1 ১ অপরঞ্চ বর্ণব্বাঃ, শিমোন্ যং নিগ্রং ৱদন্তি, কুরীনীযলূকিযো হেরোদা রাজ্ঞা সহ কৃতৱিদ্যাভ্যাসো মিনহেম্, শৌলশ্চৈতে যে কিযন্তো জনা ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদিন উপদেষ্টারশ্চান্তিযখিযানগরস্থমণ্ডল্যাম্ আসন্,
Now there were at Antioch, in the church that was there, prophets and teachers; Barnabas, and Simeon who was called Niger, and Lucius the Cyrenaean, and Manaen, the foster-brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
2 ২ তে যদোপৱাসং কৃৎৱেশ্ৱরম্ অসেৱন্ত তস্মিন্ সমযে পৱিত্র আত্মা কথিতৱান্ অহং যস্মিন্ কর্ম্মণি বর্ণব্বাশৈলৌ নিযুক্তৱান্ তৎকর্ম্ম কর্ত্তুং তৌ পৃথক্ কুরুত|
And while they were ministering to the Lord, and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.
Then, after they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
4 ৪ ততঃ পরং তৌ পৱিত্রেণাত্মনা প্রেরিতৌ সন্তৌ সিলূকিযানগরম্ উপস্থায সমুদ্রপথেন কুপ্রোপদ্ৱীপম্ অগচ্ছতাং|
They therefore being sent forth by the Holy Spirit, came down to Seleucia, and from thence sailed to Cyprus.
5 ৫ ততঃ সালামীনগরম্ উপস্থায তত্র যিহূদীযানাং ভজনভৱনানি গৎৱেশ্ৱরস্য কথাং প্রাচারযতাং; যোহনপি তৎসহচরোঽভৱৎ|
And having come to Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews; and they had also John as an assistant.
6 ৬ ইত্থং তে তস্যোপদ্ৱীপস্য সর্ৱ্ৱত্র ভ্রমন্তঃ পাফনগরম্ উপস্থিতাঃ; তত্র সুৱিৱেচকেন সর্জিযপৌলনাম্না তদ্দেশাধিপতিনা সহ ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদিনো ৱেশধারী বর্যীশুনামা যো মাযাৱী যিহূদী আসীৎ তং সাক্ষাৎ প্রাপ্তৱতঃ|
And when they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they found a certain magian, a Jewish false prophet, whose name was Bar-jesus,
who was with the proconsul of the country, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. He, having called for Barnabas and Saul, desired to hear the word of God.
But Elymas the magian (for so is his name interpreted) withstood them, seeking so turn away the proconsul from the faith.
But Saul (who is also called Paul), filled with the Holy Spirit, fixed his eyes on him
10 ১০ হে নরকিন্ ধর্ম্মদ্ৱেষিন্ কৌটিল্যদুষ্কর্ম্মপরিপূর্ণ, ৎৱং কিং প্রভোঃ সত্যপথস্য ৱিপর্য্যযকরণাৎ কদাপি ন নিৱর্ত্তিষ্যসে?
and said, O full of all deceit, and of all mischief, son of the Devil, enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
11 ১১ অধুনা পরমেশ্ৱরস্তৱ সমুচিতং করিষ্যতি তেন কতিপযদিনানি ৎৱম্ অন্ধঃ সন্ সূর্য্যমপি ন দ্রক্ষ্যসি| তৎক্ষণাদ্ রাত্রিৱদ্ অন্ধকারস্তস্য দৃষ্টিম্ আচ্ছাদিতৱান্; তস্মাৎ তস্য হস্তং ধর্ত্তুং স লোকমন্ৱিচ্ছন্ ইতস্ততো ভ্রমণং কৃতৱান্|
And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou wilt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and darkness; and going about he sought to find some who would lead him by the hand.
Then the proconsul, when he saw what had taken place, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
13 ১৩ তদনন্তরং পৌলস্তৎসঙ্গিনৌ চ পাফনগরাৎ প্রোতং চালযিৎৱা পম্ফুলিযাদেশস্য পর্গীনগরম্ অগচ্ছন্ কিন্তু যোহন্ তযোঃ সমীপাদ্ এত্য যিরূশালমং প্রত্যাগচ্ছৎ|
And Paul and his company, having put to sea from Paphos, came to Perga in Pamphylia. But John, departing from them, returned to Jerusalem.
14 ১৪ পশ্চাৎ তৌ পর্গীতো যাত্রাং কৃৎৱা পিসিদিযাদেশস্য আন্তিযখিযানগরম্ উপস্থায ৱিশ্রামৱারে ভজনভৱনং প্রৱিশ্য সমুপাৱিশতাং|
And they, going on from Perga, came to Antioch in Pisidia; and they went into the synagogue on the sabbath-day, and sat down.
