1 ယဒါ ယီၑု ရျိရီဟောပုရံ ပြဝိၑျ တန္မဓျေန ဂစ္ဆံသ္တဒါ
He entered and was passing through Jericho [Fragrant, Moon].
2 သက္ကေယနာမာ ကရသဉ္စာယိနာံ ပြဓာနော ဓနဝါနေကော
There was a man named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector, and he was rich.
3 ယီၑုး ကီဒၖဂိတိ ဒြၐ္ဋုံ စေၐ္ဋိတဝါန် ကိန္တု ခရွွတွာလ္လောကသံဃမဓျေ တဒ္ဒရ္ၑနမပြာပျ
He was trying to see who Yeshua [Salvation] was, and couldn’t because of the crowd, because he was short.
4 ယေန ပထာ သ ယာသျတိ တတ္ပထေ'ဂြေ ဓာဝိတွာ တံ ဒြၐ္ဋုမ် ဥဍုမ္ဗရတရုမာရုရောဟ၊
He ran on ahead, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was going to pass that way.
5 ပၑ္စာဒ် ယီၑုသ္တတ္သ္ထာနမ် ဣတွာ ဦရ္ဒ္ဓွံ ဝိလောကျ တံ ဒၖၐ္ဋွာဝါဒီတ်, ဟေ သက္ကေယ တွံ ၑီဃြမဝရောဟ မယာဒျ တွဒ္ဂေဟေ ဝသ္တဝျံ၊
When Yeshua [Salvation] came to the place, he looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.”
6 တတး သ ၑီဃြမဝရုဟျ သာဟ္လာဒံ တံ ဇဂြာဟ၊
He hurried, came down, and received him joyfully.
7 တဒ် ဒၖၐ္ဋွာ သရွွေ ဝိဝဒမာနာ ဝက္တုမာရေဘိရေ, သောတိထိတွေန ဒုၐ္ဋလောကဂၖဟံ ဂစ္ဆတိ၊
When they saw it, they all murmured, saying, “He has gone in to lodge with a man who is a sinner.”
8 ကိန္တု သက္ကေယော ဒဏ္ဍာယမာနော ဝက္တုမာရေဘေ, ဟေ ပြဘော ပၑျ မမ ယာ သမ္ပတ္တိရသ္တိ တဒရ္ဒ္ဓံ ဒရိဒြေဘျော ဒဒေ, အပရမ် အနျာယံ ကၖတွာ ကသ္မာဒပိ ယဒိ ကဒါပိ ကိဉ္စိတ် မယာ ဂၖဟီတံ တရှိ တစ္စတုရ္ဂုဏံ ဒဒါမိ၊
Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much.”
9 တဒါ ယီၑုသ္တမုက္တဝါန် အယမပိ ဣဗြာဟီမး သန္တာနော'တး ကာရဏာဒ် အဒျာသျ ဂၖဟေ တြာဏမုပသ္ထိတံ၊
Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Today, yishu'ah ·salvation· has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham [Father of a multitude].
10 ယဒ် ဟာရိတံ တတ် မၖဂယိတုံ ရက္ၐိတုဉ္စ မနုၐျပုတြ အာဂတဝါန်၊
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.”
11 အထ သ ယိရူၑာလမး သမီပ ဥပါတိၐ္ဌဒ် ဤၑွရရာဇတွသျာနုၐ္ဌာနံ တဒဲဝ ဘဝိၐျတီတိ လောကဲရနွဘူယတ, တသ္မာတ် သ ၑြောတၖဘျး ပုနရ္ဒၖၐ္ဋာန္တကထာမ် ဥတ္ထာပျ ကထယာမာသ၊
As they heard these things, he went on and told a parable, because he was near Jerusalem [City of peace], and they supposed that God’s Kingdom would be revealed immediately.
12 ကောပိ မဟာလ္လောကော နိဇာရ္ထံ ရာဇတွပဒံ ဂၖဟီတွာ ပုနရာဂန္တုံ ဒူရဒေၑံ ဇဂါမ၊
He said therefore, “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to teshuvah ·completely return·.
