1 ১ ততঃ পৰং স দ্ৱাদশশিষ্যানাহূয ভূতান্ ত্যাজযিতুং ৰোগান্ প্ৰতিকৰ্ত্তুঞ্চ তেভ্যঃ শক্তিমাধিপত্যঞ্চ দদৌ|
Then he called the Twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to heal;
and sent them out to preach the kingdom of God, and heal the sick.
And he said to them. "Take nothing for your journey, neither staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money, and do not have two tunics.
"Into whatever house you enter, there stay, and thence depart.
5 ৫ তত্ৰ যদি কস্যচিৎ পুৰস্য লোকা যুষ্মাকমাতিথ্যং ন কুৰ্ৱ্ৱন্তি তৰ্হি তস্মান্নগৰাদ্ গমনকালে তেষাং ৱিৰুদ্ধং সাক্ষ্যাৰ্থং যুষ্মাকং পদধূলীঃ সম্পাতযত|
"If any one will not receive you, shake off the dust from your feet as you leave this town, as a testimony against them."
6 ৬ অথ তে প্ৰস্থায সৰ্ৱ্ৱত্ৰ সুসংৱাদং প্ৰচাৰযিতুং পীডিতান্ স্ৱস্থান্ কৰ্ত্তুঞ্চ গ্ৰামেষু ভ্ৰমিতুং প্ৰাৰেভিৰে|
So they went forth, and walked from village to village, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.
Now Herod, the Tetrarch, heard of all that was happening; and he was perplexed because of its being said by someone that Johnwas risen from the dead;
8 ৮ যতঃ কেচিদূচুৰ্যোহন্ শ্মশানাদুদতিষ্ঠৎ| কেচিদূচুঃ, এলিযো দৰ্শনং দত্তৱান্; এৱমন্যলোকা ঊচুঃ পূৰ্ৱ্ৱীযঃ কশ্চিদ্ ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদী সমুত্থিতঃ|
and by some that Elijah had appeared; and by others that one of the ancient prophets was risen again.
9 ৯ কিন্তু হেৰোদুৱাচ যোহনঃ শিৰোঽহমছিনদম্ ইদানীং যস্যেদৃক্কৰ্ম্মণাং ৱাৰ্ত্তাং প্ৰাপ্নোমি স কঃ? অথ স তং দ্ৰষ্টুম্ ঐচ্ছৎ|
So Herod said, "I beheaded John, but who is this of whom I am hearing such reports," And he kept seeking to see him.
10 ১০ অনন্তৰং প্ৰেৰিতাঃ প্ৰত্যাগত্য যানি যানি কৰ্ম্মাণি চক্ৰুস্তানি যীশৱে কথযামাসুঃ ততঃ স তান্ বৈৎসৈদানামকনগৰস্য ৱিজনং স্থানং নীৎৱা গুপ্তং জগাম|
On their return the apostles told him what they had done. and he took them and withdrew in private to a town called Bethsaida.
11 ১১ পশ্চাল্ লোকাস্তদ্ ৱিদিৎৱা তস্য পশ্চাদ্ যযুঃ; ততঃ স তান্ নযন্ ঈশ্ৱৰীযৰাজ্যস্য প্ৰসঙ্গমুক্তৱান্, যেষাং চিকিৎসযা প্ৰযোজনম্ আসীৎ তান্ স্ৱস্থান্ চকাৰ চ|
But when the crowd learned this they followed him. He received them kindly and spoke to them concerning the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed restored to good health.
12 ১২ অপৰঞ্চ দিৱাৱসন্নে সতি দ্ৱাদশশিষ্যা যীশোৰন্তিকম্ এত্য কথযামাসুঃ, ৱযমত্ৰ প্ৰান্তৰস্থানে তিষ্ঠামঃ, ততো নগৰাণি গ্ৰামাণি গৎৱা ৱাসস্থানানি প্ৰাপ্য ভক্ষ্যদ্ৰৱ্যাণি ক্ৰেতুং জননিৱহং ভৱান্ ৱিসৃজতু|
But now the day began to decline, and the twelve came to him and said. "Send away the crowd so that they may go into the villages and surrounding the country to lodge and buy provisions; for here we are on a solitary place."
