ယောဟနး 21
1 တတး ပရံ တိဗိရိယာဇလဓေသ္တဋေ ယီၑုး ပုနရပိ ၑိၐျေဘျော ဒရ္ၑနံ ဒတ္တဝါန် ဒရ္ၑနသျာချာနမိဒမ်၊
After that, Jesus showed himself to [us] disciples when we were at Tiberias Lake, [which is another name for Galilee Lake]. This is what happened:
2 ၑိမောန္ပိတရး ယမဇထောမာ ဂါလီလီယကာန္နာနဂရနိဝါသီ နိထနေလ် သိဝဒေး ပုတြာဝနျော် ဒွေါ် ၑိၐျော် စဲတေၐွေကတြ မိလိတေၐု ၑိမောန္ပိတရော'ကထယတ် မတ္သျာန် ဓရ္တုံ ယာမိ၊
Simon Peter, Thomas who was called {whom [we] called} The Twin, Nathaniel from Cana [town] in Galilee, my older brother and I, and two other disciples were together.
3 တတသ္တေ ဝျာဟရန် တရှိ ဝယမပိ တွယာ သာရ္ဒ္ဓံ ယာမး တဒါ တေ ဗဟိရ္ဂတား သန္တး က္ၐိပြံ နာဝမ် အာရောဟန် ကိန္တု တသျာံ ရဇနျာမ် ဧကမပိ န ပြာပ္နုဝန်၊
Simon Peter said to us, “[I] am going to [try to] catch some fish.” We said, “We will go with you.” So we went down [to the lake] and got into the boat. But that night we caught nothing.
4 ပြဘာတေ သတိ ယီၑုသ္တဋေ သ္ထိတဝါန် ကိန္တု သ ယီၑုရိတိ ၑိၐျာ ဇ္ဉာတုံ နာၑက္နုဝန်၊
Early the next morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but we did not know that it was Jesus.
5 တဒါ ယီၑုရပၖစ္ဆတ်, ဟေ ဝတ္သာ သန္နိဓော် ကိဉ္စိတ် ခါဒျဒြဝျမ် အာသ္တေ? တေ'ဝဒန် ကိမပိ နာသ္တိ၊
He called out to us, “My friends, you have not [caught] any fish, have you?” We answered, “You are correct, [we have not caught any].”
6 တဒါ သော'ဝဒတ် နော်ကာယာ ဒက္ၐိဏပါရ္ၑွေ ဇာလံ နိက္ၐိပတ တတော လပ္သျဓွေ, တသ္မာတ် တဲ ရ္နိက္ၐိပ္တေ ဇာလေ မတ္သျာ ဧတာဝန္တော'ပတန် ယေန တေ ဇာလမာကၖၐျ နောတ္တောလယိတုံ ၑက္တား၊
He said to us, “Throw your net out from the right-hand side of the boat! Then you will find some!” We did that, and we caught so many fish [in the net] that we were unable to pull the net into [the boat]!
7 တသ္မာဒ် ယီၑေား ပြိယတမၑိၐျး ပိတရာယာကထယတ် ဧၐ ပြဘု ရ္ဘဝေတ်, ဧၐ ပြဘုရိတိ ဝါစံ ၑြုတွဲဝ ၑိမောန် နဂ္နတာဟေတော ရ္မတ္သျဓာရိဏ ဥတ္တရီယဝသ္တြံ ပရိဓာယ ဟြဒံ ပြတျုဒလမ္ဖယတ်၊
[But I knew that it was Jesus], [so] I said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” Peter had taken off his cloak [while he was working], but as soon as he heard [me say] “It is the Lord!” he wrapped his cloak around himself and jumped into the water [and swam to shore].
8 အပရေ ၑိၐျာ မတ္သျဲး သာရ္ဒ္ဓံ ဇာလမ် အာကရ္ၐန္တး က္ၐုဒြနော်ကာံ ဝါဟယိတွာ ကူလမာနယန် တေ ကူလာဒ် အတိဒူရေ နာသန် ဒွိၑတဟသ္တေဘျော ဒူရ အာသန် ဣတျနုမီယတေ၊
The rest of us came [to the shore] in the boat, pulling the net full of fish. We were not far from shore, only about 100 yards/meters.
9 တီရံ ပြာပ္တဲသ္တဲသ္တတြ ပြဇွလိတာဂ္နိသ္တဒုပရိ မတ္သျား ပူပါၑ္စ ဒၖၐ္ဋား၊
When [we] got to the shore, we saw that there was a fire of burning coals there, with a [large] fish on the fire, and [some] buns.
10 တတော ယီၑုရကထယဒ် ယာန် မတ္သျာန် အဓရတ တေၐာံ ကတိပယာန် အာနယတ၊
Jesus said to us, “Bring some of the fish that you have just caught!”
