But he answered and said to them, "When it is evening, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.'

In the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.' You know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.
4 Atûnlâi mingei hih idôrtaka saloi le pathienboi mo an ni zoi! Minsinna mi nin zong na? Nimak! Jonah minsinna hi vai kêng nin kôma minsinna nangni pêk rang chu ani zoi,” tiin a thuona. Masikin a mâk ngeia male a rotpat zoi.
An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and there will be no sign given to it, except the sign of Jonah." He left them, and departed.
5 Ruoisingei hah dîl râl an rakânin chu, vâipôl chôi rang an hong mingila.
The disciples came to the other side and had forgotten to take bread.

Do you still not understand? Do you not remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you took up?
10 Mi isâng minli ngei ranga vâipôltâp sari chungroi rek ha te? An sâk minieng tabong izetmo nin rût minsip ha?
Nor the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many baskets you took up?
11 Nônte ithomo nin kôm vâipôl roi misîr mu-ung ti nin riet thei loi? Nangni nanâkin Phariseengei le Sadduceengei chol renga indîn roi!” a tia.
Why is it that you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees."
12 Male ruoisingei han vâipôla chol mang ngâi renga indîn rang ni loiin, Phariseengei le Sadduceengei minchuna renga indîn ranga inningna ani ti an riet thei zoi.
Then they understood that he did not tell them to beware of the yeast of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
13 Jisua hah Caesarea Philippi khopui kôla ramhuola a sea, mahan a ruoisingei kôm, “Miriem Nâipasal hih mingeiin tumo ani an ti?” tiin a rekel ngeia.
Now when Jesus came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?"
14 “Senkhatin chu Baptispu John ani,” Adangngeiin chu “Elijah ani,” senkhat nôkin chu “Jeremiah aninônchu dêipu tumakhat mini, nang an ti,” tiin an thuona.
They said, "Some say John the Baptist, some, Elijah, and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets."
15 “Nangnîn rêkte?” ama'n, “Tumo ki ni nin ti?” tiin a rekel ngeia.
He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"
16 Simon Peter'n a kôm, “Messiah, Pathien ring Nâipasal hah ni ni,” tiin a thuona.
Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
17 Jisua'n a kôm, “Simon John nâipasal, na ta rangin asa bâk na! Hi chongtak hih munisi renga no kôm ahong nimaka, invâna om ka Pa'n adiktakin nang a pêk ani.
And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
18 Masikin Peter; lungpui ni ni, ti nang ki ril. Hi lungpui chunga hin ko koiindang minding ka ta, thina khomin mene no nih. (Hadēs )
I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this Rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. (Hadēs )

20 Male Messiah ani ti tute ril loi rangin ruoisingei hah chong a pêk ngei zoi.
Then he commanded the disciples that they should tell no one that he is the Christ.

From that time, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.
22 Peter'n ama hah atheiin a tuonga, a kôm, “Pathien'n maha akhap, Pumapa!” ama'n, “Mahah nu chunga tung tet no nih!” tiin a ngoa.
Peter took him aside, and began to rebuke him, saying, "Far be it from you, Lord. This will never be done to you."
23 Jisua ânheia Peter kôm, “Soitan, ko kôm renga rotpai roh! ka lampui ni ni chakal, ni mindonngei hih Pathien renga hong suok ni maka, munisi nina renga ani sikin,” a tia.
But he turned, and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan. You are a stumbling block to me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of humans."
24 Male Jisua'n a ruoisingei kôm, “Tutu mi jûi a nuomin chu ama taksa rang mingilin a khros ruputin mi jûi rese.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 Tukhom a ringna mojôk a nuom kaiin machân an ta; aniatachu, keima sika an ringna machân kaiin man an tih.
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it.

For what will it profit a person, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his life? Or what will a person give in exchange for his life?

Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste of death, until they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom."