13 ১৩ তদা স উৱাচ, যূযমেৱ তান্ ভেজযধ্ৱং; ততস্তে প্ৰোচুৰস্মাকং নিকটে কেৱলং পঞ্চ পূপা দ্ৱৌ মৎস্যৌ চ ৱিদ্যন্তে, অতএৱ স্থানান্তৰম্ ইৎৱা নিমিত্তমেতেষাং ভক্ষ্যদ্ৰৱ্যেষু ন ক্ৰীতেষু ন ভৱতি|
"Do you yourselves give them food," he answered. "We have nothing," they replied "Except five loaves, and a couple fish, unless you mean for us to go and buy provisions for all the crowd."
(For there were about five thousand men.) "Make them sit down in table-companies, of about fifty each," he said to his disciples.
15 ১৫ তদা স শিষ্যান্ জগাদ পঞ্চাশৎ পঞ্চাশজ্জনৈঃ পংক্তীকৃত্য তানুপৱেশযত, তস্মাৎ তে তদনুসাৰেণ সৰ্ৱ্ৱলোকানুপৱেশযাপাসুঃ|
This they did, and made them all sit down.
16 ১৬ ততঃ স তান্ পঞ্চ পূপান্ মীনদ্ৱযঞ্চ গৃহীৎৱা স্ৱৰ্গং ৱিলোক্যেশ্ৱৰগুণান্ কীৰ্ত্তযাঞ্চক্ৰে ভঙ্ক্তা চ লোকেভ্যঃ পৰিৱেষণাৰ্থং শিষ্যেষু সমৰ্পযাম্বভূৱ|
Then he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up in heaven, he blessed them, broke them in pieces, and began to giving to his disciples to apportion among the crowd.
So they ate and were filled, all of them. And there was picked up that which remained over to them, of broken pieces, twelve basketfuls.
Now it happened that while he was praying by himself, the disciples were with him, and he asked them a question. "Who do the crowd think I am?"
19 ১৯ ততস্তে প্ৰাচুঃ, ৎৱাং যোহন্মজ্জকং ৱদন্তি; কেচিৎ ৎৱাম্ এলিযং ৱদন্তি, পূৰ্ৱ্ৱকালিকঃ কশ্চিদ্ ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদী শ্মশানাদ্ উদতিষ্ঠদ্ ইত্যপি কেচিদ্ ৱদন্তি|
"Johnthe Baptist," they answered, "But others say Elijah, and others that one of the ancient prophets is risen again."
Then he said to them, "But who do you say I am? Then Peter answered saying, "The Christ of God.’
Then he strictly forbade them to tell this to any one;
22 ২২ স পুনৰুৱাচ, মনুষ্যপুত্ৰেণ ৱহুযাতনা ভোক্তৱ্যাঃ প্ৰাচীনলোকৈঃ প্ৰধানযাজকৈৰধ্যাপকৈশ্চ সোৱজ্ঞায হন্তৱ্যঃ কিন্তু তৃতীযদিৱসে শ্মশানাৎ তেনোত্থাতৱ্যম্|
and he said, "The Son of man must suffer much, and be restricted by the elders and high priests and scribes and be put to death, and on the third day be raised again."
23 ২৩ অপৰং স সৰ্ৱ্ৱানুৱাচ, কশ্চিদ্ যদি মম পশ্চাদ্ গন্তুং ৱাঞ্ছতি তৰ্হি স স্ৱং দাম্যতু, দিনে দিনে ক্ৰুশং গৃহীৎৱা চ মম পশ্চাদাগচ্ছতু|
And he said to all. "If any man wills to follow me, Let him renounce self and take up his cross daily and follow me.
24 ২৪ যতো যঃ কশ্চিৎ স্ৱপ্ৰাণান্ ৰিৰক্ষিষতি স তান্ হাৰযিষ্যতি, যঃ কশ্চিন্ মদৰ্থং প্ৰাণান্ হাৰযিষ্যতি স তান্ ৰক্ষিষ্যতি|
"For whoever wills to save his life shall lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake shall save it.
