1 အပရဉ္စ နိသ္တာရောတ္သဝါတ် ပရံ ပဉ္စာၑတ္တမေ ဒိနေ သမုပသ္ထိတေ သတိ တေ သရွွေ ဧကာစိတ္တီဘူယ သ္ထာန ဧကသ္မိန် မိလိတာ အာသန်၊
And, when the day of pentecost was filling up [the number of days] they were all together with one intent; —
2 ဧတသ္မိန္နေဝ သမယေ'ကသ္မာဒ် အာကာၑာတ် ပြစဏ္ဍာတျုဂြဝါယေား ၑဗ္ဒဝဒ် ဧကး ၑဗ္ဒ အာဂတျ ယသ္မိန် ဂၖဟေ တ ဥပါဝိၑန် တဒ် ဂၖဟံ သမသ္တံ ဝျာပ္နောတ်၊
When there came suddenly out of heaven a sound, just as of a mighty rushing wind, —and it filled all the house where they were sitting;
3 တတး ပရံ ဝဟ္နိၑိခါသွရူပါ ဇိဟွား ပြတျက္ၐီဘူယ ဝိဘက္တား သတျး ပြတိဇနောရ္ဒ္ဓွေ သ္ထဂိတာ အဘူဝန်၊
And there appeared unto them—parting asunder—tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each one of them;
4 တသ္မာတ် သရွွေ ပဝိတြေဏာတ္မနာ ပရိပူရ္ဏား သန္တ အာတ္မာ ယထာ ဝါစိတဝါန် တဒနုသာရေဏာနျဒေၑီယာနာံ ဘာၐာ ဥက္တဝန္တး၊
And they were all filled with Holy Spirit, and began to be speaking with other kinds of tongues just as the Spirit was giving unto them to be sounding forth.
5 တသ္မိန် သမယေ ပၖထိဝီသ္ထသရွွဒေၑေဘျော ယိဟူဒီယမတာဝလမ္ဗိနော ဘက္တလောကာ ယိရူၑာလမိ ပြာဝသန်;
Now there were in Jerusalem sojourning Jews, reverent men from every nation who were under heaven;
6 တသျား ကထာယား ကိံဝဒန္တျာ ဇာတတွာတ် သရွွေ လောကာ မိလိတွာ နိဇနိဇဘာၐယာ ၑိၐျာဏာံ ကထာကထနံ ၑြုတွာ သမုဒွိဂ္နာ အဘဝန်၊
And this sound occurring the throng came together and was thrown into confusion, because each one severally heard in his own language them who were speaking;
7 သရွွဧဝ ဝိသ္မယာပန္နာ အာၑ္စရျျာနွိတာၑ္စ သန္တး ပရသ္ပရံ ဥက္တဝန္တး ပၑျတ ယေ ကထာံ ကထယန္တိ တေ သရွွေ ဂါလီလီယလောကား ကိံ န ဘဝန္တိ?
Yea they were beside themselves and did marvel, saying—Lo! are not all these who are speaking Galilaeans?
8 တရှိ ဝယံ ပြတျေကၑး သွသွဇန္မဒေၑီယဘာၐာဘိး ကထာ ဧတေၐာံ ၑၖဏုမး ကိမိဒံ?
How then do, we, hear each one in our own language in which we were born?
9 ပါရ္ထီ-မာဒီ-အရာမ္နဟရယိမ္ဒေၑနိဝါသိမနော ယိဟူဒါ-ကပ္ပဒကိယာ-ပန္တ-အာၑိယာ-
Parthians and Medes and Elamites, and those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judaea also and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
10 ဖြုဂိယာ-ပမ္ဖုလိယာ-မိသရနိဝါသိနး ကုရီဏီနိကဋဝရ္တ္တိလူဗီယပြဒေၑနိဝါသိနော ရောမနဂရာဒ် အာဂတာ ယိဟူဒီယလောကာ ယိဟူဒီယမတဂြာဟိဏး ကြီတီယာ အရာဗီယာဒယော လောကာၑ္စ ယေ ဝယမ္
Phrygia also and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of the Libya that is towards Cyrene, and the sojourning Romans, —both Jews and proselytes,
11 အသ္မာကံ နိဇနိဇဘာၐာဘိရေတေၐာမ် ဤၑွရီယမဟာကရ္မ္မဝျာချာနံ ၑၖဏုမး၊
Cretans and Arabians, we do hear them speaking in our own tongues the magnificent things of God.
