၁ တီမထိယး 5

1 တွံ ပြာစီနံ န ဘရ္တ္သယ ကိန္တု တံ ပိတရမိဝ ယူနၑ္စ ဘြာတၖနိဝ

Rebuke not an elder, but exhort him as a father; the younger men as brothers:

2 ဝၖဒ္ဓါး သ္တြိယၑ္စ မာတၖနိဝ ယုဝတီၑ္စ ပူရ္ဏၑုစိတွေန ဘဂိနီရိဝ ဝိနယသွ၊

the elderly women as mothers; the younger women as sisters, in all purity.

3 အပရံ သတျဝိဓဝါး သမ္မနျသွ၊

Honor widows who are truly widows.

4 ကသျာၑ္စိဒ် ဝိဓဝါယာ ယဒိ ပုတြား ပေါ်တြာ ဝါ ဝိဒျန္တေ တရှိ တေ ပြထမတး သွီယပရိဇနာန် သေဝိတုံ ပိတြေား ပြတျုပကရ္တ္တုဉ္စ ၑိက္ၐန္တာံ ယတသ္တဒေဝေၑွရသျ သာက္ၐာဒ် ဥတ္တမံ ဂြာဟျဉ္စ ကရ္မ္မ၊

But if any widow has children, or grandchildren, let them first learn to show piety to their own house, and to give benefactions to their ancestors: for this is acceptable in the sight of God.

5 အပရံ ယာ နာရီ သတျဝိဓဝါ နာထဟီနာ စာသ္တိ သာ ဤၑွရသျာၑြယေ တိၐ္ဌန္တီ ဒိဝါနိၑံ နိဝေဒနပြာရ္ထနာဘျာံ ကာလံ ယာပယတိ၊

She who is truly a widow, and left alone, hopes in God, and abides in prayers and supplication night and day;

6 ကိန္တု ယာ ဝိဓဝါ သုခဘောဂါသက္တာ သာ ဇီဝတျပိ မၖတာ ဘဝတိ၊

but she who is wanton is dead though living.

7 အတဧဝ တာ ယဒ် အနိန္ဒိတာ ဘဝေယူသ္တဒရ္ထမ် ဧတာနိ တွယာ နိဒိၑျန္တာံ၊

Indeed command these things, in order that they may be blameless.

8 ယဒိ ကၑ္စိတ် သွဇာတီယာန် လောကာန် ဝိၑေၐတး သွီယပရိဇနာန် န ပါလယတိ တရှိ သ ဝိၑွာသာဒ် ဘြၐ္ဋော 'ပျဓမၑ္စ ဘဝတိ၊

But if any one provides not for his own, and especially those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

9 ဝိဓဝါဝရ္ဂေ ယသျာ ဂဏနာ ဘဝတိ တယာ ၐၐ္ဋိဝတ္သရေဘျော နျူနဝယသ္ကယာ န ဘဝိတဝျံ; အပရံ ပူရွွမ် ဧကသွာမိကာ ဘူတွာ

Let a widow not be taken into account under three score years, the wife of one husband,

10 သာ ယတ် ၑိၑုပေါၐဏေနာတိထိသေဝနေန ပဝိတြလောကာနာံ စရဏပြက္ၐာလနေန က္လိၐ္ဋာနာမ် ဥပကာရေဏ သရွွဝိဓသတ္ကရ္မ္မာစရဏေန စ သတ္ကရ္မ္မကရဏာတ် သုချာတိပြာပ္တာ ဘဝေတ် တဒပျာဝၑျကံ၊

being witness in beautiful works; if she has brought up children, if she has entertained strangers, if she has washed the feet of saints, if she has succored those in tribulation, if she has followed in every good work.

11 ကိန္တု ယုဝတီ ရွိဓဝါ န ဂၖဟာဏ ယတး ခြီၐ္ဋသျ ဝဲပရီတျေန တာသာံ ဒရ္ပေ ဇာတေ တာ ဝိဝါဟမ် ဣစ္ဆန္တိ၊

But reject the younger widows: for when they may wax wanton against Christ, they wish to marry;

12 တသ္မာစ္စ ပူရွွဓရ္မ္မံ ပရိတျဇျ ဒဏ္ဍနီယာ ဘဝန္တိ၊

having condemnation, because they have rejected their first faith:

13 အနန္တရံ တာ ဂၖဟာဒ် ဂၖဟံ ပရျျဋန္တျ အာလသျံ ၑိက္ၐန္တေ ကေဝလမာလသျံ နဟိ ကိန္တွနရ္ထကာလာပံ ပရာဓိကာရစရ္စ္စာဉ္စာပိ ၑိက္ၐမာဏာ အနုစိတာနိ ဝါကျာနိ ဘာၐန္တေ၊

and at the same time they learn to be idle, going about houses; and not only idle, but also loquacious even busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

