လူကး 23
1 တတး သဘာသ္ထား သရွွလောကာ ဥတ္ထာယ တံ ပီလာတသမ္မုခံ နီတွာပြောဒျ ဝက္တုမာရေဘိရေ,
And having risen, the whole company of them led him to Pilate.
2 သွမဘိၐိက္တံ ရာဇာနံ ဝဒန္တံ ကဲမရရာဇာယ ကရဒါနံ နိၐေဓန္တံ ရာဇျဝိပရျျယံ ကုရ္တ္တုံ ပြဝရ္တ္တမာနမ် ဧန ပြာပ္တာ ဝယံ၊
And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this man perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying himself to be Christ, a king.
3 တဒါ ပီလာတသ္တံ ပၖၐ္ဋဝါန် တွံ ကိံ ယိဟူဒီယာနာံ ရာဇာ? သ ပြတျုဝါစ တွံ သတျမုက္တဝါန်၊
And Pilate questioned him, saying, Are thou the king of the Jews? And having answered him, he said, Thou say.
4 တဒါ ပီလာတး ပြဓာနယာဇကာဒိလောကာန် ဇဂါဒ်, အဟမေတသျ ကမပျပရာဓံ နာပ္တဝါန်၊
And Pilate said to the chief priests and the multitudes, I find nothing guilty in this man.
5 တတသ္တေ ပုနး သာဟမိနော ဘူတွာဝဒန်, ဧၐ ဂါလီလ ဧတတ္သ္ထာနပရျျန္တေ သရွွသ္မိန် ယိဟူဒါဒေၑေ သရွွာလ္လောကာနုပဒိၑျ ကုပြဝၖတ္တိံ ဂြာဟီတဝါန်၊
But they were emphatic, saying, He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, having begun from Galilee as far as here.
6 တဒါ ပီလာတော ဂါလီလပြဒေၑသျ နာမ ၑြုတွာ ပပြစ္ဆ, ကိမယံ ဂါလီလီယော လောကး?
And when Pilate heard Galilee, he questioned if the man is a Galilean.
7 တတး သ ဂါလီလ္ပြဒေၑီယဟေရောဒြာဇသျ တဒါ သ္ထိတေသ္တသျ သမီပေ ယီၑုံ ပြေၐယာမာသ၊
And when he perceived that he is from Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was himself also in Jerusalem in these days.
8 တဒါ ဟေရောဒ် ယီၑုံ ဝိလောကျ သန္တုတောၐ, ယတး သ တသျ ဗဟုဝၖတ္တာန္တၑြဝဏာတ် တသျ ကိဉိစဒါၑ္စရျျကရ္မ္မ ပၑျတိ ဣတျာၑာံ ကၖတွာ ဗဟုကာလမာရဘျ တံ ဒြၐ္ဋုံ ပြယာသံ ကၖတဝါန်၊
Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad, for he was wanting of a considerable time to see him, because of hearing many things about him, and he hoped to see some sign happening by him.
9 တသ္မာတ် တံ ဗဟုကထား ပပြစ္ဆ ကိန္တု သ တသျ ကသျာပိ ဝါကျသျ ပြတျုတ္တရံ နောဝါစ၊
And he interrogated him in considerable words, but he answered him nothing.
10 အထ ပြဓာနယာဇကာ အဓျာပကာၑ္စ ပြောတ္တိၐ္ဌန္တး သာဟသေန တမပဝဒိတုံ ပြာရေဘိရေ၊
And the chief priests and the scholars had stood, vehemently accusing him.
11 ဟေရောဒ် တသျ သေနာဂဏၑ္စ တမဝဇ္ဉာယ ဥပဟာသတွေန ရာဇဝသ္တြံ ပရိဓာပျ ပုနး ပီလာတံ ပြတိ တံ ပြာဟိဏောတ်၊
But Herod having disdained him with his soldiers, and having mocked him, having arraying him in a bright robe, he sent him back to Pilate.
12 ပူရွွံ ဟေရောဒ္ပီလာတယေား ပရသ္ပရံ ဝဲရဘာဝ အာသီတ် ကိန္တု တဒ္ဒိနေ ဒွယော ရ္မေလနံ ဇာတမ်၊
And both Pilate and Herod became friends with each other on the same day, for they were formerly being at enmity toward themselves.
13 ပၑ္စာတ် ပီလာတး ပြဓာနယာဇကာန် ၑာသကာန် လောကာံၑ္စ ယုဂပဒါဟူယ ဗဘာၐေ,
And Pilate having called together the chief priests, and the rulers, and the people,
14 ရာဇျဝိပရျျယကာရကောယမ် ဣတျုက္တွာ မနုၐျမေနံ မမ နိကဋမာနဲၐ္ဋ ကိန္တု ပၑျတ ယုၐ္မာကံ သမက္ၐမ် အသျ ဝိစာရံ ကၖတွာပိ ပြောက္တာပဝါဒါနုရူပေဏာသျ ကောပျပရာဓး သပြမာဏော န ဇာတး,
said to them, Ye brought this man to me as turning away the people. And behold, I, having examined him before you, found nothing guilty in this man of what ye accuse against him.