15 ১৫ ৱ্যৱস্থাভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাক্যযোঃ পঠিতযোঃ সতো র্হে ভ্রাতরৌ লোকান্ প্রতি যুৱযোঃ কাচিদ্ উপদেশকথা যদ্যস্তি তর্হি তাং ৱদতং তৌ প্রতি তস্য ভজনভৱনস্যাধিপতযঃ কথাম্ এতাং কথযিৎৱা প্রৈষযন্|
And after the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, Brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, speak.
16 ১৬ অতঃ পৌল উত্তিষ্ঠন্ হস্তেন সঙ্কেতং কুর্ৱ্ৱন্ কথিতৱান্ হে ইস্রাযেলীযমনুষ্যা ঈশ্ৱরপরাযণাঃ সর্ৱ্ৱে লোকা যূযম্ অৱধদ্ধং|
Then Paul stood up, and beckoned with his hand and said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, hearken.
17 ১৭ এতেষামিস্রাযেল্লোকানাম্ ঈশ্ৱরোঽস্মাকং পূর্ৱ্ৱপরুষান্ মনোনীতান্ কৎৱা গৃহীতৱান্ ততো মিসরি দেশে প্রৱসনকালে তেষামুন্নতিং কৃৎৱা তস্মাৎ স্ৱীযবাহুবলেন তান্ বহিঃ কৃৎৱা সমানযৎ|
The God of this people chose our fathers, and he exalted the people in their sojourn in the land of Egypt, and with a high arm he brought them out of it;
and for about forty years he nourished them in the wilderness.
19 ১৯ কিনান্দেশান্তর্ৱ্ৱর্ত্তীণি সপ্তরাজ্যানি নাশযিৎৱা গুটিকাপাতেন তেষু সর্ৱ্ৱদেশেষু তেভ্যোঽধিকারং দত্তৱান্|
And having destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave them their land as a possession.
20 ২০ পঞ্চাশদধিকচতুঃশতেষু ৱৎসরেষু গতেষু চ শিমূযেল্ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদিপর্য্যন্তং তেষামুপরি ৱিচারযিতৃন্ নিযুক্তৱান্|
And after that, for about four hundred and fifty years, he gave judges, until Samuel the prophet.
21 ২১ তৈশ্চ রাজ্ঞি প্রার্থিতে, ঈশ্ৱরো বিন্যামীনো ৱংশজাতস্য কীশঃ পুত্রং শৌলং চৎৱারিংশদ্ৱর্ষপর্য্যন্তং তেষামুপরি রাজানং কৃতৱান্|
And afterward they asked for a king; and God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years;
22 ২২ পশ্চাৎ তং পদচ্যুতং কৃৎৱা যো মদিষ্টক্রিযাঃ সর্ৱ্ৱাঃ করিষ্যতি তাদৃশং মম মনোভিমতম্ একং জনং যিশযঃ পুত্রং দাযূদং প্রাপ্তৱান্ ইদং প্রমাণং যস্মিন্ দাযূদি স দত্তৱান্ তং দাযূদং তেষামুপরি রাজৎৱং কর্ত্তুম্ উৎপাদিতৱান|
and having removed him, he raised up to them David to be their king, to whom he gave testimony, saying, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, who will do all my will.”
23 ২৩ তস্য স্ৱপ্রতিশ্রুতস্য ৱাক্যস্যানুসারেণ ইস্রাযেল্লোকানাং নিমিত্তং তেষাং মনুষ্যাণাং ৱংশাদ্ ঈশ্ৱর একং যীশুং (ত্রাতারম্) উদপাদযৎ|
From the seed of this man hath God, according to his promise, brought to Israel a Saviour, Jesus;
before whose coming forward John had first preached a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
25 ২৫ যস্য চ কর্ম্মণো ভারং প্রপ্তৱান্ যোহন্ তন্ নিষ্পাদযন্ এতাং কথাং কথিতৱান্, যূযং মাং কং জনং জানীথ? অহম্ অভিষিক্তত্রাতা নহি, কিন্তু পশ্যত যস্য পাদযোঃ পাদুকযো র্বন্ধনে মোচযিতুমপি যোগ্যো ন ভৱামি তাদৃশ একো জনো মম পশ্চাদ্ উপতিষ্ঠতি|
And as John was finishing his course, he said, Who do ye think that I am? I am not He. But lo I there cometh after me one, the sandal of whose feet I am not worthy to loose.
