And the High-priest said—Are these things, so?
2 ২ ততঃ স প্ৰত্যৱদৎ, হে পিতৰো হে ভ্ৰাতৰঃ সৰ্ৱ্ৱে লাকা মনাংসি নিধদ্ধ্ৱং| অস্মাকং পূৰ্ৱ্ৱপুৰুষ ইব্ৰাহীম্ হাৰণ্নগৰে ৱাসকৰণাৎ পূৰ্ৱ্ৱং যদা অৰাম্-নহৰযিমদেশে আসীৎ তদা তেজোময ঈশ্ৱৰো দৰ্শনং দৎৱা
And, he, said—Brethren and fathers, hearken! The God of Glory, appeared unto our father Abraham, while he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran, —
And said unto him—Get thee forth, out of thy land, and from among thy kindred, and come unto the land which, unto thee, I will point out.
4 ৪ অতঃ স কস্দীযদেশং ৱিহায হাৰণ্নগৰে ন্যৱসৎ, তদনন্তৰং তস্য পিতৰি মৃতে যত্ৰ দেশে যূযং নিৱসথ স এনং দেশমাগচ্ছৎ|
Then, coming forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, he dwelt in Haran; and, from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, in which, ye, now dwell;
5 ৫ কিন্ত্ৱীশ্ৱৰস্তস্মৈ কমপ্যধিকাৰম্ অৰ্থাদ্ একপদপৰিমিতাং ভূমিমপি নাদদাৎ; তদা তস্য কোপি সন্তানো নাসীৎ তথাপি সন্তানৈঃ সাৰ্দ্ধম্ এতস্য দেশস্যাধিকাৰী ৎৱং ভৱিষ্যসীতি তম্প্ৰত্যঙ্গীকৃতৱান্|
And gave him no inheritance therein, not even a place to set his foot on; and yet promised to give it unto him in possession, and unto his seed after him, when as yet he had not a child.
6 ৬ ঈশ্ৱৰ ইত্থম্ অপৰমপি কথিতৱান্ তৱ সন্তানাঃ পৰদেশে নিৱৎস্যন্তি ততস্তদ্দেশীযলোকাশ্চতুঃশতৱৎসৰান্ যাৱৎ তান্ দাসৎৱে স্থাপযিৎৱা তান্ প্ৰতি কুৱ্যৱহাৰং কৰিষ্যন্তি|
But God, spake thus—His seed shall be a sojourner in a foreign land, and they will bring it into bondage, and ill-treat it four-hundred years;
7 ৭ অপৰম্ ঈশ্ৱৰ এনাং কথামপি কথিতৱান্, যে লোকাস্তান্ দাসৎৱে স্থাপযিষ্যন্তি তাল্লোকান্ অহং দণ্ডযিষ্যামি, ততঃ পৰং তে বহিৰ্গতাঃ সন্তো মাম্ অত্ৰ স্থানে সেৱিষ্যন্তে|
And, the nation unto which they shall be in bondage, will, I, judge—said God; and, after these things, shall they come forth, and render divine service unto me, in this place.
8 ৮ পশ্চাৎ স তস্মৈ ৎৱক্ছেদস্য নিযমং দত্তৱান্, অত ইস্হাকনাম্নি ইব্ৰাহীম একপুত্ৰে জাতে, অষ্টমদিনে তস্য ৎৱক্ছেদম্ অকৰোৎ| তস্য ইস্হাকঃ পুত্ৰো যাকূব্, ততস্তস্য যাকূবোঽস্মাকং দ্ৱাদশ পূৰ্ৱ্ৱপুৰুষা অজাযন্ত|
And he gave unto him a covenant of circumcision; and, thus, he begat Isaac, and circumcised him on the eighth day, and Isaac, Jacob, and Jacob, the twelve patriarchs.
