1 အစရဉ္စ ပရွွဏော ဒွိတီယဒိနာတ် ပရံ ပြထမဝိၑြာမဝါရေ ၑသျက္ၐေတြေဏ ယီၑောရ္ဂမနကာလေ တသျ ၑိၐျား ကဏိၑံ ဆိတ္တွာ ကရေၐု မရ္ဒ္ဒယိတွာ ခါဒိတုမာရေဘိရေ၊
Now it happened on a second-first Sabbath that He was passing through the grain fields, and His disciples began to pick and eat the heads of grain, rubbing them in their hands.
2 တသ္မာတ် ကိယန္တး ဖိရူၑိနသ္တာနဝဒန် ဝိၑြာမဝါရေ ယတ် ကရ္မ္မ န ကရ္တ္တဝျံ တတ် ကုတး ကုရုထ?
But some of the Pharisees said to them, “Why are you doing that which is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?”
3 ယီၑုး ပြတျုဝါစ ဒါယူဒ် တသျ သင်္ဂိနၑ္စ က္ၐုဓာရ္တ္တား ကိံ စကြုး သ ကထမ် ဤၑွရသျ မန္ဒိရံ ပြဝိၑျ
So in answer to them Jesus said: “Have you not even read this, what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:
4 ယေ ဒရ္ၑနီယား ပူပါ ယာဇကာန် ဝိနာနျသျ ကသျာပျဘောဇနီယာသ္တာနာနီယ သွယံ ဗုဘဇေ သင်္ဂိဘျောပိ ဒဒေါ် တတ် ကိံ ယုၐ္မာဘိး ကဒါပိ နာပါဌိ?
how he went into the house of God, took and ate the showbread, and even gave it to those with him—that which only the priests are allowed to eat?”
5 ပၑ္စာတ် သ တာနဝဒတ် မနုဇသုတော ဝိၑြာမဝါရသျာပိ ပြဘု ရ္ဘဝတိ၊
Then He said to them, “The Son of the Man is Lord even of the Sabbath!”
6 အနန္တရမ် အနျဝိၑြာမဝါရေ သ ဘဇနဂေဟံ ပြဝိၑျ သမုပဒိၑတိ၊ တဒါ တတ္သ္ထာနေ ၑုၐ္ကဒက္ၐိဏကရ ဧကး ပုမာန် ဥပတသ္ထိဝါန်၊
Now it happened on a different Sabbath that He entered the synagogue and began to teach. Well there was a man there whose right hand was shriveled;
7 တသ္မာဒ် အဓျာပကား ဖိရူၑိနၑ္စ တသ္မိန် ဒေါၐမာရောပယိတုံ သ ဝိၑြာမဝါရေ တသျ သွာသ္ထျံ ကရောတိ နဝေတိ ပြတီက္ၐိတုမာရေဘိရေ၊
so the scribes and the Pharisees started watching, to see if He would heal on the Sabbath, so that they might find an accusation against Him.
8 တဒါ ယီၑုသ္တေၐာံ စိန္တာံ ဝိဒိတွာ တံ ၑုၐ္ကကရံ ပုမာံသံ ပြောဝါစ, တွမုတ္ထာယ မဓျသ္ထာနေ တိၐ္ဌ၊
But He knew their thoughts and said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Get up and stand in the center.” So he got up and stood.
9 တသ္မာတ် တသ္မိန် ဥတ္ထိတဝတိ ယီၑုသ္တာန် ဝျာဇဟာရ, ယုၐ္မာန် ဣမာံ ကထာံ ပၖစ္ဆာမိ, ဝိၑြာမဝါရေ ဟိတမ် အဟိတံ ဝါ, ပြာဏရက္ၐဏံ ပြာဏနာၑနံ ဝါ, ဧတေၐာံ ကိံ ကရ္မ္မကရဏီယမ်?
Then Jesus said to them: “I will ask you something: Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?”
10 ပၑ္စာတ် စတုရ္ဒိက္ၐု သရွွာန် ဝိလောကျ တံ မာနဝံ ဗဘာၐေ, နိဇကရံ ပြသာရယ; တတသ္တေန တထာ ကၖတ ဣတရကရဝတ် တသျ ဟသ္တး သွသ္ထောဘဝတ်၊
And when He had looked around at them all, He said to him, “Stretch out your hand!” So he did that, and his hand was restored, as sound as the other.
