फिलिपिनः 1
1 पौलतीमथिनामानौ यीशुख्रीष्टस्य दासौ फिलिपिनगरस्थान् ख्रीष्टयीशोः सर्व्वान् पवित्रलोकान् समितेरध्यक्षान् परिचारकांश्च प्रति पत्रं लिखतः।
Paul and Timothy, bondmen of Jesus Christ, to all the sanctified in Jesus Christ who are at Philippi, with the guardians and helpers:
2 अस्माकं तात ईश्वरः प्रभु र्यीशुख्रीष्टश्च युष्मभ्यं प्रसादस्य शान्तेश्च भोगं देयास्तां।
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 अहं निरन्तरं निजसर्व्वप्रार्थनासु युष्माकं सर्व्वेषां कृते सानन्दं प्रार्थनां कुर्व्वन्
I thank my God upon every memory of you,
4 यति वारान् युष्माकं स्मरामि तति वारान् आ प्रथमाद् अद्य यावद्
always in my every entreaty for all of you, making the entreaty with joy
5 युष्माकं सुसंवादभागित्वकारणाद् ईश्वरं धन्यं वदामि।
for your participation in the good news from the first day until now.
6 युष्मन्मध्ये येनोत्तमं कर्म्म कर्त्तुम् आरम्भि तेनैव यीशुख्रीष्टस्य दिनं यावत् तत् साधयिष्यत इत्यस्मिन् दृढविश्वासो ममास्ते।
Being confident of this same thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.
7 युष्मान् सर्व्वान् अधि मम तादृशो भावो यथार्थो यतोऽहं कारावस्थायां प्रत्युत्तरकरणे सुसंवादस्य प्रामाण्यकरणे च युष्मान् सर्व्वान् मया सार्द्धम् एकानुग्रहस्य भागिनो मत्वा स्वहृदये धारयामि।
Just as it is right for me to think this about all of you, because I have you in my heart, both in my bonds and in the defense and confirmation of the good news, you all being partners with me of the grace.
8 अपरम् अहं ख्रीष्टयीशोः स्नेहवत् स्नेहेन युष्मान् कीदृशं काङ्क्षामि तदधीश्वरो मम साक्षी विद्यते।
For God is my witness, how I long for you all in bowels of Jesus Christ.
9 मया यत् प्रार्थ्यते तद् इदं युष्माकं प्रेम नित्यं वृद्धिं गत्वा
And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment
10 ज्ञानस्य विशिष्टानां परीक्षिकायाश्च सर्व्वविधबुद्धे र्बाहुल्यं फलतु,
for you to examine the things that are significant. So that ye may be tested by sunlight and not stumbling toward the day of Christ,
11 ख्रीष्टस्य दिनं यावद् युष्माकं सारल्यं निर्विघ्नत्वञ्च भवतु, ईश्वरस्य गौरवाय प्रशंसायै च यीशुना ख्रीष्टेन पुण्यफलानां पूर्णता युष्मभ्यं दीयताम् इति।
having been filled with fruits of righteousness, through Jesus Christ, for glory and praise of God.
12 हे भ्रातरः, मां प्रति यद् यद् घटितं तेन सुसंवादप्रचारस्य बाधा नहि किन्तु वृद्धिरेव जाता तद् युष्मान् ज्ञापयितुं कामयेऽहं।
But I want you to know, brothers, that the things in respect to me have come more for the advancement of the good news,
13 अपरम् अहं ख्रीष्टस्य कृते बद्धोऽस्मीति राजपुर्य्याम् अन्यस्थानेषु च सर्व्वेषां निकटे सुस्पष्टम् अभवत्,
in order for my bonds in Christ to become apparent in the whole Praetorium, and in all the others.
14 प्रभुसम्बन्धीया अनेके भ्रातरश्च मम बन्धनाद् आश्वासं प्राप्य वर्द्धमानेनोत्साहेन निःक्षोभं कथां प्रचारयन्ति।
And more of the brothers in the Lord have been convinced by my bonds to be much more bold to speak the word fearlessly.
15 केचिद् द्वेषाद् विरोधाच्चापरे केचिच्च सद्भावात् ख्रीष्टं घोषयन्ति;
Actually some even preach the Christ because of envy and strife, and some also because of good-will.
16 ये विरोधात् ख्रीष्टं घोषयन्ति ते पवित्रभावात् तन्न कुर्व्वन्तो मम बन्धनानि बहुतरक्लोशदायीनि कर्त्तुम् इच्छन्ति।
Some indeed proclaim the Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to bring affliction to my bonds.
