ಇಬ್ರಿಣಃ 3
1 ಹೇ ಸ್ವರ್ಗೀಯಸ್ಯಾಹ್ವಾನಸ್ಯ ಸಹಭಾಗಿನಃ ಪವಿತ್ರಭ್ರಾತರಃ, ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ಧರ್ಮ್ಮಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾಯಾ ದೂತೋಽಗ್ರಸರಶ್ಚ ಯೋ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಮ್ ಆಲೋಚಧ್ವಂ|
Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus;
2 ಮೂಸಾ ಯದ್ವತ್ ತಸ್ಯ ಸರ್ವ್ವಪರಿವಾರಮಧ್ಯೇ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ್ಯ ಆಸೀತ್, ತದ್ವತ್ ಅಯಮಪಿ ಸ್ವನಿಯೋಜಕಸ್ಯ ಸಮೀಪೇ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ್ಯೋ ಭವತಿ|
who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Moses in his house.
3 ಪರಿವಾರಾಚ್ಚ ಯದ್ವತ್ ತತ್ಸ್ಥಾಪಯಿತುರಧಿಕಂ ಗೌರವಂ ಭವತಿ ತದ್ವತ್ ಮೂಸಸೋಽಯಂ ಬಹುತರಗೌರವಸ್ಯ ಯೋಗ್ಯೋ ಭವತಿ|
For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, just as he who built the house has more honor than the house.
4 ಏಕೈಕಸ್ಯ ನಿವೇಶನಸ್ಯ ಪರಿಜನಾನಾಂ ಸ್ಥಾಪಯಿತಾ ಕಶ್ಚಿದ್ ವಿದ್ಯತೇ ಯಶ್ಚ ಸರ್ವ್ವಸ್ಥಾಪಯಿತಾ ಸ ಈಶ್ವರ ಏವ|
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
5 ಮೂಸಾಶ್ಚ ವಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಾಣಾನಾಂ ಸಾಕ್ಷೀ ಭೃತ್ಯ ಇವ ತಸ್ಯ ಸರ್ವ್ವಪರಿಜನಮಧ್ಯೇ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ್ಯೋಽಭವತ್ ಕಿನ್ತು ಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟಸ್ತಸ್ಯ ಪರಿಜನಾನಾಮಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಇವ|
Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
6 ವಯಂ ತು ಯದಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಸ್ಯೋತ್ಸಾಹಂ ಶ್ಲಾಘನಞ್ಚ ಶೇಷಂ ಯಾವದ್ ಧಾರಯಾಮಸ್ತರ್ಹಿ ತಸ್ಯ ಪರಿಜನಾ ಭವಾಮಃ|
but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope.
7 ಅತೋ ಹೇತೋಃ ಪವಿತ್ರೇಣಾತ್ಮನಾ ಯದ್ವತ್ ಕಥಿತಂ, ತದ್ವತ್, "ಅದ್ಯ ಯೂಯಂ ಕಥಾಂ ತಸ್ಯ ಯದಿ ಸಂಶ್ರೋತುಮಿಚ್ಛಥ|
Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, "Today if you will hear his voice,
8 ತರ್ಹಿ ಪುರಾ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾಯಾ ದಿನೇ ಪ್ರಾನ್ತರಮಧ್ಯತಃ| ಮದಾಜ್ಞಾನಿಗ್ರಹಸ್ಥಾನೇ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭಿಸ್ತು ಕೃತಂ ಯಥಾ| ತಥಾ ಮಾ ಕುರುತೇದಾನೀಂ ಕಠಿನಾನಿ ಮನಾಂಸಿ ವಃ|
do not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
9 ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಪಿತರಸ್ತತ್ರ ಮತ್ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾಮ್ ಅಕುರ್ವ್ವತ| ಕುರ್ವ್ವದ್ಭಿ ರ್ಮೇಽನುಸನ್ಧಾನಂ ತೈರದೃಶ್ಯನ್ತ ಮತ್ಕ್ರಿಯಾಃ| ಚತ್ವಾರಿಂಶತ್ಸಮಾ ಯಾವತ್ ಕ್ರುದ್ಧ್ವಾಹನ್ತು ತದನ್ವಯೇ|
where your fathers tested me and challenged me, and saw my works for forty years.
