< Rom 12 >
1 Masikin ka malngei, Pathien inriengmuna lientak sika hin inbôlna ring le inthieng leh a khôktheiruo ni rangin nin takpum hah Pathien kôm pêk rangin nangni ki ngên ani. Maha nin biek rang lampui diktak chu ani.
I entreat you, then, friends, by the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, for this is your rational worship.
2 Hi rammuol omlam anghin om no ungla, Pathien lungdo asa le a khôktheiruo le asakipdir ngei hah nin riet minthâr theina rangin nin mulungrîl minthara omin hong tei ta roi. (aiōn )
Do not conform to the fashion of this world; but be transformed by the complete change that has come over your minds, so that you may discern what God’s will is – all that is good, acceptable, and perfect. (aiōn )
3 Pathien'n mi pêk moroina neinunpêk sika hin nangni ke ngên ani. Nin kâra tute rangâiinlut rai om no roi. Manêkin, Pathien'n mitin kôma taksônna a pêk angtakin intukpui chit mulungrîl pêl roi.
In fulfillment of the charge with which I have been entrusted, I tell every one of you not to think more highly of themselves than they ought to think, but to think until they learn to think soberly – in accordance with the measure of faith that God has allotted to each.
4 Takpum inkhata amachang tamtak ei dônna ha amachangngei sintum hah aom chit.
For, just as in the human body there is a union of many parts, and each part has its own function,
5 Ma angdênin, eini khom tamtak ni khom inla, Khrista leh takpum inkhat ei nia, ei rêngin takpum abâk anga ânzom chit ei ni.
so we, by our union in Christ, many though we are, form but one body, and individually we are related one to another as its parts.
6 Masikin Pathien moroina mi pêk angtaka hin manboia pêk adang dang ei chang chita. Pathien chongril rang anînchu ei taksônna dôn angtaka hin misîr ila.
Since our gifts differ in accordance with the particular charge entrusted to us, if our gift is to preach, let our preaching correspond to our faith;
7 Sintho rang anînchu ei sinthona hin inpêk ngit ila, mi minchu rang anînchu minchu ngit ila.
if it is to minister to others, let us devote ourselves to our ministry; the teacher to their teaching,
8 Mi mohôk rang anînchu mohôk ngit ila, neinun pêkpu'n phaltakin pêk senla, rachamneipu han takintâitakin tho senla, mi lungkhampu khomin râisântakin lungkham rese.
the counselor to their counsel. Let the person who gives in charity do so with a generous heart; let the person who is in authority exercise due diligence; let the person who shows kindness do so in a cheerful spirit.
9 Lungkhamna chu a rothol koploiin nirese. Asie hah mumâk ungla, asa ha chu mutu tit roi.
Let your love be sincere. Hate the wrong; cling to the right.
10 Khristien sûngsuokrêng angin inkhat le inkhat inlungkham inlôm ungla, mirit inlômna minlang rang jôt tit roi.
In the love of the community of the Lord’s followers, be affectionate to one another; in showing respect, set an example of deference to one another;
11 Sinthona lama ningsiet ungla, nin ratha minboi no roi. Mulungrîltakin Pumapa sin tho roi.
never flagging in zeal; fervent in spirit; serving the Master;
12 Nin sabeina han nin râiminsân senla, intaknangei nin tuong khomin dier ungla, zora tina chubai tho ngâi roi.
rejoicing in your hope; steadfast under persecution; persevering in prayer;
13 Nin Khristien champui ngei insamna nin neinun insan ungla, nin ina khuolmi mintung ngâi roi.
relieving the wants of Christ’s people; devoted to hospitality.
14 An nuom nangni lo ngâi ngei hah khomaksâm loia satvur ngei rangin Pathien kôm ngên roi.
Bless your persecutors – bless and never curse.
15 A râisân ngei râiminsân pui ungla, a chap ngei chappui roi.
Rejoice with those who are rejoicing, and weep with those who are weeping.
16 Mindon munkhatin om ungla, insong no roi rangâiinchîn mingei leh ruol inchang roi. Nin thetheiin avâr intum no roi.
Let the same spirit of sympathy animate you all, not a spirit of pride; enjoy the company of ordinary people. Do not think too highly of yourselves.
17 Mingeiin nin chunga an sin minchâina hah sietna nanâkin thuon no roi. Mi murdi ranga asa hah tho rang pût roi.
Never return injury for injury. Aim at doing what everyone will recognize as honorable.
18 Mi murdi leh inngêia lêng theina rangin bôk ngit roi.
If it is possible, as far as rests with you, live peaceably with everyone.
19 Ka malngei, phûba lâk tet no ungla, manêkin Pathien taksina han tho rese. Pathien lekhabu'n, “Phûba murdi chu keiman ka lâk rang ani, Keiman thuon ki tih, Pumapa'n a ti,” ati anghan.
Never avenge yourselves, dear friends, but make way for the wrath of God; for scripture declares – ‘“It is for me to avenge, I will requite,” says the Lord.’
20 Manêkin, Pathien lekhabu'n ati nôka, “Na râlngei an vonachâmin chu sâk rang pêk ngei inla, an tui ânrâlin chu an nêk rang pêk ngei roh, ha anghan no thôn chu ni min zak ngei ok rang ani.”
Rather – ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him to drink. By doing this you will heap coals of fire on his head.’
21 Sietnân motorin om nônla, manêkin nangman sietna hah motorin satnân zoiin om roh.
Never be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.