13 ယာတြာကာလေ နိဇာန် ဒၑဒါသာန် အာဟူယ ဒၑသွရ္ဏမုဒြာ ဒတ္တွာ မမာဂမနပရျျန္တံ ဝါဏိဇျံ ကုရုတေတျာဒိဒေၑ၊
He called ten servants of his, and gave them ten mina [500 sheckles; 12.5 lb; 5.67 kg] coins, and told them, ‘Conduct business until I come.’
14 ကိန္တု တသျ ပြဇာသ္တမဝဇ္ဉာယ မနုၐျမေနမ် အသ္မာကမုပရိ ရာဇတွံ န ကာရယိဝျာမ ဣမာံ ဝါရ္တ္တာံ တန္နိကဋေ ပြေရယာမာသုး၊
But his citizens hated him, and sent an envoy after him, saying, ‘We don’t want this man to reign over us.’
15 အထ သ ရာဇတွပဒံ ပြာပျာဂတဝါန် ဧကဲကော ဇနော ဗာဏိဇျေန ကိံ လဗ္ဓဝါန် ဣတိ ဇ္ဉာတုံ ယေၐု ဒါသေၐု မုဒြာ အရ္ပယတ် တာန် အာဟူယာနေတုမ် အာဒိဒေၑ၊
“When he had come back again, having received the kingdom, he commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by conducting business.
16 တဒါ ပြထမ အာဂတျ ကထိတဝါန်, ဟေ ပြဘော တဝ တယဲကယာ မုဒြယာ ဒၑမုဒြာ လဗ္ဓား၊
The first came before him, saying, ‘Lord, your mina [50 sheckles; 1.25 lb; 0.57 kg] has made ten more minas [500 sheckles; 12.5 lb; 5.67 kg].’
17 တတး သ ဥဝါစ တွမုတ္တမော ဒါသး သွလ္ပေန ဝိၑွာသျော ဇာတ ဣတး ကာရဏာတ် တွံ ဒၑနဂရာဏာမ် အဓိပေါ ဘဝ၊
“He said to him, ‘Well done, you good servant! Because you were found faithful with very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’
18 ဒွိတီယ အာဂတျ ကထိတဝါန်, ဟေ ပြဘော တဝဲကယာ မုဒြယာ ပဉ္စမုဒြာ လဗ္ဓား၊
“The second came, saying, ‘Your mina [50 sheckles; 1.25 lb; 0.57 kg], Lord, has made five minas [250 sheckles; 6.25 lb; 2.835 kg].’
19 တတး သ ဥဝါစ, တွံ ပဉ္စာနာံ နဂရာဏာမဓိပတိ ရ္ဘဝ၊
“So he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’
20 တတောနျ အာဂတျ ကထယာမာသ, ဟေ ပြဘော ပၑျ တဝ ယာ မုဒြာ အဟံ ဝသ္တြေ ဗဒ္ဓွာသ္ထာပယံ သေယံ၊
Another came, saying, ‘Lord, behold, your mina [50 sheckles; 1.25 lb; 0.57 kg], which I kept laid away in a handkerchief,
21 တွံ ကၖပဏော ယန္နာသ္ထာပယသ္တဒပိ ဂၖဟ္လာသိ, ယန္နာဝပသ္တဒေဝ စ ဆိနတ္သိ တတောဟံ တွတ္တော ဘီတး၊
for I feared you, because you are an exacting man. You take up that which you didn’t lay down, and reap that which you didn’t sow.’
22 တဒါ သ ဇဂါဒ, ရေ ဒုၐ္ဋဒါသ တဝ ဝါကျေန တွာံ ဒေါၐိဏံ ကရိၐျာမိ, ယဒဟံ နာသ္ထာပယံ တဒေဝ ဂၖဟ္လာမိ, ယဒဟံ နာဝပဉ္စ တဒေဝ ဆိနဒ္မိ, ဧတာဒၖၑး ကၖပဏောဟမိတိ ယဒိ တွံ ဇာနာသိ,
“He said to him, ‘Out of your own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant! You knew that I am an exacting man, taking up that which I didn’t lay down, and reaping that which I didn’t sow.
23 တရှိ မမ မုဒြာ ဗဏိဇာံ နိကဋေ ကုတော နာသ္ထာပယး? တယာ ကၖတေ'ဟမ် အာဂတျ ကုသီဒေန သာရ္ဒ္ဓံ နိဇမုဒြာ အပြာပ္သျမ်၊
Then why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank, and at my coming, I might have earned interest on it?’