25 ২৫ কশ্চিদ্ যদি সৰ্ৱ্ৱং জগৎ প্ৰাপ্নোতি কিন্তু স্ৱপ্ৰাণান্ হাৰযতি স্ৱযং ৱিনশ্যতি চ তৰ্হি তস্য কো লাভঃ?
"For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose or forfeit himself?
26 ২৬ পুন ৰ্যঃ কশ্চিন্ মাং মম ৱাক্যং ৱা লজ্জাস্পদং জানাতি মনুষ্যপুত্ৰো যদা স্ৱস্য পিতুশ্চ পৱিত্ৰাণাং দূতানাঞ্চ তেজোভিঃ পৰিৱেষ্টিত আগমিষ্যতি তদা সোপি তং লজ্জাস্পদং জ্ঞাস্যতি|
"For whoever is ashamed of me and of my teachings, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed when he comes in his own and in his Father’s glory, and in that of the holy angels.
27 ২৭ কিন্তু যুষ্মানহং যথাৰ্থং ৱদামি, ঈশ্ৱৰীযৰাজৎৱং ন দৃষ্টৱা মৃত্যুং নাস্ৱাদিষ্যন্তে, এতাদৃশাঃ কিযন্তো লোকা অত্ৰ স্থনেঽপি দণ্ডাযমানাঃ সন্তি|
"But I tell you truly there are some of those standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God."
28 ২৮ এতদাখ্যানকথনাৎ পৰং প্ৰাযেণাষ্টসু দিনেষু গতেষু স পিতৰং যোহনং যাকূবঞ্চ গৃহীৎৱা প্ৰাৰ্থযিতুং পৰ্ৱ্ৱতমেকং সমাৰুৰোহ|
About eight days after this it happened that Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and went up on the mountain to pray.
And as he was praying the appearances of his countenance became different, and his clothing became white and dazzling.
And suddenly there were two men talking with him, who were Moses and Elijah.
These appeared in glory and talked about his departure which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.
32 ৩২ তদা পিতৰাদযঃ স্ৱস্য সঙ্গিনো নিদ্ৰযাকৃষ্টা আসন্ কিন্তু জাগৰিৎৱা তস্য তেজস্তেন সাৰ্দ্ধম্ উত্তিষ্ঠন্তৌ জনৌ চ দদৃশুঃ|
Now Peter and those who were with him were heavy with sleep; but when they were fully awake they saw his glory, and the two men were standing beside him.
33 ৩৩ অথ তযোৰুভযো ৰ্গমনকালে পিতৰো যীশুং বভাষে, হে গুৰোঽস্মাকং স্থানেঽস্মিন্ স্থিতিঃ শুভা, তত একা ৎৱদৰ্থা, একা মূসাৰ্থা, একা এলিযাৰ্থা, ইতি তিস্ৰঃ কুট্যোস্মাভি ৰ্নিৰ্ম্মীযন্তাং, ইমাং কথাং স ন ৱিৱিচ্য কথযামাস|
And when they were preparing to depart from him Peter said to Jesus. "Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tents, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah" - not knowing what he was saying.
34 ৩৪ অপৰঞ্চ তদ্ৱাক্যৱদনকালে পযোদ এক আগত্য তেষামুপৰি ছাযাং চকাৰ, ততস্তন্মধ্যে তযোঃ প্ৰৱেশাৎ তে শশঙ্কিৰে|
And while he was saying this, there came a cloud and began to overshadow them; and they were awestruck as they entered into the cloud.
And a voice came out of the cloud, saying. "This is my Son, my chosen one; listen to him."
36 ৩৬ ইতি শব্দে জাতে তে যীশুমেকাকিনং দদৃশুঃ কিন্তু তে তদানীং তস্য দৰ্শনস্য ৱাচমেকামপি নোক্ত্ৱা মনঃসু স্থাপযামাসুঃ|
When the voice ceased Jesus was found alone. And they held their peace, and told no one at that time about what they had seen.
