1 ပန္တ-ဂါလာတိယာ-ကပ္ပဒကိယာ-အာၑိယာ-ဗိထုနိယာဒေၑေၐု ပြဝါသိနော ယေ ဝိကီရ္ဏလောကား
Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, unto the chosen pilgrims of the dispersion, throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia, —
2 ပိတုရီၑွရသျ ပူရွွနိရ္ဏယာဒ် အာတ္မနး ပါဝနေန ယီၑုခြီၐ္ဋသျာဇ္ဉာဂြဟဏာယ ၑောဏိတပြောက္ၐဏာယ စာဘိရုစိတာသ္တာန် ပြတိ ယီၑုခြီၐ္ဋသျ ပြေရိတး ပိတရး ပတြံ လိခတိ၊ ယုၐ္မာန် ပြတိ ဗာဟုလျေန ၑာန္တိရနုဂြဟၑ္စ ဘူယာသ္တာံ၊
[Chosen] according to the fore-knowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of Spirit, unto obedience and the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ, Favour unto you, and peace, be multiplied!
3 အသ္မာကံ ပြဘော ရျီၑုခြီၐ္ဋသျ တာတ ဤၑွရော ဓနျး, ယတး သ သွကီယဗဟုကၖပါတော မၖတဂဏမဓျာဒ် ယီၑုခြီၐ္ဋသျောတ္ထာနေန ဇီဝနပြတျာၑာရ္ထမ် အရ္ထတော
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who, according to his great mercy, hath regenerated us unto a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from among the dead,
4 'က္ၐယနိၐ္ကလင်္ကာမ္လာနသမ္ပတ္တိပြာပ္တျရ္ထမ် အသ္မာန် ပုန ရ္ဇနယာမာသ၊ သာ သမ္ပတ္တိး သွရ္ဂေ 'သ္မာကံ ကၖတေ သဉ္စိတာ တိၐ္ဌတိ,
Unto an inheritance, incorruptible and undefiled and unfading, reserved in the heavens for you
5 ယူယဉ္စေၑွရသျ ၑက္တိတး ၑေၐကာလေ ပြကာၑျပရိတြာဏာရ္ထံ ဝိၑွာသေန ရက္ၐျဓွေ၊
who, in God’s power, are being guarded through faith unto salvation—ready to be revealed in the last ripe time:
6 တသ္မာဒ် ယူယံ ယဒျပျာနန္ဒေန ပြဖုလ္လာ ဘဝထ တထာပိ သာမ္ပြတံ ပြယောဇနဟေတေား ကိယတ္ကာလပရျျန္တံ နာနာဝိဓပရီက္ၐာဘိး က္လိၑျဓွေ၊
Wherein ye exult, though, for a little, just now, if needful, put to grief in manifold temptations,
7 ယတော ဝဟ္နိနာ ယသျ ပရီက္ၐာ ဘဝတိ တသ္မာတ် နၑွရသုဝရ္ဏာဒပိ ဗဟုမူလျံ ယုၐ္မာကံ ဝိၑွာသရူပံ ယတ် ပရီက္ၐိတံ သွရ္ဏံ တေန ယီၑုခြီၐ္ဋသျာဂမနသမယေ ပြၑံသာယား သမာဒရသျ ဂေါ်ရဝသျ စ ယောဂျတာ ပြာပ္တဝျာ၊
In order that the proving of your faith—much more precious than of gold that perisheth even though, by means of fire, it is proved—may be found unto praise and glory and honour in the revealing of Jesus Christ, —
8 ယူယံ တံ ခြီၐ္ဋမ် အဒၖၐ္ဋွာပိ တသ္မိန် ပြီယဓွေ သာမ္ပြတံ တံ န ပၑျန္တော'ပိ တသ္မိန် ဝိၑွသန္တော 'နိရွွစနီယေန ပြဘာဝယုက္တေန စာနန္ဒေန ပြဖုလ္လာ ဘဝထ,