24 ပၑ္စာတ် သ သမီပသ္ထာန် ဇနာန် အာဇ္ဉာပယတ် အသ္မာတ် မုဒြာ အာနီယ ယသျ ဒၑမုဒြား သန္တိ တသ္မဲ ဒတ္တ၊
He said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina [50 sheckles; 1.25 lb; 0.57 kg] away from him, and give it to him who has the ten minas [500 sheckles; 12.5 lb; 5.67 kg].’
25 တေ ပြောစုး ပြဘော'သျ ဒၑမုဒြား သန္တိ၊
“They said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten minas!’
26 ယုၐ္မာနဟံ ဝဒါမိ ယသျာၑြယေ ဝဒ္ဓတေ 'ဓိကံ တသ္မဲ ဒါယိၐျတေ, ကိန္တု ယသျာၑြယေ န ဝရ္ဒ္ဓတေ တသျ ယဒျဒသ္တိ တဒပိ တသ္မာန် နာယိၐျတေ၊
‘For I tell you that to everyone who has, will more be given; but from him who does not have, even that which he has will be taken away from him.
27 ကိန္တု မမာဓိပတိတွသျ ဝၑတွေ သ္ထာတုမ် အသမ္မနျမာနာ ယေ မမ ရိပဝသ္တာနာနီယ မမ သမက္ၐံ သံဟရတ၊
But bring those enemies of mine who didn’t want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.’”
28 ဣတျုပဒေၑကထာံ ကထယိတွာ သောဂြဂး သန် ယိရူၑာလမပုရံ ယယော်၊
Having said these things, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem [City of peace].
29 တတော ဗဲတ္ဖဂီဗဲထနီယာဂြာမယေား သမီပေ ဇဲတုနာဒြေရန္တိကမ် ဣတွာ ၑိၐျဒွယမ် ဣတျုက္တွာ ပြေၐယာမာသ,
When he came near to Bethsphage and Bethany [House of affliction], at the mountain that is called Olivet, he sent two of his disciples,
30 ယုဝါမမုံ သမ္မုခသ္ထဂြာမံ ပြဝိၑျဲဝ ယံ ကောပိ မာနုၐး ကဒါပိ နာရောဟတ် တံ ဂရ္ဒ္ဒဘၑာဝကံ ဗဒ္ဓံ ဒြက္ၐျထသ္တံ မောစယိတွာနယတံ၊
saying, “Go your way into the village on the other side, in which, as you enter, you will find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat. Untie it, and bring it.
31 တတြ ကုတော မောစယထး? ဣတိ စေတ် ကောပိ ဝက္ၐျတိ တရှိ ဝက္ၐျထး ပြဘေရတြ ပြယောဇနမ် အာသ္တေ၊
If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say to him: ‘The Lord needs it.’”
32 တဒါ တော် ပြရိတော် ဂတွာ တတ္ကထာနုသာရေဏ သရွွံ ပြာပ္တော်၊
Those who were sent went away, and found things just as he had told them.
33 ဂရ္ဒဘၑာဝကမောစနကာလေ တတွာမိန ဦစုး, ဂရ္ဒဘၑာဝကံ ကုတော မောစယထး?
As they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, “Why are you untying the colt?”
34 တာဝူစတုး ပြဘောရတြ ပြယောဇနမ် အာသ္တေ၊
They said, “The Lord needs it.”
35 ပၑ္စာတ် တော် တံ ဂရ္ဒဘၑာဝကံ ယီၑောရန္တိကမာနီယ တတ္ပၖၐ္ဌေ နိဇဝသနာနိ ပါတယိတွာ တဒုပရိ ယီၑုမာရောဟယာမာသတုး၊
They brought it to Yeshua [Salvation]. They threw their cloaks on the colt, and set Yeshua [Salvation] on them.
36 အထ ယာတြာကာလေ လောကား ပထိ သွဝသ္တြာဏိ ပါတယိတုမ် အာရေဘိရေ၊
As he went, they spread their cloaks on the road.
