< Mark 12 >

1 Hanchu Jisua'n chongmintêkin an kôm a misîra, “Voikhat chu mi inkhatin grapebil a thoa, bêr a minkula, grape epna rang khur a choia, male angâkna rang in insâng a sina. Hanchu inlo mingei kôm a chuon inlo rangin a pêk ngeia, ram danga khuolchai a se zoia.
And He began to speak to them in parables. A man planted a vineyard, and placed a hedge round it, and dug a wine-trough; and built a tower, and he gave it out to husbandmen, and went away.
2 Grape pot zora ahongnin chu a chang rangtum lâk rangin inlo mingei kôm a suok inkhat a tîra.
And he sent a servant to the husbandmen in the season, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard:
3 Inlo mingeiin a suok hah an lei sûra, an jêma, kut korongin an min se zoi.
and they taking him, beat him, and sent him away empty.
4 Hanchu a pumapa'n suok dang a tîr nôka; inlo mingei han a lu an lei mophop pea mâimôk an lei shak bita.
And again he sent to them another servant; and stoning him they wounded him in the head, and sent him away dishonored.
5 A pumapa han suok dang a tîr nôk rêka, amapa hah chu an lei thata; male ma angdênin adang tamtak ngei khom senkhat an lei jêma, senkhat an lei thata.
And again he sent another; and they slew him, and many others beating some, killing others.
6 Ha mi han tîr ranga a dôn chu a nâpasal lelê a moroitak vai ha ani zoia; ‘Ka nâipasal hi chu lei jâ ngêt an tih’ tiin a nâipasal hah anûktaka a tîra.
Then having still one son, his own beloved, he sent him also to them last, saying; That they will reverence my son.
7 Hannirese ha inlo mingei han inkhat le inkhat kôm, ‘Hipa hih a pumapa nâipasal ani hi. Hong roi, ama hih that rei u, male a rochon hih ei ta ani rang!’ an tia.
And those husbandmen said to one another; This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.
8 Masikin a nâipasal hah an sûra, an thata a ruok khom grapebil pêntieng an paia.
And taking him they slew him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
9 “Hanchu, kho angin mo grapebil pumapa han a lo ngei rang ni zoi?” tiin Jisua'n a rekela. “Hong a ta, ha mingei hah that a ta, grapebil hah donsûi rangin midangngei kut chunga pêk ngei atih.”
What then shall the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the husbandmen, and give the vineyard to others.
10 Adiktakin hi Pathien lekhabu hih nin pore loi mini? “‘In sinpungeiin lung mangmunboi anga an hengpai hah akila lung kâmnâng tak achang zoi.
Have you not read the Scripture; The stone which the builders rejected, the same has come to be the head of the corner:
11 Maha Pumapa tho ania; ma hih ei mitmua kamâmaruoi sabak na!’” ti hih a tia.
this was with the Lord, and is wonderful in our eyes?
12 Ma chongmintêk hah anni ngei demnân a misîr ani ti an riet sikin; Juda ruoipungeiin Jisua sûr rangin an pûta. Hannirese lokongei hah an chia, masikin ama an mâka, male an rot zoi.
And they were seeking to arrest Him; and they feared the multitude; for they knew that He spoke the parable against them. And leaving Him they went away.
13 Chongrekelngei leh min ôk rangin phariseengei senkhat le Herod pâla mi senkhat ngei a kôm an tîra.
And they send to Him certain ones of the Pharisees and Herodians, that they may catch Him with speech.
14 Anni ngei hah a kôm an honga, “Minchupu, chongtak ni misîr ngâi ti kin rieta, mingeiin imo an mindon rang kângdoi loiin, tute dingmun lunghâng tho loiin, hannirese mingei rangin Pathien lungdo ni minchu ngâia, Rom Rêng Caesar kôma chôiruol pêk rangin ei Balamin ânkalpui mo? Kin pêk ngei rang mo, kin pêk ngei loi rang mo?” mi ril roh, an tia.
And they having come, say to Him, Teacher, we know that thou art true, and there is not a care to thee for any one: for thou dost not look into the face of men, but thou dost teach the way of God in truth: is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? must we give, or must we not give?
15 Aniatachu Jisua'n an huongvâr tho hah a riet chiena, male an kôm, “Ithomo ni min ôk rang nin tho hi? Duli sumthîr inkhat hah hong chôi ngân hi roi, lei en rong,” tiin a thuon ngeia.
