತು ಯೀಷುಸ್ತೇಷಾಂ ಸಮೀಪಂ ನಾಗಚ್ಛತ್|
and embarking in the ship, they were going to the other side of the sea into Capernaum. And it was already dark, and Jesus had not come to them;
18 ತದಾ ಪ್ರಬಲಪವನವಹನಾತ್ ಸಾಗರೇ ಮಹಾತರಙ್ಗೋ ಭವಿತುಮ್ ಆರೇಭೇ|
and the sea wrought, a great wind blowing.
19 ತತಸ್ತೇ ವಾಹಯಿತ್ವಾ ದ್ವಿತ್ರಾನ್ ಕ್ರೋಶಾನ್ ಗತಾಃ ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ ಯೀಶುಂ ಜಲಧೇರುಪರಿ ಪದ್ಭ್ಯಾಂ ವ್ರಜನ್ತಂ ನೌಕಾನ್ತಿಕಮ್ ಆಗಚ್ಛನ್ತಂ ವಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ತ್ರಾಸಯುಕ್ತಾ ಅಭವನ್
Then having gone about twenty-five or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and being near the ship; and were terrified.
20 ಕಿನ್ತು ಸ ತಾನುಕ್ತ್ತವಾನ್ ಅಯಮಹಂ ಮಾ ಭೈಷ್ಟ|
And He says to them, I am here; fear not.
21 ತದಾ ತೇ ತಂ ಸ್ವೈರಂ ನಾವಿ ಗೃಹೀತವನ್ತಃ ತದಾ ತತ್ಕ್ಷಣಾದ್ ಉದ್ದಿಷ್ಟಸ್ಥಾನೇ ನೌರುಪಾಸ್ಥಾತ್|
Then they wished to receive Him into the ship, and immediately the ship was at the land to which they were going.
22 ಯಯಾ ನಾವಾ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ಅಗಚ್ಛನ್ ತದನ್ಯಾ ಕಾಪಿ ನೌಕಾ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸ್ಥಾನೇ ನಾಸೀತ್ ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಃ ಶಿಷ್ಯೈಃ ಸಾಕಂ ನಾಗಮತ್ ಕೇವಲಾಃ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ಅಗಮನ್ ಏತತ್ ಪಾರಸ್ಥಾ ಲೋಕಾ ಜ್ಞಾತವನ್ತಃ|
On the following day the multitude standing beyond the sea saw that there was no other ship there, except one, and that Jesus did not go along with His disciples into the ship, but His disciples went away alone
23 ಕಿನ್ತು ತತಃ ಪರಂ ಪ್ರಭು ರ್ಯತ್ರ ಈಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ಗುಣಾನ್ ಅನುಕೀರ್ತ್ತ್ಯ ಲೋಕಾನ್ ಪೂಪಾನ್ ಅಭೋಜಯತ್ ತತ್ಸ್ಥಾನಸ್ಯ ಸಮೀಪಸ್ಥತಿವಿರಿಯಾಯಾ ಅಪರಾಸ್ತರಣಯ ಆಗಮನ್|
(other ships came from Tiberias near the place where they ate the bread, the Lord having given thanks).
24 ಯೀಶುಸ್ತತ್ರ ನಾಸ್ತಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ಅಪಿ ತತ್ರ ನಾ ಸನ್ತಿ ಲೋಕಾ ಇತಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ಯೀಶುಂ ಗವೇಷಯಿತುಂ ತರಣಿಭಿಃ ಕಫರ್ನಾಹೂಮ್ ಪುರಂ ಗತಾಃ|
And when the multitude saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they went into ships, and came into Capernaum, seeking Jesus.
25 ತತಸ್ತೇ ಸರಿತ್ಪತೇಃ ಪಾರೇ ತಂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾವೋಚನ್ ಹೇ ಗುರೋ ಭವಾನ್ ಅತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾನೇ ಕದಾಗಮತ್?
And having found Him beyond the sea, they said to Him, Master, when did you come hither?