10 ಅವಾದಿಷಮ್ ಇಮೇ ಲೋಕಾ ಭ್ರಾನ್ತಾನ್ತಃಕರಣಾಃ ಸದಾ| ಮಾಮಕೀನಾನಿ ವರ್ತ್ಮಾನಿ ಪರಿಜಾನನ್ತಿ ನೋ ಇಮೇ|
Therefore I was displeased with this generation, and said, 'They always err in their heart, but they did not know my ways;'
11 ಇತಿ ಹೇತೋರಹಂ ಕೋಪಾತ್ ಶಪಥಂ ಕೃತವಾನ್ ಇಮಂ| ಪ್ರೇವೇಕ್ಷ್ಯತೇ ಜನೈರೇತೈ ರ್ನ ವಿಶ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥಲಂ ಮಮ|| "
as I swore in my wrath, 'They will not enter into my rest.'"
12 ಹೇ ಭ್ರಾತರಃ ಸಾವಧಾನಾ ಭವತ, ಅಮರೇಶ್ವರಾತ್ ನಿವರ್ತ್ತಕೋ ಯೋಽವಿಶ್ವಾಸಸ್ತದ್ಯುಕ್ತಂ ದುಷ್ಟಾನ್ತಃಕರಣಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಕಸ್ಯಾಪಿ ನ ಭವತು|
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13 ಕಿನ್ತು ಯಾವದ್ ಅದ್ಯನಾಮಾ ಸಮಯೋ ವಿದ್ಯತೇ ತಾವದ್ ಯುಷ್ಮನ್ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಕೋಽಪಿ ಪಾಪಸ್ಯ ವಞ್ಚನಯಾ ಯತ್ ಕಠೋರೀಕೃತೋ ನ ಭವೇತ್ ತದರ್ಥಂ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನಂ ಪರಸ್ಪರಮ್ ಉಪದಿಶತ|
but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called "today;" lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14 ಯತೋ ವಯಂ ಖ್ರೀಷ್ಟಸ್ಯಾಂಶಿನೋ ಜಾತಾಃ ಕಿನ್ತು ಪ್ರಥಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸಸ್ಯ ದೃಢತ್ವಮ್ ಅಸ್ಮಾಭಿಃ ಶೇಷಂ ಯಾವದ್ ಅಮೋಘಂ ಧಾರಯಿತವ್ಯಂ|
For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end:
15 ಅದ್ಯ ಯೂಯಂ ಕಥಾಂ ತಸ್ಯ ಯದಿ ಸಂಶ್ರೋತುಮಿಚ್ಛಥ, ತರ್ಹ್ಯಾಜ್ಞಾಲಙ್ಘನಸ್ಥಾನೇ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭಿಸ್ತು ಕೃತಂ ಯಥಾ, ತಥಾ ಮಾ ಕುರುತೇದಾನೀಂ ಕಠಿನಾನಿ ಮನಾಂಸಿ ವ ಇತಿ ತೇನ ಯದುಕ್ತಂ,
while it is said, "Today if you will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion."
16 ತದನುಸಾರಾದ್ ಯೇ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ತಸ್ಯ ಕಥಾಂ ನ ಗೃಹೀತವನ್ತಸ್ತೇ ಕೇ? ಕಿಂ ಮೂಸಸಾ ಮಿಸರದೇಶಾದ್ ಆಗತಾಃ ಸರ್ವ್ವೇ ಲೋಕಾ ನಹಿ?
For who, when they heard, rebelled? No, did not all those who came out of Egypt by Moses?
17 ಕೇಭ್ಯೋ ವಾ ಸ ಚತ್ವಾರಿಂಶದ್ವರ್ಷಾಣಿ ಯಾವದ್ ಅಕ್ರುಧ್ಯತ್? ಪಾಪಂ ಕುರ್ವ್ವತಾಂ ಯೇಷಾಂ ಕುಣಪಾಃ ಪ್ರಾನ್ತರೇ ಽಪತನ್ ಕಿಂ ತೇಭ್ಯೋ ನಹಿ?
With whom was he displeased forty years? Was not it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18 ಪ್ರವೇಕ್ಷ್ಯತೇ ಜನೈರೇತೈ ರ್ನ ವಿಶ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥಲಂ ಮಮೇತಿ ಶಪಥಃ ಕೇಷಾಂ ವಿರುದ್ಧಂ ತೇನಾಕಾರಿ? ಕಿಮ್ ಅವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿನಾಂ ವಿರುದ್ಧಂ ನಹಿ?
To whom did he swear that they would not enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19 ಅತಸ್ತೇ ತತ್ ಸ್ಥಾನಂ ಪ್ರವೇಷ್ಟುಮ್ ಅವಿಶ್ವಾಸಾತ್ ನಾಶಕ್ನುವನ್ ಇತಿ ವಯಂ ವೀಕ್ಷಾಮಹೇ|
We see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