And, the patriarchs, being jealous of Joseph, gave him up into Egypt; and, God, was, with him,
10 ১০ কিন্ত্ৱীশ্ৱৰস্তস্য সহাযো ভূৎৱা সৰ্ৱ্ৱস্যা দুৰ্গতে ৰক্ষিৎৱা তস্মৈ বুদ্ধিং দত্ত্ৱা মিসৰদেশস্য ৰাজ্ঞঃ ফিৰৌণঃ প্ৰিযপাত্ৰং কৃতৱান্ ততো ৰাজা মিসৰদেশস্য স্ৱীযসৰ্ৱ্ৱপৰিৱাৰস্য চ শাসনপদং তস্মৈ দত্তৱান্|
And rescued him out of all his tribulations, and gave him favour and wisdom before Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he appointed him governor over Egypt and all his house.
11 ১১ তস্মিন্ সমযে মিসৰ-কিনানদেশযো ৰ্দুৰ্ভিক্ষহেতোৰতিক্লিষ্টৎৱাৎ নঃ পূৰ্ৱ্ৱপুৰুষা ভক্ষ্যদ্ৰৱ্যং নালভন্ত|
And there came a famine upon all Egypt and Canaan, and great tribulation, and our fathers could not find pasture.
12 ১২ কিন্তু মিসৰদেশে শস্যানি সন্তি, যাকূব্ ইমাং ৱাৰ্ত্তাং শ্ৰুৎৱা প্ৰথমম্ অস্মাকং পূৰ্ৱ্ৱপুৰুষান্ মিসৰং প্ৰেষিতৱান্|
But Jacob, hearing there was corn in Egypt, sent off our fathers, first;
And, the second time, Joseph was made known unto his brethren, and, the race of Joseph was made, manifest, unto Pharaoh.
14 ১৪ অনন্তৰং যূষফ্ ভ্ৰাতৃগণং প্ৰেষ্য নিজপিতৰং যাকূবং নিজান্ পঞ্চাধিকসপ্ততিসংখ্যকান্ জ্ঞাতিজনাংশ্চ সমাহূতৱান্|
And Joseph, sending forth, called for Jacob his father, and all the kindred, consisting of seventy-five souls;
And Jacob went down [into Egypt]. And he died, he, and our fathers;
16 ১৬ ততস্তে শিখিমং নীতা যৎ শ্মশানম্ ইব্ৰাহীম্ মুদ্ৰাদৎৱা শিখিমঃ পিতু ৰ্হমোৰঃ পুত্ৰেভ্যঃ ক্ৰীতৱান্ তৎশ্মশানে স্থাপযাঞ্চক্ৰিৰে|
And were brought over into Shechem, and laid in the tomb which Abraham had purchased, for a price of silver, of the sons of Hamor in Shechem.
17 ১৭ ততঃ পৰম্ ঈশ্ৱৰ ইব্ৰাহীমঃ সন্নিধৌ শপথং কৃৎৱা যাং প্ৰতিজ্ঞাং কৃতৱান্ তস্যাঃ প্ৰতিজ্ঞাযাঃ ফলনসমযে নিকটে সতি ইস্ৰাযেল্লোকা সিমৰদেশে ৱৰ্দ্ধমানা বহুসংখ্যা অভৱন্|
Now, just as the time of the promise was drawing near wherewith God had agreed with Abraham, the people grew, and were multiplied in Egypt, —
Until there arose another sort of king over Egypt, who had not known Joseph.
19 ১৯ অস্মাকং জ্ঞাতিভিঃ সাৰ্দ্ধং ধূৰ্ত্ততাং ৱিধায পূৰ্ৱ্ৱপুৰুষান্ প্ৰতি কুৱ্যৱহৰণপূৰ্ৱ্ৱকং তেষাং ৱংশনাশনায তেষাং নৱজাতান্ শিশূন্ বহি ৰ্নিৰক্ষেপযৎ|
The same, dealing craftily with our race, ill-treated our fathers, so as to cause their babes to be exposed, to the end they might not be suffered to live.