26 ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಾನ್ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವಾದೀದ್ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನಹಂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತರಂ ವದಾಮಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ್ಯಕರ್ಮ್ಮದರ್ಶನಾದ್ಧೇತೋ ರ್ನ ಕಿನ್ತು ಪೂಪಭೋಜನಾತ್ ತೇನ ತೃಪ್ತತ್ವಾಞ್ಚ ಮಾಂ ಗವೇಷಯಥ|
Jesus responded to them and said, Truly, truly, I say unto you, You seek me not because you saw the miracles, but because you ate of the loaves, and were filled.
27 ಕ್ಷಯಣೀಯಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಾರ್ಥಂ ಮಾ ಶ್ರಾಮಿಷ್ಟ ಕಿನ್ತ್ವನ್ತಾಯುರ್ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಾರ್ಥಂ ಶ್ರಾಮ್ಯತ, ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ತಾದೃಶಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಮನುಜಪುತ್ರೋ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭ್ಯಂ ದಾಸ್ಯತಿ; ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ತಾತ ಈಶ್ವರಃ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಂ ಪ್ರಾದಾತ್| (aiōnios g166)
Labor not for the food that perishes, but the food that abideth unto eternal life, which the Son of man gives to you: for this God the Father hath sealed. (aiōnios g166)
28 ತದಾ ತೇಽಪೃಚ್ಛನ್ ಈಶ್ವರಾಭಿಮತಂ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತ್ತುಮ್ ಅಸ್ಮಾಭಿಃ ಕಿಂ ಕರ್ತ್ತವ್ಯಂ?
Then they said to Him, What must we do, that we may work the works of God?
29 ತತೋ ಯೀಶುರವದದ್ ಈಶ್ವರೋ ಯಂ ಪ್ರೈರಯತ್ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ವಿಶ್ವಸನಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರಾಭಿಮತಂ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮ|
Jesus responded and said to them, This is the work of God, that you may believe on Him whom He hath sent.
30 ತದಾ ತೇ ವ್ಯಾಹರನ್ ಭವತಾ ಕಿಂ ಲಕ್ಷಣಂ ದರ್ಶಿತಂ ಯದ್ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ಭವತಿ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿಷ್ಯಾಮಃ? ತ್ವಯಾ ಕಿಂ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮ ಕೃತಂ?
Then they said to Him, Then what miracle do you perform, that we may see, and believe you, what you may do?
31 ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಾನ್ತರೇ ಮಾನ್ನಾಂ ಭೋಕ್ತ್ತುಂ ಪ್ರಾಪುಃ ಯಥಾ ಲಿಪಿರಾಸ್ತೇ| ಸ್ವರ್ಗೀಯಾಣಿ ತು ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಾಣಿ ಪ್ರದದೌ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಃ|
Our fathers ate manna in the wilderness; as has been written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
32 ತದಾ ಯೀಶುರವದದ್ ಅಹಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನತಿಯಥಾರ್ಥಂ ವದಾಮಿ ಮೂಸಾ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭ್ಯಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗೀಯಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ನಾದಾತ್ ಕಿನ್ತು ಮಮ ಪಿತಾ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭ್ಯಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗೀಯಂ ಪರಮಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ದದಾತಿ|
Then Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say unto you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven; but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.
33 ಯಃ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದವರುಹ್ಯ ಜಗತೇ ಜೀವನಂ ದದಾತಿ ಸ ಈಶ್ವರದತ್ತಭಕ್ಷ್ಯರೂಪಃ|
For the bread of God is the One coming down from heaven, and giving life to the world.
34 ತದಾ ತೇ ಪ್ರಾವೋಚನ್ ಹೇ ಪ್ರಭೋ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಿದಂ ನಿತ್ಯಮಸ್ಮಭ್ಯಂ ದದಾತು|
Then they said to Him, Lord, evermore give to us this bread.
