૨ કરિન્થિનઃ 11
1 યૂયં મમાજ્ઞાનતાં ક્ષણં યાવત્ સોઢુમ્ અર્હથ, અતઃ સા યુષ્માભિઃ સહ્યતાં|
I would that ye could bear with me a little, that I might talk foolishly: and indeed, bear ye with me.
2 ઈશ્વરે મમાસક્તત્વાદ્ અહં યુષ્માનધિ તપે યસ્માત્ સતીં કન્યામિવ યુષ્માન્ એકસ્મિન્ વરેઽર્થતઃ ખ્રીષ્ટે સમર્પયિતુમ્ અહં વાગ્દાનમ્ અકાર્ષં|
For I am jealous over you, with a godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to a husband as a chaste virgin, whom I would present to the Messiah.
3 કિન્તુ સર્પેણ સ્વખલતયા યદ્વદ્ હવા વઞ્ચયાઞ્ચકે તદ્વત્ ખ્રીષ્ટં પ્રતિ સતીત્વાદ્ યુષ્માકં ભ્રંશઃ સમ્ભવિષ્યતીતિ બિભેમિ|
But I fear, lest, as the serpent beguiled Eve by his craftiness, so your minds should be corrupted from simplicity towards the Messiah.
4 અસ્માભિરનાખ્યાપિતોઽપરઃ કશ્ચિદ્ યીશુ ર્યદિ કેનચિદ્ આગન્તુકેનાખ્યાપ્યતે યુષ્માભિઃ પ્રાગલબ્ધ આત્મા વા યદિ લભ્યતે પ્રાગગૃહીતઃ સુસંવાદો વા યદિ ગૃહ્યતે તર્હિ મન્યે યૂયં સમ્યક્ સહિષ્યધ્વે|
For if he that cometh to you, had proclaimed to you another Jesus, whom we have not proclaimed; or if ye had received another Spirit, which ye have not received; or another gospel, which ye have not accepted; ye might well have given assent.
5 કિન્તુ મુખ્યેભ્યઃ પ્રેરિતેભ્યોઽહં કેનચિત્ પ્રકારેણ ન્યૂનો નાસ્મીતિ બુધ્યે|
For, I suppose, I came not short of those legates who most excel.
6 મમ વાક્પટુતાયા ન્યૂનત્વે સત્યપિ જ્ઞાનસ્ય ન્યૂનત્વં નાસ્તિ કિન્તુ સર્વ્વવિષયે વયં યુષ્મદ્ગોચરે પ્રકાશામહે|
For, though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but in all things we have been manifest among you.
7 યુષ્માકમ્ ઉન્નત્યૈ મયા નમ્રતાં સ્વીકૃત્યેશ્વરસ્ય સુસંવાદો વિના વેતનં યુષ્માકં મધ્યે યદ્ અઘોષ્યત તેન મયા કિં પાપમ્ અકારિ?
Did I indeed commit an offence, by humbling myself that ye might be exalted? and by proclaiming the gospel of God to you gratis?
8 યુષ્માકં સેવનાયાહમ્ અન્યસમિતિભ્યો ભૃતિ ગૃહ્લન્ ધનમપહૃતવાન્,
And I robbed other churches, and I took pay of them for ministering to you.
9 યદા ચ યુષ્મન્મધ્યેઽવઽર્ત્તે તદા મમાર્થાભાવે જાતે યુષ્માકં કોઽપિ મયા ન પીડિતઃ; યતો મમ સોઽર્થાભાવો માકિદનિયાદેશાદ્ આગતૈ ભ્રાતૃભિ ન્યવાર્ય્યત, ઇત્થમહં ક્કાપિ વિષયે યથા યુષ્માસુ ભારો ન ભવામિ તથા મયાત્મરક્ષા કૃતા કર્ત્તવ્યા ચ|
And when I came among you and was needy, I was burdensome to none of you; for the brethren who came from Macedonia, supplied my wants: and in all things I kept myself, and I will keep myself, from being burdensome to you.
10 ખ્રીષ્ટસ્ય સત્યતા યદિ મયિ તિષ્ઠતિ તર્હિ મમૈષા શ્લાઘા નિખિલાખાયાદેશે કેનાપિ ન રોત્સ્યતે|
As the truth of the Messiah is in me, this glorying shall not be made vain as to me in the regions of Achaia.