11 တသ္မာတ် တေ ပြစဏ္ဍကောပါနွိတာ ယီၑုံ ကိံ ကရိၐျန္တီတိ ပရသ္ပရံ ပြမန္တြိတား၊
But they were filled with rage, and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.
12 တတး ပရံ သ ပရွွတမာရုဟျေၑွရမုဒ္ဒိၑျ ပြာရ္ထယမာနး ကၖတ္သ္နာံ ရာတြိံ ယာပိတဝါန်၊
Now it happened in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and He continued all night in prayer to God.
13 အထ ဒိနေ သတိ သ သရွွာန် ၑိၐျာန် အာဟူတဝါန် တေၐာံ မဓျေ
When it was day He called His disciples, and from them He chose twelve, whom He also named apostles:
14 ပိတရနာမ္နာ ချာတး ၑိမောန် တသျ ဘြာတာ အာန္ဒြိယၑ္စ ယာကူဗ် ယောဟန် စ ဖိလိပ် ဗရ္ထလမယၑ္စ
Simon (whom He also named Peter) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Phillip and Bartholomew,
15 မထိး ထောမာ အာလ္ဖီယသျ ပုတြော ယာကူဗ် ဇွလန္တနာမ္နာ ချာတး ၑိမောန္
Matthew and Thomas, James (the son of Alphaeus) and Simon (the one called ‘Zealot’),
16 စ ယာကူဗော ဘြာတာ ယိဟူဒါၑ္စ တံ ယး ပရကရေၐု သမရ္ပယိၐျတိ သ ဤၐ္ကရီယောတီယယိဟူဒါၑ္စဲတာန် ဒွါဒၑ ဇနာန် မနောနီတာန် ကၖတွာ သ ဇဂြာဟ တထာ ပြေရိတ ဣတိ တေၐာံ နာမ စကာရ၊
Judas of James and Judas Iscariot (who also became ‘traitor’).
17 တတး ပရံ သ တဲး သဟ ပရွွတာဒဝရုဟျ ဥပတျကာယာံ တသ္ထော် တတသ္တသျ ၑိၐျသင်္ဃော ယိဟူဒါဒေၑာဒ် ယိရူၑာလမၑ္စ သောရး သီဒေါနၑ္စ ဇလဓေ ရောဓသော ဇနနိဟာၑ္စ ဧတျ တသျ ကထာၑြဝဏာရ္ထံ ရောဂမုက္တျရ္ထဉ္စ တသျ သမီပေ တသ္ထုး၊
Then He came down with them and stood on a level place, with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, also from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases,
18 အမေဓျဘူတဂြသ္တာၑ္စ တန္နိကဋမာဂတျ သွာသ္ထျံ ပြာပုး၊
as well as those who were being harassed by unclean spirits—and they were being healed!
19 သရွွေၐာံ သွာသ္ထျကရဏပြဘာဝသျ ပြကာၑိတတွာတ် သရွွေ လောကာ ဧတျ တံ သ္ပြၐ္ဋုံ ယေတိရေ၊
So the whole crowd kept trying to touch Him, because power was going out from Him and was healing all.
20 ပၑ္စာတ် သ ၑိၐျာန် ပြတိ ဒၖၐ္ဋိံ ကုတွာ ဇဂါဒ, ဟေ ဒရိဒြာ ယူယံ ဓနျာ ယတ ဤၑွရီယေ ရာဇျေ ဝေါ'ဓိကာရောသ္တိ၊
Then He raised His eyes toward His disciples and said: “Blessed are you poor, because the Kingdom of God is yours.
21 ဟေ အဓုနာ က္ၐုဓိတလောကာ ယူယံ ဓနျာ ယတော ယူယံ တရ္ပ္သျထ; ဟေ ဣဟ ရောဒိနော ဇနာ ယူယံ ဓနျာ ယတော ယူယံ ဟသိၐျထ၊
Blessed are you who hunger now, because you will be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, because you will laugh.