26 ২৬ হে ইব্রাহীমো ৱংশজাতা ভ্রাতরো হে ঈশ্ৱরভীতাঃ সর্ৱ্ৱলোকা যুষ্মান্ প্রতি পরিত্রাণস্য কথৈষা প্রেরিতা|
Brethren, sons of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you was the word of this salvation sent forth.
27 ২৭ যিরূশালম্নিৱাসিনস্তেষাম্ অধিপতযশ্চ তস্য যীশোঃ পরিচযং ন প্রাপ্য প্রতিৱিশ্রামৱারং পঠ্যমানানাং ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদিকথানাম্ অভিপ্রাযম্ অবুদ্ধ্ৱা চ তস্য ৱধেন তাঃ কথাঃ সফলা অকুর্ৱ্ৱন্|
For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, not knowing him, nor the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath, fulfilled them in condemning him.
And though they found nothing deserving death in him, they asked of Pilate that he should be slain.
29 ২৯ তস্মিন্ যাঃ কথা লিখিতাঃ সন্তি তদনুসারেণ কর্ম্ম সম্পাদ্য তং ক্রুশাদ্ অৱতার্য্য শ্মশানে শাযিতৱন্তঃ|
And when they had accomplished all that was written of him, they took him down from the cross, and laid him in a tomb.
But God raised him from the dead,
31 ৩১ পুনশ্চ গালীলপ্রদেশাদ্ যিরূশালমনগরং তেন সার্দ্ধং যে লোকা আগচ্ছন্ স বহুদিনানি তেভ্যো দর্শনং দত্তৱান্, অতস্ত ইদানীং লোকান্ প্রতি তস্য সাক্ষিণঃ সন্তি|
and he was seen for many days by those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses to the people.
32 ৩২ অস্মাকং পূর্ৱ্ৱপুরুষাণাং সমক্ষম্ ঈশ্ৱরো যস্মিন্ প্রতিজ্ঞাতৱান্ যথা, ৎৱং মে পুত্রোসি চাদ্য ৎৱাং সমুত্থাপিতৱানহম্|
And we declare to you the glad tidings, that the promise which was made to the fathers
33 ৩৩ ইদং যদ্ৱচনং দ্ৱিতীযগীতে লিখিতমাস্তে তদ্ যীশোরুত্থানেন তেষাং সন্তানা যে ৱযম্ অস্মাকং সন্নিধৌ তেন প্রত্যক্ষী কৃতং, যুষ্মান্ ইমং সুসংৱাদং জ্ঞাপযামি|
God hath fulfilled to us their children, in raising up Jesus [[from the dead]]; as it is also written in the first Psalm: “Thou art my Son; I have this day begotten thee.”
34 ৩৪ পরমেশ্ৱরেণ শ্মশানাদ্ উত্থাপিতং তদীযং শরীরং কদাপি ন ক্ষেষ্যতে, এতস্মিন্ স স্ৱযং কথিতৱান্ যথা দাযূদং প্রতি প্রতিজ্ঞাতো যো ৱরস্তমহং তুভ্যং দাস্যামি|
And that he raised him up from the dead, no more to return to corruption, he hath thus spoken: “I will give you the sure holy things promised to David.”
Wherefore also in another Psalm he saith, “Thou wilt not suffer thy holy one to see corruption:”
36 ৩৬ দাযূদা ঈশ্ৱরাভিমতসেৱাযৈ নিজাযুষি ৱ্যযিতে সতি স মহানিদ্রাং প্রাপ্য নিজৈঃ পূর্ৱ্ৱপুরুষৈঃ সহ মিলিতঃ সন্ অক্ষীযত;
For David, after having in his own generation served the will of God, fell asleep, and was added to his fathers, and saw corruption;
but he whom God raised from the dead did not see corruption.
Be it therefore known to you, brethren, that through this man is announced to you the forgiveness of sins;
39 ৩৯ ফলতো মূসাৱ্যৱস্থযা যূযং যেভ্যো দোষেভ্যো মুক্তা ভৱিতুং ন শক্ষ্যথ তেভ্যঃ সর্ৱ্ৱদোষেভ্য এতস্মিন্ জনে ৱিশ্ৱাসিনঃ সর্ৱ্ৱে মুক্তা ভৱিষ্যন্তীতি যুষ্মাভি র্জ্ঞাযতাং|
and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
40 ৪০ অপরঞ্চ| অৱজ্ঞাকারিণো লোকাশ্চক্ষুরুন্মীল্য পশ্যত| তথৈৱাসম্ভৱং জ্ঞাৎৱা স্যাত যূযং ৱিলজ্জিতাঃ| যতো যুষ্মাসু তিষ্ঠৎসু করিষ্যে কর্ম্ম তাদৃশং| যেনৈৱ তস্য ৱৃত্তান্তে যুষ্মভ্যং কথিতেঽপি হি| যূযং ন তন্তু ৱৃত্তান্তং প্রত্যেষ্যথ কদাচন||
Beware therefore, lest that come upon you which is spoken in the Prophets,
“Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish! for I work a work in your days, a work which ye will not believe, though one should plainly declare it to you.”