11 အတး ၑိမောန္ပိတရး ပရာဝၖတျ ဂတွာ ဗၖဟဒ္ဘိသ္တြိပဉ္စာၑဒဓိကၑတမတ္သျဲး ပရိပူရ္ဏံ တဇ္ဇာလမ် အာကၖၐျောဒတောလယတ် ကိန္တွေတာဝဒ္ဘိ ရ္မတ္သျဲရပိ ဇာလံ နာဆိဒျတ၊
Simon Peter got in [the boat] and dragged the net to the shore. It was full of large fish. There were 153 of them! But in spite of there being so many fish, the net was not torn.
12 အနန္တရံ ယီၑုသ္တာန် အဝါဒီတ် ယူယမာဂတျ ဘုံဂ္ဓွံ; တဒါ သဧဝ ပြဘုရိတိ ဇ္ဉာတတွာတ် တွံ ကး? ဣတိ ပြၐ္ဋုံ ၑိၐျာဏာံ ကသျာပိ ပြဂလ္ဘတာ နာဘဝတ်၊
Jesus said to us, “Come and eat some breakfast!” None of us dared to ask him, “Who are you?” because we knew that it was the Lord.
13 တတော ယီၑုရာဂတျ ပူပါန် မတ္သျာံၑ္စ ဂၖဟီတွာ တေဘျး ပရျျဝေၐယတ်၊
Jesus took the buns and gave them to us. He did the same with the fish.
14 ဣတ္ထံ ၑ္မၑာနာဒုတ္ထာနာတ် ပရံ ယီၑုး ၑိၐျေဘျသ္တၖတီယဝါရံ ဒရ္ၑနံ ဒတ္တဝါန်၊
That was the third time that Jesus appeared to [us] disciples after [God] caused him to become alive again after he died.
15 ဘောဇနေ သမာပ္တေ သတိ ယီၑုး ၑိမောန္ပိတရံ ပၖၐ္ဋဝါန်, ဟေ ယူနသး ပုတြ ၑိမောန် တွံ ကိမ် ဧတေဘျောဓိကံ မယိ ပြီယသေ? တတး သ ဥဒိတဝါန် သတျံ ပြဘော တွယိ ပြီယေ'ဟံ တဒ် ဘဝါန် ဇာနာတိ; တဒါ ယီၑုရကထယတ် တရှိ မမ မေၐၑာဝကဂဏံ ပါလယ၊
When we had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “John’s [son] Simon, do you love me more than these [other disciples do]?” Peter said to him, “Yes, Lord, you know that you are dear to me (OR, that I love you).” Jesus said, “Give to [those who belong to] me [what they need spiritually, like] [MET] [a shepherd provides] food for his lambs.”
16 တတး သ ဒွိတီယဝါရံ ပၖၐ္ဋဝါန် ဟေ ယူနသး ပုတြ ၑိမောန် တွံ ကိံ မယိ ပြီယသေ? တတး သ ဥက္တဝါန် သတျံ ပြဘော တွယိ ပြီယေ'ဟံ တဒ် ဘဝါန် ဇာနာတိ; တဒါ ယီၑုရကထယတ တရှိ မမ မေၐဂဏံ ပါလယ၊
Jesus said to him again, “John’s [son] Simon, do you love me?” He replied, “Yes, Lord, you know that you are dear to me (OR, that I love you).” Jesus said to him, “Take care of [those who belong to] me, [like] [MET] a [shepherd takes care of his] sheep.”
17 ပၑ္စာတ် သ တၖတီယဝါရံ ပၖၐ္ဋဝါန်, ဟေ ယူနသး ပုတြ ၑိမောန် တွံ ကိံ မယိ ပြီယသေ? ဧတဒွါကျံ တၖတီယဝါရံ ပၖၐ္ဋဝါန် တသ္မာတ် ပိတရော ဒုးခိတော ဘူတွာ'ကထယတ် ဟေ ပြဘော ဘဝတး ကိမပျဂေါစရံ နာသ္တိ တွယျဟံ ပြီယေ တဒ် ဘဝါန် ဇာနာတိ; တတော ယီၑုရဝဒတ် တရှိ မမ မေၐဂဏံ ပါလယ၊
Jesus said to him a third time, “John’s son Simon, am I really dear to you (OR, do you really love me)?” Peter was grieved because Jesus asked him this three times, [and because the third time he changed the question]. He said, “Lord, you know everything. You know that you are dear to me (OR, that I love you).” Jesus said, “Give to [those who belong to] me [what they need spiritually, as] [MET] [a shepherd provides] food for [his] sheep.
