1 tataH paraM svargAd avarohan eko dUto mayA dRSTastasya kare ramAtalasya kuJjikA mahAzRGkhalaJcaikaM tiSThataH| (Abyssos )
AND I saw an angel descending from heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand. (Abyssos )
2 aparaM nAgo 'rthataH yo vRddhaH sarpo 'pavAdakaH zayatAnazcAsti tameva dhRtvA varSasahasraM yAvad baddhavAn|
And he laid hold of the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the deceiver, and Satana, who seduced all the habitable world, and bound him a thousand years;
3 aparaM rasAtale taM nikSipya tadupari dvAraM ruddhvA mudrAGkitavAn yasmAt tad varSasahasraM yAvat sampUrNaM na bhavet tAvad bhinnajAtIyAstena puna rna bhramitavyAH| tataH param alpakAlArthaM tasya mocanena bhavitavyaM| (Abyssos )
and cast him into the abyss, and shut and sealed over him, that he should no more seduce the nations, until the thousand years be completed: but after them he will be loosed a little time. (Abyssos )
4 anantaraM mayA siMhAsanAni dRSTAni tatra ye janA upAvizan tebhyo vicArabhAro 'dIyata; anantaraM yIzoH sAkSyasya kAraNAd IzvaravAkyasya kAraNAcca yeSAM zirazchedanaM kRtaM pazostadIyapratimAyA vA pUjA yai rna kRtA bhAle kare vA kalaGko 'pi na dhRtasteSAm AtmAno 'pi mayA dRSTAH, te prAptajIvanAstadvarSasahasraM yAvat khrISTena sArddhaM rAjatvamakurvvan|
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them; and to the souls of them who had been cut asunder for the sake of the testimony of Jeshu, and for the word of Aloha, and them who had not worshipped the beast of prey nor his image, nor received his signature upon their forehead and upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with their Meshiha the thousand years.
5 kintvavaziSTA mRtajanAstasya varSasahasrasya samApteH pUrvvaM jIvanaM na prApan|
This is the first resurrection.
6 eSA prathamotthitiH| yaH kazcit prathamAyA utthiteraMzI sa dhanyaH pavitrazca| teSu dvitIyamRtyoH ko 'pyadhikAro nAsti ta Izvarasya khrISTasya ca yAjakA bhaviSyanti varSasahasraM yAvat tena saha rAjatvaM kariSyanti ca|
Blessed and holy is he who hath part in the first resurrection: upon them the second death hath not power; but they shall be priests of Aloha and of his Meshiha, and shall reign with him the thousand years.
7 varSasahasre samApte zayatAnaH svakArAto mokSyate|
And when the thousand years shall be fulfilled, Satana will be loosed from the place of his keeping,
8 tataH sa pRthivyAzcaturdikSu sthitAn sarvvajAtIyAn vizeSato jUjAkhyAn mAjUjAkhyAMzca sAmudrasikatAvad bahusaMkhyakAn janAn bhramayitvA yuddhArthaM saMgrahItuM nirgamiSyati|
and will go forth and seduce the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gug and Mogug, to gather them to war, of whom the number is as the sand of the sea.
9 tataste medinyAH prasthenAgatya pavitralokAnAM durgaM priyatamAM nagarIJca veSTitavantaH kintvIzvareNa nikSipto 'gnirAkAzAt patitvA tAn khAditavAn|
10 teSAM bhramayitA ca zayatAno vahnigandhakayo rhrade 'rthataH pazu rmithyAbhaviSyadvAdI ca yatra tiSThatastatraiva nikSiptaH, tatrAnantakAlaM yAvat te divAnizaM yAtanAM bhokSyante| (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
And the accuser who seduced them was cast into the lake of fire and of sulphur, as was also the beast of prey and the false prophet; and they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
11 tataH zuklam ekaM mahAsiMhAsanaM mayA dRSTaM tadupaviSTo 'pi dRSTastasya vadanAntikAd bhUnabhomaNDale palAyetAM punastAbhyAM sthAnaM na labdhaM|
And I saw a great white throne, and Him who sat thereon, from whom from his face fled earth and heaven; and place (as) to this was not found for them.
12 aparaM kSudrA mahAntazca sarvve mRtA mayA dRSTAH, te siMhAsanasyAntike 'tiSThan granthAzca vyastIryyanta jIvanapustakAkhyam aparam ekaM pustakamapi vistIrNaM| tatra grantheSu yadyat likhitaM tasmAt mRtAnAm ekaikasya svakriyAnuyAyI vicAraH kRtaH|
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne; and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is (the Book) of Life. And the dead were judged from the (records) which are written in the books according to their works.
13 tadAnIM samudreNa svAntarasthA mRtajanAH samarpitAH, mRtyuparalokAbhyAmapi svAntarasthA mRtajanAH sarmipatAH, teSAJcaikaikasya svakriyAnuyAyI vicAraH kRtaH| (Hadēs )
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and shiul gave up the dead which were in them. And they were judged every one according to their works. (Hadēs )
14 aparaM mRtyuparalokau vahnihrade nikSiptau, eSa eva dvitIyo mRtyuH| (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )
And death and shiul were cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death. (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )
15 yasya kasyacit nAma jIvanapustake likhitaM nAvidyata sa eva tasmin vahnihrade nyakSipyata| (Limnē Pyr )
And if a man was not found written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the lake of fire. (Limnē Pyr )