15 ယူယဉ္စ ဟေရောဒး သန္နိဓော် ပြေၐိတာ မယာ တတြာသျ ကောပျပရာဓသ္တေနာပိ န ပြာပ္တး၊ ပၑျတာနေန ဝဓဟေတုကံ ကိမပိ နာပရာဒ္ဓံ၊
But not even Herod, for I sent you back to him, and lo, nothing having been done by him is worthy of death.
16 တသ္မာဒေနံ တာဍယိတွာ ဝိဟာသျာမိ၊
Therefore, having scourged I will release him.
17 တတြောတ္သဝေ တေၐာမေကော မောစယိတဝျး၊
Now he had need to release one man to them at every feast.
18 ဣတိ ဟေတောသ္တေ ပြောစ္စဲရေကဒါ ပြောစုး, ဧနံ ဒူရီကၖတျ ဗရဗ္ဗာနာမာနံ မောစယ၊
But they cried out all together, saying, Take away this man, and release to us Barabbas
19 သ ဗရဗ္ဗာ နဂရ ဥပပ္လဝဝဓာပရာဓာဘျာံ ကာရာယာံ ဗဒ္ဓ အာသီတ်၊
(a man who was cast into prison because of a certain insurrection that occurred in the city, and for murder).
20 ကိန္တု ပီလာတော ယီၑုံ မောစယိတုံ ဝါဉ္ဆန် ပုနသ္တာနုဝါစ၊
Again therefore Pilate called out wanting to release Jesus,
21 တထာပျေနံ ကြုၑေ ဝျဓ ကြုၑေ ဝျဓေတိ ဝဒန္တသ္တေ ရုရုဝုး၊
but they shouted, saying, Crucify, crucify him.
22 တတး သ တၖတီယဝါရံ ဇဂါဒ ကုတး? သ ကိံ ကရ္မ္မ ကၖတဝါန်? နာဟမသျ ကမပိ ဝဓာပရာဓံ ပြာပ္တး ကေဝလံ တာဍယိတွာမုံ တျဇာမိ၊
And he said to them a third time, For what evil did this man do? I have found nothing guilty of death in him. I will therefore, having scourged, release him.
23 တထာပိ တေ ပုနရေနံ ကြုၑေ ဝျဓ ဣတျုက္တွာ ပြောစ္စဲရ္ဒၖဎံ ပြာရ္ထယာဉ္စကြိရေ;
But they were relentless with loud voices demanding him to be crucified. And their voices and those of the chief priests prevailed.
24 တတး ပြဓာနယာဇကာဒီနာံ ကလရဝေ ပြဗလေ သတိ တေၐာံ ပြာရ္ထနာရူပံ ကရ္တ္တုံ ပီလာတ အာဒိဒေၑ၊
And Pilate decreed their request to happen.
25 ရာဇဒြောဟဝဓယောရပရာဓေန ကာရာသ္ထံ ယံ ဇနံ တေ ယယာစိရေ တံ မောစယိတွာ ယီၑုံ တေၐာမိစ္ဆာယာံ သမာရ္ပယတ်၊
And he released the man who had been cast into prison because of insurrection and murder, whom they asked for, but he delivered Jesus to their will.
26 အထ တေ ယီၑုံ ဂၖဟီတွာ ယာန္တိ, ဧတရှိ ဂြာမာဒါဂတံ ၑိမောနနာမာနံ ကုရီဏီယံ ဇနံ ဓၖတွာ ယီၑေား ပၑ္စာန္နေတုံ တသျ သ္ကန္ဓေ ကြုၑမရ္ပယာမာသုး၊
And when they led him away, having taken hold of a certain Simon, a Cyrenian coming from the countryside, they laid the cross on him to bring behind Jesus.
27 တတော လောကာရဏျမဓျေ ဗဟုသ္တြိယော ရုဒတျော ဝိလပန္တျၑ္စ ယီၑေား ပၑ္စာဒ် ယယုး၊
And a great multitude of the people followed him, and also of women who bewailed and lamented him.
28 ကိန္တု သ ဝျာဃုဋျ တာ ဥဝါစ, ဟေ ယိရူၑာလမော နာရျျော ယုယံ မဒရ္ထံ န ရုဒိတွာ သွာရ္ထံ သွာပတျာရ္ထဉ္စ ရုဒိတိ;
But having turning to them, Jesus said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, instead weep for yourselves and for your children.