And knowing their hypocrisy, He said to them, Why tempt ye me? Bring to me the denarion, that I may see it.
16 Inkhat an hongchôi pea, an kôm han, “Tu mâisuo le tu riming mo ani hi?” tiin a rekel ngeia. Anni ngei han, “Caesar” tiin an thuona.
And they brought it. And He says to them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they say to Him, Caesar's.
17 Masikin Jisua'n an kôm, “Asa, hanchu Ceasar ta chu Caesar pêk ungla, male Pathien ta chu Pathien pêk roi,” a tipe ngeia. Male Jisua chunga han an kamâm sabak zoi.
And Jesus responding said to them, Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things which are God's. And they were astonished at Him.
18 Hanchu mingei inthoinôkna omak ti ngâi Sadduceengei Jisua kôm an honga, male
And the Sadducees come to Him, who say there is no resurrection; and asked Him, saying;
19 “Minchupu, Moses balam hih kin ta rangin a mizieka: ‘Mîn nâingei nei loiin a lômnu a thisanin chu, a nâipa han ha meithâi hah a luo ngêt rang ani, nâingei an neia athipu ulienpa nâingeia bê ani theina rangin.’
Teacher, Moses wrote to us, That if the brother of any man may die, and leave a wife and have no children, that his brother must take his wife and raise up seed to his brother.
20 Voikhat chu lâibung sari an oma; ulientakin in a neia male nâingei nei loiin a thia.
There were seven brothers, and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
21 Hanchu inikna han ma nupang ha a luo nôka, male nâingei nei loi dênin a thi nôka. Lâibung inthumna khom ma angdên ania,
And the second received her and died, and he left no seed; and the third likewise.
22 male anrêngin: ma lâibung sari ngei han ma nupang hah an luo paka, tutên nâingei nei pui loiin an thisan rieia. Anûktaka chu nupangnu khom hah a thia.
And the seven received her and left no seed. Last of all the woman also died.
23 Atûn, mithi ngei nâm aringin an inthoinôk nikhuo tikin tu lômnu tak mo ani rang ani zoi? Ma sari ngei laka han amanu hah anrêngin an luo paka” an tia.
Then in the resurrection, when they may rise, of which one of them shall she be the wife? for the seven had her a wife.
24 Jisua'n an kôm, “Idôra dikloi mo nin zoi! Male itho sika mo nin riet mo?” Ma ha Pathien lekhabu le Pathien sinthotheina nin riet loi sika ani.
And Jesus responding, said to them; Therefore do you not err, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God?
25 Athi ngei aringin an inthoinôk tika chu, invâna vântîrtonngei angin om an ta, innei no ni ngei.
For when they may rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage; but they are as angels in the heavens.
26 Atûn mithi ngei kaithoia an om rang roi chu, Moses lekhabua chîmbuka meichuong chungroia han Pathien'n Moses kôm, “‘Keima Abraham Pathien, Isaac Pathien, Jacob Pathien ki ni,’ tia ânziek hah nin la pore tet ngâi loi mini?
But concerning the dead, that they are raised, have you not read in the book of Moses at the Bush, how God spoke to him saying; I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
27 ‘Ama chu aring ngei Pathien ke ani, mithi ngei Pathien nimak. Nin minchâi phar zoi!’” tiin a thuon ngeia.
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You do err much.
28 Balam minchupu inkhatin an injêkhômna hah a rieta. Jisua'n Sadduceengei hah thuonna satak a pêk ngei hah a mûn chu a honga, masikin Jisua kôm, “Chongpêkngei murdi lâia khotak hi mo akâmomtak?” tiin arkela.
And a certain one of the scribes, hearing them propounding questions, knowing that He answered them beautifully, asked Him, What is the first commandment of all?
29 Jisua'n a kôm, “Akâmomtak chu ma hih ani: ‘Israelngei rangâi roi! Pumapa ei Pathien vai hih Pumapa ani.
And Jesus responded to him, The first commandment of all; Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God, is one Lord:
30 Pumapa na Pathien chu nu mulungrîl murdi leh, na ratha murdi leh, nu mulungbôk murdi leh, na râtna murdi leh lungkham roh.’
and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength. This is the first commandment.