22 ယဒါ လောကာ မနုၐျသူနော ရ္နာမဟေတော ရျုၐ္မာန် ၒတီယိၐျန္တေ ပၖထက် ကၖတွာ နိန္ဒိၐျန္တိ, အဓမာနိဝ ယုၐ္မာန် သွသမီပါဒ် ဒူရီကရိၐျန္တိ စ တဒါ ယူယံ ဓနျား၊
Blessed are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and heap insults on you and trash your name as ‘malignant’, for the Son of the Man's sake.
23 သွရ္ဂေ ယုၐ္မာကံ ယထေၐ္ဋံ ဖလံ ဘဝိၐျတိ, ဧတဒရ္ထံ တသ္မိန် ဒိနေ ပြောလ္လသတ အာနန္ဒေန နၖတျတ စ, တေၐာံ ပူရွွပုရုၐာၑ္စ ဘဝိၐျဒွါဒိနး ပြတိ တထဲဝ ဝျဝါဟရန်၊
Rejoice in that day and skip about! Because your reward really is great in Heaven; for that is how their fathers treated the prophets.
24 ကိန္တု ဟာ ဟာ ဓနဝန္တော ယူယံ သုခံ ပြာပ္နုတ၊ ဟန္တ ပရိတၖပ္တာ ယူယံ က္ၐုဓိတာ ဘဝိၐျထ;
“But woe to you who are rich! because you have already received your comfort.
25 ဣဟ ဟသန္တော ယူယံ ဝတ ယုၐ္မာဘိး ၑောစိတဝျံ ရောဒိတဝျဉ္စ၊
Woe to you who are full! because you will go hungry. Woe to you who are presently laughing! because you will mourn and weep.
26 သရွွဲလာကဲ ရျုၐ္မာကံ သုချာတော် ကၖတာယာံ ယုၐ္မာကံ ဒုရ္ဂတိ ရ္ဘဝိၐျတိ ယုၐ္မာကံ ပူရွွပုရုၐာ မၖၐာဘဝိၐျဒွါဒိနး ပြတိ တဒွတ် ကၖတဝန္တး၊
Woe, when all men speak well of you; for that is how their fathers treated the false prophets!
27 ဟေ ၑြောတာရော ယုၐ္မဘျမဟံ ကထယာမိ, ယူယံ ၑတြုၐု ပြီယဓွံ ယေ စ ယုၐ္မာန် ဒွိၐန္တိ တေၐာမပိ ဟိတံ ကုရုတ၊
“Further, to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you;
28 ယေ စ ယုၐ္မာန် ၑပန္တိ တေဘျ အာၑိၐံ ဒတ္တ ယေ စ ယုၐ္မာန် အဝမနျန္တေ တေၐာံ မင်္ဂလံ ပြာရ္ထယဓွံ၊
bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
29 ယဒိ ကၑ္စိတ် တဝ ကပေါလေ စပေဋာဃာတံ ကရောတိ တရှိ တံ ပြတိ ကပေါလမ် အနျံ ပရာဝရ္တ္တျ သမ္မုခီကုရု ပုနၑ္စ ယဒိ ကၑ္စိတ် တဝ ဂါတြီယဝသ္တြံ ဟရတိ တရှိ တံ ပရိဓေယဝသ္တြမ် အပိ ဂြဟီတုံ မာ ဝါရယ၊
To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer also the other; and from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold the tunic as well.
30 ယသ္တွာံ ယာစတေ တသ္မဲ ဒေဟိ, ယၑ္စ တဝ သမ္ပတ္တိံ ဟရတိ တံ မာ ယာစသွ၊
Give to everyone who asks of you; and from him who takes away your things, do not demand them back.
31 ပရေဘျး သွာန် ပြတိ ယထာစရဏမ် အပေက္ၐဓွေ ပရာန် ပြတိ ယူယမပိ တထာစရတ၊
Yes, like you want people to treat you, that is just how you must treat them.
32 ယေ ဇနာ ယုၐ္မာသု ပြီယန္တေ ကေဝလံ တေၐု ပြီယမာဏေၐု ယုၐ္မာကံ ကိံ ဖလံ? ပါပိလောကာ အပိ သွေၐု ပြီယမာဏေၐု ပြီယန္တေ၊
Also, if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ love those who love them.