29 ပၑျတ ယး ကဒါပိ ဂရ္ဘဝတျော နာဘဝန် သ္တနျဉ္စ နာပါယယန် တာဒၖၑီ ရွန္ဓျာ ယဒါ ဓနျာ ဝက္ၐျန္တိ သ ကာလ အာယာတိ၊
Because, behold, the days are coming, during which they will say, Blessed are the barren, and the bellies that gave no birth, and the breasts that did not suckle.
30 တဒါ ဟေ ၑဲလာ အသ္မာကမုပရိ ပတတ, ဟေ ဥပၑဲလာ အသ္မာနာစ္ဆာဒယတ ကထာမီဒၖၑီံ လောကာ ဝက္ၐျန္တိ၊
Then they will begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us, and to the hills, Cover us.
31 ယတး သတေဇသိ ၑာခိနိ စေဒေတဒ် ဃဋတေ တရှိ ၑုၐ္ကၑာခိနိ ကိံ န ဃဋိၐျတေ?
Because if they do these things in the green tree, what will happen in the dry?
32 တဒါ တေ ဟန္တုံ ဒွါဝပရာဓိနော် တေန သာရ္ဒ္ဓံ နိနျုး၊
And two other men, malefactors, were also led with him to be executed.
33 အပရံ ၑိရးကပါလနာမကသ္ထာနံ ပြာပျ တံ ကြုၑေ ဝိဝိဓုး; တဒ္ဒွယောရပရာဓိနောရေကံ တသျ ဒက္ၐိဏော တဒနျံ ဝါမေ ကြုၑေ ဝိဝိဓုး၊
And when they came to the place called Skull, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one at the right hand and the other at the left.
34 တဒါ ယီၑုရကထယတ်, ဟေ ပိတရေတာန် က္ၐမသွ ယတ ဧတေ ယတ် ကရ္မ္မ ကုရွွန္တိ တန် န ဝိဒုး; ပၑ္စာတ္တေ ဂုဋိကာပါတံ ကၖတွာ တသျ ဝသ္တြာဏိ ဝိဘဇျ ဇဂၖဟုး၊
And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing. And dividing his garments, they cast a lot.
35 တတြ လောကသံဃသ္တိၐ္ဌန် ဒဒရ္ၑ; တေ တေၐာံ ၑာသကာၑ္စ တမုပဟသျ ဇဂဒုး, ဧၐ ဣတရာန် ရက္ၐိတဝါန် ယဒီၑွရေဏာဘိရုစိတော 'ဘိၐိက္တသ္တြာတာ ဘဝတိ တရှိ သွမဓုနာ ရက္ၐတု၊
And the people had stood watching. And also the rulers with them sneered, saying, He saved others. He should save himself, if this is the Christ, the chosen of God.
36 တဒနျး သေနာဂဏာ ဧတျ တသ္မဲ အမ္လရသံ ဒတွာ ပရိဟသျ ပြောဝါစ,
And the soldiers also mocked him, approaching, and bringing him vinegar,
37 စေတ္တွံ ယိဟူဒီယာနာံ ရာဇာသိ တရှိ သွံ ရက္ၐ၊
and saying, If thou are the king of the Jews, save thyself.
38 ယိဟူဒီယာနာံ ရာဇေတိ ဝါကျံ ယူနာနီယရောမီယေဗြီယာက္ၐရဲ ရ္လိခိတံ တစ္ဆိရသ ဦရ္ဒ္ဓွေ'သ္ထာပျတ၊
And there was also an inscription over him written in letters, in Greek and Latin and Hebrew: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
39 တဒေါဘယပါရ္ၑွယော ရွိဒ္ဓေါ် ယာဝပရာဓိနော် တယောရေကသ္တံ ဝိနိန္ဒျ ဗဘာၐေ, စေတ္တွမ် အဘိၐိက္တောသိ တရှိ သွမာဝါဉ္စ ရက္ၐ၊
And one of the malefactors who were hanged railed him, saying, If thou are the Christ, save thyself and us.
40 ကိန္တွနျသ္တံ တရ္ဇယိတွာဝဒတ်, ဤၑွရာတ္တဝ ကိဉ္စိဒပိ ဘယံ နာသ္တိ ကိံ? တွမပိ သမာနဒဏ္ဍောသိ,
But the other man having answered, rebuking him, saying, Thou fear not even God, since thou are in the same condemnation?
41 ယောဂျပါတြေ အာဝါံ သွသွကရ္မ္မဏာံ သမုစိတဖလံ ပြာပ္နုဝး ကိန္တွနေန ကိမပိ နာပရာဒ္ဓံ၊
And we indeed justly, for we receive worthy of what we did, but this man did nothing amiss.