In which season, Moses, was born, and was exceeding goodly, —who was nourished up three months in the house of his father;
21 ২১ কিন্তু তস্মিন্ বহিৰ্নিক্ষিপ্তে সতি ফিৰৌণৰাজস্য কন্যা তম্ উত্তোল্য নীৎৱা দত্তকপুত্ৰং কৃৎৱা পালিতৱতী|
But, when he was exposed, the daughter of Pharaoh rescued him, and nourished him for herself, as a son.
And, so Moses was trained in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in his words and works.
And, when there was being fulfilled unto him a period of forty years, it came up on his heart to look after his brethren the sons of Israel;
And, seeing one being wronged, he defended him, and avenged him that was getting worn out, smiting the Egyptian.
25 ২৫ তস্য হস্তেনেশ্ৱৰস্তান্ উদ্ধৰিষ্যতি তস্য ভ্ৰাতৃগণ ইতি জ্ঞাস্যতি স ইত্যনুমানং চকাৰ, কিন্তু তে ন বুবুধিৰে|
But he supposed his brethren would understand that, God, through his hand, would give them deliverance; whereas they understood not.
26 ২৬ তৎপৰে ঽহনি তেষাম্ উভযো ৰ্জনযো ৰ্ৱাক্কলহ উপস্থিতে সতি মূসাঃ সমীপং গৎৱা তযো ৰ্মেলনং কৰ্ত্তুং মতিং কৃৎৱা কথযামাস, হে মহাশযৌ যুৱাং ভ্ৰাতৰৌ পৰস্পৰম্ অন্যাযং কুতঃ কুৰুথঃ?
On the following day also, he appeared unto them, as they were contending, and would have reconciled them in peace, saying—Men! ye are, brothers! Wherefore wrong ye one another?
27 ২৭ ততঃ সমীপৱাসিনং প্ৰতি যো জনোঽন্যাযং চকাৰ স তং দূৰীকৃত্য কথযামাস, অস্মাকমুপৰি শাস্তৃৎৱৱিচাৰযিতৃৎৱপদযোঃ কস্ত্ৱাং নিযুক্তৱান্?
But, he that was wronging his neighbour, thrust him away, saying—Who hath appointed, thee, to be ruler and judge over us?
Art, thou, wishing, to kill me, in the same way thou didst kill, yesterday, the Egyptian?
29 ২৯ তদা মূসা এতাদৃশীং কথাং শ্ৰুৎৱা পলাযনং চক্ৰে, ততো মিদিযনদেশং গৎৱা প্ৰৱাসী সন্ তস্থৌ, ততস্তত্ৰ দ্ৱৌ পুত্ৰৌ জজ্ঞাতে|
And Moses fled at this saying, and became a sojourner in the land of Midian, where he begat two sons.
30 ৩০ অনন্তৰং চৎৱাৰিংশদ্ৱৎসৰেষু গতেষু সীনযপৰ্ৱ্ৱতস্য প্ৰান্তৰে প্ৰজ্ৱলিতস্তম্বস্য ৱহ্নিশিখাযাং পৰমেশ্ৱৰদূতস্তস্মৈ দৰ্শনং দদৌ|
And, when forty years were fulfilled, there appeared unto him, in the desert of Mount Sinai, a messenger, in a flame of fire, in a bush.
And, Moses, seeing it, marvelled at the sight; and, as he was going near to observe, there came a voice of the Lord—
32 ৩২ এতস্মিন্ সমযে, অহং তৱ পূৰ্ৱ্ৱপুৰুষাণাম্ ঈশ্ৱৰোঽৰ্থাদ্ ইব্ৰাহীম ঈশ্ৱৰ ইস্হাক ঈশ্ৱৰো যাকূব ঈশ্ৱৰশ্চ, মূসামুদ্দিশ্য পৰমেশ্ৱৰস্যৈতাদৃশী ৱিহাযসীযা ৱাণী বভূৱ, ততঃ স কম্পান্ৱিতঃ সন্ পুন ৰ্নিৰীক্ষিতুং প্ৰগল্ভো ন বভূৱ|
I, am the God of thy fathers, The God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. And Moses becoming, terrified, durst not observe.