11 એતસ્ય કારણં કિં? યુષ્માસુ મમ પ્રેમ નાસ્ત્યેતત્ કિં તત્કારણં? તદ્ ઈશ્વરો વેત્તિ|
Why? Because I do not love you? God knoweth.
12 યે છિદ્રમન્વિષ્યન્તિ તે યત્ કિમપિ છિદ્રં ન લભન્તે તદર્થમેવ તત્ કર્મ્મ મયા ક્રિયતે કારિષ્યતે ચ તસ્માત્ તે યેન શ્લાઘન્તે તેનાસ્માકં સમાના ભવિષ્યન્તિ|
But what I do, that also I will do; that I may cut off occasion, from them who seek occasion: so that in the thing wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
13 તાદૃશા ભાક્તપ્રેરિતાઃ પ્રવઞ્ચકાઃ કારવો ભૂત્વા ખ્રીષ્ટસ્ય પ્રેરિતાનાં વેશં ધારયન્તિ|
For they are false legates, crafty workers, and feign themselves to be legates of the Messiah.
14 તચ્ચાશ્ચર્ય્યં નહિ; યતઃ સ્વયં શયતાનપિ તેજસ્વિદૂતસ્ય વેશં ધારયતિ,
And in this there is nothing strange. For if Satan feigneth himself an angel of light,
15 તતસ્તસ્ય પરિચારકા અપિ ધર્મ્મપરિચારકાણાં વેશં ધારયન્તીત્યદ્ભુતં નહિ; કિન્તુ તેષાં કર્મ્માણિ યાદૃશાનિ ફલાન્યપિ તાદૃશાનિ ભવિષ્યન્તિ|
it is no great thing if his ministers feign themselves ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
16 અહં પુન ર્વદામિ કોઽપિ માં નિર્બ્બોધં ન મન્યતાં કિઞ્ચ યદ્યપિ નિર્બ્બોધો ભવેયં તથાપિ યૂયં નિર્બ્બોધમિવ મામનુગૃહ્ય ક્ષણૈકં યાવત્ મમાત્મશ્લાઘામ્ અનુજાનીત|
Again I say, let no one think of me, as being a fool: or if otherwise, receive me as a fool, that I may glory a little.
17 એતસ્યાઃ શ્લાઘાયા નિમિત્તં મયા યત્ કથિતવ્યં તત્ પ્રભુનાદિષ્ટેનેવ કથ્યતે તન્નહિ કિન્તુ નિર્બ્બોધેનેવ|
What I am now saying, I say not in our Lord, but as in folly, in this matter of glorying.
18 અપરે બહવઃ શારીરિકશ્લાઘાં કુર્વ્વતે તસ્માદ્ અહમપિ શ્લાઘિષ્યે|
Because many glory after the flesh, I also will glory.
19 બુદ્ધિમન્તો યૂયં સુખેન નિર્બ્બોધાનામ્ આચારં સહધ્વે|
For ye hear with indulgence them who lack reason, seeing ye are wise.
20 કોઽપિ યદિ યુષ્માન્ દાસાન્ કરોતિ યદિ વા યુષ્માકં સર્વ્વસ્વં ગ્રસતિ યદિ વા યુષ્માન્ હરતિ યદિ વાત્માભિમાની ભવતિ યદિ વા યુષ્માકં કપોલમ્ આહન્તિ તર્હિ તદપિ યૂયં સહધ્વે|
And ye give ear to him, who putteth you in bondage; and to him, who devoureth you; and to him, who taketh from you; and to him, who exalteth himself over you; and to him, who smiteth you in the face.
21 દૌર્બ્બલ્યાદ્ યુષ્માભિરવમાનિતા ઇવ વયં ભાષામહે, કિન્ત્વપરસ્ય કસ્યચિદ્ યેન પ્રગલ્ભતા જાયતે તેન મમાપિ પ્રગલ્ભતા જાયત ઇતિ નિર્બ્બોધેનેવ મયા વક્તવ્યં|
I speak as if under contempt: I speak as if we were impotent, through deficiency of understanding; that in whatever thing any one is presuming, I also am presuming.
22 તે કિમ્ ઇબ્રિલોકાઃ? અહમપીબ્રી| તે કિમ્ ઇસ્રાયેલીયાઃ? અહમપીસ્રાયેલીયઃ| તે કિમ્ ઇબ્રાહીમો વંશાઃ? અહમપીબ્રાહીમો વંશઃ|
If they are Hebrews, so I also: or if they are Israelites, I also. If they are the seed of Abraham, I also.