12 ဣတ္ထံ တေ သရွွဧဝ ဝိသ္မယာပန္နား သန္ဒိဂ္ဓစိတ္တား သန္တး ပရသ္ပရမူစုး, အသျ ကော ဘာဝး?
But they were all beside themselves and were utterly at a loss, saying one to another—What doth this please to be?
13 အပရေ ကေစိတ် ပရိဟသျ ကထိတဝန္တ ဧတေ နဝီနဒြာက္ၐာရသေန မတ္တာ အဘဝန်၊
While, others, in mockery were saying—With sweet wine, are they drunken!
14 တဒါ ပိတရ ဧကာဒၑဘိ ရ္ဇနဲး သာကံ တိၐ္ဌန် တာလ္လောကာန် ဥစ္စဲးကာရမ် အဝဒတ်, ဟေ ယိဟူဒီယာ ဟေ ယိရူၑာလမ္နိဝါသိနး သရွွေ, အဝဓာနံ ကၖတွာ မဒီယဝါကျံ ဗုဓျဓွံ၊
But, taking his stand, Peter with the eleven lifted up his voice, and sounded out unto them—Ye men of Judaea, and all ye who are sojourning in Jerusalem! Let, this, unto you be known, and give ear unto my declarations; —
15 ဣဒါနီမ် ဧကယာမာဒ် အဓိကာ ဝေလာ နာသ္တိ တသ္မာဒ် ယူယံ ယဒ် အနုမာထ မာနဝါ ဣမေ မဒျပါနေန မတ္တာသ္တန္န၊
For not, as, ye, suppose, are these men drunken, for it is the third hour of the day; —
16 ကိန္တု ယောယေလ္ဘဝိၐျဒွက္တြဲတဒွါကျမုက္တံ ယထာ,
But this is that which hath been spoken through the prophet Joel—
17 ဤၑွရး ကထယာမာသ ယုဂါန္တသမယေ တွဟမ်၊ ဝရ္ၐိၐျာမိ သွမာတ္မာနံ သရွွပြာဏျုပရိ ဓြုဝမ်၊ ဘာဝိဝါကျံ ဝဒိၐျန္တိ ကနျား ပုတြာၑ္စ ဝသ္တုတး၊ ပြတျာဒေၑဉ္စ ပြာပ္သျန္တိ ယုၐ္မာကံ ယုဝမာနဝါး၊ တထာ ပြာစီနလောကာသ္တု သွပ္နာန် ဒြက္ၐျန္တိ နိၑ္စိတံ၊
And it shall be, in the last days saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and, your young men, visions shall see and, your elders, in dreams shall dream, —
18 ဝရ္ၐိၐျာမိ တဒါတ္မာနံ ဒါသဒါသီဇနောပိရိ၊ တေနဲဝ ဘာဝိဝါကျံ တေ ဝဒိၐျန္တိ ဟိ သရွွၑး၊
And, even upon my men-servants and upon my maid-servants in those days, will I pour out of my Spirit, and they shall prophesy;
19 ဦရ္ဒ္ဓွသ္ထေ ဂဂဏေ စဲဝ နီစသ္ထေ ပၖထိဝီတလေ၊ ၑောဏိတာနိ ဗၖဟဒ္ဘါနူန် ဃနဓူမာဒိကာနိ စ၊ စိဟ္နာနိ ဒရ္ၑယိၐျာမိ မဟာၑ္စရျျကြိယာသ္တထာ၊
And I will set forth wonders in the heaven above, and signs upon the earth beneath, —blood and fire and vapour of smoke:
20 မဟာဘယာနကသျဲဝ တဒ္ဒိနသျ ပရေၑိတုး၊ ပုရာဂမာဒ် ရဝိး ကၖၐ္ဏော ရက္တၑ္စန္ဒြော ဘဝိၐျတး၊
The sun, shall be turned into darkness and, the moon, into blood, —before the coming of the day of the Lord, the great and manifest [day];
21 ကိန္တု ယး ပရမေၑသျ နာမ္နိ သမ္ပြာရ္ထယိၐျတေ၊ သဧဝ မနုဇော နူနံ ပရိတြာတော ဘဝိၐျတိ။
And it shall be—Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.