35 ಯೀಶುರವದದ್ ಅಹಮೇವ ಜೀವನರೂಪಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಮಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಮ್ ಆಗಚ್ಛತಿ ಸ ಜಾತು ಕ್ಷುಧಾರ್ತ್ತೋ ನ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ, ತಥಾ ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಮಾಂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇತಿ ಸ ಜಾತು ತೃಷಾರ್ತ್ತೋ ನ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ|
Then Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life; the one coming unto me can never hunger, and the one believing on me shall never thirst.
36 ಮಾಂ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾಪಿ ಯೂಯಂ ನ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿಥ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನಹಮ್ ಇತ್ಯವೋಚಂ|
But I said unto you, That you have seen, and you do not believe.
37 ಪಿತಾ ಮಹ್ಯಂ ಯಾವತೋ ಲೋಕಾನದದಾತ್ ತೇ ಸರ್ವ್ವ ಏವ ಮಮಾನ್ತಿಕಮ್ ಆಗಮಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿಚ್ಚ ಮಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಮ್ ಆಯಾಸ್ಯತಿ ತಂ ಕೇನಾಪಿ ಪ್ರಕಾರೇಣ ನ ದೂರೀಕರಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ|
Everything which the Father giveth unto me shall come to me; and him that cometh unto me I will in no wise cast out.
38 ನಿಜಾಭಿಮತಂ ಸಾಧಯಿತುಂ ನ ಹಿ ಕಿನ್ತು ಪ್ರೇರಯಿತುರಭಿಮತಂ ಸಾಧಯಿತುಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದ್ ಆಗತೋಸ್ಮಿ|
Because I have come down from heaven, not that I may do my own will, but the will of Him that sent me.
39 ಸ ಯಾನ್ ಯಾನ್ ಲೋಕಾನ್ ಮಹ್ಯಮದದಾತ್ ತೇಷಾಮೇಕಮಪಿ ನ ಹಾರಯಿತ್ವಾ ಶೇಷದಿನೇ ಸರ್ವ್ವಾನಹಮ್ ಉತ್ಥಾಪಯಾಮಿ ಇದಂ ಮತ್ಪ್ರೇರಯಿತುಃ ಪಿತುರಭಿಮತಂ|
And this is the will of the One having sent me, that everything that the Father has given unto me I shall lose nothing of it, but I shall raise it up in the last day.
40 ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿನ್ ಮಾನವಸುತಂ ವಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ವಿಶ್ವಸಿತಿ ಸ ಶೇಷದಿನೇ ಮಯೋತ್ಥಾಪಿತಃ ಸನ್ ಅನನ್ತಾಯುಃ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಸ್ಯತಿ ಇತಿ ಮತ್ಪ್ರೇರಕಸ್ಯಾಭಿಮತಂ| (aiōnios g166)
For this is the will of my Father, that every one seeing the Son, and believing on Him, may have eternal life; and I will raise him up in the last day. (aiōnios g166)
41 ತದಾ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದ್ ಯದ್ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಮ್ ಅವಾರೋಹತ್ ತದ್ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಮ್ ಅಹಮೇವ ಯಿಹೂದೀಯಲೋಕಾಸ್ತಸ್ಯೈತದ್ ವಾಕ್ಯೇ ವಿವದಮಾನಾ ವಕ್ತ್ತುಮಾರೇಭಿರೇ
Then the Jews were murmuring concerning Him, because He said, I am the bread having come down from heaven,
42 ಯೂಷಫಃ ಪುತ್ರೋ ಯೀಶು ರ್ಯಸ್ಯ ಮಾತಾಪಿತರೌ ವಯಂ ಜಾನೀಮ ಏಷ ಕಿಂ ಸಏವ ನ? ತರ್ಹಿ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದ್ ಅವಾರೋಹಮ್ ಇತಿ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಕಥಂ ವಕ್ತ್ತಿ?
and they continued to say, Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how does He now say; I have come down from heaven?