It happened the next day, when they were come down from the mountain, that a large crowd came to meet him;
38 ৩৮ তেষাং মধ্যাদ্ একো জন উচ্চৈৰুৱাচ, হে গুৰো অহং ৱিনযং কৰোমি মম পুত্ৰং প্ৰতি কৃপাদৃষ্টিং কৰোতু, মম স এৱৈকঃ পুত্ৰঃ|
and a man called out of the crowd saying. "Teacher, I beg you to look upon my son; for he is my only boy,
39 ৩৯ ভূতেন ধৃতঃ সন্ সং প্ৰসভং চীচ্ছব্দং কৰোতি তন্মুখাৎ ফেণা নিৰ্গচ্ছন্তি চ, ভূত ইত্থং ৱিদাৰ্য্য ক্লিষ্ট্ৱা প্ৰাযশস্তং ন ত্যজতি|
"and behold a spirit seizes hold of him, and rudely he shouts out, It convulses him till he foams; indeed it will hardly leave off bruising him sorely.
"I begged your disciples to cast it out, but they could not."
41 ৪১ তদা যীশুৰৱাদীৎ, ৰে আৱিশ্ৱাসিন্ ৱিপথগামিন্ ৱংশ কতিকালান্ যুষ্মাভিঃ সহ স্থাস্যাম্যহং যুষ্মাকম্ আচৰণানি চ সহিষ্যে? তৱ পুত্ৰমিহানয|
"O faithless and perverse generation," said Jesus, "how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son to me."
42 ৪২ ততস্তস্মিন্নাগতমাত্ৰে ভূতস্তং ভূমৌ পাতযিৎৱা ৱিদদাৰ; তদা যীশুস্তমমেধ্যং ভূতং তৰ্জযিৎৱা বালকং স্ৱস্থং কৃৎৱা তস্য পিতৰি সমৰ্পযামাস|
But while he was yet coming the demon dashed him down, and cruelly convulsed him. Then Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and cured the boy, and gave him back to his father.
43 ৪৩ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য মহাশক্তিম্ ইমাং ৱিলোক্য সৰ্ৱ্ৱে চমচ্চক্ৰুঃ; ইত্থং যীশোঃ সৰ্ৱ্ৱাভিঃ ক্ৰিযাভিঃ সৰ্ৱ্ৱৈৰ্লোকৈৰাশ্চৰ্য্যে মন্যমানে সতি স শিষ্যান্ বভাষে,
And they were all awestruck at the mighty power of God. But while everyone was marveling at what he was doing, he said to his disciples.
"Let these words sink into your ears; for the son of man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men."
45 ৪৫ কিন্তু তে তাং কথাং ন বুবুধিৰে, স্পষ্টৎৱাভাৱাৎ তস্যা অভিপ্ৰাযস্তেষাং বোধগম্যো ন বভূৱ; তস্যা আশযঃ ক ইত্যপি তে ভযাৎ প্ৰষ্টুং ন শেকুঃ|
But they did not understand this saying; it was hidden from them so that they perceived it not, and they were sore afraid to ask him about his saying.
Now there arose a dispute among them as to which one of them was the greatest.
And Jesus who knew the dispute that was in their hearts, took a young child, and placed him by his side;
48 ৪৮ যো জনো মম নাম্নাস্য বালাস্যাতিথ্যং ৱিদধাতি স মমাতিথ্যং ৱিদধাতি, যশ্চ মমাতিথ্যং ৱিদধাতি স মম প্ৰেৰকস্যাতিথ্যং ৱিদধাতি, যুষ্মাকং মধ্যেযঃ স্ৱং সৰ্ৱ্ৱস্মাৎ ক্ষুদ্ৰং জানীতে স এৱ শ্ৰেষ্ঠো ভৱিষ্যতি|
then he said to them. "Whoever shall receive this little child in my name receives me; and whoever shall receive me receives him that sent me. For it is the lowliest among you all who is great."