22 အတော ဟေ ဣသြာယေလွံၑီယလောကား သရွွေ ကထာယာမေတသျာမ် မနော နိဓဒ္ဓွံ နာသရတီယော ယီၑုရီၑွရသျ မနောနီတး ပုမာန် ဧတဒ် ဤၑွရသ္တတ္ကၖတဲရာၑ္စရျျာဒ္ဘုတကရ္မ္မဘိ ရ္လက္ၐဏဲၑ္စ ယုၐ္မာကံ သာက္ၐာဒေဝ ပြတိပါဒိတဝါန် ဣတိ ယူယံ ဇာနီထ၊
Ye men of Israel! hear these words: —Jesus the Nazarene, a man pointed out of God unto you by mighty works and wonders and signs, which God did through him in your midst, just as ye yourselves know,
23 တသ္မိန် ယီၑော် ဤၑွရသျ ပူရွွနိၑ္စိတမန္တြဏာနိရူပဏာနုသာရေဏ မၖတျော် သမရ္ပိတေ သတိ ယူယံ တံ ဓၖတွာ ဒုၐ္ဋလောကာနာံ ဟသ္တဲး ကြုၑေ ဝိဓိတွာဟတ၊
The same, by the marked out counsel and foreknowledge of God given up, through the hands of lawless men, suspending, ye slew,
24 ကိန္တွီၑွရသ္တံ နိဓနသျ ဗန္ဓနာန္မောစယိတွာ ဥဒသ္ထာပယတ် ယတး သ မၖတျုနာ ဗဒ္ဓသ္တိၐ္ဌတီတိ န သမ္ဘဝတိ၊
Whom, God, raised up, loosing the pangs of death, inasmuch as it was, not possible, for him to continue held fast by it.
25 ဧတသ္တိန် ဒါယူဒပိ ကထိတဝါန် ယထာ, သရွွဒါ မမ သာက္ၐာတ္တံ သ္ထာပယ ပရမေၑွရံ၊ သ္ထိတေ မဒ္ဒက္ၐိဏေ တသ္မိန် သ္ခလိၐျာမိ တွဟံ နဟိ၊
For, David, saith concerning him—I foresaw the Lord before me continually, because he is, on my right hand, that I may not be shaken;
26 အာနန္ဒိၐျတိ တဒ္ဓေတော ရ္မာမကီနံ မနသ္တု ဝဲ၊ အာဟ္လာဒိၐျတိ ဇိဟွာပိ မဒီယာ တု တထဲဝ စ၊ ပြတျာၑယာ ၑရီရန္တု မဒီယံ ဝဲၑယိၐျတေ၊
For this reason, was my heart made glad and my tongue exulted, —ye further, even my flesh, shall encamp on hope:
27 ပရလောကေ ယတော ဟေတောသ္တွံ မာံ နဲဝ ဟိ တျက္ၐျသိ၊ သွကီယံ ပုဏျဝန္တံ တွံ က္ၐယိတုံ နဲဝ ဒါသျသိ၊ ဧဝံ ဇီဝနမာရ္ဂံ တွံ မာမေဝ ဒရ္ၑယိၐျသိ၊ (Hadēs g86)
Because thou wilt not abandon my soul unto hades, neither wilt thou give thy man of lovingkindness to see corruption; (Hadēs g86)
28 သွသမ္မုခေ ယ အာနန္ဒော ဒက္ၐိဏေ သွသျ ယတ် သုခံ၊ အနန္တံ တေန မာံ ပူရ္ဏံ ကရိၐျသိ န သံၑယး။
Thou madest known unto me paths of life, thou wilt make me full of gladness with thy countenance.