33 ယဒိ ဟိတကာရိဏ ဧဝ ဟိတံ ကုရုထ တရှိ ယုၐ္မာကံ ကိံ ဖလံ? ပါပိလောကာ အပိ တထာ ကုရွွန္တိ၊
And if you do good to those doing good to you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ do the same.
34 ယေဘျ ၒဏပရိၑောဓသျ ပြာပ္တိပြတျာၑာသ္တေ ကေဝလံ တေၐု ၒဏေ သမရ္ပိတေ ယုၐ္မာကံ ကိံ ဖလံ? ပုနး ပြာပ္တျာၑယာ ပါပီလောကာ အပိ ပါပိဇနေၐု ၒဏမ် အရ္ပယန္တိ၊
And if you lend to those from whom you expect to get it back, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ lend to ‘sinners’, to receive an equal value back.
35 အတော ယူယံ ရိပုၐွပိ ပြီယဓွံ, ပရဟိတံ ကုရုတ စ; ပုနး ပြာပ္တျာၑာံ တျက္တွာ ၒဏမရ္ပယတ, တထာ ကၖတေ ယုၐ္မာကံ မဟာဖလံ ဘဝိၐျတိ, ယူယဉ္စ သရွွပြဓာနသျ သန္တာနာ ဣတိ ချာတိံ ပြာပ္သျထ, ယတော ယုၐ္မာကံ ပိတာ ကၖတဃ္နာနာံ ဒုရွ္ဋတ္တာနာဉ္စ ဟိတမာစရတိ၊
“So, love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; because He is kind toward the ungrateful and wicked.
36 အတ ဧဝ သ ယထာ ဒယာလု ရျူယမပိ တာဒၖၑာ ဒယာလဝေါ ဘဝတ၊
So be compassionate, even as your Father is compassionate.
37 အပရဉ္စ ပရာန် ဒေါၐိဏော မာ ကုရုတ တသ္မာဒ် ယူယံ ဒေါၐီကၖတာ န ဘဝိၐျထ; အဒဏ္ဍျာန် မာ ဒဏ္ဍယတ တသ္မာဒ် ယူယမပိ ဒဏ္ဍံ န ပြာပ္သျထ; ပရေၐာံ ဒေါၐာန် က္ၐမဓွံ တသ္မာဒ် ယုၐ္မာကမပိ ဒေါၐား က္ၐမိၐျန္တေ၊
“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
38 ဒါနာနိဒတ္တ တသ္မာဒ် ယူယံ ဒါနာနိ ပြာပ္သျထ, ဝရဉ္စ လောကား ပရိမာဏပါတြံ ပြဒလယျ သဉ္စာလျ ပြောဉ္စာလျ ပရိပူရျျ ယုၐ္မာကံ ကြောဍေၐု သမရ္ပယိၐျန္တိ; ယူယံ ယေန ပရိမာဏေန ပရိမာထ တေနဲဝ ပရိမာဏေန ယုၐ္မတ္ကၖတေ ပရိမာသျတေ၊
Give and it will be given to you: a good measure—pressed down and shaken together and running over—will they deposit in your lap. Because with the same measure that you use it will be measured back to you.”
39 အထ သ တေဘျော ဒၖၐ္ဋာန္တကထာမကထယတ်, အန္ဓော ဇနး ကိမန္ဓံ ပန္ထာနံ ဒရ္ၑယိတုံ ၑက္နောတိ? တသ္မာဒ် ဥဘာဝပိ ကိံ ဂရ္တ္တေ န ပတိၐျတး?
Then He told them a parable: “Can a blind man guide a blind man? Will they not both fall into a ditch?
40 ဂုရေား ၑိၐျော န ၑြေၐ္ဌး ကိန္တု ၑိၐျေ သိဒ္ဓေ သတိ သ ဂုရုတုလျော ဘဝိတုံ ၑက္နောတိ၊
A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher.
41 အပရဉ္စ တွံ သွစက္ၐုၐိ နာသာမ် အဒၖၐ္ဋွာ တဝ ဘြာတုၑ္စက္ၐုၐိ ယတ္တၖဏမသ္တိ တဒေဝ ကုတး ပၑျမိ?
Why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank that is in your own eye?
