১ যোহনঃ 3

1 ১ পশ্যত ৱযম্ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য সন্তানা ইতি নাম্নাখ্যামহে, এতেন পিতাস্মভ্যং কীদৃক্ মহাপ্ৰেম প্ৰদত্তৱান্, কিন্তু সংসাৰস্তং নাজানাৎ তৎকাৰণাদস্মান্ অপি ন জানাতি|

See what great love the Father has lavished upon us, that we should be called children of God! The reason the world does not know you is that it did not know him.

2 ২ হে প্ৰিযতমাঃ, ইদানীং ৱযম্ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য সন্তানা আস্মহে পশ্চাৎ কিং ভৱিষ্যামস্তদ্ অদ্যাপ্যপ্ৰকাশিতং কিন্তু প্ৰকাশং গতে ৱযং তস্য সদৃশা ভৱিষ্যামি ইতি জানীমঃ, যতঃ স যাদৃশো ঽস্তি তাদৃশো ঽস্মাভিৰ্দৰ্শিষ্যতে|

Beloved, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. But we know that when he appears, we will be like him, because we will see him as he is.

3 ৩ তস্মিন্ এষা প্ৰত্যাশা যস্য কস্যচিদ্ ভৱতি স স্ৱং তথা পৱিত্ৰং কৰোতি যথা স পৱিত্ৰো ঽস্তি|

Everyone who places this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

4 ৪ যঃ কশ্চিৎ পাপম্ আচৰতি স ৱ্যৱস্থালঙ্ঘনং কৰোতি যতঃ পাপমেৱ ৱ্যৱস্থালঙ্ঘনং|

Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.

5 ৫ অপৰং সো ঽস্মাকং পাপান্যপহৰ্ত্তুং প্ৰাকাশতৈতদ্ যূযং জানীথ, পাপঞ্চ তস্মিন্ ন ৱিদ্যতে|

But you know that he appeared in order to take away our sins, and in him there is no sin.

6 ৬ যঃ কশ্চিৎ তস্মিন্ তিষ্ঠতি স পাপাচাৰং ন কৰোতি যঃ কশ্চিৎ পাপাচাৰং কৰোতি স তং ন দৃষ্টৱান্ ন ৱাৱগতৱান্|

No one who abides in him continues in sin; no one who continues in sin has either seen him or known him.

7 ৭ হে প্ৰিযবালকাঃ, কশ্চিদ্ যুষ্মাকং ভ্ৰমং ন জনযেৎ, যঃ কশ্চিদ্ ধৰ্ম্মাচাৰং কৰোতি স তাদৃগ্ ধাৰ্ম্মিকো ভৱতি যাদৃক্ স ধাম্মিকো ঽস্তি|

Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, just as he is righteous.

8 ৮ যঃ পাপাচাৰং কৰোতি স শযতানাৎ জাতো যতঃ শযতান আদিতঃ পাপাচাৰী শযতানস্য কৰ্ম্মণাং লোপাৰ্থমেৱেশ্ৱৰস্য পুত্ৰঃ প্ৰাকাশত|

Whoever practices sin is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.

9 ৯ যঃ কশ্চিদ্ ঈশ্ৱৰাৎ জাতঃ স পাপাচাৰং ন কৰোতি যতস্তস্য ৱীৰ্য্যং তস্মিন্ তিষ্ঠতি পাপাচাৰং কৰ্ত্তুঞ্চ ন শক্নোতি যতঃ স ঈশ্ৱৰাৎ জাতঃ|

No one who has been born of God continues in sin, because God's seed abides in him; he cannot continue in sin, because he has been born of God.

10 ১০ ইত্যনেনেশ্ৱৰস্য সন্তানাঃ শযতানস্য চ সন্তানা ৱ্যক্তা ভৱন্তি| যঃ কশ্চিদ্ ধৰ্ম্মাচাৰং ন কৰোতি স ঈশ্ৱৰাৎ জাতো নহি যশ্চ স্ৱভ্ৰাতৰি ন প্ৰীযতে সো ঽপীশ্ৱৰাৎ জাতো নহি|

By this the children of God and the children of the devil are revealed: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother.

11 ১১ যতস্তস্য য আদেশ আদিতো যুষ্মাভিঃ শ্ৰুতঃ স এষ এৱ যদ্ অস্মাভিঃ পৰস্পৰং প্ৰেম কৰ্ত্তৱ্যং|

For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

12 ১২ পাপাত্মতো জাতো যঃ কাবিল্ স্ৱভ্ৰাতৰং হতৱান্ তৎসদৃশৈৰস্মাভি ৰ্ন ভৱিতৱ্যং| স কস্মাৎ কাৰণাৎ তং হতৱান্? তস্য কৰ্ম্মাণি দুষ্টানি তদ্ভ্ৰাতুশ্চ কৰ্ম্মাণি ধৰ্ম্মাণ্যাসন্ ইতি কাৰণাৎ|

We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil, but the deeds of his brother were righteous.

