< philipinaḥ 4 >
1 hē madīyānandamukuṭasvarūpāḥ priyatamā abhīṣṭatamā bhrātaraḥ, hē mama snēhapātrāḥ, yūyam itthaṁ pabhau sthirāstiṣṭhata|
Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, so stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.
2 hē ivadiyē hē suntukhi yuvāṁ prabhau ēkabhāvē bhavatam ētad ahaṁ prārthayē|
I appeal to Euodia and I appeal to Syntyche to agree in the Lord.
3 hē mama satya sahakārin tvāmapi vinīya vadāmi ētayōrupakārastvayā kriyatāṁ yatastē klīminādibhiḥ sahakāribhiḥ sārddhaṁ susaṁvādapracāraṇāya mama sāhāyyārthaṁ pariśramam akurvvatāṁ tēṣāṁ sarvvēṣāṁ nāmāni ca jīvanapustakē likhitāni vidyantē|
Yes, I ask you also, true companion, help these women, for they labored with me in the Good News, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
4 yūyaṁ prabhau sarvvadānandata| puna rvadāmi yūyam ānandata|
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, Rejoice.
5 yuṣmākaṁ vinītatvaṁ sarvvamānavai rjñāyatāṁ, prabhuḥ sannidhau vidyatē|
Let your gentleness be evident to all people. The Lord is near.
6 yūyaṁ kimapi na cintayata kintu dhanyavādayuktābhyāṁ prārthanāyāñcābhyāṁ sarvvaviṣayē svaprārthanīyam īśvarāya nivēdayata|
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
7 tathā kr̥ta īśvarīyā yā śāntiḥ sarvvāṁ buddhim atiśētē sā yuṣmākaṁ cittāni manāṁsi ca khrīṣṭē yīśau rakṣiṣyati|
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 hē bhrātaraḥ, śēṣē vadāmi yadyat satyam ādaraṇīyaṁ nyāyyaṁ sādhu priyaṁ sukhyātam anyēṇa yēna kēnacit prakārēṇa vā guṇayuktaṁ praśaṁsanīyaṁ vā bhavati tatraiva manāṁsi nidhadhvaṁ|
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.
9 yūyaṁ māṁ dr̥ṣṭvā śrutvā ca yadyat śikṣitavantō gr̥hītavantaśca tadēvācarata tasmāt śāntidāyaka īśvarō yuṣmābhiḥ sārddhaṁ sthāsyati|
And the things you learned and received and heard and saw in me, do these things. And the God of peace will be with you.
10 mamōpakārāya yuṣmākaṁ yā cintā pūrvvam āsīt kintu karmmadvāraṁ na prāpnōt idānīṁ sā punaraphalat ityasmin prabhau mama paramāhlādō'jāyata|
Now I rejoice in the Lord greatly that at last you have revived your concern for me; in which you were indeed concerned, but you lacked opportunity.
11 ahaṁ yad dainyakāraṇād idaṁ vadāmi tannahi yatō mama yā kācid avasthā bhavēt tasyāṁ santōṣṭum aśikṣayaṁ|
I'm not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content in any circumstance.
12 daridratāṁ bhōktuṁ śaknōmi dhanāḍhyatām api bhōktuṁ śaknōmi sarvvathā sarvvaviṣayēṣu vinītō'haṁ pracuratāṁ kṣudhāñca dhanaṁ dainyañcāvagatō'smi|
I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret, whether full or hungry, whether having a lot or being in need.
13 mama śaktidāyakēna khrīṣṭēna sarvvamēva mayā śakyaṁ bhavati|
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
14 kintu yuṣmābhi rdainyanivāraṇāya mām upakr̥tya satkarmmākāri|
Still, you have done well to share my hardship.
15 hē philipīyalōkāḥ, susaṁvādasyōdayakālē yadāhaṁ mākidaniyādēśāt pratiṣṭhē tadā kēvalān yuṣmān vināparayā kayāpi samityā saha dānādānayō rmama kō'pi sambandhō nāsīd iti yūyamapi jānītha|
And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.
16 yatō yuṣmābhi rmama prayōjanāya thiṣalanīkīnagaramapi māṁ prati punaḥ punardānaṁ prēṣitaṁ|
For even in Thessalonica you sent me aid twice.
17 ahaṁ yad dānaṁ mr̥gayē tannahi kintu yuṣmākaṁ lābhavarddhakaṁ phalaṁ mr̥gayē|
Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your account.
18 kintu mama kasyāpyabhāvō nāsti sarvvaṁ pracuram āstē yata īśvarasya grāhyaṁ tuṣṭijanakaṁ sugandhinaivēdyasvarūpaṁ yuṣmākaṁ dānaṁ ipāphraditād gr̥hītvāhaṁ paritr̥ptō'smi|
But I have received everything in full, and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.
19 mamēśvarō'pi khrīṣṭēna yīśunā svakīyavibhavanidhitaḥ prayōjanīyaṁ sarvvaviṣayaṁ pūrṇarūpaṁ yuṣmabhyaṁ dēyāt|
And my God will supply all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
20 asmākaṁ piturīśvarasya dhanyavādō'nantakālaṁ yāvad bhavatu| āmēn| (aiōn )
Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
21 yūyaṁ yīśukhrīṣṭasyaikaikaṁ pavitrajanaṁ namaskuruta| mama saṅgibhrātarō yūṣmān namaskurvvatē|
Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you.
22 sarvvē pavitralōkā viśēṣataḥ kaisarasya parijanā yuṣmān namaskurvvatē|
All the saints greet you, especially those who are of Caesar's household.
23 asmākaṁ prabhō ryīśukhrīṣṭasya prasādaḥ sarvvān yuṣmān prati bhūyāt| āmēn|
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