Whom, not having seen, ye love, on whom, though at present not looking, but believing, ye exult with joy unspeakable and filled with glory,
9 သွဝိၑွာသသျ ပရိဏာမရူပမ် အာတ္မနာံ ပရိတြာဏံ လဘဓွေ စ၊
Being about to bear away the end of your faith—a salvation of souls:
10 ယုၐ္မာသု ယော 'နုဂြဟော ဝရ္တ္တတေ တဒွိၐယေ ယ ဤၑွရီယဝါကျံ ကထိတဝန္တသ္တေ ဘဝိၐျဒွါဒိနသ္တသျ ပရိတြာဏသျာနွေၐဏမ် အနုသန္ဓာနဉ္စ ကၖတဝန္တး၊
Concerning which salvation, prophets—who concerning the favour for you, did prophesy—sought out and searched out,
11 ဝိၑေၐတသ္တေၐာမန္တရွွာသီ ယး ခြီၐ္ဋသျာတ္မာ ခြီၐ္ဋေ ဝရ္တ္တိၐျမာဏာနိ ဒုးခါနိ တဒနုဂါမိပြဘာဝဉ္စ ပူရွွံ ပြာကာၑယတ် တေန ကး ကီဒၖၑော ဝါ သမယော နိရဒိၑျတဲတသျာနုသန္ဓာနံ ကၖတဝန္တး၊
Searching into what particular, or what manner, of season the Spirit of Christ which was in them was pointing to, when witnessing beforehand as to—The sufferings, for Christ, and the glories, after these, —
12 တတသ္တဲ ရွိၐယဲသ္တေ ယန္န သွာန် ကိန္တွသ္မာန် ဥပကုရွွန္တျေတတ် တေၐာံ နိကဋေ ပြာကာၑျတ၊ ယာံၑ္စ တာန် ဝိၐယာန် ဒိဝျဒူတာ အပျဝနတၑိရသော နိရီက္ၐိတုမ် အဘိလၐန္တိ တေ ဝိၐယား သာမ္ပြတံ သွရ္ဂာတ် ပြေၐိတသျ ပဝိတြသျာတ္မနး သဟာယျာဒ် ယုၐ္မတ္သမီပေ သုသံဝါဒပြစာရယိတၖဘိး ပြာကာၑျန္တ၊
Unto whom it was revealed—that, Not unto themselves, but unto us, they were ministering them, which things have, now, been announced unto you through them who have told you the good tidings with Holy Spirit sent forth from heaven: into which things messengers are coveting to obtain a nearer view.
13 အတဧဝ ယူယံ မနးကဋိဗန္ဓနံ ကၖတွာ ပြဗုဒ္ဓါး သန္တော ယီၑုခြီၐ္ဋသျ ပြကာၑသမယေ ယုၐ္မာသု ဝရ္တ္တိၐျမာနသျာနုဂြဟသျ သမ္ပူရ္ဏာံ ပြတျာၑာံ ကုရုတ၊
Wherefore, girding up the loins of your mind, keeping sober, perseveringly direct your hope unto the favour, being borne along to you, in the revealing of Jesus Christ:
14 အပရံ ပူရွွီယာဇ္ဉာနတာဝသ္ထာယား ကုတ္သိတာဘိလာၐာဏာံ ယောဂျမ် အာစာရံ န ကုရွွန္တော ယုၐ္မဒါဟွာနကာရီ ယထာ ပဝိတြော 'သ္တိ
As obedient persons, not configuring yourselves unto your former covetings in your ignorance:
15 ယူယမပျာဇ္ဉာဂြာဟိသန္တာနာ ဣဝ သရွွသ္မိန် အာစာရေ တာဒၖက် ပဝိတြာ ဘဝတ၊
But, according as he that hath called you is holy, do, ye yourselves, also become, holy in all manner of behaviour, —
16 ယတော လိခိတမ် အာသ္တေ, ယူယံ ပဝိတြာသ္တိၐ္ဌတ ယသ္မာဒဟံ ပဝိတြး၊
Inasmuch as it is written—Holy shall ye be, because, I, am holy.