29 ဟေ ဘြာတရော'သ္မာကံ တသျ ပူရွွပုရုၐသျ ဒါယူဒး ကထာံ သ္ပၐ္ဋံ ကထယိတုံ မာမ် အနုမနျဓွံ, သ ပြာဏာန် တျက္တွာ ၑ္မၑာနေ သ္ထာပိတောဘဝဒ် အဒျာပိ တတ် ၑ္မၑာနမ် အသ္မာကံ သန္နိဓော် ဝိဒျတေ၊
Brethren! it is, allowable, to say with freedom of speech unto you, concerning the patriarch David, —that he both died and was buried, and, his tomb, is among us until this day.
30 ဖလတော လော်ကိကဘာဝေန ဒါယူဒေါ ဝံၑေ ခြီၐ္ဋံ ဇန္မ ဂြာဟယိတွာ တသျဲဝ သိံဟာသနေ သမုဝေၐ္ဋုံ တမုတ္ထာပယိၐျတိ ပရမေၑွရး ၑပထံ ကုတွာ ဒါယူဒး သမီပ ဣမမ် အင်္ဂီကာရံ ကၖတဝါန်,
Being then, a prophet, and knowing that, with an oath, God had sworn unto him, of the fruit of his loins, to seat on his throne,
31 ဣတိ ဇ္ဉာတွာ ဒါယူဒ် ဘဝိၐျဒွါဒီ သန် ဘဝိၐျတ္ကာလီယဇ္ဉာနေန ခြီၐ္ဋောတ္ထာနေ ကထာမိမာံ ကထယာမာသ ယထာ တသျာတ္မာ ပရလောကေ န တျက္ၐျတေ တသျ ၑရီရဉ္စ န က္ၐေၐျတိ; (Hadēs g86)
With foresight, spake he concerning the resurrection of the Christ—that neither was he abandoned unto hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
32 အတး ပရမေၑွရ ဧနံ ယီၑုံ ၑ္မၑာနာဒ် ဥဒသ္ထာပယတ် တတြ ဝယံ သရွွေ သာက္ၐိဏ အာသ္မဟေ၊
The same Jesus, hath God raised up, whereof, all we, are witnesses!
33 သ ဤၑွရသျ ဒက္ၐိဏကရေဏောန္နတိံ ပြာပျ ပဝိတြ အာတ္မိန ပိတာ ယမင်္ဂီကာရံ ကၖတဝါန် တသျ ဖလံ ပြာပျ ယတ် ပၑျထ ၑၖဏုထ စ တဒဝရ္ၐတ်၊
By the right hand of God, therefore, having been exalted, also, the promise of the Holy Spirit, having received from the Father, He hath poured out this which, yourselves, do see and hear.
34 ယတော ဒါယူဒ် သွရ္ဂံ နာရုရောဟ ကိန္တု သွယမ် ဣမာံ ကထာမ် အကထယဒ် ယထာ, မမ ပြဘုမိဒံ ဝါကျမဝဒတ် ပရမေၑွရး၊
For, David, hath not ascended into the heavens; but he saith, himself, —Said the Lord unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand,
35 တဝ ၑတြူနဟံ ယာဝတ် ပါဒပီဌံ ကရောမိ န၊ တာဝတ် ကာလံ မဒီယေ တွံ ဒက္ၐဝါရ္ၑွ ဥပါဝိၑ၊
Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36 အတော ယံ ယီၑုံ ယူယံ ကြုၑေ'ဟတ ပရမေၑွရသ္တံ ပြဘုတွာဘိၐိက္တတွပဒေ နျယုံက္တေတိ ဣသြာယေလီယာ လောကာ နိၑ္စိတံ ဇာနန္တု၊
Assuredly, then, let all the house of Israel know: that, both Lord and Christ, hath God made him, even the same Jesus whom, ye, crucified!
37 ဧတာဒၖၑီံ ကထာံ ၑြုတွာ တေၐာံ ဟၖဒယာနာံ ဝိဒီရ္ဏတွာတ် တေ ပိတရာယ တဒနျပြေရိတေဘျၑ္စ ကထိတဝန္တး, ဟေ ဘြာတၖဂဏ ဝယံ ကိံ ကရိၐျာမး?
And, when they heard this, they were pricked to the heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles—What are we to do, brethren?