42 ৪২ যিহূদীযভজনভৱনান্ নির্গতযোস্তযো র্ভিন্নদেশীযৈ র্ৱক্ষ্যমাণা প্রার্থনা কৃতা, আগামিনি ৱিশ্রামৱারেঽপি কথেযম্ অস্মান্ প্রতি প্রচারিতা ভৱৎৱিতি|
And as they were going out, they besought that these words might be spoken to them on the next sabbath.
43 ৪৩ সভাযা ভঙ্গে সতি বহৱো যিহূদীযলোকা যিহূদীযমতগ্রাহিণো ভক্তলোকাশ্চ বর্ণব্বাপৌলযোঃ পশ্চাদ্ আগচ্ছন্, তেন তৌ তৈঃ সহ নানাকথাঃ কথযিৎৱেশ্ৱরানুগ্রহাশ্রযে স্থাতুং তান্ প্রাৱর্ত্তযতাং|
And when the synagogue broke up, many of the Jews and proselyte worshippers followed Paul and Barnabas; who, speaking to them, exhorted them to continue in the grace of God.
And on the next sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of the Lord.
45 ৪৫ কিন্তু যিহূদীযলোকা জননিৱহং ৱিলোক্য ঈর্ষ্যযা পরিপূর্ণাঃ সন্তো ৱিপরীতকথাকথনেনেশ্ৱরনিন্দযা চ পৌলেনোক্তাং কথাং খণ্ডযিতুং চেষ্টিতৱন্তঃ|
But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with indignation, and spoke against what was spoken by Paul, contradicting and reviling.
46 ৪৬ ততঃ পৌলবর্ণব্বাৱক্ষোভৌ কথিতৱন্তৌ প্রথমং যুষ্মাকং সন্নিধাৱীশ্ৱরীযকথাযাঃ প্রচারণম্ উচিতমাসীৎ কিন্তুং তদগ্রাহ্যৎৱকরণেন যূযং স্ৱান্ অনন্তাযুষোঽযোগ্যান্ দর্শযথ, এতৎকারণাদ্ ৱযম্ অন্যদেশীযলোকানাং সমীপং গচ্ছামঃ| (aiōnios g166)
Then Paul and Barnabas said boldly and plainly, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you; but seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of the everlasting life, lo! we turn to the gentiles. (aiōnios g166)
47 ৪৭ প্রভুরস্মান্ ইত্থম্ আদিষ্টৱান্ যথা, যাৱচ্চ জগতঃ সীমাং লোকানাং ত্রাণকারণাৎ| মযান্যদেশমধ্যে ৎৱং স্থাপিতো ভূঃ প্রদীপৱৎ||
For thus hath the Lord commanded us: “I have set thee to be a light of the gentiles, that thou mayst bring salvation even to the end of the earth.”
48 ৪৮ তদা কথামীদৃশীং শ্রুৎৱা ভিন্নদেশীযা আহ্লাদিতাঃ সন্তঃ প্রভোঃ কথাং ধন্যাং ধন্যাম্ অৱদন্, যাৱন্তো লোকাশ্চ পরমাযুঃ প্রাপ্তিনিমিত্তং নিরূপিতা আসন্ তে ৱ্যশ্ৱসন্| (aiōnios g166)
And when the gentiles heard this, they rejoiced, and glorified the word of the Lord; and as many as were ordained to everlasting life, believed. (aiōnios g166)
And the word of the Lord was spread abroad throughout the whole country.
50 ৫০ কিন্তু যিহূদীযা নগরস্য প্রধানপুরুষান্ সম্মান্যাঃ কথিপযা ভক্তা যোষিতশ্চ কুপ্রৱৃত্তিং গ্রাহযিৎৱা পৌলবর্ণব্বৌ তাডযিৎৱা তস্মাৎ প্রদেশাদ্ দূরীকৃতৱন্তঃ|
But the Jews stirred up the women of rank who worshipped God, and the chief men of the city, and raised a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them from their borders.
But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came to Iconium.
And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