43 ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಾನ್ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವದತ್ ಪರಸ್ಪರಂ ಮಾ ವಿವದಧ್ವಂ
Jesus responded and said to them, Murmur not with one another.
44 ಮತ್ಪ್ರೇರಕೇಣ ಪಿತ್ರಾ ನಾಕೃಷ್ಟಃ ಕೋಪಿ ಜನೋ ಮಮಾನ್ತಿಕಮ್ ಆಯಾತುಂ ನ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ ಕಿನ್ತ್ವಾಗತಂ ಜನಂ ಚರಮೇಽಹ್ನಿ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಥಾಪಯಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ|
No one is able to come unto me, unless the Father who sent me may draw him: and I will raise him up in the last day.
45 ತೇ ಸರ್ವ್ವ ಈಶ್ವರೇಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿತಾ ಭವಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಾದಿನಾಂ ಗ್ರನ್ಥೇಷು ಲಿಪಿರಿತ್ಥಮಾಸ್ತೇ ಅತೋ ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿತ್ ಪಿತುಃ ಸಕಾಶಾತ್ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷತೇ ಸ ಏವ ಮಮ ಸಮೀಪಮ್ ಆಗಮಿಷ್ಯತಿ|
It is written in the prophets, They shall all be taught of God; every one hearing and learning from the Father, comes to me.
46 ಯ ಈಶ್ವರಾದ್ ಅಜಾಯತ ತಂ ವಿನಾ ಕೋಪಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯೋ ಜನಕಂ ನಾದರ್ಶತ್ ಕೇವಲಃ ಸಏವ ತಾತಮ್ ಅದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೀತ್|
No one has seen the Father, except the One who is with God, He hath seen God.
Truly, truly, I say unto you, the one believing has eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
48 ಅಹಮೇವ ತಜ್ಜೀವನಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ|
I am the bread of life.
49 ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವಪುರುಷಾ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಾನ್ತರೇ ಮನ್ನಾಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಭೂಕ್ತ್ತಾಪಿ ಮೃತಾಃ
Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and died;
50 ಕಿನ್ತು ಯದ್ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದಾಗಚ್ಛತ್ ತದ್ ಯದಿ ಕಶ್ಚಿದ್ ಭುಙ್ಕ್ತ್ತೇ ತರ್ಹಿ ಸ ನ ಮ್ರಿಯತೇ|
this is the bread coming down from heaven, that any one may eat of it, and not die.
51 ಯಜ್ಜೀವನಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದಾಗಚ್ಛತ್ ಸೋಹಮೇವ ಇದಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಭುಙ್ಕ್ತ್ತೇ ಸ ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವೀ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ| ಪುನಶ್ಚ ಜಗತೋ ಜೀವನಾರ್ಥಮಹಂ ಯತ್ ಸ್ವಕೀಯಪಿಶಿತಂ ದಾಸ್ಯಾಮಿ ತದೇವ ಮಯಾ ವಿತರಿತಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಮ್| (aiōn g165)
I am the living bread, having come down from heaven; if any one may eat of me the bread, he will live forever: and the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh. (aiōn g165)
52 ತಸ್ಮಾದ್ ಯಿಹೂದೀಯಾಃ ಪರಸ್ಪರಂ ವಿವದಮಾನಾ ವಕ್ತ್ತುಮಾರೇಭಿರೇ ಏಷ ಭೋಜನಾರ್ಥಂ ಸ್ವೀಯಂ ಪಲಲಂ ಕಥಮ್ ಅಸ್ಮಭ್ಯಂ ದಾಸ್ಯತಿ?
Then the Jews were contending with one another, saying, How is this One able to give unto us His flesh to eat?
53 ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಾನ್ ಆವೋಚದ್ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನಹಂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತರಂ ವದಾಮಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರಸ್ಯಾಮಿಷೇ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭಿ ರ್ನ ಭುಕ್ತ್ತೇ ತಸ್ಯ ರುಧಿರೇ ಚ ನ ಪೀತೇ ಜೀವನೇನ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಸಮ್ಬನ್ಧೋ ನಾಸ್ತಿ|
Then Jesus said unto them, Truly, truly, I say unto you, Unless you may eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.