And the Lord said unto him—Loose the sandals of thy feet; for, the place whereon thou art standing, is, hallowed ground.
34 ৩৪ অহং মিসৰদেশস্থানাং নিজলোকানাং দুৰ্দ্দশাং নিতান্তম্ অপশ্যং, তেষাং কাতৰ্য্যোক্তিঞ্চ শ্ৰুতৱান্ তস্মাৎ তান্ উদ্ধৰ্ত্তুম্ অৱৰুহ্যাগমম্; ইদানীম্ আগচ্ছ মিসৰদেশং ৎৱাং প্ৰেষযামি|
I have, indeed seen, the ill-treatment of my people that is in Egypt, and, unto their groaning, have I hearkened, and have come down to rescue them. Now, therefore, come! I will send thee into Egypt.
35 ৩৫ কস্ত্ৱাং শাস্তৃৎৱৱিচাৰযিতৃৎৱপদযো ৰ্নিযুক্তৱান্, ইতি ৱাক্যমুক্ত্ৱা তৈ ৰ্যো মূসা অৱজ্ঞাতস্তমেৱ ঈশ্ৱৰঃ স্তম্বমধ্যে দৰ্শনদাত্ৰা তেন দূতেন শাস্তাৰং মুক্তিদাতাৰঞ্চ কৃৎৱা প্ৰেষযামাস|
The same Moses whom they had refused, saying—Who hath appointed thee to be ruler and judge? the same, both as ruler and redeemer, did God send, by the hand of the messenger who had appeared unto him in the bush:
36 ৩৬ স চ মিসৰদেশে সূফ্নাম্নি সমুদ্ৰে চ পশ্চাৎ চৎৱাৰিংশদ্ৱৎসৰান্ যাৱৎ মহাপ্ৰান্তৰে নানাপ্ৰকাৰাণ্যদ্ভুতানি কৰ্ম্মাণি লক্ষণানি চ দৰ্শযিৎৱা তান্ বহিঃ কৃৎৱা সমানিনায|
The same, led them forth, doing wonders and signs in Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the desert, forty years:
37 ৩৭ প্ৰভুঃ পৰমেশ্ৱৰো যুষ্মাকং ভ্ৰাতৃগণস্য মধ্যে মাদৃশম্ একং ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱক্তাৰম্ উৎপাদযিষ্যতি তস্য কথাযাং যূযং মনো নিধাস্যথ, যো জন ইস্ৰাযেলঃ সন্তানেভ্য এনাং কথাং কথযামাস স এষ মূসাঃ|
The same, is the Moses that said unto the sons of Israel—A prophet, unto you, will God raise up, from among your brethren, like unto me:
38 ৩৮ মহাপ্ৰান্তৰস্থমণ্ডলীমধ্যেঽপি স এৱ সীনযপৰ্ৱ্ৱতোপৰি তেন সাৰ্দ্ধং সংলাপিনো দূতস্য চাস্মৎপিতৃগণস্য মধ্যস্থঃ সন্ অস্মভ্যং দাতৱ্যনি জীৱনদাযকানি ৱাক্যানি লেভে|
The same, is he that came to be in the assembly in the desert, with the messenger who was speaking with him in Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, he who welcomed living utterances, to give unto us:
39 ৩৯ অস্মাকং পূৰ্ৱ্ৱপুৰুষাস্তম্ অমান্যং কৎৱা স্ৱেভ্যো দূৰীকৃত্য মিসৰদেশং পৰাৱৃত্য গন্তুং মনোভিৰভিলষ্য হাৰোণং জগদুঃ,
Unto whom, our fathers would not become obedient, but thrust him away, and turned in their hearts unto Egypt,
40 ৪০ অস্মাকম্ অগ্ৰেঽগ্ৰে গন্তুম্ অস্মদৰ্থং দেৱগণং নিৰ্ম্মাহি যতো যো মূসা অস্মান্ মিসৰদেশাদ্ বহিঃ কৃৎৱানীতৱান্ তস্য কিং জাতং তদস্মাভি ৰ্ন জ্ঞাযতে|
Saying unto Aaron—Make as gods who shall go before us; for, as for this Moses who brought us forth out of Egypt, we know not what hath befallen him!