37 အပရံ ဇဲတုနာဒြေရုပတျကာမ် ဣတွာ ၑိၐျသံဃး ပူရွွဒၖၐ္ဋာနိ မဟာကရ္မ္မာဏိ သ္မၖတွာ,
As he was now getting near, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen,
38 ယော ရာဇာ ပြဘော ရ္နာမ္နာယာတိ သ ဓနျး သွရ္ဂေ ကုၑလံ သရွွောစ္စေ ဇယဓွနိ ရ္ဘဝတု, ကထာမေတာံ ကထယိတွာ သာနန္ဒမ် ဥစဲရီၑွရံ ဓနျံ ဝက္တုမာရေဘေ၊
saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of MarYah [Master Yahweh]! Shalom ·Complete peace· in heaven, and glory in the highest places!”
39 တဒါ လောကာရဏျမဓျသ္ထား ကိယန္တး ဖိရူၑိနသ္တတ် ၑြုတွာ ယီၑုံ ပြောစုး, ဟေ ဥပဒေၑက သွၑိၐျာန် တရ္ဇယ၊
Some of the Pharisees [Separated] from the multitude said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”
40 သ ဥဝါစ, ယုၐ္မာနဟံ ဝဒါမိ ယဒျမီ နီရဝါသ္တိၐ္ဌန္တိ တရှိ ပါၐာဏာ ဥစဲး ကထား ကထယိၐျန္တိ၊
He answered them, “I tell you that if these were silent, the stones would cry out.”
41 ပၑ္စာတ် တတ္ပုရာန္တိကမေတျ တဒဝလောကျ သာၑြုပါတံ ဇဂါဒ,
When he came near, he saw the city and wept over it,
42 ဟာ ဟာ စေတ် တွမဂြေ'ဇ္ဉာသျထား, တဝါသ္မိန္နေဝ ဒိနေ ဝါ ယဒိ သွမင်္ဂလမ် ဥပါလပ္သျထား, တရှျုတ္တမမ် အဘဝိၐျတ်, ကိန္တု က္ၐဏေသ္မိန် တတ္တဝ ဒၖၐ္ဋေရဂေါစရမ် ဘဝတိ၊
saying, “If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your shalom ·complete peace·! But now, they are hidden from your eyes.
43 တွံ သွတြာဏကာလေ န မနော နျဓတ္ထာ ဣတိ ဟေတော ရျတ္ကာလေ တဝ ရိပဝသ္တွာံ စတုရ္ဒိက္ၐု ပြာစီရေဏ ဝေၐ္ဋယိတွာ ရောတ္သျန္တိ
For the days will come on you, when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, surround you, hem you in on every side,
44 ဗာလကဲး သာရ္ဒ္ဓံ ဘူမိသာတ် ကရိၐျန္တိ စ တွန္မဓျေ ပါၐာဏဲကောပိ ပါၐာဏောပရိ န သ္ထာသျတိ စ, ကာလ ဤဒၖၑ ဥပသ္ထာသျတိ၊
and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.”
45 အထ မဓျေမန္ဒိရံ ပြဝိၑျ တတြတျာန် ကြယိဝိကြယိဏော ဗဟိၐ္ကုရွွန္
He entered into the temple, and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it,
46 အဝဒတ် မဒ္ဂၖဟံ ပြာရ္ထနာဂၖဟမိတိ လိပိရာသ္တေ ကိန္တု ယူယံ တဒေဝ စဲရာဏာံ ဂဟွရံ ကုရုထ၊
saying to them, “It is written, ‘My house is a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of robbers’!”
47 ပၑ္စာတ် သ ပြတျဟံ မဓျေမန္ဒိရမ် ဥပဒိဒေၑ; တတး ပြဓာနယာဇကာ အဓျာပကား ပြာစီနာၑ္စ တံ နာၑယိတုံ စိစေၐ္ဋိရေ;
He was teaching daily in the temple, but the chief priests and the Torah-Teachers and the leading men among the people sought to destroy him.
48 ကိန္တု တဒုပဒေၑေ သရွွေ လောကာ နိဝိၐ္ဋစိတ္တား သ္ထိတာသ္တသ္မာတ် တေ တတ္ကရ္တ္တုံ နာဝကာၑံ ပြာပုး၊
They couldn’t find what they might do, for all the people hung on to every word that he said.