54 ಯೋ ಮಮಾಮಿಷಂ ಸ್ವಾದತಿ ಮಮ ಸುಧಿರಞ್ಚ ಪಿವತಿ ಸೋನನ್ತಾಯುಃ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ನೋತಿ ತತಃ ಶೇಷೇಽಹ್ನಿ ತಮಹಮ್ ಉತ್ಥಾಪಯಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ| (aiōnios g166)
The one eating my flesh and drinking my blood has eternal life; and I will raise him up in the last day. (aiōnios g166)
55 ಯತೋ ಮದೀಯಮಾಮಿಷಂ ಪರಮಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ತಥಾ ಮದೀಯಂ ಶೋಣಿತಂ ಪರಮಂ ಪೇಯಂ|
For my flesh is the true food, and my blood is the true drink.
56 ಯೋ ಜನೋ ಮದೀಯಂ ಪಲಲಂ ಸ್ವಾದತಿ ಮದೀಯಂ ರುಧಿರಞ್ಚ ಪಿವತಿ ಸ ಮಯಿ ವಸತಿ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ನಹಞ್ಚ ವಸಾಮಿ|
The one eating my flesh and drinking my blood abides in me, and I in him.
57 ಮತ್ಪ್ರೇರಯಿತ್ರಾ ಜೀವತಾ ತಾತೇನ ಯಥಾಹಂ ಜೀವಾಮಿ ತದ್ವದ್ ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿನ್ ಮಾಮತ್ತಿ ಸೋಪಿ ಮಯಾ ಜೀವಿಷ್ಯತಿ|
As the living Father sent me, and I live through the Father; truly the one eating me, shall also live through me.
58 ಯದ್ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾದಾಗಚ್ಛತ್ ತದಿದಂ ಯನ್ಮಾನ್ನಾಂ ಸ್ವಾದಿತ್ವಾ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪಿತರೋಽಮ್ರಿಯನ್ತ ತಾದೃಶಮ್ ಇದಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ನ ಭವತಿ ಇದಂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಯೋ ಭಕ್ಷತಿ ಸ ನಿತ್ಯಂ ಜೀವಿಷ್ಯತಿ| (aiōn g165)
He is the bread having come down from heaven: not as the fathers ate, and died: the one eating this bread shall live forever. (aiōn g165)
59 ಯದಾ ಕಫರ್ನಾಹೂಮ್ ಪುರ್ಯ್ಯಾಂ ಭಜನಗೇಹೇ ಉಪಾದಿಶತ್ ತದಾ ಕಥಾ ಏತಾ ಅಕಥಯತ್|
And He spoke these things in the synagogue, teaching in Capernaum.
60 ತದೇತ್ಥಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ತಸ್ಯ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾಣಾಮ್ ಅನೇಕೇ ಪರಸ್ಪರಮ್ ಅಕಥಯನ್ ಇದಂ ಗಾಢಂ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ವಾಕ್ಯಮೀದೃಶಂ ಕಃ ಶ್ರೋತುಂ ಶಕ್ರುಯಾತ್?
Then many of His disciples, hearing, said, This is a hard sermon; who is able to hear it?
61 ಕಿನ್ತು ಯೀಶುಃ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾಣಾಮ್ ಇತ್ಥಂ ವಿವಾದಂ ಸ್ವಚಿತ್ತೇ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್ ಇದಂ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಕಿಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ವಿಘ್ನಂ ಜನಯತಿ?
And Jesus knowing in Himself that His disciples are murmuring concerning it, said to them, Does this offend you?
62 ಯದಿ ಮನುಜಸುತಂ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನಮ್ ಊರ್ದ್ವ್ವಂ ಗಚ್ಛನ್ತಂ ಪಶ್ಯಥ ತರ್ಹಿ ಕಿಂ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ?