14 အတော မမေစ္ဆေယံ ယုဝတျော ဝိဓဝါ ဝိဝါဟံ ကုရွွတာမ် အပတျဝတျော ဘဝန္တု ဂၖဟကရ္မ္မ ကုရွွတာဉ္စေတ္ထံ ဝိပက္ၐာယ ကိမပိ နိန္ဒာဒွါရံ န ဒဒတု၊

Therefore I wish the younger women to marry, to raise up children, to rule the house, to give no occasion to the adversary for the sake of reproach;

15 ယတ ဣတး ပူရွွမ် အပိ ကာၑ္စိတ် ၑယတာနသျ ပၑ္စာဒ္ဂါမိနျော ဇာတား၊

for already certain ones have turned away after Satan.

16 အပရံ ဝိၑွာသိနျာ ဝိၑွာသိနော ဝါ ကသျာပိ ပရိဝါရာဏာံ မဓျေ ယဒိ ဝိဓဝါ ဝိဒျန္တေ တရှိ သ တား ပြတိပါလယတု တသ္မာတ် သမိတော် ဘာရေ 'နာရောပိတေ သတျဝိဓဝါနာံ ပြတိပါလနံ ကရ္တ္တုံ တယာ ၑကျတေ၊

If any faithful woman has widows, let her support them, and let not the church be burdened; in order that she may give her attention to those who are truly widows.

17 ယေ ပြာဉ္စး သမိတိံ သမျဂ် အဓိတိၐ္ဌန္တိ ဝိၑေၐတ ဤၑွရဝါကျေနောပဒေၑေန စ ယေ ယတ္နံ ဝိဒဓတေ တေ ဒွိဂုဏသျာဒရသျ ယောဂျာ မာနျန္တာံ၊

Let the elders who stand before the people beautifully, be considered worthy of double remuneration, especially those laboring in the word and teaching.

18 ယသ္မာတ် ၑာသ္တြေ လိခိတမိဒမာသ္တေ, တွံ ၑသျမရ္ဒ္ဒကဝၖၐသျာသျံ မာ ဗဓာနေတိ, အပရမပိ ကာရျျကၖဒ် ဝေတနသျ ယောဂျော ဘဝတီတိ၊

For the scripture says, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn: and, The laborer is worthy of his hire.

19 ဒွေါ် တြီန် ဝါ သာက္ၐိဏော ဝိနာ ကသျာစိတ် ပြာစီနသျ ဝိရုဒ္ဓမ် အဘိယောဂသ္တွယာ န ဂၖဟျတာံ၊

Bring not an accusation against an elder, except before two or three witnesses.

20 အပရံ ယေ ပါပမာစရန္တိ တာန် သရွွေၐာံ သမက္ၐံ ဘရ္တ္သယသွ တေနာပရေၐာမပိ ဘီတိ ရ္ဇနိၐျတေ၊

Convict those who sin before all, in order that the rest may also have fear.

21 အဟမ် ဤၑွရသျ ပြဘော ရျီၑုခြီၐ္ဋသျ မနောနီတဒိဝျဒူတာနာဉ္စ ဂေါစရေ တွာမ် ဣဒမ် အာဇ္ဉာပယာမိ တွံ ကသျာပျနုရောဓေန ကိမပိ န ကုရွွန ဝိနာပက္ၐပါတမ် ဧတာန ဝိဓီန် ပါလယ၊

I testify before God, and Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you must guard these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.

22 ကသျာပိ မူရ္ဒ္ဓိ ဟသ္တာပရ္ဏံ တွရယာ မာကာရ္ၐီး၊ ပရပါပါနာဉ္စာံၑီ မာ ဘဝ၊ သွံ ၑုစိံ ရက္ၐ၊

Lay hands quickly on no one, and be not partaker of other men's sins.

23 အပရံ တဝေါဒရပီဍာယား ပုနး ပုန ဒုရ္ဗ္ဗလတာယာၑ္စ နိမိတ္တံ ကေဝလံ တောယံ န ပိဝန် ကိဉ္စိန် မဒျံ ပိဝ၊

Keep yourself pure. No longer drink water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and on account of your frequent sickness.

24 ကေၐာဉ္စိတ် မာနဝါနာံ ပါပါနိ ဝိစာရာတ် ပူရွွံ ကေၐာဉ္စိတ် ပၑ္စာတ် ပြကာၑန္တေ၊

The sins of some men are manifest beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they also follow after:

25 တထဲဝ သတ္ကရ္မ္မာဏျပိ ပြကာၑန္တေ တဒနျထာ သတိ ပြစ္ဆန္နာနိ သ္ထာတုံ န ၑက္နုဝန္တိ၊

likewise truly are good works manifested beforehand; and those which are otherwise are not able to be hidden.