23 તે કિં ખ્રીષ્ટસ્ય પરિચારકાઃ? અહં તેભ્યોઽપિ તસ્ય મહાપરિચારકઃ; કિન્તુ નિર્બ્બોધ ઇવ ભાષે, તેભ્યોઽપ્યહં બહુપરિશ્રમે બહુપ્રહારે બહુવારં કારાયાં બહુવારં પ્રાણનાશસંશયે ચ પતિતવાન્|
If they are ministers of the Messiah, (in defect of understanding, I say it, ) I am superior to them: in toils more than they, in stripes more than they, in bonds more than they, in deaths many times.
24 યિહૂદીયૈરહં પઞ્ચકૃત્વ ઊનચત્વારિંશત્પ્રહારૈરાહતસ્ત્રિર્વેત્રાઘાતમ્ એકકૃત્વઃ પ્રસ્તરાઘાતઞ્ચ પ્રપ્તવાન્|
By the Jews, five times was I scourged, each time with forty stripes save one.
25 વારત્રયં પોતભઞ્જનેન ક્લિષ્ટોઽહમ્ અગાધસલિલે દિનમેકં રાત્રિમેકાઞ્ચ યાપિતવાન્|
Three times was I beaten with rods: at one time I was stoned: three times I was in shipwreck, by day and by night; I have been in the sea, without a ship.
26 બહુવારં યાત્રાભિ ર્નદીનાં સઙ્કટૈ ર્દસ્યૂનાં સઙ્કટૈઃ સ્વજાતીયાનાં સઙ્કટૈ ર્ભિન્નજાતીયાનાં સઙ્કટૈ ર્નગરસ્ય સઙ્કટૈ ર્મરુભૂમેઃ સઙ્કટૈ સાગરસ્ય સઙ્કટૈ ર્ભાક્તભ્રાતૃણાં સઙ્કટૈશ્ચ
In journeyings many, in peril by rivers, in peril by robbers, in peril from my kindred, in peril from Gentiles: I have been in peril in cities; I have been in peril in the desert, in peril in the sea, in peril from false brethren.
27 પરિશ્રમક્લેશાભ્યાં વારં વારં જાગરણેન ક્ષુધાતૃષ્ણાભ્યાં બહુવારં નિરાહારેણ શીતનગ્નતાભ્યાઞ્ચાહં કાલં યાપિતવાન્|
In toil and weariness, in much watching, in hunger and thirst, in much fasting, in cold and nakedness:
28 તાદૃશં નૈમિત્તિકં દુઃખં વિનાહં પ્રતિદિનમ્ આકુલો ભવામિ સર્વ્વાસાં સમિતીનાં ચિન્તા ચ મયિ વર્ત્તતે|
besides many other things, and the thronging around me every day, and my anxiety for all the churches.
29 યેનાહં ન દુર્બ્બલીભવામિ તાદૃશં દૌર્બ્બલ્યં કઃ પાપ્નોતિ?
Who becometh weak, and I become not weak? Who is stumbled, and I burn not?
30 યદિ મયા શ્લાઘિતવ્યં તર્હિ સ્વદુર્બ્બલતામધિ શ્લાઘિષ્યે|
If I must glory, I will glory in my infirmities.
31 મયા મૃષાવાક્યં ન કથ્યત ઇતિ નિત્યં પ્રશંસનીયોઽસ્માકં પ્રભો ર્યીશુખ્રીષ્ટસ્ય તાત ઈશ્વરો જાનાતિ| (aiōn g165)
God, the Father of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, blessed for ever and ever, he knoweth that I lie not. (aiōn g165)
32 દમ્મેષકનગરેઽરિતારાજસ્ય કાર્ય્યાધ્યક્ષો માં ધર્ત્તુમ્ ઇચ્છન્ યદા સૈન્યૈસ્તદ્ દમ્મેષકનગરમ્ અરક્ષયત્
At Damascus, the commander of the army of Aretas the king, guarded the city of the Damascenes, to seize me.
33 તદાહં લોકૈઃ પિટકમધ્યે પ્રાચીરગવાક્ષેણાવરોહિતસ્તસ્ય કરાત્ ત્રાણં પ્રાપં|
And from a window, in a basket, they let me down from the wall, and I escaped from his hands.