42 အထ သ ယီၑုံ ဇဂါဒ ဟေ ပြဘေ ဘဝါန် သွရာဇျပြဝေၑကာလေ မာံ သ္မရတု၊
And he said to Jesus, Remember me, Lord, when thou come into thy kingdom.
43 တဒါ ယီၑုး ကထိတဝါန် တွာံ ယထာရ္ထံ ဝဒါမိ တွမဒျဲဝ မယာ သာရ္ဒ္ဓံ ပရလောကသျ သုခသ္ထာနံ ပြာပ္သျသိ၊
And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to thee, today thou will be with me in the paradise.
44 အပရဉ္စ ဒွိတီယယာမာတ် တၖတီယယာမပရျျန္တံ ရဝေသ္တေဇသောန္တရှိတတွာတ် သရွွဒေၑော'န္ဓကာရေဏာဝၖတော
And it was about the sixth hour, and darkness occurred over the whole land until the ninth hour.
45 မန္ဒိရသျ ယဝနိကာ စ ဆိဒျမာနာ ဒွိဓာ ဗဘူဝ၊
And the sun was darkened, and the curtain of the temple was torn in the middle.
46 တတော ယီၑုရုစ္စဲရုဝါစ, ဟေ ပိတ ရ္မမာတ္မာနံ တဝ ကရေ သမရ္ပယေ, ဣတျုက္တွာ သ ပြာဏာန် ဇဟော်၊
And Jesus, having sounded out in a great voice, said, Father, into thy hands I entrust my spirit. And having said these things, he expired.
47 တဒဲတာ ဃဋနာ ဒၖၐ္ဋွာ ၑတသေနာပတိရီၑွရံ ဓနျမုက္တွာ ကထိတဝါန် အယံ နိတာန္တံ သာဓုမနုၐျ အာသီတ်၊
And when the centurion saw that which happened, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this man was righteous.
48 အထ ယာဝန္တော လောကာ ဒြၐ္ဋုမ် အာဂတာသ္တေ တာ ဃဋနာ ဒၖၐ္ဋွာ ဝက္ၐးသု ကရာဃာတံ ကၖတွာ ဝျာစုဋျ ဂတား၊
And all the multitudes who came together to this scene, watching that which happened, turned back, beating their breasts.
49 ယီၑော ရ္ဇ္ဉာတယော ယာ ယာ ယောၐိတၑ္စ ဂါလီလသ္တေန သာရ္ဒ္ဓမာယာတာသ္တာ အပိ ဒူရေ သ္ထိတွာ တတ် သရွွံ ဒဒၖၑုး၊
And all his acquaintances, and the women who accompanied him from Galilee, had stood from afar, seeing these things.
50 တဒါ ယိဟူဒီယာနာံ မန္တြဏာံ ကြိယာဉ္စာသမ္မနျမာန ဤၑွရသျ ရာဇတွမ် အပေက္ၐမာဏော
And behold a man named Joseph, a council member, being a good and righteous man
51 ယိဟူဒိဒေၑီယော 'ရိမထီယနဂရီယော ယူၐဖ္နာမာ မန္တြီ ဘဒြော ဓာရ္မ္မိကၑ္စ ပုမာန္
(this man not having consented to their purpose and deed), was from Arimathaea, a city of the Jews, who also himself awaited the kingdom of God.
52 ပီလာတာန္တိကံ ဂတွာ ယီၑော ရ္ဒေဟံ ယယာစေ၊
This man having gone to Pilate, requested the body of Jesus.
53 ပၑ္စာဒ် ဝပုရဝရောဟျ ဝါသသာ သံဝေၐ္ဋျ ယတြ ကောပိ မာနုၐော နာသ္ထာပျတ တသ္မိန် ၑဲလေ သွာတေ ၑ္မၑာနေ တဒသ္ထာပယတ်၊
And having taken it down, he wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulcher cut in rock, of which no man was yet lain.
54 တဒ္ဒိနမာယောဇနီယံ ဒိနံ ဝိၑြာမဝါရၑ္စ သမီပး၊
And the day was Preparation; sabbath was beginning.
55 အပရံ ယီၑုနာ သာရ္ဒ္ဓံ ဂါလီလ အာဂတာ ယောၐိတး ပၑ္စာဒိတွာ ၑ္မၑာနေ တတြ ယထာ ဝပုး သ္ထာပိတံ တစ္စ ဒၖၐ္ဋွာ
And having followed closely, the women who were gathered to him out of Galilee, they saw the sepulcher, and how his body was laid.
56 ဝျာဃုဋျ သုဂန္ဓိဒြဝျတဲလာနိ ကၖတွာ ဝိဓိဝဒ် ဝိၑြာမဝါရေ ဝိၑြာမံ စကြုး၊
And having returned, they prepared spices and ointments. And they indeed rested on the sabbath according to the commandment.
