၁ ပိတရး 3

1 ဟေ ယောၐိတး, ယူယမပိ နိဇသွာမိနာံ ဝၑျာ ဘဝတ တထာ သတိ ယဒိ ကေစိဒ် ဝါကျေ ဝိၑွာသိနော န သန္တိ တရှိ

In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behaviour of their wives without a word,

2 တေ ဝိနာဝါကျံ ယောၐိတာမ် အာစာရေဏာရ္ထတသ္တေၐာံ ပြတျက္ၐေဏ ယုၐ္မာကံ သဘယသတီတွာစာရေဏာကြၐ္ဋုံ ၑက္ၐျန္တေ၊

seeing your pure behaviour in fear.

3 အပရံ ကေၑရစနယာ သွရ္ဏာလင်္ကာရဓာရဏောန ပရိစ္ဆဒပရိဓာနေန ဝါ ယုၐ္မာကံ ဝါဟျဘူၐာ န ဘဝတု,

Let your beauty come not from the outward adorning of braiding your hair, and of wearing gold ornaments or of putting on fine clothing,

4 ကိန္တွီၑွရသျ သာက္ၐာဒ် ဗဟုမူလျက္ၐမာၑာန္တိဘာဝါက္ၐယရတ္နေန ယုက္တော ဂုပ္တ အာန္တရိကမာနဝ ဧဝ၊

but from the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight.

5 ယတး ပူရွွကာလေ ယား ပဝိတြသ္တြိယ ဤၑွရေ ပြတျာၑာမကုရွွန် တာ အပိ တာဒၖၑီမေဝ ဘူၐာံ ဓာရယန္တျော နိဇသွာမိနာံ ဝၑျာ အဘဝန်၊

For this is how in the past the holy women who hoped in God also adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands.

6 တထဲဝ သာရာ ဣဗြာဟီမော ဝၑျာ သတီ တံ ပတိမာချာတဝတီ ယူယဉ္စ ယဒိ သဒါစာရိဏျော ဘဝထ ဝျာကုလတယာ စ ဘီတာ န ဘဝထ တရှိ တသျား ကနျာ အာဓွေ၊

So Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose children you now are if you do well and are not put in fear by any terror.

7 ဟေ ပုရုၐား, ယူယံ ဇ္ဉာနတော ဒုရ္ဗ္ဗလတရဘာဇနဲရိဝ ယောၐိဒ္ဘိး သဟဝါသံ ကုရုတ, ဧကသျ ဇီဝနဝရသျ သဟဘာဂိနီဘျတာဘျး သမာဒရံ ဝိတရတ စ န စေဒ် ယုၐ္မာကံ ပြာရ္ထနာနာံ ဗာဓာ ဇနိၐျတေ၊

You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honour to the woman as to the weaker vessel, as also being joint heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

8 ဝိၑေၐတော ယူယံ သရွွ ဧကမနသး ပရဒုးခဲ ရ္ဒုးခိတာ ဘြာတၖပြမိဏး ကၖပါဝန္တး ပြီတိဘာဝါၑ္စ ဘဝတ၊

Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous,

9 အနိၐ္ဋသျ ပရိၑောဓေနာနိၐ္ဋံ နိန္ဒာယာ ဝါ ပရိၑောဓေန နိန္ဒာံ န ကုရွွန္တ အာၑိၐံ ဒတ္တ ယတော ယူယမ် အာၑိရဓိကာရိဏော ဘဝိတုမာဟူတာ ဣတိ ဇာနီထ၊

not rendering evil for evil or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

10 အပရဉ္စ, ဇီဝနေ ပြီယမာဏော ယး သုဒိနာနိ ဒိဒၖက္ၐတေ၊ ပါပါတ် ဇိဟွာံ မၖၐာဝါကျာတ် သွာဓရော် သ နိဝရ္တ္တယေတ်၊

For, “He who would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.

11 သ တျဇေဒ် ဒုၐ္ဋတာမာရ္ဂံ သတ္ကြိယာဉ္စ သမာစရေတ်၊ မၖဂယာဏၑ္စ ၑာန္တိံ သ နိတျမေဝါနုဓာဝတု၊

Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.

12 လောစနေ ပရမေၑသျောန္မီလိတေ ဓာရ္မ္မိကာန် ပြတိ၊ ပြာရ္ထနာယား ကၖတေ တေၐား တစ္ဆြောတြေ သုဂမေ သဒါ၊ ကြောဓာသျဉ္စ ပရေၑသျ ကဒါစာရိၐု ဝရ္တ္တတေ၊

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

13 အပရံ ယဒိ ယူယမ် ဥတ္တမသျာနုဂါမိနော ဘဝထ တရှိ ကော ယုၐ္မာန် ဟိံသိၐျတေ?