If then you may see the Son of man ascending up, where He was formerly?
63 ಆತ್ಮೈವ ಜೀವನದಾಯಕಃ ವಪು ರ್ನಿಷ್ಫಲಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಭ್ಯಮಹಂ ಯಾನಿ ವಚಾಂಸಿ ಕಥಯಾಮಿ ತಾನ್ಯಾತ್ಮಾ ಜೀವನಞ್ಚ|
The Spirit is the One who creates life; the flesh profits nothing; the words which I have spoken unto you are spirit and life.
64 ಕಿನ್ತು ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಕೇಚನ ಅವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿನಃ ಸನ್ತಿ ಕೇ ಕೇ ನ ವಿಶ್ವಸನ್ತಿ ಕೋ ವಾ ತಂ ಪರಕರೇಷು ಸಮರ್ಪಯಿಷ್ಯತಿ ತಾನ್ ಯೀಶುರಾಪ್ರಥಮಾದ್ ವೇತ್ತಿ|
But there are certain ones of you who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning that there are certain ones not believing, and there is one going to betray Him.
65 ಅಪರಮಪಿ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್ ಅಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಕಾರಣಾದ್ ಅಕಥಯಂ ಪಿತುಃ ಸಕಾಶಾತ್ ಶಕ್ತ್ತಿಮಪ್ರಾಪ್ಯ ಕೋಪಿ ಮಮಾನ್ತಿಕಮ್ ಆಗನ್ತುಂ ನ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ|
And He said, Therefore I have said unto you, that no one is able to come unto me, unless it may have been given unto him of the Father.
66 ತತ್ಕಾಲೇಽನೇಕೇ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ವ್ಯಾಘುಟ್ಯ ತೇನ ಸಾರ್ದ್ಧಂ ಪುನ ರ್ನಾಗಚ್ಛನ್|
Moreover from this many of His disciples went back, and walked with Him no more.
67 ತದಾ ಯೀಶು ರ್ದ್ವಾದಶಶಿಷ್ಯಾನ್ ಉಕ್ತ್ತವಾನ್ ಯೂಯಮಪಿ ಕಿಂ ಯಾಸ್ಯಥ?
Then Jesus said to the twelve, Do you also wish to go away?
Simon Peter responded to Him, Lord, to whom shall we go away? thou hast the words of eternal life; (aiōnios g166)
69 ಅನನ್ತಜೀವನದಾಯಿನ್ಯೋ ಯಾಃ ಕಥಾಸ್ತಾಸ್ತವೈವ| ಭವಾನ್ ಅಮರೇಶ್ವರಸ್ಯಾಭಿಷಿಕ್ತ್ತಪುತ್ರ ಇತಿ ವಿಶ್ವಸ್ಯ ನಿಶ್ಚಿತಂ ಜಾನೀಮಃ|
we have believed and we know that thou art the Holy One of God.
70 ತದಾ ಯೀಶುರವದತ್ ಕಿಮಹಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ದ್ವಾದಶಜನಾನ್ ಮನೋನೀತಾನ್ ನ ಕೃತವಾನ್? ಕಿನ್ತು ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇಪಿ ಕಶ್ಚಿದೇಕೋ ವಿಘ್ನಕಾರೀ ವಿದ್ಯತೇ|
Jesus responded to them, Have I not chosen you twelve, and one of you is devilish?
71 ಇಮಾಂ ಕಥಂ ಸ ಶಿಮೋನಃ ಪುತ್ರಮ್ ಈಷ್ಕರೀಯೋತೀಯಂ ಯಿಹೂದಾಮ್ ಉದ್ದಿಶ್ಯ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್ ಯತೋ ದ್ವಾದಶಾನಾಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಗಣಿತಃ ಸ ತಂ ಪರಕರೇಷು ಸಮರ್ಪಯಿಷ್ಯತಿ|
But He spoke of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon, for he was going to betray Him, being one of the twelve.