41 ৪১ তস্মিন্ সমযে তে গোৱৎসাকৃতিং প্ৰতিমাং নিৰ্ম্মায তামুদ্দিশ্য নৈৱেদ্যমুত্মৃজ্য স্ৱহস্তকৃতৱস্তুনা আনন্দিতৱন্তঃ|
And so they fell to calf-making in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their hands.
42 ৪২ তস্মাদ্ ঈশ্ৱৰস্তেষাং প্ৰতি ৱিমুখঃ সন্ আকাশস্থং জ্যোতিৰ্গণং পূজযিতুং তেভ্যোঽনুমতিং দদৌ, যাদৃশং ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদিনাং গ্ৰন্থেষু লিখিতমাস্তে, যথা, ইস্ৰাযেলীযৱংশা ৰে চৎৱাৰিংশৎসমান্ পুৰা| মহতি প্ৰান্তৰে সংস্থা যূযন্তু যানি চ| বলিহোমাদিকৰ্ম্মাণি কৃতৱন্তস্তু তানি কিং| মাং সমুদ্দিশ্য যুষ্মাভিঃ প্ৰকৃতানীতি নৈৱ চ|
But God, turned, and delivered them up to be doing divine service unto the host of heaven, —just as it is written in a book of the prophets—Victims and sacrifices did ye offer unto me, forty years in the desert, O house of Israel?
43 ৪৩ কিন্তু ৱো মোলকাখ্যস্য দেৱস্য দূষ্যমেৱ চ| যুষ্মাকং ৰিম্ফনাখ্যাযা দেৱতাযাশ্চ তাৰকা| এতযোৰুভযো ৰ্মূৰ্তী যুষ্মাভিঃ পৰিপূজিতে| অতো যুষ্মাংস্তু বাবেলঃ পাৰং নেষ্যামি নিশ্চিতং|
Nay! but ye took with you the tent of Moloch, and the star of the god Rephan, —the forms which ye made to bow down unto them: therefore will I carry you away beyond Babylon.
44 ৪৪ অপৰঞ্চ যন্নিদৰ্শনম্ অপশ্যস্তদনুসাৰেণ দূষ্যং নিৰ্ম্মাহি যস্মিন্ ঈশ্ৱৰো মূসাম্ এতদ্ৱাক্যং বভাষে তৎ তস্য নিৰূপিতং সাক্ষ্যস্ৱৰূপং দূষ্যম্ অস্মাকং পূৰ্ৱ্ৱপুৰুষৈঃ সহ প্ৰান্তৰে তস্থৌ|
The tent of witness, was with our fathers in the desert, according as he who was speaking unto Moses, gave instructions, to make it, according to the model which he had seen.
45 ৪৫ পশ্চাৎ যিহোশূযেন সহিতৈস্তেষাং ৱংশজাতৈৰস্মৎপূৰ্ৱ্ৱপুৰুষৈঃ স্ৱেষাং সম্মুখাদ্ ঈশ্ৱৰেণ দূৰীকৃতানাম্ অন্যদেশীযানাং দেশাধিকৃতিকালে সমানীতং তদ্ দূষ্যং দাযূদোধিকাৰং যাৱৎ তত্ৰ স্থান আসীৎ|
Which our fathers succeeding to, also brought in, with Joshua, when taking possession of the nations, which God put out from before our fathers until the days of David;
Who found favour before God, and asked to find a habitation for the God of Jacob.
But, Solomon, built him a house.