49 ৪৯ অপৰঞ্চ যোহন্ ৱ্যাজহাৰ হে প্ৰভে তৱ নাম্না ভূতান্ ত্যাজযন্তং মানুষম্ একং দৃষ্টৱন্তো ৱযং, কিন্ত্ৱস্মাকম্ অপশ্চাদ্ গামিৎৱাৎ তং ন্যষেধাম্| তদানীং যীশুৰুৱাচ,
"Master," said John, "we saw a man who was casting out demons in your name, and we forbade him, because he was not following us."
But Jesus said, "Forbid him not, for he who is not against you is for you."
51 ৫১ অনন্তৰং তস্যাৰোহণসময উপস্থিতে স স্থিৰচেতা যিৰূশালমং প্ৰতি যাত্ৰাং কৰ্ত্তুং নিশ্চিত্যাগ্ৰে দূতান্ প্ৰেষযামাস|
When now when the time drew near for him to be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,
and sent messengers before him. These went and entered into a Samaritan village to make ready for him.
But they did not receive him because his face was set to go to Jerusalem.
54 ৫৪ অতএৱ যাকূব্যোহনৌ তস্য শিষ্যৌ তদ্ দৃষ্ট্ৱা জগদতুঃ, হে প্ৰভো এলিযো যথা চকাৰ তথা ৱযমপি কিং গগণাদ্ আগন্তুম্ এতান্ ভস্মীকৰ্ত্তুঞ্চ ৱহ্নিমাজ্ঞাপযামঃ? ভৱান্ কিমিচ্ছতি?
And when his disciples, Jamesand John, saw this they said, "Lord, are you willing for us to bid fire come down from heaven and destroy them?" As Elijah did.
But he turned and rebuked them and said,
56 ৫৬ মনুজসুতো মনুজানাং প্ৰাণান্ নাশযিতুং নাগচ্ছৎ, কিন্তু ৰক্ষিতুম্ আগচ্ছৎ| পশ্চাদ্ ইতৰগ্ৰামং তে যযুঃ|
"You know not what kind of spirit you share, for the Son of man came not to destroy men’s lives, but to save them." And they went to another village.
As they were going on their way, a man came to him and said, "I will follow wherever you go."
58 ৫৮ তদানীং যীশুস্তমুৱাচ, গোমাযূনাং গৰ্ত্তা আসতে, ৱিহাযসীযৱিহগানাং নীডানি চ সন্তি, কিন্তু মানৱতনযস্য শিৰঃ স্থাপযিতুং স্থানং নাস্তি|
"The foxes have their holes," Jesus answered, "and the wild birds have their nest, but the Son of man has not where to lay his head."
59 ৫৯ ততঃ পৰং স ইতৰজনং জগাদ, ৎৱং মম পশ্চাদ্ এহি; ততঃ স উৱাচ, হে প্ৰভো পূৰ্ৱ্ৱং পিতৰং শ্মশানে স্থাপযিতুং মামাদিশতু|
To another he said, "Follow me!" But he replied, "Permit me first to go and bury my father."
"Leave the dead to bury their own dead," said Jesus to him, "go you and announce, far and wide the kingdom of God."
61 ৬১ ততোন্যঃ কথযামাস, হে প্ৰভো মযাপি ভৱতঃ পশ্চাদ্ গংস্যতে, কিন্তু পূৰ্ৱ্ৱং মম নিৱেশনস্য পৰিজনানাম্ অনুমতিং গ্ৰহীতুম্ অহমাদিশ্যৈ ভৱতা|
And another man also said to him. "I will follow you, Lord; but first permit me to bid farewell to those who are in my house."
62 ৬২ তদানীং যীশুস্তং প্ৰোক্তৱান্, যো জনো লাঙ্গলে কৰমৰ্পযিৎৱা পশ্চাৎ পশ্যতি স ঈশ্ৱৰীযৰাজ্যং নাৰ্হতি|
But Jesus answered him, "No man who puts his hand to the plow and then looks back, is fit for the kingdom of God."
