1 ১ খ্ৰীষ্টস্য ক্লেশানাং সাক্ষী প্ৰকাশিষ্যমাণস্য প্ৰতাপস্যাংশী প্ৰাচীনশ্চাহং যুষ্মাকং প্ৰাচীনান্ ৱিনীযেদং ৱদামি|

The elders among you I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a sharer in the glory that is to be revealed;

2 ২ যুষ্মাকং মধ্যৱৰ্ত্তী য ঈশ্ৱৰস্য মেষৱৃন্দো যূযং তং পালযত তস্য ৱীক্ষণং কুৰুত চ, আৱশ্যকৎৱেন নহি কিন্তু স্ৱেচ্ছাতো ন ৱ কুলোভেন কিন্ত্ৱিচ্ছুকমনসা|

tend the flock of God which is among you, overseeing it, not by constraint, but willingly; not for base gain, but with ready mind;

3 ৩ অপৰম্ অংশানাম্ অধিকাৰিণ ইৱ ন প্ৰভৱত কিন্তু ৱৃন্দস্য দৃষ্টান্তস্ৱৰূপা ভৱত|

not as lording it over your allotted charge, but being examples to the flock;

4 ৪ তেন প্ৰধানপালক উপস্থিতে যূযম্ অম্লানং গৌৰৱকিৰীটং লপ্স্যধ্ৱে|

and when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye will receive the crown of glory that fadeth not away.

5 ৫ হে যুৱানঃ, যূযমপি প্ৰাচীনলোকানাং ৱশ্যা ভৱত সৰ্ৱ্ৱে চ সৰ্ৱ্ৱেষাং ৱশীভূয নম্ৰতাভৰণেন ভূষিতা ভৱত, যতঃ, আত্মাভিমানিলোকানাং ৱিপক্ষো ভৱতীশ্ৱৰঃ| কিন্তু তেনৈৱ নম্ৰেভ্যঃ প্ৰসাদাদ্ দীযতে ৱৰঃ|

In like manner, ye younger men, submit yourselves to the elder; and all of you be clothed with humility toward each other; for “God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.”

6 ৬ অতো যূযম্ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য বলৱৎকৰস্যাধো নম্ৰীভূয তিষ্ঠত তেন স উচিতসমযে যুষ্মান্ উচ্চীকৰিষ্যতি|

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;

7 ৭ যূযং সৰ্ৱ্ৱচিন্তাং তস্মিন্ নিক্ষিপত যতঃ স যুষ্মান্ প্ৰতি চিন্তযতি|

casting all your care upon him, because he careth for you.

8 ৮ যূযং প্ৰবুদ্ধা জাগ্ৰতশ্চ তিষ্ঠত যতো যুষ্মাকং প্ৰতিৱাদী যঃ শযতানঃ স গৰ্জ্জনকাৰী সিংহ ইৱ পৰ্য্যটন্ কং গ্ৰসিষ্যামীতি মৃগযতে,

Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the Devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour;

9 ৯ অতো ৱিশ্ৱাসে সুস্থিৰাস্তিষ্ঠন্তস্তেন সাৰ্দ্ধং যুধ্যত, যুষ্মাকং জগন্নিৱাসিভ্ৰাতৃষ্ৱপি তাদৃশাঃ ক্লেশা ৱৰ্ত্তন্ত ইতি জানীত|

whom resist, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being accomplished in your brethren in the world.

10 ১০ ক্ষণিকদুঃখভোগাৎ পৰম্ অস্মভ্যং খ্ৰীষ্টেন যীশুনা স্ৱকীযানন্তগৌৰৱদানাৰ্থং যোঽস্মান্ আহূতৱান্ স সৰ্ৱ্ৱানুগ্ৰাহীশ্ৱৰঃ স্ৱযং যুষ্মান্ সিদ্ধান্ স্থিৰান্ সবলান্ নিশ্চলাংশ্চ কৰোতু| (aiōnios g166)

But the God of all grace, who called you to his everlasting glory in Christ Jesus, will, after ye have suffered a while, himself make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. (aiōnios g166)

11 ১১ তস্য গৌৰৱং পৰাক্ৰমশ্চানন্তকালং যাৱদ্ ভূযাৎ| আমেন্| (aiōn g165)

To him be the dominion for ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)

12 ১২ যঃ সিল্ৱানো (মন্যে) যুষ্মাকং ৱিশ্ৱাস্যো ভ্ৰাতা ভৱতি তদ্ৱাৰাহং সংক্ষেপেণ লিখিৎৱা যুষ্মান্ ৱিনীতৱান্ যূযঞ্চ যস্মিন্ অধিতিষ্ঠথ স এৱেশ্ৱৰস্য সত্যো ঽনুগ্ৰহ ইতি প্ৰমাণং দত্তৱান্|

By Silvanus, the faithful brother as I think, I have written to you in few words, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.

13 ১৩ যুষ্মাভিঃ সহাভিৰুচিতা যা সমিতি ৰ্বাবিলি ৱিদ্যতে সা মম পুত্ৰো মাৰ্কশ্চ যুষ্মান্ নমস্কাৰং ৱেদযতি|

The church in Babylon, chosen with you, saluteth you; and Mark, my son.

14 ১৪ যূযং প্ৰেমচুম্বনেন পৰস্পৰং নমস্কুৰুত| যীশুখ্ৰীষ্টাশ্ৰিতানাং যুষ্মাকং সৰ্ৱ্ৱেষাং শান্তি ৰ্ভূযাৎ| আমেন্|

Salute one another with a kiss of love. Peace to you all that are in Christ.