13 ১৩ হে মম ভ্ৰাতৰঃ, সংসাৰো যদি যুষ্মান্ দ্ৱেষ্টি তৰ্হি তদ্ আশ্চৰ্য্যং ন মন্যধ্ৱং|

Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.

14 ১৪ ৱযং মৃত্যুম্ উত্তীৰ্য্য জীৱনং প্ৰাপ্তৱন্তস্তদ্ ভ্ৰাতৃষু প্ৰেমকৰণাৎ জানীমঃ| ভ্ৰাতৰি যো ন প্ৰীযতে স মৃত্যৌ তিষ্ঠতি|

We know that we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers. Whoever does not love his brother abides in death.

15 ১৫ যঃ কশ্চিৎ স্ৱভ্ৰাতৰং দ্ৱেষ্টি সং নৰঘাতী কিঞ্চানন্তজীৱনং নৰঘাতিনঃ কস্যাপ্যন্তৰে নাৱতিষ্ঠতে তদ্ যূযং জানীথ| (aiōnios g166)

Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (aiōnios g166)

16 ১৬ অস্মাকং কৃতে স স্ৱপ্ৰাণাংস্ত্যক্তৱান্ ইত্যনেন ৱযং প্ৰেম্নস্তত্ত্ৱম্ অৱগতাঃ, অপৰং ভ্ৰাতৃণাং কৃতে ঽস্মাভিৰপি প্ৰাণাস্ত্যক্তৱ্যাঃ|

By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

17 ১৭ সাংসাৰিকজীৱিকাপ্ৰাপ্তো যো জনঃ স্ৱভ্ৰাতৰং দীনং দৃষ্ট্ৱা তস্মাৎ স্ৱীযদযাং ৰুণদ্ধি তস্যান্তৰ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য প্ৰেম কথং তিষ্ঠেৎ?

If anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need but closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?

18 ১৮ হে মম প্ৰিযবালকাঃ, ৱাক্যেন জিহ্ৱযা ৱাস্মাভিঃ প্ৰেম ন কৰ্ত্তৱ্যং কিন্তু কাৰ্য্যেণ সত্যতযা চৈৱ|

My little children, let us not love in word or speech, but in deed and truth.

19 ১৯ এতেন ৱযং যৎ সত্যমতসম্বন্ধীযাস্তৎ জানীমস্তস্য সাক্ষাৎ স্ৱান্তঃকৰণানি সান্ত্ৱযিতুং শক্ষ্যামশ্চ|

By this we know that we are of the truth and can reassure our hearts before him:

20 ২০ যতো ঽস্মদন্তঃকৰণং যদ্যস্মান্ দূষযতি তৰ্হ্যস্মদন্তঃ কৰণাদ্ ঈশ্ৱৰো মহান্ সৰ্ৱ্ৱজ্ঞশ্চ|

If our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts and knows all things.

21 ২১ হে প্ৰিযতমাঃ, অস্মদন্তঃকৰণং যদ্যস্মান্ ন দূষযতি তৰ্হি ৱযম্ ঈশ্ৱৰস্য সাক্ষাৎ প্ৰতিভান্ৱিতা ভৱামঃ|

Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God

22 ২২ যচ্চ প্ৰাৰ্থযামহে তৎ তস্মাৎ প্ৰাপ্নুমঃ, যতো ৱযং তস্যাজ্ঞাঃ পালযামস্তস্য সাক্ষাৎ তুষ্টিজনকম্ আচাৰং কুৰ্ম্মশ্চ|

and receive from him whatever we ask, because we keep his commandments and do what is pleasing in his sight.

23 ২৩ অপৰং তস্যেযমাজ্ঞা যদ্ ৱযং পুত্ৰস্য যীশুখ্ৰীষ্টস্য নাম্নি ৱিশ্ৱসিমস্তস্যাজ্ঞানুসাৰেণ চ পৰস্পৰং প্ৰেম কুৰ্ম্মঃ|

And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he commanded.

24 ২৪ যশ্চ তস্যাজ্ঞাঃ পালযতি স তস্মিন্ তিষ্ঠতি তস্মিন্ সোঽপি তিষ্ঠতি; স চাস্মান্ যম্ আত্মানং দত্তৱান্ তস্মাৎ সো ঽস্মাসু তিষ্ঠতীতি জানীমঃ|

Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God abides in him. And we know that he abides in us because of the Spirit he has given us.
