< Rom 10 >

1 Ku sûngsuokngei Israelngei chu sanminringin om rese ngei ti hih ku nuom tak le Pathien kôma ki ngên ngâi tak ani.
Brethren! the delight of my own heart and my supplication God-ward in their behalf, are for salvation;
2 Pathien tieng ningsietakin an om ti ki riet, aniatachu an inpêkna hah rietna diktaka inngam nimak.
For I bear them witness that they have, a zeal for God, —but not according to correct knowledge;
3 Pathien'n mi dik a minchang lam hah riet theiloiin anni an lampui an jûi ngita, Pathien'n dik a min changna balam nuoia han inpêklût nuom mak ngei.
For, not knowing God’s righteousness and, their own, seeking to establish, unto the righteousness of God, have they not submitted;
4 Khrista chu Balam murdi mongna ania, a iem murdi chu Pathien kôm dik intuma an om theina rangin.
For Christ is an end of law, for righteousness, unto every one that believeth.
5 Moses han Balam jôm sika dik changna thurchi hi anghin a miziek, “Balam chongpêk a jômpu chu ring atih,” ti.
For, Moses, writeth that—as touching the righteousness that is by law, The man that hath done [it], shall live thereby;
6 Taksônna sika dik changna thurchi rek chu, “Tumo invâna kal ranga?” (Mahan tumo chungtieng renga Khrista hong ruoi rang tina ani)
Whereas, the righteousness by faith, thus speaketh—Do not say in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? That is, to bring, Christ, down,
7 Tumo pilrîla juong se ranga? (thina renga tumo Khrista hong ruoi rang, tina ani) nin mulungrîlin ti no roi, a tia. (Abyssos g12)
Or, Who shall descend into the abyss? That is, to bring up, Christ, from among the dead; (Abyssos g12)
8 Hanchu imo a ti? “Pathien chong han, nu mûr le nu mulungrîla nang anâi ani,” ma taksônna chong hah kin misîr ani.
But what saith it? Near thee, is the declaration, In thy mouth and in thy heart, —that is, the declaration of the faith, which we proclaim: —
9 Na mûrin Jisua hah Pumapa ani tiin nu phuonga, thina renga Pathien'n a kaithoi ti nu mulungrîlin ni iemin chu sanminringin om ni tih.
That, if thou shalt confess the declaration with thy mouth—That Jesus is, Lord, and shalt believe with thy hear—That, God, raised him from among the dead, thou shalt be saved; —
10 Mulungrîla taksôn chu dik minchang an nia, mûra thop chu sanminringin an om sa ngâi.
For, in heart, it is to be believed unto righteousness, and, by mouth, it is to be confessed unto salvation.
11 Pathien lekhabu'n, “Tukhom ama iem murdi chu mâimôkinshakin om no ngei,” a ti ani.
For the scripture saith—No one that resteth faith thereupon, shall be put to shame?
12 Juda le Jentialngei hah ite lei teina dôn mak ngei, Pumapa inkhat hah anrênga Pumapa ania, Ama ralam ngei kai chu sat a vur ok ngâi.
For there is no distinction—of Jew or Greek, —for, the same [Lord], is Lord of all, being rich unto all who call upon him;
13 Pathien lekhabu'n, “Tukhom Pumapa riming ralam ngei murdi chu sanminringin om an tih,” ati anghan.
For, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved: —
14 Nikhomsenla, an iem loi hah i angin mo an ralam thei ranga? An rietloi hah i angin mo an iem thei ranga? Thurchi misîrpu omloiin kho angin mo an riet thei ranga?
How, then, shall men call upon one in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in one of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear, without one to proclaim?
15 Itîr niloiin kho angin mo thurchi an misîr ranga? Pathien lekhabu'n Thurchi Sa hong mintungpu ngei chu en ahoi bâk na! ati anghan.
And how shall they proclaim, except they be sent? Even as it is written—How beautiful the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!
16 Hannisenla, Thurchi Sa hah anrêngin chu pom let mak ngeia, Isaiah reng khomin, “Pumapa kin chongril tumo a iem?” a ti ani.
But, not all, have become obedient unto the glad tidings; —for, Isaiah, saith—Lord! who believed what we have heard?
17 Ma anghan, taksônna hah chong riet sikin ahong oma, chong rietna hah Khrista thurchi misîrna sikin ahong om ngâi.
Hence, our faith, cometh by something heard, and, that which is heard, through a declaration of Christ.
18 Hanchu, thurchi an riet loi tatak mini? an riet ngêt Pathien lekhabu'n, “An rôl miring hah ramtina ânthanga; An thurchi hah kôlkung dênin ânthang suo zoi,” ati anghan.
But I say: Have they not heard? Yea indeed, —into all the earth, hath gone forth their sound, and, unto the ends of the inhabited world, their declarations.
19 Hanchu, Israelngeiin an riet loi mini? amotontaka Moses rengin “Nama telkhâiloi ngei hah nangni min narsa ka ta; Nam inmôlngei sikin nin takminsi ki tih,” a lei ti ani.
But I say: Hath, Israel, not come to know? First, Moses, saith—I, will provoke you to jealousy on account of a no-nation, on account of an undiscerning nation, will I make you very angry.
20 Isaiah'n hâi uolin, “Mi rok loi ngeiin min mua, mi ralam loi ngei kôma kên lâr,” a lei ti sa.
Isaiah, however, waxeth daring, and saith, —I have been found by them who after me were not seeking, manifest have I become unto them who for me were not enquiring;
21 Hannirese, Israelngei chungroia chu, “Hedonloi ngei le inhel mingei modôm rangin sûntuonin ka bân ka phar ngâi,” a ti.
Whereas, regarding Israel, he saith—All day long, have I stretched forth my hands unto a people unyielding and contradicting.