Now who will harm you if you become imitators of that which is good?

14 ယဒိ စ ဓရ္မ္မာရ္ထံ က္လိၑျဓွံ တရှိ ဓနျာ ဘဝိၐျထ၊ တေၐာမ် အာၑင်္ကယာ ယူယံ န ဗိဘီတ န ဝိင်္က္တ ဝါ၊

But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “Don’t fear what they fear, neither be troubled.”

15 မနောဘိး ကိန္တု မနျဓွံ ပဝိတြံ ပြဘုမီၑွရံ၊ အပရဉ္စ ယုၐ္မာကမ် အာန္တရိကပြတျာၑာယာသ္တတ္တွံ ယး ကၑ္စိတ် ပၖစ္ဆတိ တသ္မဲ ၑာန္တိဘီတိဘျာမ် ဥတ္တရံ ဒါတုံ သဒါ သုသဇ္ဇာ ဘဝတ၊

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear,

16 ယေ စ ခြီၐ္ဋဓရ္မ္မေ ယုၐ္မာကံ သဒါစာရံ ဒူၐယန္တိ တေ ဒုၐ္ကရ္မ္မကာရိဏာမိဝ ယုၐ္မာကမ် အပဝါဒေန ယတ် လဇ္ဇိတာ ဘဝေယုသ္တဒရ္ထံ ယုၐ္မာကမ် ဥတ္တမး သံဝေဒေါ ဘဝတု၊

having a good conscience. Thus, while you are spoken against as evildoers, they may be disappointed who curse your good way of life in Christ.

17 ဤၑွရသျာဘိမတာဒ် ယဒိ ယုၐ္မာဘိး က္လေၑး သောဎဝျသ္တရှိ သဒါစာရိဘိး က္လေၑသဟနံ ဝရံ န စ ကဒါစာရိဘိး၊

For it is better, if it is God’s will, that you suffer for doing what is right than for doing evil.

18 ယသ္မာဒ် ဤၑွရသျ သန္နိဓိမ် အသ္မာန် အာနေတုမ် အဓာရ္မ္မိကာဏာံ ဝိနိမယေန ဓာရ္မ္မိကး ခြီၐ္ဋော 'ပျေကကၖတွး ပါပါနာံ ဒဏ္ဍံ ဘုက္တဝါန်, သ စ ၑရီရသမ္ဗန္ဓေ မာရိတး ကိန္တွာတ္မနး သမ္ဗန္ဓေ ပုန ရ္ဇီဝိတော 'ဘဝတ်၊

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit,

19 တတ္သမ္ဗန္ဓေ စ သ ယာတြာံ ဝိဓာယ ကာရာဗဒ္ဓါနာမ် အာတ္မနာံ သမီပေ ဝါကျံ ဃောၐိတဝါန်၊

in whom he also went and preached to the spirits in prison,

20 ပုရာ နောဟသျ သမယေ ယာဝတ် ပေါတော နိရမီယတ တာဝဒ် ဤၑွရသျ ဒီရ္ဃသဟိၐ္ဏုတာ ယဒါ ဝျလမ္ဗတ တဒါ တေ'နာဇ္ဉာဂြာဟိဏော'ဘဝန်၊ တေန ပေါတောနာလ္ပေ'ရ္ထာဒ် အၐ္ဋာဝေဝ ပြာဏိနသ္တောယမ် ဥတ္တီရ္ဏား၊

who before were disobedient when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ship was being built. In it, few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.

21 တန္နိဒရ္ၑနဉ္စာဝဂါဟနံ (အရ္ထတး ၑာရီရိကမလိနတာယာ ယသ္တျာဂး သ နဟိ ကိန္တွီၑွရာယောတ္တမသံဝေဒသျ ယာ ပြတဇ္ဉာ သဲဝ) ယီၑုခြီၐ္ဋသျ ပုနရုတ္ထာနေနေဒါနီမ် အသ္မာန် ဥတ္တာရယတိ,

This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you—not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience towards God—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

22 ယတး သ သွရ္ဂံ ဂတွေၑွရသျ ဒက္ၐိဏေ ဝိဒျတေ သွရ္ဂီယဒူတား ၑာသကာ ဗလာနိ စ တသျ ဝၑီဘူတာ အဘဝန်၊

who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, angels and authorities and powers being made subject to him.

A Dove is Sent Forth from the Ark