42 သွစက္ၐုၐိ ယာ နာသာ ဝိဒျတေ တာမ် အဇ္ဉာတွာ, ဘြာတသ္တဝ နေတြာတ် တၖဏံ ဗဟိး ကရောမီတိ ဝါကျံ ဘြာတရံ ကထံ ဝက္တုံ ၑက္နောၐိ? ဟေ ကပဋိန် ပူရွွံ သွနယနာတ် နာသာံ ဗဟိး ကုရု တတော ဘြာတုၑ္စက္ၐုၐသ္တၖဏံ ဗဟိး ကရ္တ္တုံ သုဒၖၐ္ဋိံ ပြာပ္သျသိ၊
Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother's eye.
43 အနျဉ္စ ဥတ္တမသ္တရုး ကဒါပိ ဖလမနုတ္တမံ န ဖလတိ, အနုတ္တမတရုၑ္စ ဖလမုတ္တမံ န ဖလတိ ကာရဏာဒတး ဖလဲသ္တရဝေါ ဇ္ဉာယန္တေ၊
“Now no good tree produces rotten fruit, nor does a rotten tree produce good fruit
44 ကဏ္ဋကိပါဒပါတ် ကောပိ ဥဍုမ္ဗရဖလာနိ န ပါတယတိ တထာ ၑၖဂါလကောလိဝၖက္ၐာဒပိ ကောပိ ဒြာက္ၐာဖလံ န ပါတယတိ၊
—each tree is known by its own fruit: people do not gather figs from thorn bushes, nor do they pick a bunch of grapes from a bramble.
45 တဒွတ် သာဓုလောကော'န္တးကရဏရူပါတ် သုဘာဏ္ဍာဂါရာဒ် ဥတ္တမာနိ ဒြဝျာဏိ ဗဟိး ကရောတိ, ဒုၐ္ဋော လောကၑ္စာန္တးကရဏရူပါတ် ကုဘာဏ္ဍာဂါရာတ် ကုတ္သိတာနိ ဒြဝျာဏိ နိရ္ဂမယတိ ယတော'န္တးကရဏာနာံ ပူရ္ဏဘာဝါနုရူပါဏိ ဝစာံသိ မုခါန္နိရ္ဂစ္ဆန္တိ၊
The good man produces the good out of the good treasure in his heart, and the malignant man produces the malignant out of the malignant treasure in his heart; because his mouth speaks out of the abundance of the heart.
46 အပရဉ္စ မမာဇ္ဉာနုရူပံ နာစရိတွာ ကုတော မာံ ပြဘော ပြဘော ဣတိ ဝဒထ?
“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord’, and not do what I say?
47 ယး ကၑ္စိန် မမ နိကဋမ် အာဂတျ မမ ကထာ နိၑမျ တဒနုရူပံ ကရ္မ္မ ကရောတိ သ ကသျ သဒၖၑော ဘဝတိ တဒဟံ ယုၐ္မာန် ဇ္ဉာပယာမိ၊
Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them—I will show you who he is like:
48 ယော ဇနော ဂဘီရံ ခနိတွာ ပါၐာဏသ္ထလေ ဘိတ္တိံ နိရ္မ္မာယ သွဂၖဟံ ရစယတိ တေန သဟ တသျောပမာ ဘဝတိ; ယတ အာပ္လာဝိဇလမေတျ တသျ မူလေ ဝေဂေန ဝဟဒပိ တဒ္ဂေဟံ လာဍယိတုံ န ၑက္နောတိ ယတသ္တသျ ဘိတ္တိး ပါၐာဏောပရိ တိၐ္ဌတိ၊
he is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on the bedrock. When a flood occurred, the torrent burst upon that house but could not shake it, because it was founded on the bedrock.
49 ကိန္တု ယး ကၑ္စိန် မမ ကထား ၑြုတွာ တဒနုရူပံ နာစရတိ သ ဘိတ္တိံ ဝိနာ မၖဒုပရိ ဂၖဟနိရ္မ္မာတြာ သမာနော ဘဝတိ; ယတ အာပ္လာဝိဇလမာဂတျ ဝေဂေန ယဒါ ဝဟတိ တဒါ တဒ္ဂၖဟံ ပတတိ တသျ မဟတ် ပတနံ ဇာယတေ၊
But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built his house on the ground without a foundation, against which the torrent burst, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”