31 Inikna chongpêk akâmom nôk chu ma hih ani: ‘Nangma nên lungkham anghan nu bungmingei lungkham roh’ ti hi. Hi Chongpêk inik ngei nêka roiinpui uol reng omak” tiin Jisua'n a thuona.
And the second is like unto it; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is no other commandment greater than these.
32 Balam minchupu han Jisua kôm, “Ani ai duo, Minchupu! Mahi adik, ni ti anghan, Pumapa vai hih Pathien ania male ama pêna chu pathien dang reng omak.
And the scribes said to Him, Truly, Teacher; thou hast spoken in truth that He is One; and there is no other besides Him.
33 Male Pathien chu nu mulungrîl murdi leh, nu mulungbôk murdi leh, na râtna murdi leh nu lungkham ngêt rang ania; male nangma nên lungkham anghan nu bungmingei hah nu lungkham ngêt rang ani. Pathien kôma mâichâma sâ pumhâl inbôlnangei le inbôlna adangngei nêkin khom ma chongpêk inik ngei jôm hih akâmom uol ani” a tia.
And love Him with all the heart, and with all the mind, and with all the strength, and to love thy neighbor as thyself is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
34 Jisua'n inthârtakin a thuon ti a rieta, male a kôm, “Pathien Rêngram renga la mak che,” a tipea. Masuole chu tutên Jisua kôm chongrekel rangin ngam khâi mak ngei.
And Jesus seeing that he answered intelligently, said to him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no one dared to ask Him any more,
35 Jisua'n Biekina a minchu ngei lâihan an kôm, “Kho angin mo Balam minchupungeiin Messiah chu David richisuonpâr ani rang an ti thei?”
And Jesus responding spoke, teaching in the temple, How do the scribes say that Christ is the son of David?
36 David ha Ratha Inthieng mangin: “Pumapa'n ku Pumapa kôm: Ka changtieng insung tit roh na râlngei ne kepha nuoia ka dar mâka chu” a ti ani.
For David himself said in the Holy Spirit, the Lord said unto my Lord; Sit thou on my right hand, until I may make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet!
37 David han ama hah “‘Pumapa’ a tia; masikin kho angin mo Messiah hih David richisuonpâr ani thei ranga?” a tia. Loko tamtakin Jisua chongril hah râisântakin an rangâia.
Then David himself calls Him Lord; and whence is He his son? And the great multitude were hearing Him delightfully.
38 A minchu ngei anghan, an kôm, “Balam minchupungei renga indîn roi, anni chu kâncholiinchuol hâka lêng an nuom ngâia, bazar muna mîn an jâ ngeia chibai an pêk ngei rangin an nuoma,
And He said to them in His teaching, Beware of the scribes, wishing to walk about in robes, and salutations in the forums,
39 Synagogngeia sukmun asatak ngei, le khohoithona munngeia, mun hoitak ngei an thang ngâi.
and the first seats in the synagogues, and the first couches at the suppers.
40 Meithâingei sum an sâka an inngei an muruka, male mi huongna rangin asôt tatakin chubai an tho ngâia. Masika han an dûktuongna hah intak uol ok atih” a tia.
They are those devouring the houses of widows, and making long prayers through pretext; they shall receive the greater judgment.
41 Jisua Biekina sumsiena kôla ânsunga, mingeiin asûnga an tholôm thâk ngei hah a ena. Minei tamtakin sum tam tatak an thâka;
And He sitting in front of the treasury, was seeing how the multitudes are casting their money into the treasury. And many rich people were casting in much.
42 hanchu meithâi inriengte a honga male damali inik a thâka, maha poisa khat dôr ani.
And one poor widow was casting in two mites, which is a farthing.
43 A ruoisingei a koitupa male an kôm, “Nangni ki ril; tholôm dôngna tholôm thâk ngei murdi nêkin hi meithâi inriengte hih a thâk min tam uol tak ani.
And calling His disciples to Him, He says to them, Truly I say unto you, That this poor widow has cast in more than all those casting into the treasury.
44 Midangngeiin chu an nei minieng, an mang minieng ngei an thâka; aniatachu amanu hih chu, ânrieng anghan, a dôn nâm a thâkripa—a ringna ranga a dôn nâm te hah a pêkrip zoi,” a tia.
For all they of that which abounds unto them cast in; but she of her scarcity cast in all things so many as she had, all her living.