18 အဟံ တုဘျံ ယထာရ္ထံ ကထယာမိ ယော်ဝနကာလေ သွယံ ဗဒ္ဓကဋိ ရျတြေစ္ဆာ တတြ ယာတဝါန် ကိန္တွိတး ပရံ ဝၖဒ္ဓေ ဝယသိ ဟသ္တံ ဝိသ္တာရယိၐျသိ, အနျဇနသ္တွာံ ဗဒ္ဓွာ ယတြ ဂန္တုံ တဝေစ္ဆာ န ဘဝတိ တွာံ ဓၖတွာ တတြ နေၐျတိ၊
Now listen to this carefully: When you were young, you put your clothes on by yourself, and you went wherever you wanted to go. But when you are old, you will stretch out your arms, and someone will fasten them [with a rope] and will lead you to a place where you do not want to [go].”
19 ဖလတး ကီဒၖၑေန မရဏေန သ ဤၑွရသျ မဟိမာနံ ပြကာၑယိၐျတိ တဒ် ဗောဓယိတုံ သ ဣတိ ဝါကျံ ပြောက္တဝါန်၊ ဣတျုက္တေ သတိ သ တမဝေါစတ် မမ ပၑ္စာဒ် အာဂစ္ဆ၊
Jesus said this to indicate how Peter would die ([violently/on a cross]) in order to honor God. Then Jesus said to him, “Keep being my faithful disciple [until you die].”
20 ယော ဇနော ရာတြိကာလေ ယီၑော ရွက္ၐော'ဝလမ္ဗျ, ဟေ ပြဘော ကော ဘဝန္တံ ပရကရေၐု သမရ္ပယိၐျတီတိ ဝါကျံ ပၖၐ္ဋဝါန်, တံ ယီၑေား ပြိယတမၑိၐျံ ပၑ္စာဒ် အာဂစ္ဆန္တံ
Peter turned around and saw that I was following them. I was the one who leaned close to Jesus during the [Passover] meal and said, “Lord, who is going to enable your enemies to seize you?”
21 ပိတရော မုခံ ပရာဝရ္တ္တျ ဝိလောကျ ယီၑုံ ပၖၐ္ဋဝါန်, ဟေ ပြဘော ဧတသျ မာနဝသျ ကီဒၖၑီ ဂတိ ရ္ဘဝိၐျတိ?
When Peter saw me, he asked, “Lord, what [is going to happen] to him?”
22 သ ပြတျဝဒတ်, မမ ပုနရာဂမနပရျျန္တံ ယဒိ တံ သ္ထာပယိတုမ် ဣစ္ဆာမိ တတြ တဝ ကိံ? တွံ မမ ပၑ္စာဒ် အာဂစ္ဆ၊
Jesus said to him, “If I want him to remain [alive] until I return, (that is not your concern!/what is that to you?) [RHQ] You be my [faithful] disciple!”
23 တသ္မာတ် သ ၑိၐျော န မရိၐျတီတိ ဘြာတၖဂဏမဓျေ ကိံဝဒန္တီ ဇာတာ ကိန္တု သ န မရိၐျတီတိ ဝါကျံ ယီၑု ရ္နာဝဒတ် ကေဝလံ မမ ပုနရာဂမနပရျျန္တံ ယဒိ တံ သ္ထာပယိတုမ် ဣစ္ဆာမိ တတြ တဝ ကိံ? ဣတိ ဝါကျမ် ဥက္တဝါန်၊
Some of the other believers heard [a report of] what Jesus had said about me, and [they thought that Jesus meant] that I would not die. But Jesus did not say that I would not die. He said only, “If I want him to remain [alive] until I return, (that is not your concern!/what is that to you?) [RHQ]”
24 ယော ဇန ဧတာနိ သရွွာဏိ လိခိတဝါန် အတြ သာက္ၐျဉ္စ ဒတ္တဝါန် သဧဝ သ ၑိၐျး, တသျ သာက္ၐျံ ပြမာဏမိတိ ဝယံ ဇာနီမး၊
[I, John], am the disciple who has seen all these things and I have written them down. My [fellow apostles] and I know that what [I have written] is true.
25 ယီၑုရေတေဘျော'ပရာဏျပိ ဗဟူနိ ကရ္မ္မာဏိ ကၖတဝါန် တာနိ သရွွာဏိ ယဒျေကဲကံ ကၖတွာ လိချန္တေ တရှိ ဂြန္ထာ ဧတာဝန္တော ဘဝန္တိ တေၐာံ ဓာရဏေ ပၖထိဝျာံ သ္ထာနံ န ဘဝတိ၊ ဣတိ။
Jesus did many other things. If they would [all] be written {If people would write them [all]} down [in detail], I suppose that the whole world would not have enough space [HYP] to contain the books that would be written {that they would write} [about what he did].