38 တတး ပိတရး ပြတျဝဒဒ် ယူယံ သရွွေ သွံ သွံ မနး ပရိဝရ္တ္တယဓွံ တထာ ပါပမောစနာရ္ထံ ယီၑုခြီၐ္ဋသျ နာမ္နာ မဇ္ဇိတာၑ္စ ဘဝတ, တသ္မာဒ် ဒါနရူပံ ပရိတြမ် အာတ္မာနံ လပ္သျထ၊
And Peter [said] unto them—Repent ye, and let each one of you be immersed, in the name of Jesus Christ, into the remission of your sins, —and ye shall receive the free-gift of the Holy Spirit;
39 ယတော ယုၐ္မာကံ ယုၐ္မတ္သန္တာနာနာဉ္စ ဒူရသ္ထသရွွလောကာနာဉ္စ နိမိတ္တမ် အရ္ထာဒ် အသ္မာကံ ပြဘုး ပရမေၑွရော ယာဝတော လာကာန် အာဟွာသျတိ တေၐာံ သရွွေၐာံ နိမိတ္တမ် အယမင်္ဂီကာရ အာသ္တေ၊
For, unto you, is the promise, and unto your children, —and unto all them who are afar off: as many soever as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
40 ဧတဒနျာဘိ ရ္ဗဟုကထာဘိး ပြမာဏံ ဒတွာကထယတ် ဧတေဘျော ဝိပထဂါမိဘျော ဝရ္တ္တမာနလောကေဘျး သွာန် ရက္ၐတ၊
And, with many different words, bare he frail witness, and went on exhorting them saying—Be saved from this perverse generation!
41 တတး ပရံ ယေ သာနန္ဒာသ္တာံ ကထာမ် အဂၖဟ္လန် တေ မဇ္ဇိတာ အဘဝန်၊ တသ္မိန် ဒိဝသေ ပြာယေဏ တြီဏိ သဟသြာဏိ လောကာသ္တေၐာံ သပက္ၐား သန္တး
They, therefore, who welcomed his word, were immersed; and there were added, on that day, about three thousand souls.
42 ပြေရိတာနာမ် ဥပဒေၑေ သင်္ဂတော် ပူပဘဉ္ဇနေ ပြာရ္ထနာသု စ မနးသံယောဂံ ကၖတွာတိၐ္ဌန်၊
And they went on to give constant attention—unto the teaching of the apostles, and unto the fellowship, unto the breaking of bread, and unto the prayers.
43 ပြေရိတဲ ရ္နာနာပြကာရလက္ၐဏေၐု မဟာၑ္စရျျကရ္မမသု စ ဒရ္ၑိတေၐု သရွွလောကာနာံ ဘယမုပသ္ထိတံ၊
And there came on every soul, fear, and, many wonders and signs, through means of the apostles, were coming to pass.
44 ဝိၑွာသကာရိဏး သရွွ စ သဟ တိၐ္ဌနတး၊ သွေၐာံ သရွွား သမ္ပတ္တီး သာဓာရဏျေန သ္ထာပယိတွာဘုဉ္ဇတ၊
And, all who believed, with one accord, began to hold all things common;
45 ဖလတော ဂၖဟာဏိ ဒြဝျာဏိ စ သရွွာဏိ ဝိကြီယ သရွွေၐာံ သွသွပြယောဇနာနုသာရေဏ ဝိဘဇျ သရွွေဘျော'ဒဒန်၊
and, their possessions and goods, were they selling and distributing them unto all, in so far as anyone had need.
46 သရွွ ဧကစိတ္တီဘူယ ဒိနေ ဒိနေ မန္ဒိရေ သန္တိၐ္ဌမာနာ ဂၖဟေ ဂၖဟေ စ ပူပါနဘဉ္ဇန္တ ဤၑွရသျ ဓနျဝါဒံ ကုရွွန္တော လောကဲး သမာဒၖတား ပရမာနန္ဒေန သရလာန္တးကရဏေန ဘောဇနံ ပါနဉ္စကုရွွန်၊
And, daily giving attendance with one intent in the temple and, at home, breaking bread, they were partaking of food with exultation and singleness of heart;
47 ပရမေၑွရော ဒိနေ ဒိနေ ပရိတြာဏဘာဇနဲ ရ္မဏ္ဍလီမ် အဝရ္ဒ္ဓယတ်၊
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And, the Lord, was adding them who were being saved, daily, together.