17 ये च प्रेम्ना घोषयन्ति ते सुसंवादस्य प्रामाण्यकरणेऽहं नियुक्तोऽस्मीति ज्ञात्वा तत् कुर्व्वन्ति।
But some from love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the good news.
18 किं बहुना? कापट्यात् सरलभावाद् वा भवेत्, येन केनचित् प्रकारेण ख्रीष्टस्य घोषणा भवतीत्यस्मिन् अहम् आनन्दाम्यानन्दिष्यामि च।
What then? Except in every way, whether in pretence or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in this I rejoice, but also I will rejoice.
19 युष्माकं प्रार्थनया यीशुख्रीष्टस्यात्मनश्चोपकारेण तत् मन्निस्तारजनकं भविष्यतीति जानामि।
For I know that this will turn out to me for salvation (through your entreaty, and the support of the Spirit of Jesus Christ)
20 तत्र च ममाकाङ्क्षा प्रत्याशा च सिद्धिं गमिष्यति फलतोऽहं केनापि प्रकारेण न लज्जिष्ये किन्तु गते सर्व्वस्मिन् काले यद्वत् तद्वद् इदानीमपि सम्पूर्णोत्साहद्वारा मम शरीरेण ख्रीष्टस्य महिमा जीवने मरणे वा प्रकाशिष्यते।
according to my eager expectation and hope that I will be shamed in nothing. But with all boldness, now as always, Christ will also be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death.
21 यतो मम जीवनं ख्रीष्टाय मरणञ्च लाभाय।
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
22 किन्तु यदि शरीरे मया जीवितव्यं तर्हि तत् कर्म्मफलं फलिष्यति तस्मात् किं वरितव्यं तन्मया न ज्ञायते।
But if to live in flesh, this is fruit of labor to me, then what I will choose I know not.
23 द्वाभ्याम् अहं सम्पीड्ये, देहवासत्यजनाय ख्रीष्टेन सहवासाय च ममाभिलाषो भवति यतस्तत् सर्व्वोत्तमं।
And I am constrained by the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, being far better.
24 किन्तु देहे ममावस्थित्या युष्माकम् अधिकप्रयोजनं।
But to remain in the flesh is more necessary because of you.
25 अहम् अवस्थास्ये युष्माभिः सर्व्वैः सार्द्धम् अवस्थितिं करिष्ये च तया च विश्वासे युष्माकं वृद्ध्यानन्दौ जनिष्येते तदहं निश्चितं जानामि।
And having been convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and will continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith.
26 तेन च मत्तोऽर्थतो युष्मत्समीपे मम पुनरुपस्थितत्वात् यूयं ख्रीष्टेन यीशुना बहुतरम् आह्लादं लप्स्यध्वे।
So that your pride may abound in Christ Jesus in me because of my presence with you again.
27 यूयं सावधाना भूत्वा ख्रीष्टस्य सुसंवादस्योपयुक्तम् आचारं कुरुध्वं यतोऽहं युष्मान् उपागत्य साक्षात् कुर्व्वन् किं वा दूरे तिष्ठन् युष्माकं यां वार्त्तां श्रोतुम् इच्छामि सेयं यूयम् एकात्मानस्तिष्ठथ, एकमनसा सुसंवादसम्बन्धीयविश्वासस्य पक्षे यतध्वे, विपक्षैश्च केनापि प्रकारेण न व्याकुलीक्रियध्व इति।
Only be citizens worthy of the good news of the Christ, so that, whether having come and having seen you or being absent, I may hear things about you that ye stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving together for the faith of the good news.
28 तत् तेषां विनाशस्य लक्षणं युष्माकञ्चेश्वरदत्तं परित्राणस्य लक्षणं भविष्यति।
And not being frightened in anything by those who oppose, which is indeed a sign of destruction to them, but to you of salvation, and this from God.
29 यतो येन युष्माभिः ख्रीष्टे केवलविश्वासः क्रियते तन्नहि किन्तु तस्य कृते क्लेशोऽपि सह्यते तादृशो वरः ख्रीष्टस्यानुरोधाद् युष्माभिः प्रापि,
Because to you it was granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him,
30 तस्मात् मम यादृशं युद्धं युष्माभिरदर्शि साम्प्रतं श्रूयते च तादृशं युद्धं युष्माकम् अपि भवति।
having the same conflict such as ye saw in me, and now hear is in me.
