Luke 16
1 Jisua'n a ruoisingei kôma, “Mineipa inkhatin a tîrlâm, a rochon enkolpu a neia, a pu sum ânchêk tiin a pu kôma an nôna.
AND he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
2 Masikin a pûn a koia a kôma, Nu chung roi ki riet hih inmo ani? Nu sum enkol, a roi an rêngin miziekin mi pêk roh, atûn renga chu sum enkolpu chang thei khâi no tinih,” a tipea.
And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
3 Ha tîrlâm han, “ku pûn ki sinna ni minmâkin imo ki sin rang? pil tuk laka rât mu-unga, kutdo laka kên zaka,” a tia.
Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
4 Hanchu, ki sin hih ni minmâk tika, malngeiin an ina min man om theina rang chang ki riet zoi, a tia.
I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
5 Hanchu, a pu sum ântângngei nâm a koia, amotontakpa kôma, “idôrmo nêntâng?” a tia.
So he called every one of his lord’s debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?
6 Ama han, “Olive sariek ûm razakhat” a tia. A kôma, “hi nêntângna lekha, thuon inla, sômrangngân miziek roh,” a tipea.
And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
7 Midang a rekel nôka, nangte idôr mo nêntâng? a tia. “Bu tumbu isângkhat” a tia. “Hi nêntângna lekha, razarietin miziek roh” a tipea.
Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.
8 Hanchu, a pu sum enkolpu dikloi, a milak thei tie ânpâka, avâr nâingei nêkin rammuol nâingei hi atûnlai roia chu an vâr uol, a tia. (aiōn g165)
And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. (aiōn g165)
9 Jisua'n, “Nangni ki ril, rammuol rochonin ruol sin no ungla, aboi tikin kumtuong ina nin om theina rangin,” a tia. (aiōnios g166)
And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations. (aiōnios g166)
10 Tutu atômte chunga iemom chu atam chunga khom iem aom ngâi, tutu atômte chunga iemomloi chu atam chunga khom iemom ngâi mak.
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
11 Rammuol rochona luo iem nin om nônte, tumo rochon tak vâng hate nangni minrâk ranga?
If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
12 Midang ta chunga luo iem nin om thei nônte, ninta hah tumo nangni pêk ranga?
And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?
13 “Tîrlâm inkhatin pu inik sin tho pe thei no nih. Inkhat heng a ta inkhat midit a tih, nônchu, inkhat sûr a ta, inkhat mathân a tih. Pathien le sum sin minlop thei no tunui,” a tia.
No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
14 Hanchu, Pharisee, sum rangâiminlut ngei han a chong murdi an rieta, an chiera.
And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
15 Jisua'n an kôma, “Mi mitmua a dikin nin inlanga, ania, Pathien'n nin mulung a riet. Miriemin neinun aliena ai be hih Pathien mitmûn chu akâmboi ani,” a tia.
And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
18 “Tutu a lômnu a mâka, midang a neiin chu a inrê ani, mi imâknu neipu khom a inrê ani.”
Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
19 Mineipa inkhat a oma, puon mantam ngei silin nîngtinin hoiinhâia lêngin a om ngâia.
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 Inrieng inkhat, a riming Lazarus a vun pânin a tuom, mineipa inkot bula an hongtuong ngâi, a oma.
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 Mineipa dosâng nuoia bu ramal tâk nêk rang a nuoma, uingei lakin apân an miliek pe ngâia.
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 Inriengte hah a thia, invânram ruolhoia Abraham kôla insung rangin vântîrtonngeiin an tuonga. Mineipa khom a thia an phûma.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. (Hadēs g86)
24 Hanchu ân-ieka, “O pa, Abraham lungkham ni mu inla, Lazarus a kutpâra, tui mindui senla, ke melei mindâi rangin ni juongtîr pe roh, hi meia hin ana ki rietrai zoi sikin,” a tia.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 “Ania, Abraham'n, Ka nâipasal, ni ring lâiin, neinunsa murdi na changa, Lazarus rêk chu asaloi murdi ai chang hah riet roh bah, ania atûn ama chu, hoi takin a oma, nang chu ana tuongin no om zoi ani.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 Mapêna tutu anuom khomin, hi tieng renga ha tieng inkân thei loina rang le ha tieng renga hi tieng kânga hôn kân thei loina rangin ei kâra hin pil achat inthûk a om kêng,” a tia.
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Hanchu mineipa han, “O pa, Abraham, Lazarus hah ka pa insûngkuoa ni tîr pe rangin nang ki ngên.
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
28 Lâibung rangnga ke neia, hi natna muna an hong loina rangin ni juong ril pe rese,” a tia.
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham'n, “Na lâibungngei ril rang chu Moses le dêipungei an nei mo ka ta, ha ngei chong hah rangâi rese ngei,” a tia.
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 “Mineipa han, O, pa Abraham, mavai han chu chuk thei no nih, athi renga ânthoi ngei an kôma se vaiin kêng an sietna an insîr rang,” a tia.
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 “Ania, Abraham'n, Moses le dêipungei hê an lâk nônchu, athi renga inthoinôkin se senla ngei khoma, taksôn uol noni ngei,” a tipe.
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
