၁ တီမထိယး 3
1 ယဒိ ကၑ္စိဒ် အဓျက္ၐပဒမ် အာကာင်္က္ၐတေ တရှိ သ ဥတ္တမံ ကရ္မ္မ လိပ္သတ ဣတိ သတျံ၊
This is a faithful saying, "If any man is seeking the office of a minister he is aspiring to a noble task."
2 အတော'ဓျက္ၐေဏာနိန္ဒိတေနဲကသျာ ယောၐိတော ဘရ္တြာ ပရိမိတဘောဂေန သံယတမနသာ သဘျေနာတိထိသေဝကေန ၑိက္ၐဏေ နိပုဏေန
The minister should be a man of blameless character; he should be husband of but one wife; he should live a sober, self-restrained, orderly life; he should be hospitable, skilled in teaching;
3 န မဒျပေန န ပြဟာရကေဏ ကိန္တု မၖဒုဘာဝေန နိရွွိဝါဒေန နိရ္လောဘေန
no drinker or brawler; but forbearing, peaceable, and no money- lover;
4 သွပရိဝါရာဏာမ် ဥတ္တမၑာသကေန ပူရ္ဏဝိနီတတွာဒ် ဝၑျာနာံ သန္တာနာနာံ နိယန္တြာ စ ဘဝိတဝျံ၊
he should be a man who rules his own household well, and keeps his children ever under control and thoroughly well behaved.
5 ယတ အာတ္မပရိဝါရာန် ၑာသိတုံ ယော န ၑက္နောတိ တေနေၑွရသျ သမိတေသ္တတ္တွာဝဓာရဏံ ကထံ ကာရိၐျတေ?
For if a man does not know how to rule his own household, how shall he take charge of a church of God?
6 အပရံ သ ဂရွွိတော ဘူတွာ ယတ် ၑယတာန ဣဝ ဒဏ္ဍယောဂျော န ဘဝေတ် တဒရ္ထံ တေန နဝၑိၐျေဏ န ဘဝိတဝျံ၊
He must not be a recent convert, lest he be blinded with pride, and incur the doom of the devil.
7 ယစ္စ နိန္ဒာယာံ ၑယတာနသျ ဇာလေ စ န ပတေတ် တဒရ္ထံ တေန ဗဟိးသ္ထလောကာနာမပိ မဓျေ သုချာတိယုက္တေန ဘဝိတဝျံ၊
He should also have a good reputation among outsiders, lest he fall into reproach, and into a snare of the devil.
8 တဒွတ် ပရိစာရကဲရပိ ဝိနီတဲ ရ္ဒွိဝိဓဝါကျရဟိတဲ ရ္ဗဟုမဒျပါနေ 'နာသက္တဲ ရ္နိရ္လောဘဲၑ္စ ဘဝိတဝျံ,
Deacons, likewise, must be serious, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of gain,
9 နိရ္မ္မလသံဝေဒေန စ ဝိၑွာသသျ နိဂူဎဝါကျံ ဓာတိဝျဉ္စ၊
holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10 အဂြေ တေၐာံ ပရီက္ၐာ ကြိယတာံ တတး ပရမ် အနိန္ဒိတာ ဘူတွာ တေ ပရိစရျျာံ ကုရွွန္တု၊
They should first be tested, and after that, if they are found irreproachable, let them serve as deacons.
11 အပရံ ယောၐိဒ္ဘိရပိ ဝိနီတာဘိရနပဝါဒိကာဘိး သတရ္ကာဘိး သရွွတြ ဝိၑွာသျာဘိၑ္စ ဘဝိတဝျံ၊
Deaconesses likewise must be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
12 ပရိစာရကာ ဧကဲကယောၐိတော ဘရ္တ္တာရော ဘဝေယုး, နိဇသန္တာနာနာံ ပရိဇနာနာဉ္စ သုၑာသနံ ကုရျျုၑ္စ၊
Let deacons be the husband of but one wife, men who rule their children and their household properly.
13 ယတး သာ ပရိစရျျာ ယဲ ရ္ဘဒြရူပေဏ သာဓျတေ တေ ၑြေၐ္ဌပဒံ ပြာပ္နုဝန္တိ ခြီၐ္ဋေ ယီၑော် ဝိၑွာသေန မဟောတ္သုကာ ဘဝန္တိ စ၊
For those who have well discharged the duties of a deacon are gaining an honorable position for themselves, as well as much fearless confidence in the faith of Christ Jesus.
14 တွာံ ပြတျေတတ္ပတြလေခနသမယေ ၑီဃြံ တွတ္သမီပဂမနသျ ပြတျာၑာ မမ ဝိဒျတေ၊
Although I am hoping to come to you before long,
15 ယဒိ ဝါ ဝိလမ္ဗေယ တရှီၑွရသျ ဂၖဟေ 'ရ္ထတး သတျဓရ္မ္မသျ သ္တမ္ဘဘိတ္တိမူလသွရူပါယာမ် အမရေၑွရသျ သမိတော် တွယာ ကီဒၖၑ အာစာရး ကရ္တ္တဝျသ္တတ် ဇ္ဉာတုံ ၑက္ၐျတေ၊
I am writing this to you in case I should be detained, to let you see how you ought to behave in the household of God - the Church of the everliving God, the pillar and mainstay of the truth.
16 အပရံ ယသျ မဟတ္တွံ သရွွသွီကၖတမ် ဤၑွရဘက္တေသ္တတ် နိဂူဎဝါကျမိဒမ် ဤၑွရော မာနဝဒေဟေ ပြကာၑိတ အာတ္မနာ သပုဏျီကၖတော ဒူတဲး သန္ဒၖၐ္ဋး သရွွဇာတီယာနာံ နိကဋေ ဃောၐိတော ဇဂတော ဝိၑွာသပါတြီဘူတသ္တေဇးပြာပ္တယေ သွရ္ဂံ နီတၑ္စေတိ၊
Yes! without contradiction, great is the mystery of godliness!