17 အပရဉ္စ ယော ဝိနာပက္ၐပါတမ် ဧကဲကမာနုၐသျ ကရ္မ္မာနုသာရာဒ် ဝိစာရံ ကရောတိ သ ယဒိ ယုၐ္မာဘိသ္တာတ အာချာယတေ တရှိ သွပြဝါသသျ ကာလော ယုၐ္မာဘိ ရ္ဘီတျာ ယာပျတာံ၊
And, if, as Father, ye are invoking him who, without respect of persons, judgeth according to each man’s work, with reverence, for the time of your sojourning, behave ye;
18 ယူယံ နိရရ္ထကာတ် ပဲတၖကာစာရာတ် က္ၐယဏီယဲ ရူပျသုဝရ္ဏာဒိဘိ ရ္မုက္တိံ န ပြာပျ
Knowing that, Not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, have ye been redeemed from your unmeaning behaviour paternally handed down,
19 နိၐ္ကလင်္ကနိရ္မ္မလမေၐၑာဝကသျေဝ ခြီၐ္ဋသျ ဗဟုမူလျေန ရုဓိရေဏ မုက္တိံ ပြာပ္တဝန္တ ဣတိ ဇာနီထ၊
But with precious blood, as of a lamb, unblemished and unspotted, of an Anointed One, —
20 သ ဇဂတော ဘိတ္တိမူလသ္ထာပနာတ် ပူရွွံ နိယုက္တး ကိန္တု စရမဒိနေၐု ယုၐ္မဒရ္ထံ ပြကာၑိတော 'ဘဝတ်၊
Foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, but made manifest at a last stage of the times, for the sake of you
21 ယတသ္တေနဲဝ မၖတဂဏာတ် တသျောတ္ထာပယိတရိ တသ္မဲ ဂေါ်ရဝဒါတရိ စေၑွရေ ဝိၑွသိထ တသ္မာဒ် ဤၑွရေ ယုၐ္မာကံ ဝိၑွာသး ပြတျာၑာ စာသ္တေ၊
who, through him, are faithful towards God, —Who raised him from among the dead, and glory to him gave, So that your faith and hope are directed towards God:
22 ယူယမ် အာတ္မနာ သတျမတသျာဇ္ဉာဂြဟဏဒွါရာ နိၐ္ကပဋာယ ဘြာတၖပြေမ္နေ ပါဝိတမနသော ဘူတွာ နိရ္မ္မလာန္တးကရဏဲး ပရသ္ပရံ ဂါဎံ ပြေမ ကုရုတ၊
Having purified, your souls, by the obedience of the truth, unto unfeigned brotherly affection, from the heart, love, one another, earnestly;
23 ယသ္မာဒ် ယူယံ က္ၐယဏီယဝီရျျာတ် နဟိ ကိန္တွက္ၐယဏီယဝီရျျာဒ် ဤၑွရသျ ဇီဝနဒါယကေန နိတျသ္ထာယိနာ ဝါကျေန ပုနရ္ဇန္မ ဂၖဟီတဝန္တး၊ (aiōn g165)
Having been regenerated—Not out of corruptible seed, but incorruptible—through means of the word of a Living and Abiding God; (aiōn g165)
24 သရွွပြာဏီ တၖဏဲသ္တုလျသ္တတ္တေဇသ္တၖဏပုၐ္ပဝတ်၊ တၖဏာနိ ပရိၑုၐျတိ ပုၐ္ပာဏိ နိပတန္တိ စ၊
Inasmuch as—All flesh, is as grass, and, all the glory thereof, as the flower of grass, —The grass hath withered, and the flower hath fallen out,