48 ৪৮ তথাপি যঃ সৰ্ৱ্ৱোপৰিস্থঃ স কস্মিংশ্চিদ্ হস্তকৃতে মন্দিৰে নিৱসতীতি নহি, ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদী কথামেতাং কথযতি, যথা,
Although indeed, the Most High, not in hand-made places, dwelleth; just as, the prophet, saith—
49 ৪৯ পৰেশো ৱদতি স্ৱৰ্গো ৰাজসিংহাসনং মম| মদীযং পাদপীঠঞ্চ পৃথিৱী ভৱতি ধ্ৰুৱং| তৰ্হি যূযং কৃতে মে কিং প্ৰনিৰ্ম্মাস্যথ মন্দিৰং| ৱিশ্ৰামায মদীযং ৱা স্থানং কিং ৱিদ্যতে ৎৱিহ|
Heaven is my thrown, and, the earth, is my footstool: What manner of house, will ye build me, saith the Lord, —Or what shall be the place of my resting?
Hath not, my hand, made all these things?
51 ৫১ হে অনাজ্ঞাগ্ৰাহকা অন্তঃকৰণে শ্ৰৱণে চাপৱিত্ৰলোকাঃ যূযম্ অনৱৰতং পৱিত্ৰস্যাত্মনঃ প্ৰাতিকূল্যম্ আচৰথ, যুষ্মাকং পূৰ্ৱ্ৱপুৰুষা যাদৃশা যূযমপি তাদৃশাঃ|
Ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised in hearts and in ears, ye, always, against the Holy Spirit, do strive! As your fathers, ye also:
52 ৫২ যুষ্মাকং পূৰ্ৱ্ৱপুৰুষাঃ কং ভৱিষ্যদ্ৱাদিনং নাতাডযন্? যে তস্য ধাৰ্ম্মিকস্য জনস্যাগমনকথাং কথিতৱন্তস্তান্ অঘ্নন্ যূযম্ অধূনা ৱিশ্ৱাসঘাতিনো ভূৎৱা তং ধাৰ্ম্মিকং জনম্ অহত|
Which of the prophets, did not your fathers persecute? Yea they slew them who declared beforehand concerning the coming of the Righteous One—of whom, now, ye, have become, betrayers and murderers!
Who, indeed, received the law through ranks of messengers, —and guarded it not.
And, while they were hearing these things, they were being pierced in their hearts, and began gnashing their teeth against him.
55 ৫৫ কিন্তু স্তিফানঃ পৱিত্ৰেণাত্মনা পূৰ্ণো ভূৎৱা গগণং প্ৰতি স্থিৰদৃষ্টিং কৃৎৱা ঈশ্ৱৰস্য দক্ষিণে দণ্ডাযমানং যীশুঞ্চ ৱিলোক্য কথিতৱান্;
But he, being already full of Holy Spirit, looking steadfastly into heaven, saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God;
And said—Lo! I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man, standing, on the right hand of God.
And, crying out with a loud voice, they held their ears, and rushed with one accord upon him;
58 ৫৮ পশ্চাৎ তং নগৰাদ্ বহিঃ কৃৎৱা প্ৰস্তৰৈৰাঘ্নন্ সাক্ষিণো লাকাঃ শৌলনাম্নো যূনশ্চৰণসন্নিধৌ নিজৱস্ত্ৰাণি স্থাপিতৱন্তঃ|
And, thrusting him forth outside the city, proceeded to stone him. And, the witnesses, laid their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul.
59 ৫৯ অনন্তৰং হে প্ৰভো যীশে মদীযমাত্মানং গৃহাণ স্তিফানস্যেতি প্ৰাৰ্থনৱাক্যৱদনসমযে তে তং প্ৰস্তৰৈৰাঘ্নন্|
And they stoned Stephen, as he was invoking and saying—Lord Jesus! give welcome unto my spirit.
60 ৬০ তস্মাৎ স জানুনী পাতযিৎৱা প্ৰোচ্চৈঃ শব্দং কৃৎৱা, হে প্ৰভে পাপমেতদ্ এতেষু মা স্থাপয, ইত্যুক্ত্ৱা মহানিদ্ৰাং প্ৰাপ্নোৎ|
And, kneeling down, he cried out with a loud voice—Lord! do not charge against them, this sin. And, having said this, he fell asleep.
