1 ১ অনন্তৰং সপ্তাহস্য প্ৰথমদিনে ঽতিপ্ৰত্যূষে ঽন্ধকাৰে তিষ্ঠতি মগ্দলীনী মৰিযম্ তস্য শ্মশানস্য নিকটং গৎৱা শ্মশানস্য মুখাৎ প্ৰস্তৰমপসাৰিতম্ অপশ্যৎ|
On the first of the Sabbaths Mary Magdalene comes to the sepulcher early in the morning, it being yet dark, and sees the stone having been rolled from the sepulcher.
2 ২ পশ্চাদ্ ধাৱিৎৱা শিমোন্পিতৰায যীশোঃ প্ৰিযতমশিষ্যায চেদম্ অকথযৎ, লোকাঃ শ্মশানাৎ প্ৰভুং নীৎৱা কুত্ৰাস্থাপযন্ তদ্ ৱক্তুং ন শক্নোমি|
Then she runs, and comes to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and says to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulcher, and we know not where they have placed Him.
Then Peter and the other disciple came out, and they were coming to the sepulcher.
And the two were running simultaneously: and the other disciple was running before more rapidly than Peter, and came first to the sepulcher.
John looking in sees the grave-clothes lying; and did not come in.
Then Simon Peter, following him, he came into the sepulcher; and sees the grave-clothes lying,
and the napkin, which was on His head, not lying with the grave-clothes, but separate in one place, having been rolled up.
Then the other disciple also came in, the one having come first to the sepulcher, and saw, and believed;
for they did not yet understand the Scripture, That it behooved Him to rise from the dead.
Then the disciples departed again to their own comrades.
And Mary was standing at the sepulcher without, weeping: then while she was weeping, she looked into the sepulcher;
and sees two angels sitting in white robes, one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus lay.
They say to her, Woman, why do you weep? She says to them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have placed Him.
Saying these words, she turned backward, and sees Jesus standing, and did not know that He is Jesus.
15 ১৫ তদা যীশুস্তাম্ অপৃচ্ছৎ হে নাৰি কুতো ৰোদিষি? কং ৱা মৃগযসে? ততঃ সা তম্ উদ্যানসেৱকং জ্ঞাৎৱা ৱ্যাহৰৎ, হে মহেচ্ছ ৎৱং যদীতঃ স্থানাৎ তং নীতৱান্ তৰ্হি কুত্ৰাস্থাপযস্তদ্ ৱদ তৎস্থানাৎ তম্ আনযামি|
Jesus says to her, Woman, why are you weeping? whom are you seeking? She, thinking that He is the gardener, says to Him, Sir, if you have taken Him away, tell me where you have placed Him, and I will take Him.
Jesus says to her, Mary: she turning, says to Him in Hebrew, Rabboni, which is called Teacher.
17 ১৭ তদা যীশুৰৱদৎ মাং মা ধৰ, ইদানীং পিতুঃ সমীপে ঊৰ্দ্ধ্ৱগমনং ন কৰোমি কিন্তু যো মম যুষ্মাকঞ্চ পিতা মম যুষ্মাকঞ্চেশ্ৱৰস্তস্য নিকট ঊৰ্দ্ধ্ৱগমনং কৰ্ত্তুম্ উদ্যতোস্মি, ইমাং কথাং ৎৱং গৎৱা মম ভ্ৰাতৃগণং জ্ঞাপয|
Jesus says to her, Cling not to me; for I have not ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and tell them, I ascend to my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.
18 ১৮ ততো মগ্দলীনীমৰিযম্ তৎক্ষণাদ্ গৎৱা প্ৰভুস্তস্যৈ দৰ্শনং দত্ত্ৱা কথা এতা অকথযদ্ ইতি ৱাৰ্ত্তাং শিষ্যেভ্যোঽকথযৎ|
Mary Magdalene comes proclaiming to the disciples, I have seen the Lord; and He spoke these things to her.
19 ১৯ ততঃ পৰং সপ্তাহস্য প্ৰথমদিনস্য সন্ধ্যাসমযে শিষ্যা একত্ৰ মিলিৎৱা যিহূদীযেভ্যো ভিযা দ্ৱাৰৰুদ্ধম্ অকুৰ্ৱ্ৱন্, এতস্মিন্ কালে যীশুস্তেষাং মধ্যস্থানে তিষ্ঠন্ অকথযদ্ যুষ্মাকং কল্যাণং ভূযাৎ|
Then it being evening, on that day, on the first day of the week, and the doors being shut where the disciples were assembled, on account of the fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst, and says to them, Peace be unto you.
And saying this, He shewed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples rejoiced, seeing the Lord.
And Jesus said to them again, Peace be unto you: as the Father hath sent me, I also send you.
And saying this, He breathed on them, and says to them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.
Whose sins you may remit, are remitted unto them; whose sins you may retain, have been retained.
And Thomas, one of the twelve, the one called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
25 ২৫ অতো ৱযং প্ৰভূম্ অপশ্যামেতি ৱাক্যেঽন্যশিষ্যৈৰুক্তে সোৱদৎ, তস্য হস্তযো ৰ্লৌহকীলকানাং চিহ্নং ন ৱিলোক্য তচ্চিহ্নম্ অঙ্গুল্যা ন স্পৃষ্ট্ৱা তস্য কুক্ষৌ হস্তং নাৰোপ্য চাহং ন ৱিশ্ৱসিষ্যামি|
Then the other disciples said to him, We have seen the Lord. And he said to them, Unless I may see the print of the nails in His hand, and thrust my finger into the place of the nails, and thrust my hand into His side, I will not believe.
26 ২৬ অপৰম্ অষ্টমেঽহ্নি গতে সতি থোমাসহিতঃ শিষ্যগণ একত্ৰ মিলিৎৱা দ্ৱাৰং ৰুদ্ধ্ৱাভ্যন্তৰ আসীৎ, এতৰ্হি যীশুস্তেষাং মধ্যস্থানে তিষ্ঠন্ অকথযৎ, যুষ্মাকং কুশলং ভূযাৎ|
And after eight days His disciples were again within, and Thomas was with them. Jesus comes, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 ২৭ পশ্চাৎ থামৈ কথিতৱান্ ৎৱম্ অঙ্গুলীম্ অত্ৰাৰ্পযিৎৱা মম কৰৌ পশ্য কৰং প্ৰসাৰ্য্য মম কুক্ষাৱৰ্পয নাৱিশ্ৱস্য|
Then He says to Thomas, Bring hither your finger, and see my hands, and bring your hand, and cast it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
Thomas responded and said to Him, My Lord and my God.
Jesus says to him, Because you have seen me, you have believed: happy are those not seeing, and believing.
Indeed then Jesus also did many other miracles in the presence of His disciples, which have not been written in this book;
31 ৩১ কিন্তু যীশুৰীশ্ৱৰস্যাভিষিক্তঃ সুত এৱেতি যথা যূযং ৱিশ্ৱসিথ ৱিশ্ৱস্য চ তস্য নাম্না পৰমাযুঃ প্ৰাপ্নুথ তদৰ্থম্ এতানি সৰ্ৱ্ৱাণ্যলিখ্যন্ত|
and these have been written in order that you may believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; and in order that believing you may have life through His name.
